The ACSS reticle is perfect for AR-10 shooters and is effective, simple, and versatile. The reticle can be a little blurry near the edges, but luckily it is in the center.
Compared to more expensive options like a Trijicon LPVO, this scope functions perfectly for the money. Many low power variables are getting larger and heavier, which can negatively affect the balance of a light carbine.
This scope is short and light, making it the perfect option. The older TRG 24 had great glass, but a terrible reticle. The Razor 1-6 had the best glass but was heavy and had frustrating sub-tensions.
The PA 1-8 is a great option if you want to drill targets at high speed with a carbine optic. While there are optics that cost 3-10x the price, the PA 1-8 is fast and has good enough glass to not slow you down.
For the money, this scope is truly hard to beat. It is easy to mount with an American Defense mount and can be zeroed quickly with just 16 rounds.
