Back mobility- beginner/intermediate
I made this video to send my friend Jan.
Jan asked me about achieving mobility in her spine as well as strengthening her abs.
Jan is 80 years old!
This is just a short sequence of 3 yoga/calisthenics movements that I believe any beginner and intermediate level athlete can be doing to achieve mobility in the spine, and I think the Superman looking move is a clever way to work both the spine and abs simultaneously.
These movements are meant to be done in this order.
What would you like to strengthen and/or what would you like to achieve mobility with?
I have been at the beginning beginning of what they might call a “fitness journey”, something else maybe. For me this all began as quite literally a- learn how to walk again journey.
