Silica Gel has been in the hands of each of us at some point. These small sachets are usually with clothing, bags or even electronics items that you buy new with in the packaging. They ensure that moisture is extracted. Most people throw these little bags directly into the trash, but you shouldn't do that in the future. Because there are a few things you can do with them, here I'll show you what they are.

1. if your phone gets wet or damp, all you have to do is put it in a bowl with some silica gel packs to make it dry again.

2. to prevent your tools from rusting, you should keep a few bags of silica gel in your toolbox.

3. the same works for your cutlery. Put a few bags in the drawer where you keep your cutlery.

4. you can always keep a few bags in your sports bag. They will absorb the moisture from your sports clothes, so it shouldn't stink as much.

5. in your closet you can always put a few bags, so that the laundry does not start to stink.

6. old photos or documents should not get wet in the best case, so that they do not start to mold. Put a few bags between the photos or documents.

7. stinky and damp shoes? No problem! Again, you can put a few silica gel bags in them to absorb the moisture.

You can also remove the moisture from the bags and use them over and over again. To do this, place them on a baking sheet and set the oven to 100 degrees and leave them in here for 30 minutes.

In the future, you should definitely store the silica gel pouches. That way, you'll always have some on hand when you need them for one of the applications shown here.
