The Fascinating Story of the Pope and Young Club
The story of the Pope & Young Club is long and full of history figures.
Many bowhunters have a passing familiarity with the Pope and Young Club. This bowhunting organization is the official keepers of world records for North American big game animals harvested via archery equipment. While the record book gets all the attention, many hunters do not realize the club's many contributions to wildlife conservation and the growth of bowhunting for big game as a while.
In fact, it can be argued that without the P&Y Club, modern bowhunting as we know it may not exist at all. This is the story of how a handful of like-minded individuals fostered bowhunting heritage and ushered in a whole new era of modern hunting.

What Shotgun Load Should Be Used for Each Hunt?
A shotgun might be the most universal hunting weapon ever devised.
Pick the right load for your game and you're all set.
Whether you're hunting doves or bears at close range, a shotgun is very versatile. If you use the wrong load, though, a hunt could go bad quickly.
We'll start with the very smallest game one might hunt with a shotgun. Then, we'll progress up to the very largest and suggest the right loads for each specific hunt.
ADVERTISING
1. Dove and quail
dove hunting
When hunting dove and quail, it's best to pick No. 7, 7.5 or 8 shot. Anything bigger creates gaps in the shotgun patterns the birds might fly through. Also, the larger shot might tear up the birds too much. Any shotgun bore or gauge size is suitable given distance accommodations. Remember, a tiny .410-bore shotgun won't reach out as far as a 12-gauge will.
2. Rabbit and squirrel
Rabbit Hunting
No. 6 lead shot has been the go-to shot size for rabbits and squirrels for as long as anyone can remember. For higher treetop squirrels, larger shot like No. 5 shot is perfect. Many hunters prefer also the even-larger No. 4 shot, but remember as the shot size goes up, you also have less pellets and more holes in your distance patterns.
Fire a test shot pattern into a sheet of paper at different distances and see what shot size works well in your shotgun. Rabbits don't require a magnum load or heavy game load, but squirrel shots way up in a tree can use such a load. An improved cylinder choke is great for rabbits, but go full choke for squirrels.
3. Ducks
For waterfowl loads, nontoxic shot such as steel, tungsten, bismuth or others have replaced lead shot by federal law. The best way to hunt duck-sized birds is by using No. 2 steel shot in a magnum load.
4. Geese
Geese also require nontoxic shot by law. It takes a lot to knock these tough birds out of the sky. Plan on using BB shot or close to it for maximum knockdown power on the big honkers. Magnum loads are the name of the game.
5. Turkey
Turkey hunting with a shotgun comes down to blasting the gobbler in the head and neck with as much shot as possible. These notoriously hard-to-kill birds can take body hits of shot and keep on going. A tightly choked larger-gauge shotgun is best, but choose your loads wisely. No. 4, 5 or 6 shot in buffered magnum loads is a safe bet. Aim small and miss small when shooting at these birds!
6. Coyotes and other predators
Coyote Hunting
Coyotes are best targeted up close with buckshot-sized loads. Smaller buckshot loads like No. 4 Buck will carry many pellets out to the critter and still pack a punch a ways out. A 12-gauge shotgun is perfect for this role using 3-inch magnum loads or even the larger 3.5-inch loads if your shotgun is chambered for them.
7. Deer
Travis Smola
Deer hunting is usually with shotgun slugs. Soft-lead, Foster-style slugs are the classic choice from smooth-bore shotguns. If you have a rifled barrel, sabot slugs increase accuracy and give you a better projectile to launch with better accuracy. Don't fire lead Foster slugs from a rifled barrel. They'll be inaccurate and foul the rifling badly with lead deposits.
Buckshot might be legal in some areas. Larger sizes are recommended, such as 00 Buck for large deer. Pattern your shotgun before you hunt and only use this method for short-range hunting where it's legal. Shotgun slugs are a better choice.
8. Bears and wild boar
Deep-penetrating shotgun slugs are the go-to here. A rifled 12-gauge shotgun barrel firing hot sabot slug loads is a good choice for short range. Leave the buckshot at home. You need all the skull-penetrating power you can get. Make sure you can hit your target, though! Your shots truly might be in self-defense.

Mini Cows Exist, And Here's The Adorable Proof
Yes, miniature cows are real, and yes, they really are this adorable.
If you don't have enough room on your land for a herd of big cows, consider getting minis for smaller acreage. They still produce milk like standard size cows but don't need as much space. These small-breed bull cows generally stand at 36 to 42 inches at the hip, which means they are about half the size of a full-size cow.
Some miniature cattle breeds include:
Mini Belted Galloway cows are hardy in the winter with their double shaggy coats they shed in the summer. Belties were originally bred in Scotland
Dexters are mini cows by nature and were bred in Ireland and are smaller by nature due to the lack of resources in mountains where they originated. They were dubbed "The Poor Man's Cow" because they don't take much to raise, so they're ideal for homesteading.
Jersey cows come form Jersey Island in Britain. Islands don't have that much room for large, grazing herds so miniature Jersey cows were bred to be smaller than normal. Mini Jerseys don't get bigger than 42 inches at the hip. They'll make wonderful additions to your small farm!
Miniature Herefords are a reasonable size and fluffy to boot! These great pets help mow your grass, provide good fertilizer, and you can enter them into cow shows at fairs.
Miniature zebus are noticeable by the hump behind their head and are thought to be the oldest cattle breed in the world, originating in India. These small cattle make good companions on smaller farms. Their milk is also very high in butterfat content. Brahman cattle are a breed branching from the Zebu.
Holsteins are best known for their milk production, producing two to three gallons a day! They make for a great little family milk cow!
Scottish Highland cows are known best for their luscious locks, making them well adapted to cold weather.
It is up to you to research quality miniature cattle breeders and farms, but the good news is that there are plenty of them here in the United States for you to choose from. Reference the International Miniature Cattle registry for more info on where to find these miniature bovines. By the time you realize, and once you win the lottery, you'll have the sweetest little mini farm!

Matthew McConaughey's Millionaire Brother Rooster Was a Reality TV Star
We all know and love actor Matthew McConaughey. He's a Texas treasure who passionately loves his home state and even chose to move back to his beloved Austin to raise his three children with his wife Camila Alves. But did you know that he has an older brother who's a self-made millionaire? Mike 'Rooster' McConaughey used everything he learned from his father James Donald McConaughey on the Texas oil fields as a young man and was able to turn that knowledge into a profitable business living by the motto “high risk means high reward.”
You'd think that just being known for being Matthew McConaughey's brother would make you popular among major fans of the Oscar winner, but Rooster has paved his own path which led from the oil fields to reality television. He made his first million at 30 years old, and though he lost it all a year later, he learned everything he needed to make millions with his oil pipe business, DGM Supply. After finding immense success, Rooster and his business partner Wayne "Butch" Gilliam starred in the docuseries West Texas Investors Club for two seasons on CNBC. The series focused on their investment company West Texas Ltd.
His latest new show, Rooster & Butch, debuted on A&E in 2018. Their goal was to be the opposite of Shark Tank, helping aspiring entrepreneurs real their goals.
“We level the playing field,” McConaughey told People. “It’s a condensed version of how we’ve done business our entire lives.”
With his heavy Texas drawl, Rooster is possibly, even more, Texas than his famous brother. He even named his son Miller Lyte after his favorite beer. He apparently grew up the life of the party and frequently seen with a cigar in hand on his TV shows, which comes as no surprise. Though he's taking a hiatus from reality TV these days, he's regularly seen accompanying his brother on red carpets in Hollywood, though unlike their mother, has actually kept his mouth shut about his famous brother, respecting his boundaries.

Jeff Gordon’s Wife Is a Stunning Supermodel
Of course, we all know NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon is known for his success in motorsports. Only a few race car drivers can even compare to the amount of talent he had behind the wheel. However he's not the only talented one. His wife Ingrid Vandebosch has had quite the career of her own. Talk about a power couple.
She may not be as talked about in the world of racing, but in the realm of beauty, fashion, and modeling, Vandebosch has definitely got it going on. Let's learn a little bit more about Gordon's other half.
Originally born in Belgium, Ingrid Vandebosch started her modeling career by the time she was 16. It only took around a year before she was discovered by agents from Paris, which initiated her move over there. She stayed in Paris for the next seven years and worked on a variety of projects for Christian Dior perfumes. Additionally, she appeared in tons of different magazines including Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, and Glamour. In 1990, Vandebosch won the Elite Look of the Year Award.
It was at this time that she made the big move to New York City to pursue opportunities with modeling and film. It paid off well for her because she landed movie roles in Going Greek, Taxi, and The Insider. She later became the face of a cosmetics line, Artistry. She also had her own line of lingerie as well, which saw great success. By 2008, Vandebosch even had the honor of being featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Back in 2002, Jeff and Ingrid were first introduced thanks to a mutual friend that they had, but they didn't actually start dating until just over two years later. Once they were finally together, love was in the air. By 2006, they announced their engagement and the wedding involved a private ceremony in Mexico. A year later, Ingrid gave birth to their first daughter, Ella Sofia, and the following year their son Leo Benjamin was born. They've been one happy family ever since.

Ginger Beer vs. Ginger Ale: The Real Difference Between the Two
Ginger beer vs ginger ale. Are they different? Yes! Like most soft drinks, ginger ale is created using soda water and ginger flavor. On the other hand, ginger beer is created in the same process as traditional alcoholic beers by fermenting sugar, real ginger, and water. The carbonation is a byproduct of the brewing process, turning ginger beer into a carbonated beverage. And get this, non-alcoholic ginger beer does actually contain a little bit of alcohol, but it is so little alcohol content, the FDA regulates it as a non-alcoholic beverage.
Ginger beer itself originated in England and was brewed with a starter culture called the ginger beer plant. Not really a plant, this group of grains was the base of ginger beer. Today however most commercial ginger beers are fermented with champagne yeast.
Our favorite ginger beer brands to mix in a Moscow Mule include: Fever-Tree Premium Ginger Beer, Reed's Extra Ginger Brew Ginger Beer, Barritt's Original Ginger Beer, and Bundaberg Ginger Beer
Ginger ale on the other hand is a soda and can help relieve a stomach ache. Our favorite ginger ale brands to use as a cocktail mixer include Vernor's Ginger Ale, Seagram's Ginger Ale, and Schweppes Ginger Ale.

How Allen Iverson Secured a Huge Lifetime Deal
Allen Iverson is one of the most dynamic players in National Basketball Association history. His ball-handling skills put defenders on skates, and he could score at will.
Iverson enjoyed a 14-year career and is regarded as one of the best point guards ever. He won scoring titles, egregiously stepped over opponents after breaking their ankles, and even crossed Michael Jordan.
The Answer brought swagger and personality to the game. He was unapologetically himself on and off the court, which led to controversy at times. However, Iverson’s attitude was admirable. He never backed down from a challenge and left his guts on the court.
Allen Ezail Iverson was born on June 7, 1975, in Hampton, Virginia. He attended Bethel High School where he excelled in football and basketball. On the gridiron, Iverson played quarterback, running back, kick returner, and defensive back.
On the hardwood, he played point guard and shooting guard. AI led both teams to Virginia State Championships as a junior, earning him the AP High School Player of the Year in both sports. He also played summer basketball for the Boo Williams AAU team and won the 1992 17U AAU National Championship.
No. 3 went on to play college basketball at Georgetown University.
Iverson’s basketball career isn’t justified by solely numbers. He put on a show and sparked “ooohs” from crowds and audiences on ESPN. It’s not a stretch to say AI is one of the most important basketball players of the 90s and 2000s.
NBA Career Highlights:
— First-Overall Pick in 1996 NBA Draft
— 11-Time NBA All-Star
— 2x NBA All-Star Game MVP
— 3x All-NBA First Team
— 3x All-NBA Second Team
— All-NBA Third Team (2006)
— NBA Rookie of the Year (1997)
— NBA All-Rookie First Team (1997)
— NBA Rookie Game MVP (1997)
— 4x NBA Scoring Champion
— 3x NBA Steals Leader
— No. 3 Retired by Philadelphia 76ers
The Most Valuable Player's career peak was leading the Sixers through the 2001 playoffs all the way to the NBA Finals against Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Philly fell in five games. Iverson was the postseason's top scorer with 723 points.
Iverson also played for the United States Men's National basketball team. He won a gold medal at the 1995 World University Games in Japan alongside Ray Allen and Tim Duncan.
In 2003, he played for Team USA in the FIBA Americans Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico and won gold. The NBA superstar also represented the United States in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where the U.S. earned a bronze medal.
AI was inducted to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
Over the course of his 14-year career, the professional basketball player earned an estimated $154,770,868 with four teams, per Spotrac.
He played 10-plus seasons with the Sixers, where he earned an average salary of $9,266,244. In two seasons with the Denver Nuggets, he earned an average of $18,098,438. The star point guard's biggest payday came in his lone season with the Detroit Pistons in 2008, when he earned $20,840,625. Iverson started the 2009-10 season — his final season — with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Iverson earned $437,609 with the team but had a mutual parting after only playing three games and disagreements about coming off the bench. The 2001 NBA MVP then returned to the Sixers. He played 25 games for Philly but left the team in February 2010 for personal reasons. He earned $1,029,794 in his final year.
Iverson was one of the top-10 highest-paid NBA players from 2004-2009.
Despite his earnings, Allen Iverson's net worth is estimated at $1 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
The former Sixer relished in a lavish lifestyle throughout his career. It eventually caught up to him, and in 2012 his financial situation surfaced when a judge ordered him to pay $900,000 to a Georgia jeweler. Iverson revealed he didn't have enough in his bank account to complete the payment.
Lucky for Iverson, he signed a lifetime endorsement deal with Reebok in 2001 that pays $800,000 per year. Additionally, the shoe company set aside a $32 million trust fund for Iverson that he won't be able to access until he turns 55 in 2030.
AI's game was something else, but the way he played with his heart on his sleeve is legendary.

Tom Cruise is Obsessed with Motorcycles
You know Tom Cruise. Well, you may not know him personally, but surely you're aware of him from that one movie? The one where he feels a need for speed? Ok, what about the films in the Mission Impossible franchise? Knight and Day? Oblivion? Risky Business? Surely this is ringing a bell.
Those who are familiar with Tom Cruise's portfolio will know that he likes to perform his own stunts, particularly ultra-daring motorcycle stunts. Therefore, it's not shocking at all to learn that he has an impeccable collection of personal motorcycles.
Here are a few of the most notable motorcycles that the Hollywood daredevil has ridden. From his own personal collection to the bikes that he hand picks to be in movies with him, it's clear that Tom Cruise has impeccable taste in motorcycles.
When your net worth is somewhere around $480 million, you can afford to buy yourself a nice birthday present. At least, that appears to be the case with the nearly $104,000 Vyrus 987 C3 4V Tom rode for his 51st birthday in 2013.
Terms like "most powerful" and "most expensive" are associated with the production motorcycle, but of course, most records were made to be broken. Hailing from Italy, the Vyrus 987 C3 4V has a 1.2L engine that is able to hit 209 miles per hour. Given its lightweight frame, that should satisfy most people's need for speed.
There are at least two Ducati motorcycles associated with Hollywood legend Tom Cruise. There's the grey Ducati 999R he gifted himself for his 46th birthday. Only 200 of this model were produced, making it a truly special present, indeed. That makes it horrifying on many levels to note that the Ducati 999R was the bike he almost wrapped around a tree in Los Angeles.
Then there's the Ducati Desmosedici RR. Again, a limited edition, with only 1,000 of this bike produced. Cruise generously took Knight and Day co-star Cameron Diaz for a ride on his Desmosedici RR during filming. Considering this bike costs around $72,500 and can easily hit 200 miles per hour, that must have been an impressive Sunday drive.
In the first Top Gun film, Tom Cruise was seen riding around on mesmerizing Kawasaki GPZ900r. In true Cruise fashion, he performed his own motorcycle stunts, including racing a fighter jet. At the time, this was the first and only bike to cross the 150mph threshold, so this isn't necessarily as irrational as it may seem, though it's probably not something most riders need to try. You'll at least have to sign a waiver.
Though early reports indicated the Kawasaki GPZ900r was coming back for Top Gun 2: Maverick, early press indicates that the role of Tom Cruises's super-sweet bike will be played by a Kawasaki Ninja H2R. This is the track-ready version of Kawasaki's Ninja H2, and yes, it's the one that casually zoomed up to 248 miles per hour in just 26 seconds. Definitely fighter jet racing material for the new millennium.
Tom Cruise doesn't necessarily own every bike he has ever ridden in the Mission Impossible movie series, but popular legend has it that he had input into which motorcycles made it onscreen. It stands to reason that doing your own stunts gives you that kind of privilege.
In Mission Impossible 2, Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise, of course) tools around on a 1999 Triumph Speed Triple. This was The Sports Bike to have in the 1990s. Not only could it speed around at over 140 miles per hour, it was actually designed with the rider in mind. You might not immediately think "road trip" while watching Cruise leave the bad guy on the Daytona in the dust, but the idea isn't... impossible.
The next installment in the franchise, Mission Impossible 3, starred a Triumph Bonneville Scrambler. This bike was custom-built for the movie, and allegedly auctioned off afterwards. You'll notice this bike is a bit more rugged, compared to the other bikes. The chrome. The vintage styling. It's essentially made to be stared at.
Honorable Mention goes the Confederate Hellcat Tom Cruise rode to the premiere of Mission Impossible 3. In keeping with the "rugged and manly" theme, this 121 horsepower, 140 lb/ft torque bike is a force to be reckoned with, and has gained the stamp of approval from another Hollywood fan, Brad Pitt.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is the fifth installment in the Impossible Film series, and the black BMW S1000 RR. This is definitely back on track with the racing bikes, as the BMW S1000 RR was international speed superstar Michael Dunlop's ride for many a road race.
If you haven't seen Mission Impossible: Fallout, you don't want to know what happens to the BMW R nine T Scrambler. When you do watch it, just remember that not everything in the movies is real. The BMW R nine T Scrambler is absolutely real; in fact, with a starting price just around $14,000, you can custom design your own.
So what kind of motorcycles can we expect in Mission Impossible 7? Director Christopher McQuarrie has teased a few photos of a motorcycle jump, and a lot of things flying through the air independently off a cliff, but sadly, the teaser is just that. More details will surely follow.
In the meantime, we can expect Tom Cruise to continue to choose the best, the most powerful, and naturally the most expensive motorcycles for himself, Maverick, and Ethan Hunt. And once our collective jealousy subsides, maybe we can get organized and start writing up that bucket list of bikes to try.

Remembering the Late Sabine Schmitz
Terrible news was released this month informing the public that German racing driver Sabine Schmitz, also known as "Queen of the Nürburgring" had passed at age 51 following a long battle with cancer. Her charismatic personality could light up a room, and the world got to see that charm on many occasions being featured on the BBC show, as a Top Gear.
Originally from Germany, Sabine was much more than just a pretty face. She had raw talent, and quickly made a statement on the race track before she even got involved with television. Her talent eventually led to her becoming a professional motorsports driver on both the BMW and Porsche racing teams. She spent so much time at the track that she eventually became one of the best and most famous female racing drivers in Germany.
Considering recent events, it's only appropriate to look back on some of her racing accomplishments and appreciate what the racecar driver was able to do over the years. From racing to television, Sabine Schmitz undoubtedly left her impact on the world.
Sabine initially got her passion for racing as she took the family car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Both of her sisters also started racing, but Sabine was the only one to truly see some success in it. For both 1996 and 1997, she won the 24-Hour race at the Nürburgring using a BMW M3, and in the following year, she took home the VLN endurance racing championship win. Close to a decade later, she switched to using a Porsche 997 for the endurance racing.
One of the things that Sabine became most known for was being the fastest taxi driver on the race track. She was seen skillfully driving the BMW M5 ring taxi around the Nürburgring, and it drew lots of attention. Following this, she was essentially paid to bring people along in the taxi to show them the proper racing lines, and scare the absolute s*** out of them. Sabine had also stated that she had put down more than 20,000 laps at the track throughout her lifetime. It's understandable that she had it completely mastered.
Her talent on the Nürburgring granted her success in many ways. She created her own company, Sabine Schmitz Motorsport, which offers advanced driver training, and a ring taxi service for those passengers looking for a fun time. 2011 was the last year Sabine herself drove the ring taxi. Her popularity also led to an introduction into television. She became a motorsports guest commentator at first, then transitioned to co-host German show, D Motor. Following this, she was featured on her first British program, Jeremy Clarkson: Meets the Neighbours, where she took him for a ride around the race track. I think we all know where her television career led after this.
Sabine created countless memories for herself and so many others as she spent her time on Top Gear, and the Nürburgring. Her bubbly personality was perfect for television, and luckily, her spirit was perfectly captured anytime she was in front of a camera. She will be truly missed, and I wholeheartedly can say that she made a positive impact on the world. Rest in peace Sabine Schmitz.

Legendary Host Johnny Carson Had a Secretive and Stormy Love Life
With his effortless charm and scrubbed Midwestern good looks, TV host Johnny Carson enchanted American television audiences for 30 years on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The NBC late-night talk show ran from 1962 to 1992, receiving six Emmy Awards as well as the Television Academy’s Governor’s Award in 1980 and a Peabody Award in 1985.
Often hailed as the “king of late-night“, Carson reigned as one of the most influential entertainers in show business (remember the time he caused the toilet paper shortage of 1973?) But for all the fame and glory of his on-screen persona, the talk show host was notoriously secretive with his personal life.
The television host attributed his marital woes to his mom, Ruth Carson. “She’s the toughest son of a bitch of them all,” Carson reportedly once said of his mother. “There is no goddamn way to please that woman. She’s Lady Macbeth! My marriages failed because she f – – – ed me up!”
Whether or not his mother was to blame, Carson did have a tumultuous love life, undergoing three marriages troubled by conflict and infidelity (plus one that ended happily). Here’s the run-down on all four: Carson married Jody Wolcott, his first wife, in 1948. The couple had three sons: Christopher, Cory, and Richard. Their relationship was notoriously troubled and marred by abuse and infidelity. Jody filed for divorce in 1959.
Within months after Carson and his first ex-wife divorced in 1963, the talk show host married his second wife, a model named Joanne Copeland.
While they were married, Joanne reportedly had an affair with Frank Gifford. When Johnny found out, he famously went on a drinking bender with his co-host Ed McMahon. The marriage between Johnny and Joanne Carson lasted a little over a decade and ended with a similarly contentious divorce. That same year, Carson married former model Joanna Holland in a surprise wedding. Carson and Joanna were together for 11 years before their divorce in 1983.
Carson was single from 1983 to 1987 before marrying his fourth wife, Alexis Maas, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native and former stock brokerage employee. The couple lived a luxurious Hollywood lifestyle in several massive homes, including a 16-bedroom oceanfront mansion in Malibu and another mansion in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, California.
Alexis and the NBC host remained together until Carson’s passing at age 79 in 2005. Family members reported that his death was due to respiratory failure caused by emphysema.
After her husband’s death, Alexis has remained largely out of the spotlight. Her most recent appearance was in the documentary, Johnny Carson: King of Late Night.

Robert De Niro Would Disown His Children if They ‘Acted Like Trump’s Kids’
Shots have been fired by Robert De Niro. Safe to say the actor has never been shy about sharing his, let’s call it just dislike, for former president Donald Trump. In a shocking wide-eyed moment, while on the set of ABC’s The View, he had quite a lot to say about Trump, reserving his sharpest criticism for Trump's adult children.
Before he could get to his native film, The Irishman, De Niro drove straight into a conversation about the impeachment situation going on. He stated, “No matter what happens, which we know probably in the Senate he won’t get convicted or whatever, but we have to do this. We have to go through the motions. Symbolically, it means something. It’s a taint on his presidency, more than a taint. It’s a stain, one that he deeply deserves.”
The topic of Trump’s children quickly came to light after Joy Behar stated De Niro once said the Trumps act like a mob family. That’s when the Hollywood actor shot up, stating, “I don’t want my kids to take this the wrong way, but if my kids did what these kids did, I wouldn’t want to be related to them. I would disown them.” His heavy comment left several viewers and audience members shocked, prompting loud gasps behind the cameras.
De Niro did say it was impossible for his kids to be like the Trumps since they do not act the way they do but went to imply that they have disagreements regarding how strong the Meet the Parents actor feels about Trump’s presidency. He also stated he believed that Trump was worse than any character he has played in a movie. Let’s not forget this man played a spree killer in Taxi Driver and a young, murderous mob boss in the Godfather series.
So, I guess you can say that De Niro has some real hatred for Donald Trump. A bold comment to say on live TV if you ask me. I’m sure he’ll get a few angry viewers for it. If only the camera was pointed to Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain. That would have been something to see.

5 Great Picks for Your First Handgun
Buying your first handgun can be overwhelming and downright confusing. We have decided to break down our top five picks for the best all around first guns.
We are presenting this list in countdown order, and we're going to start from the bottom. They are all 9mms. We know that's a smaller caliber for self-defense, but that's for a good reason.
While you might beat your chest about how larger calibers like .357 Magnum or 10mm are far superior, good luck finding ammo. I want the odds of any ammo I find fitting my gun to be high, and with 9mm they will be. And I love .45 ACP as much as anyone, but it's heavy and bulky in addition to less available and more expensive. There's less felt recoil, but it's negligible. It's a simple cost/benefit decision.

Who Plays Beth Dutton on 'Yellowstone'? Kelly Reilly Brings the Series' Toughest Character to Life
Kelly Reilly is currently in her third season playing Beth Dutton on the Paramount Network's hit western series, Yellowstone. But did you know that Reilly, who looks right at home riding a horse in the wild west, is actually British?
Growing up in London, Reilly actually got her first professional acting role after writing to ask for work. The Helen Mirren British television drama, Prime Suspect, actually called her in and she appeared in a 1995 episode. Over the next few years, Reilly appeared in various stage productions before she started making her way back in front of the camera.
Reilly played the role of Wendy in the French comedy film opposite Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris, L'Auberge espagnole, a role which earned her Best Newcomer Award at the Cannes Film Festival. She also appeared in its two follow-up films -- Les Poupées russes (The Russian Dolls) and Casse-tête chinois, and had a supporting role in Mrs. Henderson Presents. But American fans probably first remember Reilly for her role as Caroline Bingley in Pride & Prejudice starring Keira Knightley, Me and Orson Welles with Zac Efron, or playing Mary Watson in Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Those supporting roles lead to leading roles in the Robert Zemeckis film Flight with Denzel Washington as well as Heaven is for Real with Greg Kinnear.
But the English actress showed that she had the acting chops for American TV. She briefly led her own ABC drama, Black Box, before playing Vince Vaughn's wife in the second season of HBO's True Detective. Reilly also appeared on Broadway opposite Clive Owen in Old Times, before landing the role of Celtic Queen Kerra in the Amazon TV show Britannia, which lasted for two seasons.
But after Britannia, Reilly was cast in the leading female role on the Kevin Costner lead Yellowstone. She plays the daughter of John Dutton (Costner) alongside Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, and Gil Birmingham. The role of Beth really lets Reilly shine because Beth is one tough cookie. She's also emotionally unstable and has a substance abuse problem, so it required an actress with a lot of range.
"She’s probably the most self-loathing character that I’ve ever played, Reilly told Parade.
"But she outsources her pain like no other I’ve ever read. If I could akin her to anything, she’s like some Shakespearean or Greek Tragedy character, like some goddess of war or something. It’s like she’s turned all that pain into darkness, so that’s who she is."
Beth is an incredibly complex career and at times, makes some unlikeable choices. But that's part of what Reilly loves about playing her.
"I love her mind," Reilly told CinemaBlend.
"I love her intelligence. I love her fierceness. She’s a warrior...Like I trust, taking Beth so far into unlikability because I know I’m going to be held in [Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan]'s respect for her as a character. As he does with all of them. There’s a messiness and forwardness to each of them, and also just a deep underlying vulnerability to her that I don’t necessarily play too often."
Yellowstone season 3 is currently on the air but its already been renewed for a fourth season. We can't wait to see what's in store of Beth and the rest of the Dutton clan.

How to Find Homesteading Land
The days of the Wild West are over, but if you know how to find homesteading land, you can still own your own land for little to no cost.
When you first hear the word homestead, you probably think of the Wild West. Most people associate the word with the Homestead Act of 1862, a land program that gave potential farmers 160 acres of free lots as long as they were willing to work and live on the land.
While the offer of 160 acres of free land has long since passed, if you know how to find homestead land, you can still come out with a small farm or ranch setup, even today.

What Happened to Kurt Busch’s Fraudster Ex-Girlfriend?
Back in the day, NASCAR driver Kurt Busch was known as "The Outlaw," a nickname that showcased his bad-boy reputation on and off the track. The 2004 NASCAR Cup Series champ has since dropped the problematic nickname, but, as it turns out, it was Busch's ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, who was the real outlaw all along.
In September 2019, Driscoll was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for stealing money from the Armed Forces Foundation, a non-profit veterans charity designed to help military families. Driscoll's personal life was just as messy as her professional one, as her relationship with Busch ended in her levying domestic violence allegations against him. Busch pushed back against these allegations, even going so far as to accuse Driscoll of being a trained assassin.
Patricia Driscoll started dating Kurt Busch in 2011, when her son Houston, from a previous relationship, was six years old. The two met at Walter Reed Hospital in Maryland, and at the time, Driscoll called Busch "the love of her life."
Unfortunately, things would eventually take a turn for the messy. On November 7, 2014, Busch was investigated for domestic abuse for a September 26 incident at Dover International Speedway. Driscoll alleged that Busch had slammed her head against the wall inside the couple's motorhome. From February 20, 2015 to March 11, Busch was suspended by NASCAR. In the end, there was not enough evidence to bring criminal charges against Busch. However, while testifying in court over Driscoll's request for a restraining order, Busch brought some pretty startling accusations of his own against Driscoll.
Remember that whole assassin thing we brought up earlier? Yeah, that wasn't a joke. Busch actually claimed, in court, that he believed Driscoll was a trained assassin, even going as far to say that she once showed up wearing an evening gown covered in blood. According to Busch, Driscoll bragged about taking down foreign governments and about being the inspiration for a female character in Zero Dark Thirty, the 2012 movie about the assassination of Osama bin Laden.
"Everybody on the outside can tell me I'm crazy, but I lived on the inside and saw it firsthand," Busch said at the time.
Of course, Driscoll vehemently denied the assassin accusations and nothing ever came of them. A few years later, however, she'd have some very real criminal charges to deal with.
On November 29, 2018, Patricia Driscoll was found guilty on two counts of wire fraud charges and tax evasion charges and one count of first-degree fraud by a federal jury in Washington, D.C. During her time as former executive director of the Armed Forces Foundation, Driscoll stole nearly $1 million, which she spent on jewelry, shopping trips, and other business ventures and personal expenses.
On top of her year-and-one-day prison sentence that was handed down on September 12, 2019, Driscoll was also ordered to serve 36 months supervised release, a period of home confinement, and 360 hours of community service. She also had to pay $154,289 in restitution and $81,779 in a money judgment forfeiture.
We guess that's what the outlaw life gets you.

Who is Roger Goodell’s Wife?
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell isn't the most popular individual among fans and even some NFL players and head coaches, often being met with a chorus of boos while appearing at games, including the Super Bowl, or announcing picks at the NFL Draft.
While the Commissioner isn't beloved among many fans of the league, he has a staggering net worth and all the support he needs from his family, most notably his wife, Jane Skinner Goodell.
Roger Goodell has been married to Jane Skinner since 1997 and together the couple have twin daughters who were born in 2001. The Goodell clan resides in Westchester, New York, nearby where Goodell grew up in Bronxville.
Skinner was raised by a wealthy family in Lake Forest, Illinois, and attended Lake Forest High School. Her father served as Secretary of Transportation and White House Chief of Staff under President George H.W. Bush.
Similarly, Goodell's own father, Charles Goodell, was a U.S. congressman and senator.
Skinner herself is a former media member who spent 12 years working for Fox News. She spent time as a news anchor for the network and hosted the show "Happening Now" alongside Jon Scott, as well as "Sunday Best."
Prior to working at Fox, she got her start in the industry in Duluth, Minnesota, where she was a political correspondent for the KBJR television station. She retired in 2001 to take care of her daughters.
Skinner came under fire in 2017 after The Wall Street Journal reported on an anonymous Twitter account under the pseudonym Jones Smith (@forargument), which frequently clapped back at those slandering Goodell on the platform.
It turned out the fake Twitter account was actually run by Roger Goodell's wife Jane Skinner, who admitted to the WSJ that she acted out of love in order to defend her harshly scrutinized husband.
"I'm always bothered when the coverage doesn't provide a complete and accurate picture of a story," Skinner told Sports Illustrated.
The social media account has since been deleted, but one tweet while the account was active responded critically to an ESPN article about the National Anthem protests, writing, "Reads like press release from players' union. You can do better reporting."
Skinner's faux Twitter account also responded to similar critical comments from notable accounts such as NBC's Pro Football Talk. It's certainly not easy being the wife of the commissioner of the National Football League, but her actions on Twitter certainly didn't help ease the criticism of her husband.
Skinner seems to have cooled her jets on coming to the defense of Goodell since the Twitter incident went public, but you can bet your bottom dollar that she'd stand up for him again if need be.

Sylvester Stallone was Sent to the ICU While Filming "Rocky IV"
There are moments when creating movie magic puts an immense real-life strain on actors’ bodies—like Jared Leto’s dramatic changes in weight between roles or the time Brad Pitt tore his Achilles heel playing Achilles. But one of the most dramatic instances of real pain onset occurred during Rocky IV when a heavyweight blow from Dolph Lungren sent Sylvester Stallone to the ICU.
There are moments when creating movie magic puts an immense real-life strain on actors’ bodies—like Jared Leto’s dramatic changes in weight between roles or the time Brad Pitt tore his Achilles heel playing Achilles. But one of the most dramatic instances of real pain onset occurred during Rocky IV when a heavyweight blow from Dolph Lundgren sent Sylvester Stallone to the ICU.
It was his co-star’s uppercut, Stallone later realized, that put him in intensive care. Initially feeling fine, it wasn’t until that night that Stallone began to feel something was wrong. At the hospital, doctors informed him that his heart had collided against his ribs—an injury typical of head-on vehicular collisions. Reflecting on the Swede’s size, Stallone joked that he’d “hit a bus, of sorts.”
In the later interview, Lundgren joked that he was just following orders. “He was the boss. I did what he told me. We came back to Los Angeles and the producer was like, ‘Hey Dolph, you’ve got two weeks off — Sly’s in the hospital.'”
Stallone would, of course, eventually recover and go on to have a fruitful career. Younger Netflix watchers might better recognize him from The Expendables or Disney’s Marvel movies. Stallone made his MCU debut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as Stakar Ogord. Or they might know him from his trending friendly jabs at Arnold Schwarzenegger on Instagram— where he also gave a sneak peek of the upcoming director’s cut of Rocky IV.
