A Petunia Growing And Blooming On A Tomato Plant
A few years ago, I grafted a petunia onto a tomato plant. Since they are both in the nightshade family, I was curious to see if it could be done. As you can see, the answer is yes it can be done.

22 Snakes And One Frog Very Near Where I'm Standing
I saw more snakes in this one spot than in any one spot in my life. There are the snakes in the video, but there were also lots of snakes that were just off screen. There were several dozen snakes that were in view, and I'm sure dozens that were hidden or under the water.

Comparing The Taste Of Jimmy Nardello And Gernika Peppers
I think the best way of comparing the taste of two things is to taste them one right after the other. In this video, I taste both the Jimmy Nardello Pepper, and the Gernika Pepper. After tasting them both, I will let you know which one I like the best. Be sure to let us know if you've tasted either of these peppers. Thanks for watching!

What Hail and Wind Did To Our Garden - Gardening Update
We get a storm like this every few years it seems. This one had 70 mile and hour winds, lots of rain, and lots of hail. We lost a couple of trees, and it shredded a lot of the plants in the garden. Even though it looks terrible at first, most of the plants in the garden will bounce back.

Growing Cilantro, Basil, Parsley, Chives and Oregano In Grow Bags
This year I decided to grow some herbs in some grow bags. I expanded our grow bag collection this year so I would have room for a few more things. The herbs are growing in 5 gallon grow bags. So far, I would say that growing the herbs in grow bags has been a success. We can go out and harvest some any time we need to.

Growing Petunias In A Hollow Log and a Homemade Petunia Tower
I found this old hollow log in some free firewood several years ago. It has worked out great for growing Petunia flowers in. I also made a Petunia tower out of an old wire tomato cage and some landscape fabric.

Most people know what a ladybug looks like, but very few know what their larvae and eggs look like. This year we are using grow bags more than ever. I have so many hybrid pepper projects going, that I'm using grow bags to make more room for growing things without expanding the size of our drip irrigation system. This is a look at what we've planted....so far.

Why Ants Are Crawling All Over Your Peonies
If you've ever grown peonies, you have probably noticed that when they are getting ready to bloom, there are ants crawling on them. It's and example of mutualism. Both species benefit from the short term relationship, and they repeat it again, year after year.
