Full body workout
When you're starting out, it can be confusing to know where to begin. You've got to do the right type, amount and intensity of exercise for you. This might vary from person to person, based on their diagnosis and health conditions, existing fitness levels, the amount of exercise they're already doing, what treatment they're on or have had and the side-effects they're experiencing. The exercise prescription should be uniquely tailored for each person and may change as they go through the different stages of cancer treatment; pre, during and post-treatment.
A personal trainer who work on Trekstock's RENEW programme, will be able to tailor your workouts to your needs and your health and fitness goals. You should always speak with your oncologist or doctor before beginning a new exercise programme

Yoga for Beginners for full body
Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India. First codified by the sage Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras around 400 C.E, the practice was in fact handed down from teacher to student long before this text arose. Traditionally, this was a one-to-one transmission, but since yoga became popular in the West in the 20th century, group classes have become the norm.
The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness. Such a union tends to neutralize ego-driven thoughts and behaviours, creating a sense of spiritual awakening.
Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years, and whilst many different interpretations and styles have been developed, most tend to agree that the ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve liberation from suffering. Although each school or tradition of yoga has its own emphasis and practices, most focus on bringing together body, mind and breath as a means of altering energy or shifting consciousness.

New Funny Slips and falls compilation
The truth is it takes discipline not to go down those negative rabbit holes and a commitment to being playful helps a lot! We need to be willing to play rather than get bogged down by life‘s heaviness.
Humor is a way to strengthen your relationship. In challenging moments, humor can help you find a silver lining and transform painful situations. What if you could find ways to laugh and play together and write a tough narrative in a positive light?
Bring Humor
One Rare mother described how she brings humor in as she cheers her Rare child on saying, “Bend your knees Barbie!“ The reality is that these differently-abled kids are round holes in square pegs and it’s inevitable that they will fail. How can you shift the feeling of failure into one of growth?
Humor makes you feel more buoyant and if you bring humor into your own head, it can override the voice of the inner critic.
Include Everything
It has been said that there’s room for sorrow in a house of joy and there is room for joy in a house of sorrow. Consider how you can bring more joy into your life?
How can you include “the bothness of joy and sorrow? Change your self-talk, get regular exercise, sleep, meditate and laugh a lot. They say that “laughter is better than kale” and kale is good stuff.
Laughter makes us vulnerable and creates space for you to accept the things that are hard to accept. It breaks up the crustiness and sometimes it makes room for you to cry. Have you ever noticed how you can laugh and cry at the same time?
I invite you to set the intention to bring more humor into your life. Decrease the seriousness and increase the silliness. Laughter increases your capacity to live fully.
Coming up this week: Unconditional Acceptance
Mutual acceptance creates safety in relationships. As a Rare Mother, you have had a lot of practice accepting the things that you cannot change or are not as you would like them to be. What if you were to offer that same flavor of acceptance to the people in your life? What would change? Come and share your experience with other Rare mothers in our community of amazing, wise women.
