Dr. John Robson comments on key items from the latest Climate Discussion Nexus weekly "Wednesday Wakeup" newsletter (https://climatediscussionnexus.com/ne..., from the absurd yet predictable claims that COP28 ended in a "historic" deal of no importance to Canada's Environment minister going on jaunts and making empty boasts to Scientific American ditching the precautionary principle to endorse geoengineering, endless exciting new climate research saying the same old unhelpful stuff, a suggestion to garden so you won't have climate anxiety, a claim that breathing is bad for the climate (so presumably they'll stop), more #and ECS in the real world being lower than in the models, a devastating finding that tree ring temperature proxies are brazenly cherry-picked, and yet another finding that trees actually like CO2.
