Airline captain forgets her flight number
Returning from his honeymoon vacation in Cancun, Mexico, the fellow whom recorded this footage was enduring a multi stop flight back home. After boarding the plane in Los Angeles, California en-route back to Vancouver,British Columbia, Brent was relaxing while watching the rest of the passengers board. Sitting in the perfect location to watch the pre-flight chatter of the pilot and first officer, Brent could see and hear much of their conversation. After comparing photos on their iPads, the Captain made her way out to the aisle to brief the passengers regarding their flight path, altitude and weather that would be expected along the way and back in Vancouver.
As we all know, pilots have to retain a lot of information during the planning and duration of their flight. This very experienced pilot seemed to have a momentary memory lapse as she stumbled when trying to recall the flight number of this exact flight, but she did make note she was definitely aware of where the flight was heading. Hearing the chuckles of the passengers you can tell that everyone found it quite funny how the Captain handled her moment of forgetfulness. Brent mentioned "all in all his flight from Los Angeles to Vancouver was amazing". "The skill of the Captain showed with a perfectly smooth landing", he mentioned. The relaxing flight for a great return home after a wonderful vacation and honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Huge Iguana Mistakes Pool Tile As A Snack
Enjoying a vacation in sunny Riviera Maya, Mexico near Playa Del Carmen for his honeymoon, Brent wandered the resort. Looking for some great video footage of the areas wildlife that inhabits the resort "jungle", Brent came across two beautiful iguana near the pool. The iguanas are usually vegetarians, but will at times eat meat if needed. Noticing two quite large iguana beside the pool, Brent set up his GoPro, to record some close up footage of these gorgeous creatures. Thinking he needed something to attract the iguana, Brent noticed someone had left a chicken morsel near by. Placing the chicken nugget in front of his camera, Brent then waited as the iguana began approaching, knowing he was getting some amazing close up footage of these animals. Brent also noticed that there were some small pool tiles placed on the edge of the pool deck. Apparently someone had found these small tiles on the bottom of the pool which had fallen off the pool wall. Placing them on the pool deck did not seem to be an issue, until after the first iguana enjoyed the chicken nugget Brent had used to attract him close to the camera. Once the first iguana gobbled up the chicken morsel, Brent noticed the second iguana moving closer. No sooner than approaching the camera, the iguana spotted the bright blue ceramic tile. This must have looked like a nice blue berry because right away, the iguana went directly for the blue tile. Before being able to distract the iguana in order to move the tile, the iguana gobbled it up. Looking ahead of where the iguana was, Brent noticed more tiles stacked along the pool edge. Instantly Brent walked forward and gathered up the small stack of pool tiles before this iguana or any other would be able to eat them. Hopefully the iguana was able to excrete the tile and not be affected by this. It sure shows that we all need to be aware of safety for wildlife that may be in our surroundings when we inhabit their natural habitats.

Adorable Kitten Walks The Tightwire
Kittens are known for getting into mischief. Sheldons kitten Pumpkin definitely fits into this category with no doubt. Living on a small hobby farm in British Columbia is a very rewarding life style Sheldon mentioned. Having goats, chickens, horses, geese and of course a number of cats makes for some very interesting days sitting out back enjoying the summer sun. Sheldon explains" I am not the one with the green thumb whom created this beautiful garden, it was my wife,. I tend to look after the animals, or should I say the cleaning up after them, she keeps the table full of veggies in an amazing way". Also having two children," the farm life is great for them" Sheldon mentions, " it gives them roots and teaches them how to look after and raise animals and other things such as natural fruits and vegetables that we all need in life". Aside from chores, the children love playing with the tiny kitties. As mentioned, kittens love to get into things. In this video Sheldon was able to capture Pumpkin trying his hardest to stay clear of the goats, while not fall into the vegetable garden. Pumpkin specifically was working on his balancing skills while exploring the wire fence which of course keeps the goats from eating every bit of foliage in sight. Farm life is something every child is blessed with to have been able to experience.

Needy dog demands attention from busy owner
Poncho is a 13 year old rescue dog from Riviera Maya, Mexico. She was found by Brent’s young son and daughter at the time that Poncho was a very young puppy. When Brent’s children found Poncho, they were 16 and 12 years of age having an amazing Christmas vacation in Mexico. Poncho has always been a very protective dog of her family and space, making it known if anyone happened to be coming within her yard or even walking near her home. She is also a very needy pooch, in a loving way, always wanting attention. Like most pets, Poncho loves to get all the love and attention, to be scratched and petted whenever possible.
One Sunday morning, Brent as a video creator, was working on a new short video for Rumble before anyone else in the house had woken. Well, Poncho was the only one awake, and she wanted her owners attention. Pacing around and around the kitchen area where Brent was working, Poncho continually kept nudging his arm to make sure he knew she was near. Of course Brent knew Poncho was there, he is always aware where his best pooch is, specially during the early mornings.
No matter where Brent may be sitting at home, Poncho always seems to have her eye on him. When Brent sits at the kitchen table, she will be in a nearby chair with her eyes focused on him, even in between her short few minute naps. When he relaxes on the sofa, Poncho feels she has to lay across his lap, just to make sure he knows where she is. Like most dog owners will say, their pups love to follow them around no matter what they are doing. It may be cutting the grass, yes Poncho follows Brent around the yard. It may also be while doing laundry, and yes Poncho has to be near while laundry is being done as well. No matter what it may be, Poncho definitely shows her love for Brent. Of course the magic word W.A.L.K turns Poncho into a roaring puppy, jumping and dancing around as though she was young, even at her amazingly young 13 years of age. She is for sure a lover not a fighter !

Family Of Goats Gather For a Thanksgiving Meal
Aldor Acres Family Farm is a great place to visit for some fun. This small family run farm has been in operation for thirty years. Starting in 1988 the Anderson Family opened their farm to the publicin Glen Valley, located 5kms east of Beautiful Fort Langley, British Columbia. The main crop on the farm is pumpkins, and that is where they say it all began. Owners and grandparents, Albert and Dorothy (Al-Dor) put a small sign and a jar at the end of the road back in 1988 and started selling pumpkins on the honour system. Little did they know, it would become a hit. Soon enough they were giving tractor-drawn hayrides out to the pumpkin patch and providing an educational, hands-on farm experience for guests. The farm is open to the public year round, with different activities for each season. Spring and summer offer farm tours, baby animals at Easter, and Farm Kid Camps. October brings 20 acres of pumpkin patches and 5 acres of petting zoos and animal displays. December welcomes Christmas Trees and roasting marshmallows around the campfire. How fun would it be to roast marshmallows on an open fire? That sounds familiar doesn’t it? On a recent visit, Sandy had some laughs watching a small group of goats enjoying a meal within the barn. Being near Canadian Thanksgiving, which is on October 14 this year, it seemed fitting this is what the goats were all gathering for. These goats are quite comical. “Some are very bossy” Sandy mentioned. Watching them slowly parade in for a snack was cute. Some would make room for the smaller goats while the big old bossy goat just wanted to head butt every goat that came near him. Seems he figured the rest of the herd was going to steal his share of hay. Aldor Acres is a great farm for kids and adults, bunnies, and of course kittens are throughout the area. Who doesn’t love kitties and baby bunnies. The family of Aldor Acres also offer birthday parties and farm tours so there is something for everyone. Make sure to visit if you are in the area. Aldor Acres is a short one hour drive from the city centre of Vancouver.

Giant Manta Ray swims right at side of boat
While vacationing in Riviera Maya, Mexico, friends from Vancouver, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario spent a day on a whale shark watching excursion. Whale sharks are only in this area of Cancun for a short period of a few months, from May through September so planning is key. Since the group was staying in a resort in Playa Del Carmen, they had to make their way to the ferry terminal in Cancun to transit over to a small island named Isla Mejores, a short 20-minute ride across the Caribbean Sea. Meeting up with their tour guide from Serious Diving they were soon on their way. Racing to nearly 20 miles offshore, that is where the fun began.
Searching the area for whale sharks was tough with an inexperienced eye, but the captain and crew were skilled. The whale sharks can grow to an immense 40 to 60 feet in length and weighing tons. On average an adult will be in the range of 20 to 30 feet in length and nearing 40 thousand pounds. These amazing creatures visit this location for a short season mainly because of food. Strong currents carry microorganisms as well as tuna eggs from a great distance, making for a feast for these massive animals. Since other filter feeder type animals also follow these same feeding rituals, this season brings with it other amazing animals. While waiting for more whale sharks to appear, a giant manta ray was noticed swimming directly at the groups' tour boat. Looking like 2 shark fins in the distance, it was soon noted those fins were not sharks, but a giant manta. The giant oceanic manta ray is a variety of ray in the family Mobulidae and the most extensive type of ray in the world. These giant rays as mentioned are also filter feeders, meaning they swim with mouths wide open, scooping up any small creatures and algae that are within the water being taken into their mouths. With wingspans ranging from 17 to 22 feet, these amazing animals are a joy to watch as they fly through the water with amazing grace.
As you will see, spotting this huge ray swimming right on the tour boat was very exciting. Watching him approach than ever so gracefully diving slightly to go beneath the boat made for a great experience. These waters off the coast of Cancun are generally crystal clear with visibility nearing 100 feet underwater. With all the plankton, tuna eggs, and other microorganisms in the waters at this time, you can see the visibility is greatly reduced. If you love the ocean and all it has to offer, take a trip to Isla Mujeres for an unbeatable excursion to swim with whale sharks, the largest fish in the sea, and giant mantas. Two incredibly large, harmless animals of our amazing ocean world.

200 Truck Convoy Makes Itself Heard In Support Of British Columbia Logging
Wednesday September 25th 2019 was a day to be reckoned for. British Columbia logging workers and truckers were out in full force to petition many changes being made within the logging industry by the government. A 200 truck convoy made its way from the central interior of British Columbia to downtown Vancouver’s convention centre. Many families that are involved in the logging and trucking industry were at the convention centre to support the workers that have all been affected by changes lately. B.C. has seen four mills permanently close in the Interior this year, putting as many as 700 workers out of a job. There have been a further 13 indefinite closures which has impacted an estimated 1,000 workers, as well as hundreds more impacted due to curtailments. Recently one large mill in Maple Ridge B.C has given its employees notice of closure. Interfor has announced that it plans to permanently close its Hammond Cedar Sawmill in Maple Ridge, B.C., by the end of the year. Hammond mill is the latest in a growing list of mill closures to hit the province amid an industry downturn. Stuey Wheeler, who’s family owns a Langley B.C based logging equipment company says industry slowdown could harm his business. Don whom recorded this footage mentioned that the convoy took nearly thirty minutes to pass the overpass he was parked upon. Don himself owns a hydraulic repair shop that also gains business from the logging industry. Many types of equipment in the forest used in harvesting and transporting logs are outfitted with hydraulic cylinders, pumps and hoses. Many of which Don’s company repairs and replaces daily. Tariffs have also been imposed which in themselves have affected the logging and softwood lumber industry in the last few years. About 100 trucks from the north, including Prince George, Quesnel, Williams Lake and 100 Mile House, were seen on the roads in 100 Mile, receiving honks of support and more trucks joined the convoy as they travel through rural communities impacted by mill curtailments and closures. The Rally to Vancouver truck protest, which was organized by Merritt B.C logger Howard McKimmon and others, is shedding light on the “industry in crisis” as mayors and MLAs from across the province converge in the Lower Mainland for its annual Union of BC Municipalities convention. With horns honking all the way along British Columbia’s Highway 1 and through the downtown core, it is sure that the truckers have been heard. Hopefully changes will be made for the good to help keep the logging industry alive in British Columbia. It is the bread and butter for many families thought B.C.

Deer teaches her fawn how to pick apples
It's really easy to forget that we are not the only living beings living on this planet. We're trapped in our concrete jungles, escaping the scorching heat and the freezing icy winters in the sanctity of our homes. The only contact with the outside world are photographs and videos of animals living freely in the wild. But they are here, we share the same oxygen, we share the food, the water, the ups and downs of the climate changes. Love for animals has only increased as time has gone on. This day we can see lots of animals, whither it is dogs, cats being the most dominant but also pigs, rabbits, hedgehogs and many more that were previously known as eatables now have become completely domesticated.
The white-tailed deer, also known as the whitetail or Virginia deer, is a medium-sized deer native to North America, Central America, Ecuador, and South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia. These whitetail deer were recorded in Princeton, British Columbia. One of the smaller species of deer, these white tails measure between 80-100 centimeters or 32-40 inches tall. Ranging in weight from 48 kilograms for a large female, or 105 pounds, to a large male weighing in around 68 kilograms or 150 pounds. During a late afternoon in Princeton, Sandy the homeowner where this apple tree was, had the pleasure to be able to watch this family of deer enter her yard to enjoy an afternoon snack. Sandy lives right next to a river that flows through this small town of Princeton so she is fortunate enough to see many different types of wildlife pass through her yard and along the river bank.
This specific day, Sandy and her husband were sitting inside as she noticed a mama deer and her two young fawn wandering the yard. After a few minutes, mama deer walked near the apple tree that has been a beautiful tree in the yard for many years. Keeping an eye out, mama deer could surely see Sandy and Richard inside their home, and she slowly proceeded to nibble some of the sweet leaves from the apple tree. The two young deer curiously wandered nearby as mama showed them how to reach the leaves that were slightly out of reach. Ingenuity is the mother of invention they say, but in this case it is instinct. Standing high on her back legs, mama deer was able to grasp and nibble many sweet apple tree leaves and an actual apple here and there for the half hour that the three enjoyed Sandy's yard. How gorgeous these animals are and what a special treat to be able to be so close as they enjoy a meal.

Peek a Boo the Parrot Grabs Young Ladies Cell Phone
Peek a boo! Sometimes a fun game we play with youngsters in a very calming way hoping for some laughter. In all actuality, here we have a different Peek a Boo, she is a 22 year old African Grey parrot with a very perky attitude. African greys can live up to 60 years old and often live to at least 40 years of age. Known as the “Einsteins of the bird world” they are extremely intelligent and often learn to talk and mimic sounds they hear in their household. The African grey parrots generally inhabit savannas, coastal mangroves, woodland and edges of forest clearings in their West and Central Africa range when in the wild. The larger size birds of the African grey species is also referred to as the Congo African grey, this bird actually has a much wider natural range in Africa, including the southeastern Ivory Coast, Kenya, and Tanzania. These African grey parrots are by far the most well known parrots for being kept in captivity as pets because of their intelligence. Peek a Boo loves people and playing, although she is not a fan of some genres of music. Isabelle , one of the young ladies in the video was over visiting her best friend Maddy one day and they went to see Peek a Boo. Maddy invited Isabelle into the room where Peek a boo the parrot spends most of her time. Listening to music on her phone, Isabelle decided she wanted to see if Peek a Boo would dance to the music she had playing on her cell phone. Placing the phone on top of the cage Isabelle and Maddy enjoyed watching Peek a Boo as she began bobbing up and down on her perch. It wasn’t long before Peek a Boo starting moving towards the music. The young ladies figured ”wow she really likes this tune”. They were not quite correct. As soon as Peek a Boo was within reach of the phone, she reached through the cage bars with her beak and showed just how much she enjoyed their choice of music. Gripping the phone within her beak, Peek a Boo pulled the cell phone through the bars and slammed it onto the bottom of his cage. Shocked with Peek a Boo’s actions, the young ladies Isabelle and Maddy laughed hysterically hoping the phone was not damaged. Peek a Boo had shown the young ladies that their choice of music was definitely not her favourite.

Herd of deer join family around backyard campfire
Some deer can be very friendly and domesticated from living within close proximity of humans, while some remain quite nervous when any human comes near. The Lower Mainland area of British Columbia Canada has a high presents of deer as the city of Vancouver itself runs along the edge of much forested areas. Other cities and towns near Vancouver share this type of animal activity. Maple Ridge is a short drive to the East of Vancouver and the location where these beautiful blacktail deer chose to visit Tory and her parents. While enjoying a backyard campfire during a late summer evening, Tory noticed one black-tailed deer appear from around the side of her parents home. The deer proceeded to walk very comfortably along the lawn and into Tory’s parents beautiful flower garden. Looking over at Tory and her parents sitting beside the campfire, the deer remained very calm while enjoying a snack of numerous flowers. Moments later, a second deer appeared. This second deer as well gave Tory and her parents a look of “ hello there, how are you today?” And proceeded to also enjoy some roses and other flowers in the garden. In disbelief how tame the deer were, Tory began videoing the event. No sooner had she started did a third deer appear.
They just kept appearing and had no concern for us, but they sure liked mom's roses. These black-tailed deer during the winter and early spring, they feed on Douglas fir, western red cedar, red huckleberry, salal, deer fern, and lichens growing on trees. Late spring to fall, they consume grasses, blackberries, apples, fireweed, pearly everlasting, forbs, salmonberry, salal, and maple. The size and weight of these beautiful creatures can range from as small as 30 kilograms (66 pounds) to as large as 210 kilograms (462 pounds). Along with foraging throughout the forests near Vancouver, of course the deer find their way into residential neighborhoods to enjoy the hard work of some home owners with green thumbs. Tory’s mother and father have definitely provided a superb buffet of snacks for this family of deer. Enjoy the video and see what Tory and her parent had the opportunity to enjoy up close and personal.

Stunt Plane Lands On Roof Of Pickup Truck
Kent Pietsch fell in love with flying when he was just for years old and his passion has not changed in the last 50 years. Having flown in over 400 airshows he has performed for millions of fans throughout the United States and Canada. Growing up in North Dakota,Kent would head to the local airport every day after school and help out at one of the flight schools in any way able in order to get into an airplane. His passions were incredibly strong for aviation. Kent is famous for three different routines during his performance. In this video he is performing his flight in which he lands, and then takes off atop a moving “runway” on top of a pickup truck speeding down the actual runway. His other two acts include a deadstick (engine off) landing from approximately 6000 feet, Kent is best known for a comedy act that features a detached aileron (wing flap) and a mesmerizing wingtip-scraping pass down the runway that you must see to believe. Kent loves to fly, but the audience is always his number-one priority. “If you can’t entertain, you have no business being out there,” he said. “The gratification is in knowing that people are enjoying themselves.” Kent’s humble nature and willingness to interact with fans make him a crowd favorite wherever he performs. The amazing tool Kent uses for his whole performance is not a brand new highly sophisticated aircraft, yet an 800-pound Interstate Cadet with a 37-foot wingspan. The plane’s horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine can generate 90 horsepower and a G-force ranging from -3 to +5. The performance here was recorded in Abbotsford British Columbia during their annual Abbotsford International Airshow. The airshow was started in 1962 by the Abbotsford Flying Club and had experienced continual growth through the 1960’s and 1970’s. The 1986 show was conducted in conjunction with Expo 86, the Vancouver world's fair. This saw the inclusion of several European teams like the Patrouille de France and the Frecce Tricolori to the traditional participants ... as well as the Soviet-Ukrainian Antonov AN-124. In 1989, the show set a three-day attendance record of 321,000 people. In 2014, the Abbotsford International Airshow was named one of the 10 best airshows in the world. Locals from all over Greater Vancouver are very fortunate to have this calibre of an airshow in their back yard, so to say. The show never ceases to entertain with one of the main attractions being the amazing Canadian Snowbirds flight team also known as the 431 Air Demonstration Squadron. http://www.rcaf-arc.forces.gc.ca/en/snowbirds/members.page

Dog's expression proves her guilty of stealing treats
Poncho is very much a treat fiend. If treats of any kind, dog or human are left out she finds a way to devour them. Whether it be climbing onto a counter or finding a way to open a totally sealed container or zip-lock type bag, she will get into them. With many attempts at trainer her to not be a "bad dog" she continues to be a sneaky dog. On the day this video was recorded, Brent, Poncho's owner had been at work all day. Once returning home he usually gives Poncho a treat for being a good dog and always welcoming him home in the best way ever, with doggy kisses. Recently Poncho has been having her dog cousin Russo staying with her. Russo is a special pooch and his owners reward him with some very yummy special treats. Freeze dried very healthy and expensive treats, as Russo has some tummy issues.
Well, when Brent arrived home and was going to reward Poncho with one of Russo's special treats, heading to the pantry proved to show Poncho had been up to her shenanigans once again. Opening the pantry, Brent realized the treat bag was missing. Poncho has been known to be a sneaker. Turning, Brent then noticed some plastic bag remnants through the house. Following the trash trail, lead Brent to Poncho's favorite couch.... and the remnants of the once partially full treat bag. Right away Brent heard footsteps of a guilt pooch climbing her way upstairs to her bed. Poncho is well known for disappearing to her bed when she knows she has been caught red pawed. This day was no different. Although performing a "bad dog" thing, Brent just can not get angry at his 13 year old rescue dog. She knows her "puppy dog eyes" always get her off the hook.Today was no different. Brent truly loves his pooch.

Horrifying RV Fire Causes Big Traffic Jam
Elsa from Vancouver BC was heading to visit her parent along with her daughter when they encountered the beginning of a huge traffic jam. Heading towards the Golden Ears Bridge that carries traffic over the Fraser River from Surrey to Maple Ridge, Elsa could see dark black smoke in the distance. Approaching very slowly along with the rest of the afternoon traffic, there were no first responders in sight. Crossing a major intersection Elsa and her daughter slowly were able to see the vehicle that was ablaze. It was a Volkswagen van. Many of these are converted for use as a recreational camperized van. These vans have always been popular as recreational vehicles as they have a classic style from the early 60's and are very cute. One of the drawbacks they do have is an air cooled engine which is located in the rear of the vehicle, and can become over heated if not maintained well. As Elsa approached even closer to the vehicle fire, it was visible that the driver had escaped the blaze, but it appears their shoes were left behind outside the van. Passing closely by the van while it was fully engulfed, created a lot of heart. Elsa's daughter mentioned that " even with the windows closed on mom's car, I could feel the heat from the fire". As seen in the video, there are a number of spectators a short distance from the blazing van, so let's hope one of those was the owner, a safe distance from the fire. Vehicle fires are always a very scary situation to witness.

Kitty toilet trains herself, totally surprises her family
Grimmy is a one and one half year old amazing house kitty from Greater Vancouver, British Columbia. Now some cats are pretty smart, and some owners claim their cats are the smartest around. Grim as her owner Tammy calls her really showed them all just how intelligent and amazing she was one day. As a young kitten and new to the family, Grim always followed her new human family into the washroom. Over time Tammy and her family began hearing sounds of running water coming from the washroom, although none of the family members were in the washroom and there were no leaky taps. Trying to see what was actually making that noise, they were noticing Grimmy always seemed to be coming out of the washroom as they were walking that direction to find out what was causing the running water noises. Grim was always too sneaky and would hear the family members coming.
Then one day Tammy was quiet enough and sleek enough to catch just what was causing the running water sounds in the washroom. Having her camera ready and on record, Grimmy was caught in action. Grimmy had taught herself, somehow, to use the toilet for doing her business. Tammy mentioned that neither her nor any other family member had taught Grim to use the toilet. House cats can be taught how to use the toilet in order to save on some and the mess that comes along with litter boxes. It seems Grim was just an amazing cat and taught herself. She is definitely an observant pet with this incredible feat she accomplished all on her own. Tammy mentioned it sure does make it nice that Grim uses the toilet just like everyone else in the house, and it saves having to clean a litter box on a daily schedule. Other than just being another one of those chores with having pets, a kitty litter box is not generally hazardous to ones health. Grim and her highly appreciated skill is very welcomed by Tammy and her family. I am sure many cat owners are now wishing their furry friends had this skill.

Brilliant therapy Horses Unload Themselves From Their Trailer
Tariane is much like a horse whisperer. Raising horses on her property in Eastern British Columbia she does amazing things. While teaching her children to care for and ride the beautiful animals she also uses them for therapy. Spending time with animals is very therapeutic. Whether challenged with mental disorders or chronic stress such as ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder), animals have amazing curing principles. Therapy animals come in many forms. Definitely the most commonly seen type of therapy animal, dogs come in all shapes and sizes and make ideal therapy animals. Therapy horses are great animals to aid in mental health and are also used in equine-facilitated psychotherapy by addiction treatment centers, veterans groups, and other mental wellness facilities that are overseen by medical professionals. Riding the horse is not the only therapeutic aspect of the animal. Grooming and caring for a horse is know to be very relaxing. Horses also help teach people a variety of things, such as trust building and work ethic, in addition to dealing with emotions. Tariane has taught her horses to load and unload themselves for a number of reasons. The main reason Tariane needed to have her animals so comfortable loading and unloading is in the case of an emergency. If a forest fire or any other emergency were to happen, she knows her horses will obey her commands rather than panic, making the whole process safer for everyone. What an amazing woman.

Most poisonous fish has amazing camouflage abilities
Scorpion fish are one of the most deadly fish in the sea. Also known as rockfish or stonefish, they carry an extremely deadly venom within their spines. The spines which are much like hypodermic needles, are located along the back of the fish. These very camouflaging fish, also have brilliant colours on the underside of their fins. When feeling threatened the scorpionfish will flutter its colourful fins to warn the predator to stay away. Venom sacks half way down the length of each spine, carry enough venom that if stepped on, can kill a human. Scorpionfish are bottom-dwelling fish that have also been called rockfish or stonefish because of their tendency to live among rocks near the seafloor.
There are more than 200 known species of scorpionfish in the ocean. Members of this fish family are commonly found in the Indian and South Pacific Oceans where water temperatures are temperate and coral reefs are plentiful. Being nocturnal predators, the scorpionfish generally lies motionless during daylight hours in the sand of the ocean floor or within rock crevices. Having a wide mouth, they can suck in unsuspecting small fish if they happen to come within striking distance of the scorpionfish even during the daytime. Most scorpionfish species are less than two feet in size and have a lifespan of 15 years. A female scorpionfish may release upwards of 15,000 eggs into the water for fertilization by the males. Fertilized eggs float to the surface and after just two days the eggs will hatch. The newly hatched scorpionfish will remain at the surface until they grow large enough to swim down into the coral reefs. There they will begin eating and growing at a fast rate. Having few predators other than some sharks, rays and large snapper, the scorpionfish numbers can grow rapidly. Living mostly near the surface in shallow areas, they can also be found in waters up to 2,625 feet (800 m) deep. If stung by the scorpionfish, one must seek medical attention promptly to have an anti-venom injection as their venom is highly toxic and can cause death to a human. If stung, the best first aid to perform is to soak the sting area, be it a foot or hand, in hot water and seek medical attention as soon as possible. Never remove spines that may have broken off and still be in the wound site. Always be safe and aware.

Unicyclist Races Past Car on the Lakeside Drive
Taking a relaxing drive along the waterfront will make any day seem extra special. Cruising along the lake at a nice leisurely pace, taking in the fresh air, amazing scents of wild flowers and pine trees makes it even better. Chatting with her husband about how beautiful the lake looks on this warm July day in Osoyoos, British Columbia, Larraine hears something approaching from behind them. All of a sudden a guy dressed in what looks like full battle armour goes zooming past them on the sidewalk. Running?…No. Riding a lightweight high end bicycle?… No! What he was on was a motor powered unicycle, how amazing. These powered unicycles have become quite popular in the recent years. Available in many varieties and of course price ranges, they range in speeds 20 to 30 mph. That is quite fast when zooming along on ONE WHEEL. Relying fully on a gyroscope within the machine to keep you stable does take some practice to get use to. Along with the high speed model unicycles come extra costs. What is believed to be the GOTWAY MSUPER 18 unicycle in this video, the price tag falls around $2000 U.S dollars. Other models can range up into the $3000 and higher price range. This new type of transportation is definitely not a cheep mode of transportation, but very easy to store at home or workplace. If you want speed and further distance capability, that too will involve a higher end model of unicycle. Running on battery power to keep the unicycle rolling, faster speeds means shorter battery life of course. Some high end models will have distance ranges closing in on 60 miles making morning commutes quite easy. Some very cool options also are available on some of the unicycles. Front and rear lighting which makes for safer rides, as well as built in high definition speakers for enjoying your most favourite tunes while rolling along the roadways. Just like our well known and favourite motor vehicles, some weigh more than others. Thirty to fifty pounds is the range of these unicycles, so get ready for a little exercise lifting these little machines once you arrive to your destination. Plugging into a wall outlet or usb outlet will have you back on the road by the end of your work day. Don't forget your safety gear…you never can be too safe out on the road!

Concerned coati mother drags her babies to safety
On a recent vacation, Brent noticed a very interesting and cute animal that he later discovered was called a Coati. The coati, or better known in English as the long nosed coon. The coati which looks much like the well known racoon of North America, is approximately 13 to 17 inches long from head to the base of the tail.Weighing in at around four and a half to seventeen pound they are much the size of a large house cat. Having long tails, this is used in tall vegetation to keep their troops in order, making it easy for the rest to follow the leader whom has his tail held high. Also having long snouts which they can rotate up to sixty degrees in any direction, they use their noses for pushing objects as well as rubbing parts of their bodies when itchy. Having strong limbs they are great climbers and diggers. What you notice in this video, is the care a mama coati has for her young.
Baby coati are also known as “kittens”. Protecting her kittens is key, no matter what. While wandering the resort on his vacation, Brent noticed a group of visitors looking into the bushes. What came next was very interesting to watch. Mama coati made sure her young followed her into the foliage for their protection. At times pacing back and forth within the bush protection as she could see their were humans watching her from only a few steps away. It was evident there was concern for the safety of her young. Once secured, she then began transporting her young from one safe location another. Strategically shuttling the three adorable kittens, mama coati shows her determination and strength to take care of her young. Always scanning the area before progressing along her planned route, mama coati peeks from within the brush cover before latching onto her baby and scurrying to the next drop point.
Continually grasping them around the neck with her mouth, she would then return to gather her next kitten and repeat the process of moving them to the next safe location. The process took approximately 20 minutes for moving the three kittens a distance of approximately one hundred feet from a garden area into some nearby treed area of the resort. Many visitors watched with surprise at the care mama coati took in keeping her young safe while moving them quickly through the resort gardens. What an adorable animal to see.

Cliff Jumping Fail Luckily Ends Well
Vacationing to tropical locations like Puerto Vallarta can be a lot of fun. Relaxing on the beach with your toes in the sand. Swimming in the warm waters. Even taking excursions to the jungle and mountains is very exciting. For those that live in these areas and have grown up there, these excursions can be an every day occurrence for fun and excitement. Many times when on vacation, we forget about being safe. It is a mindset that leads us to believe, “i’m on vacation, nothing will happen to me”. Vogart is a young man who lives in Puerto Vallarta and lives a very active life. Riding motorcycles and many other out door activities, he lives a life of freedom. The day this video was recorded was a day of change. Puerto Vallarta is in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Vogart and his friends decided to make a day trip out to a location known as Palo Maria, roughly a half hour hike in from it’s nearest road. There are seven waterfalls in total in this area, but they are very challenging to reach. The hiking paths and rock walls into these falls are very slippery so it is best to wear good shoes if taking on this feat. After some time swimming and jumping from low level ledges at the Palo Maria falls, Vogart decided he wanted to go higher. Edging his way ever so carefully along the slippery rock wall with loose dirt and rocks, he reached his jumping point. Trying to move closer to the edge, he starts to slip and prematurely starts his jump. Without a solid footing he is unable to jump clear of the cliff and starts to bounce down the rock wall unintentionally. Bouncing off one part of the wall he cartwheels towards the water, strikes hanging cables before plunging head first into the water. Not knowing how badly he is injured his friends immediately jump in the water to rescue him. The video comes to an abrupt end as it was his girlfriend recording his jump, and she immediately shut her phone off when he was injured. Once taken out of the water by friends, he rested and was checked by friends to make sure he was ok, for the most part. Suffering a split lip, an injured arm and a very sore nose appeared to be the worst of Vogarts injuries. Hiking out was the only option. In pain, and nearly passing out twice, he and his friends made their way out then proceeded straight to the hospital. Vogart spent a week recovering at home and realizing he needs to slow down on the daredevil activities. Thankfully he was not injured worse as there is no search and rescue available here, nor helicopter rescue if that was needed. Always plan ahead and think of the worst scenario in order to get home safe.

Large Green Iguana Devours Chicken Nugget at the Pool
Resorts in Mexico are the perfect place for relaxing in the sun and swimming in the warm tropical waters of the Caribbean. Many wild creatures also live within the grounds of the resorts. These creatures are not quite on a vacation like the humans, but they have taken up refuge within the bush areas of these resorts. Not unlike other wild animals in our world, it is not suggested to feed the wild creatures. Recently while on a vacation honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, Brent and his wife stayed at Vidanta. An amazing resort with acres of trees and bush in which wild animals inhabit, this day there were a few green iguana enjoying the pool area. Soaking in some sun near one of the many incredible pools, Brent noticed a small group of green iguanas hanging around. The green iguana is very popular in these areas that generally grown to a length of between 5 and 6 feet and weighs in around 20 pounds. Being mainly vegetarians, in particular, they like flowering shrubs, like hibiscus, berries, fruits and vegetables, like tomatoes, strawberries and figs. Wanting to get some great video of these beautiful creatures, there just happened to be a chicken morsel left over from lunch which was placed in front of the GoPro. Although mainly vegetarians, the iguanas do eat meat in small quantities. If consuming excessive amounts of animal protein, this could cause severe kidney problems and possible premature death for the lizard. Like many animals when spending extended periods of time around humans, these iguana have become relatively calm around the resort guests. This couple relaxing under the cabana seemed slightly uncomfortable with the iguanas scurrying around at the base of their chairs so they kept their feet well clear of the deck. Spotting the chicken morsel near the camera, one large iguana raced in and snatched it up. Looking as though he had just stolen a diamond ring from Tiffany, he scans left and right then bolts for safety with a very full mouth. Having very sharp teeth, the iguana shred leafs and vegetation with ease. This also makes it very easy for them to shred human flesh if someone were to try hand feeding one that may not be as tame as expected. With the chicken nugget thief disappearing around the corner past the lounging pool guests, the second iguana slowly meandered on its way.

Whale Shark Collides With Charter Boat
This and many other whale sharks were feeding in an area off the coast of Cancun, Mexico near Isla Mujeres. The sharks congregate here due to the convergence of two major ocean currents which cause an upwelling of the waters that brings the sharks favourite foods to the surface. Upwelling is an oceanographic phenomenon that involves wind-driven motion of dense, cooler, and usually nutrient-rich water towards the ocean surface, replacing the warmer, usually nutrient-depleted surface water. These huge gentle animals feed on krill, fish eggs, plankton, and any other tiny creatures that may come within their massive mouths. They are filter feeders with very small throats openings and are completely harmless to humans. Being one of the most beautiful and graceful creatures on the planet, reaching a length of 55 feet and an incredible weight of almost 100,000 lbs., they are something to see in the wild. Scuba divers and snorkelers travel from all over the world to swim with these magnificent animals, although in this area, snorkelling is the only way you are allowed to get close with these beautiful creatures. Scuba gear is to allowed to be used near them. A close encounter with such a giant is an unforgettable experience. This group of friends travelled from the East and West of Canada to take a private charter to an area some 20 miles from land off the island of Isla Mujeres. Always searching for a new experience, these scuba divers chose a whale shark excursion with Serious Diving Tours from Isla Mujures to spend the day with. On this trip after the six snorkellers, as diving is not permitted around these majestic creatures, had the chance to swim with these animals, something amazing happened. With their 30 foot charter boat bobbing motionless in the ocean, Steve, one of the group saw a huge whale shark approaching from the starboard side. Keeping an eye on her, she soon was disappearing under the bow section of the boat. All of a sudden there was a loud impacts as the shark impacted the bottom of the boat. With a very big splash and a frantic thrash of its tail, the whale shark pushed its way below the boat and carried on. Searious Diving Whale Shark tours owner Ramone had explained the seriousness of this business within the area. Very controlled by the government to protect these animals, Searious Diving Tours is very strict with his charter crew and guests following the rules. Get too close to an animal and you risk having your tour shut down. Ramone runs a very tight ship and business, he loves these animals like they were his children and takes the business and animals to heart. “His care and concern was great to see” mentioned Brent, one of the tourists on this adventure. “ The day was amazing, more than I ever expected”.

Street Performer Drums Up Cash For Charity
Street performers bring us many different types of skills and abilities. From musicians to magicians to dancers they generally have more skills and abilities than the rest of us that enjoy taking a break from whatever we may be doing to stop and enjoy their show. While on a recent weekend getaway to Tacoma Washington, Brent the videographer and his wife were enjoying a walk along the waterfront when he could hear some drumming off in the distance. Background audio boosted by some quality amplifiers, Phil Coury aka “George Jetson” was drumming out the tune Beautiful Stranger by Madonna. Always enjoying performers and musicians skills, Brent stopped and decided to record a little of the performance. George noticed Brent was recording him with a GoPro camera and instantly showed appreciation and excitement that he was being caught live. After a couple minutes George halted his performance to chat with Brent and filled him in a little bit about his background as well as actually thanking Brent for recording him. At first when George stopped his show, Brent was thinking he was going to be asked to donate into a drum at the front of Georges setup which was converted to a donation basket. This was definitely not the case. George began explaining a little about himself, and his purpose in putting on these shows. George is originally from Cocoa Beach, Florida but now resides in Northeast Tacoma, Washington. After attending high school he went on to study at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Adventuring through life George mentioned he had been homeless at one point and still suffered chronic pain from past injuries. Having no family near by, and becoming quite lonely along with his daily pain George began drumming for a cause. Building his portable drum kit stage, he now tows it to different venues to perform and raise money for Network Tacoma which helps the homeless of Tacoma. George also mentioned being active drumming helps to ease the chronic pain which he endures. At 61, “Keeping moving is key “ says George. Always remember, when you stop to enjoy the beautiful skills that street performers bring us, be sure to show your gratitude. Whether they are performing to pay their bills or to help others in need, they work hard. Please be grateful.

Diver hand feeds world's most dangerous shark
Sharks are the most feared creatures in the ocean. Most people fear that even swimming in waters where sharks are known to inhabit, will result in them being attacked. This is definitely not true. For some, swimming nose to nose with them is a dream and huge bucket list item. For most scuba divers, seeing sharks and the large animals is key to any dive. Turtles, manta rays, stingrays, and all types of fish also bring great excitement for making memories while below the waves. But far above seeing those animals comes an experience very few get to do…FEEDING BULL SHARKS! Coming in at over 9 feet long and 500 pounds, this means these sharks feed on many types of aquatic animals, especially fish, turtles, marine mammals and even other sharks. Playa del Carmen, Mexico is among the best places in the world to dive with bull sharks.
The warm water and excellent visibility allow us to appreciate with great satisfaction the beauty and elegance of these majestic predators. Although known as one of the worlds most aggressive and therefore dangerous sharks, this excursion is very controlled by trained guides. One of the dive guides from Phantom Divers in Playa Del Carmen mentioned that the bull sharks are only in the area between November and March of each year. Why do these fierce animals come to Playa Del Carmen? As a result of the Bull sharks migratory pattern, the warm waters of the Caribbean attract the sharks November through March as that is when the females give birth. Being the perfect location to scuba dive and vacation, Playa Del Carmen is the top location for adventurous travelers to take in this amazing excursion. Rather than diving so close to the sharks, you can remain slightly distant while experiencing jolts of adrenaline and excitement.
The things that separate bull sharks from other sharks their size is their aggression. Known to live within shallow brackish waters as well as deep clear waters such as the Caribbean, they are one of the most feared sharks in the oceans. They also are capable of living in fresh water as well as salt water. This also makes them very unpredictable to where they are found, because they have been known to venture many miles up rivers searching for food. The divers in this video are the few that have chosen to take on the extreme. They have been instructed on how to act within the habitat of these huge sharks. Remain still and calm but observe and enjoy. Laying along the ocean floor at approximately 80 feet deep the divers line up along a previously anchored rope on the sand. Once everyone is in place and ready, the guides begin to chum the waters with bait fish. Within minutes the bull sharks appear from the distant blue waters and start swimming in all directions looking for the food they could smell. Once the sharks appear, the extremely trained and skilled “shark feeders” begin enticing these incredible animals to come close with whole pieces of fish. With bursts of speed the sharks race in just as the guide releases the morsel of fish inches from its hundreds of razor sharp teeth. The guides work in teams, always keeping an eye out for each other in case one of the hungry predators approaches from behind the guide.
With extreme accuracy, every chance the sharks have to swallow up one of the bait fish, they charge in like a superstar football running back heading for the goal line. With adrenaline building in the divers and shark feeding guides, the key shark feeder offers up one of the largest bulls in the area a very tasty morsel. Just as the bull races past with jaws wide open, the guide releases the fish and the guide lets out an ear piercing scream of excitement. With all divers safe and having experienced a thrill of a lifetime, the feeding stops. Within a short time the sharks begin to disperse allowing the divers to surface safely and board the boat back to shore. Every diver expressed their amazement of how graceful the massive sharks were. “Seeing how they could accelerate within feet to high speed and gobble up a chunk of fish was amazing” one of the divers mentioned. This is definitely a thrill of a lifetime for many divers. I interested in this experience. Look up Phantom Divers before heading to Riviera Maya. They can surely help you out with seeing these amazing animals up close.

Dog Goes Wild When Gramma Vacuums
Russo is a 7 year old Corgi Terrier mix pooch. Russo and his owner Amanda have recently moved back to Canada from Australia and are staying with Amanda's mom and husband. Russo is slowly getting use to change with his new home and he sure is a very well behaved doggo who loves to play. Chasing his ball around the backyard or through the living room keeps him active and keeps his gramma busy. Being a very lovable dog is all that matters to Russo so he follows Amanda and gramma Elsa all around the house making sure they don't leave him alone. Head into the kitchen, Russo is on their heels. Go into the washroom, Russo sits at their feet. Russo loves being around people and playing and always returns the ball or any toy that gets thrown for him which gramma Elsa loves since her own dog Poncho never returns the ball when thrown for her. Russo has a basket full of toys which he loves to choose a new toy from throughout the day but being short legged at times he is unable to reach the toy at the bottom. Barking to let gramma know he needs help, she will pull out another toy and the fun begins. When house cleaning time comes, Russo is not so keen. He is not quite as fond of this chore as he is with retrieving a ball. Once gramma starts to vacuum Russo dashes into the room and begins barking, letting gramma know he is not happy. Moving the vacuum head back and forth along the floor starts to become a game of "attack" for Russo. Chasing the suction head in, around and under the furniture is quite a challenge but Russo doesn't give up. When the time is right, he goes into full attack mode and pounces on the vacuum head showing it who is boss. After a few minutes, gramma Elsa feels it is time to calm him down, shuts down the machine and gives her little "grandson" some love. How adorable.

Six foot wild iguana eats berries from woman's hand
Resorts in Riviera Maya, Mexico are the perfect place for relaxing in the sun and swimming in the warm tropical waters of the Caribbean. Many wild creatures also enjoy the resorts. These creatures are not as such on a vacation like the humans, but they have taken up refuge within the bush areas of these resorts. Not unlike other wild animals in our world, it is not suggested to feed the wild creatures. Of course at times, many of us enjoy getting as close as possible to certain animals since we don’t always see them in their natural habitat. Recently while on a vacation honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, Brent and his wife and friends stayed at Vidanta. This resort is very expansive and has acres of trees and bush in which wild animals inhabit. Walking along one of the wooden walkways that wind throughout the resort, a passerby wanted to hand feed one of these huge iguanas.
The spiny tail green iguana is very popular in these areas. Being vegetarians, in particular, they like flowering shrubs, like hibiscus, berries, fruits and vegetables, like tomatoes, strawberries and figs. Right beside the pathway was a very tall palm tree that had dropped many dark berries and the group notices this big daddy iguana was picking them up as he walked along the garden. The woman scooped up a handful of the berries, lay down on the pathway very slowly, and awaited the arrival of the iguana. Gently but cautiously the iguana approached all the while looking very alert for danger. Slowly he began taking the offering right out of the woman's hand.
Being very gentle the iguana looked very at ease, very use to human interaction. As you will notice, it appears this big iguana has had some run in with another predator of some sort as he is missing part of his tail. They are able to regrow their tail in this situation as it is meant to break off in time of threat to its life if being grabbed by one of its predators. The few minutes of feeding this iguana was very special allowing all the friends to enjoy seeing him up close and enjoy a little of Mexico's natural wild life within the resort they were staying at.
