Take your time is a film inspired by the experiences from summer 2023 and the song playing throughout the film.
With so much happening in the world I was really resonating with this song when I heard it...
The line "Take your time get it off your chest"
....Felt so relevant to what so many people in my life are experiencing....
Feeling overworked and beginning to give themselves more attention than everyone around them specifically work... Finding time to decompress, take care of the self, discover what is going on within the self and internally... I know that resonated deeply with me this summer.
Was working multiple jobs and shot multiple events and just felt like I was going non stop. There was so much I was connecting to and with... in people, places and experiences... Finding the balance between flowing with the world outside of me and taking care of the inner conversations, emotions and dialogues within me. Using this message to continue to remind myself to take my time and let things flow.

Theres so much happening globally as well as internally with everyone shifting into healing and self care practices to keep up with the pace of the digital age... The contrast between the capitol/government and the expansion of consciousness felt super relevant...
The artistic world and the world of order/mind seem to be growing at exponential speeds... I've been wrestling with and fighting the feeling of despair and optimism with both those timelines growing... The more I sit with myself and do my practices the more i'm allowing my instinct to center around the light and integrate the darkness instead of drown in the shadow realm.
Also felt a desire to connect the people I was connecting with and remember we are all tribe, all family and all part of the same journey. We are all journeying on the same path internally... Back to connection, tribe/family and love. Creatively exploring how to create that resonance of connection as i document the journey with everyone along the way... Not everyone is linked or listed but everyone is part of the journey and path we all walk together. links below to people listed in film.

The band Wilderado did such a good job with this song and the resonance felt deep as I edited this together over the summer. I found this song early on in the summer and kept listening too it and vibrating with it while I shot and documented moments and experiences from this season...
It's an interesting way to create films... feels very heart centered.
