The church of the books of Acts (Ebionites/Nazarenes) fled east to Pella, when Rome tried to control the uprisings in Jerusalem and then eventually destroyed the temple in 70AD. The Ebionites would be highly influential in that region and it is said that they were the leading movement which influenced Islam in the 7th Century. I don't agree with Gerardo the maker of this video on the Christianity Rome created.
