How to Save Cilantro Seeds - Step by Step
In this video, I will show you how to save Cilantro, or Coriander seeds. Once you know how to save your own Coriander seeds, you can grow a continuous supply. You can even grow some indoors if you have good lighting. I'll show you how and when to harvest the seeds, and then I'll show you how I store them for later use.

Tasting And Reviewing Pippin's Golden Honey Pepper
Pippin's Golden Honey Pepper is an edible but ornamental pepper. It starts out purple, then changes to yellow, and finally to a deep orange color. We are able to grow this pepper thanks to Folk artist Horace Pippin, who died in the 1940s. In our garden, it grew to about 3 feet tall, and about 3 or 4 feet wide. I did not stake this one.

Banana Toes Dwarf Tomato Taste Test and Review
Banana Toes Dwarf Tomato is one of many dwarf type tomatoes produced by the Dwarf Tomato Project. I've grown more than a dozen tomatoes from the Dwarf Tomato Project. Some of the rival some of the best heirlooms in taste, but they grow on plants that are a much more manageable size. In this video, I'll taste the tomato and let you know what I think of the taste and how it grew for us.

Tasting And Reviewing Shimofuri - Variegated Tomatoes
This is one of several variegated tomatoes that I grew this year. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The growth habit of this tomato is different than most tomatoes. It grows more outward than upward. For that reason, this would make a great tomato to grow in a container, grow bag, or even a hanging basket. As well as being an attractive plant, it is also a very productive plant.

Saving Basil Seeds To Plant The Next Year and Years After
Saving Basil seeds is very easy to do once you know how. The whole process takes only a few minutes. When you are finished, you will have enough basil seeds to last for several years, at least. All you need to get started are some mature dry basil flower heads, a paper plate, a kitchen strainer, and an envelope to store you seeds in.

Harvesting Kennebec Potatoes Grown In A 10 Gallon Grow Bag
When growing potatoes, you never know what you are going to get until the day you harvest them. This time, I was pretty happy with what I got. I planted 3 seed potatoes in the grow bag, and I ended up with a lot more than that. To help lower the ph a little, I added some sulfur to the soil when I planted.

This was the first time that I have ever grown Aconcagua peppers. I have heard them called giants, but I wasn't sure if that title should be used for them or not. Garden Update And Tour For Early August
It's been a rough year weather wise here, but even with the extreme heat, the garden has done pretty well. Extreme weather will stress plants, and because of that, it's a good time to find plants that do better in that type of weather. We've had a few tomatoes that have done better than others, and also a couple of pole beans that stood out against the others. Let us know how your garden is doing. Thanks for watching!
