Goldeneye 007 (Wii) Gameplay Sample

Note: I am testing the EVGA XR1 Lite for quality in this video. I'm not replacing my HD60s, but decided to try the $60-$70 capture card out.

Goldeneye on the Wii is a solid FPS game that would have been a good buy for so-called "Core gamers" on the Wii. While it's certainly not as good as the N64 Goldeneye, using the name for sales, it's a solid FPS game, and it had a fun online component as well. I am not sure if the game is still online, but it was just a couple of years ago when I tested it last.

The game is a retelling of Goldeneye, but takes it's own liberties with the story, and substitutes Daniel Craig in for Pierce Brosnan . It's more of an alternate GE than a remake.

The gunplay is solid, but not nearly as arcadey-fun as the original. This game did eventually get an up-port to the PS360 consoles as well.

NOTE: I purposely turned the music off for this footage.
