CLASSIC CHICKEN CHOW MEIN NOODLES WITH BEST HOMEMADE CHOW MEIN SAUCE.
Ingredients
FOR CHOW MEIN SAUCE;
Oyster sauce : 2 tbsp
Dark soy sauce : 2 tbsp
Sesame oil : 1 tsp
Black Pepper : 1 tsp
Sugar : 1 1/2 tsp
White vinegar : 1 1/2 tbsp
Chilli sauce : 1 tbsp
Chopped garlic : cloves 3-4
FOR CHICKEN MARINATION ;
Chicken Breast : 450g cut into slices
Egg noodles : 250g 1 Packet ( boiled on packet instructions)
Dark soy sauce : 1 tbsp
White pepper : 1/4 tsp
Baking soda : 2 tsp
Corn flour : 1 tbsp
Salt : 1 tsp
Egg White : 1
Garlic powder : 1 tsp
Oil : 4-5 tbsp
VEGETABLES ;
Oil : 2-3 tbsp ( for stir fry )
Onion : 1 small sliced
Carrots : 1 medium cut into julienne
Cabbage : 1 1/2 cup shredded
Spring onion : 4-5 cut into halves
Chicken Broth : 2/3 cup. (150 ml )
METHOD
STEP : 1
For egg noodles , follow the packet instructions.
Put them in cold water to stop the process of cooking. Drain water. Spread the noodles on baking sheet dry until ready to use. Stir fry noodles for few seconds, before adding in chicken and vegetables.
STEP : 1
In a bowl marinade chicken with all above ingredients. Rest for 15 minutes.
STEP : 2
Prepare chow mein sauce with all above ingredients in a separate bowl and Set aside.
STEP : 3
On high flame, preheated pan add 4-5 tbsp oil , add chicken quickly stir fry chicken until cooked. Remove and set aside.
STEP : 4
In a same pan , add oil and vegetables. Quickly sauté for 30- 40 seconds. Meanwhile add chicken and chow mein sauce and chicken broth and noodles mix well and turn off the flame. Serve & . ENJOY ♥️

Pork Tenderloin
Mushroom 🍄
Lettuce
Garlic 🧄
Onion
Kimchi🌶 (King Chef Brands)
Sesame oil
Ssamjang sauce🫕(Chung Jung One Brands)
Salt/Pepper 🧂
Pickled Radish
Pickled radish ingredients
1 radish
1 cup vinegar/distilled vinegar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups water
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1. Bring water, sugar, vinegar and salt to a boil until the ingredients dissolve together. Then turn off the stove and take it out to cool down.
2. Peel the radishes and wash them thoroughly. Then use tissue paper for cooking and blot the water dry.
3. Cut the radishes into thin slices. Or into cubes, the size you like, but we recommend that you don't cut the pieces too thick.
4. Place the radishes in a glass jar. Then add the marinade that we mixed in. (Should not be put in a plastic bottle because vinegar is acidic.
5. Place the mixture in the refrigerator. Leave for at least 2 days and ready to eat.
