The Monster of Florence or in the local language Il Mostro di Firenze. this was the name used by the Italian media for an a unidentified serial killer who was active within the Province of Florence between August 1968 and September 1985. The Monster focused on murdering young couples in secluded places while they were in their vehicle, normally while they were engaging intimate relations.
