Woman Rescued Through Huge Waves in Playa Del Carmen
Scuba diving is an amazing sport. Those who do it can tell amazing stories about creatures they have seen below the waves. From tiny little animals and plants under a quarter inch long, to giant animals the size of a bus! Along with exploring the sea floor for gorgeous corals, sponge, turtles and thousands of different types of beautiful fish in both cold and warm water, Brent and Elsa love every aspect of scuba diving. On a recent vacation in Playa Del Carmen Mexico to celebrate their wedding, Brent and Elsa also had some scuba diving friends along. Planning ahead is very important with the sport of scuba, to be organized is of utmost importance. The weather was not co-operating as everyone had hoped, but the dive company had assured everyone that the port was open and diving was a GO! Heading out into the larger than hoped for waves made for quite the journey. Topping out at approximately five feet, the 25 foot panga boat seemed to be handling the waves fairly well. “It is about a 20 minute boat ride to the dive site “ the dive guide Dave mentioned to everyone. Tossing and yawing, the relatively small panga boat was under the mercy of the growing swells on the ocean. Increasing winds were whisking off the tops of the waves. Hanging on tight for the voyage, all the divers seemed to be handling the rough seas fairly well, but the bride, Elsa was becoming more uneasy with the boat ride. Before departing, Elsa had take a motion sickness pill, but it was seeming the pill was not quite doing its job. Slightly nauseated, Elsa mentioned to her husband that she wasn’t feeling well and not sure about diving. Generally when one is nauseated aboard a dive boat, once in the water the nausea subsides, so that was what Brent mentioned to Elsa. Arriving at the dive site, everyone was still feeling not too bad. Dive gear organized and donned, everyone did a back roll into the water and descended to the sea floor to a depth of around 55 feet. Immediately there was a noticeably strong current, not one that you could swim against. All the divers and the guide formed a group and flowed with the current in whatever direction it chose to take them. Thirty minutes later it was time to surface so everyone followed the dive guides lead and heading to the top. Still rough above, Brent and Elsa were the first to reach the boat. Elsa immediately began to vomit. Having her buoyancy compensator vest inflated, she was safe, but not happy. Everyone aboard, it was time to head to the next dive site. Dave the guide mentioned the distance to the site and Elsa immediately spoke up stating” I am done! I can’t handle this anymore so please take me to the beach!” The guide spoke with Brent and Elsa and made sure that’s what they wanted, and Elsa confirmed.”Yes I have to go ashore, I can’t handle these waves”. The drop off planned, Elsa put on her mask and swim fins. The boat Captain approaches as close as possible to the shore but very large waves did not allow a drop off closer than two hundred yards. Elsa swam hard and made it to the beach while everyone aboard watched and made sure she was safely ashore. After their second dive complete, the captain made his way to pick up Elsa from the shore. Once again high surf did not allow a direct beach pickup. Realizing Elsa would not be able to make her way through the huge waves and swim herself to the boat, a plan was made. Dave the guide took control. He prepared Elsas buoyancy compensator for her to use for flotation during the rescue and swam it to her. Once on the beach, Elsa put on the bcd, fins, and they entered the surf. Dave began towing Elsa in a way knows as a DIVER TOW. Fighting the large waves, they slowly made it into calmer waters. Throwing a rope with a float on the end made it easier for them to be towed directly to the boat once in a safe area. Captain made a great throw which made for a great rescue. Lessons learned, one can always cancel a dive if you do not feel safe on the water. A great ending other than one sick diver. Elsa was grateful to everyone but glad to be back on shore.

Coati steals fries from poolside vacationer
Everyone and everything gets hungry doesn’t it. Some of us are fortunate enough that we are able to just jump in our vehicle and head to the grocery store and buy the supplies we need for dinner or breakfast. Out in the wild it is not quite the same. Many animals have to hunt for their meals. Tracking down their prey lions, tigers, bears and other predators plan their attack. Once planned they advance with their plan in order to feed themselves and their hungry family. On a recent vacation, Brent noticed a very interesting and cute animal that he later discovered was called a Coati. The coati, or better known in English as the long nosed coon looks much like the well known raccoon of North America. Measuring approximately 13 to 17 inches long from head to the base of the tail and weighing in at around four and a half to seventeen pound.
The coati are much like the size of a large house cat. Having long tails, this is used in tall vegetation to keep their troops in order, making it easy for the rest to follow the leader whom has his tail held high. Also having long snouts which they can rotate up to sixty degrees in any direction, they use their noses for pushing objects as well as rubbing parts of their bodies when itchy. Having strong limbs they are great climbers and diggers. The little coati whom is the subject of this video was recorded by a visitor named Brent. While relaxing at the resort pool on his vacation, he saw some movement out the corner of his eye. Once turned enough to see what was moving, he discovered a theft in progress.
Not a theft as we may think, no, the resort is very safe. What Brent began to witness was the ingenuity the coati has gained in order to gather food, the easiest way possible. Prowling the pool area is a perfect way to find scraps of food, or as this little guy discovered, a whole tray full of food. Of course it is not suggested to feed the animals or they will always be bothering the guests. Also being wild animals, they still may bite. Once satisfied with his meal, Mr Coati moved on to the next “restaurant”.

Crocodile Startles Divers as They Surface
Adventure and thrills are waiting for you right off the highway near Tulum Mexico. Located minutes off of Federal Highway 307 just to the side of the residential area Tankha, in the Riviera Maya is where you will find the Cenote Manati, also known as Casa Cenote. The Manati Cenote gained this name since it was the home to a large number of manatees. The large number of manatees managed to enter the cave where the cenote connects with the ocean and thus developed a new residence that was very protected for them. Within the cenote, the mangrove roots over flow into the crystal clear waters and provide the towering trees and bushes the water they need to flourish. The Cenote is easily accessible for swimming and scuba diving and has a maximum depth of 6 meters or just under 20 feet. Its waters are transparent with a blue hue, giving snorkelers and divers excellent opportunity for photo and video recording. Within the area you can enjoy beautiful scenery, coral reefs as well as rock formations and cracks in the limestone where you can admire a variety of natural lighting effects beaming from above. Many varieties of fish both fresh water and saltwater inhabit the denote. Some crabs all make this beautiful place their home. One of the main attractions for those that dare, is to see the resident Mexican crocodile in his natural environment. These Mexican crocodiles are different from other crocodiles in that they only have four toes on their rear legs. Crocodiles in other parts of the world, such as the salt water crocodiles of Australia have been known to be very aggressive. The Mexican crocodiles are much more docile and non aggressive towards us humans as you will see in the video. Known to have been living in this denote for more than four years, he was first seen when approximately one foot in length. Now more than seven feet long he is growing at a nice rate. You may ask”how do you know he is a he?”. The guide that Brent had during this visit explained that the crocodile had been witnessed doing a “shake” one year ago. Male crocodiles put on extraordinary courtship displays to attract females. They make low-frequency sound that no human can hear, and they do it in such a way that the water droplets on their back start to dance. Also within the waters of the cenote you will be able to see the phenomenon known as halocline, the mixing or non mixing of the fresh and salt waters that produce a mottled look. You will also find a cave that empties into the sea which is part of the largest underground cave in the world called Nohoch Na Chich.

Grumpy Sea Turtle Bites GoPro
The green sea turtle is a very interesting creature. Some as these in the video are actually white, known as Tortuga Verde O Blanco. Some are green and some are white which is quite unique. While visiting a turtle sanctuary on Isle Mejures off the Mayan Riviera coast near Cancun Mexico, Brent had the opportunity to see these beautiful creatures up close. The sanctuary actually breeds the green sea turtles as well as loggerhead and hawksbill turtles Although they are endangered, sea turtles are still killed throughout Latin America for their eggs and meat. In the 1980s, efforts by a local fisherman led to the founding of this tortugranja (turtle farm), 5km south of town, which safeguards breeding grounds and protects eggs. It's a small spot, with a number of sizes of turtles and a few different species. Hatchlings are liberated immediately, while turtles that need more care are kept in pools and later released. The turtles that leave this secure beach return each year, which means their offspring receive the same protection. The sanctuary releases about 100,000 turtles each year, but only one of every 1000 will survive. The farm provides refuge for loggerhead, hawksbill and green turtles ranging in weight from 150g to more than 300kg. It also has a small but interesting aquarium, displays on marine life and a pen that holds large nurse sharks and manta rays. After learning about the turtles and the refuge, Brent was wanting to get some photos of the turtles as they swam. Little did he know that some did not seem to like their photo taken. After a few tries and getting some footage with his GoPro, Brent made the decision to discontinue trying to record footage in case one of the turtles was injured by the camera. Brent mentioned it was a great experience seeing these animals so close although in a confined environment. He also suggested this as a must see if visiting Isla Mejures when in the Riviera Maya area and Cancun.

Dog loves getting treats during nail trim
Poncho is Brent’s 12 year old Basenji cross buddy. She is a rescue that over 12 years ago, Brent and his two children, Ryan and Jayla brought back from Riviera Maya, Mexico. During a Christmas vacation to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Ryan and Jayla, then fourteen and ten, had taken a short walk to the beach. Staying in a condo only a few minutes walk from the beach, the two children walked along a dirt road between a resort and a small mangrove. Having walked this with their dad a couple times previously, it was an easy path for them to go see the beach that they would be enjoying for the next two weeks. Within minutes of leaving, they returned to the condo.
“Dad, guess what we found? “ Exclaimed Ryan with a very excited voice. Brent was thinking and replied, “Hmmm, I don’t know, what did you and Jayla find? An iguana? Well it definitely was not an iguana! “TWO puppies in a milk crate with a blanket… can we keep them?” That was surely not the way this vacation was planned out, to bring two rescue dogs back to Vancouver, Canada. Brent quickly, well over the next day or two, found out what was required for this process with the help of his then girlfriend, now wife Elsa whom was back home in Canada. After some phone calls it was determine the puppies would require an examination from a local veterinarian and airfare arranged through the airline. After a quick trip to the vet, he created passports for the two pups, Poncho and Carmelita (both females) and everyone was back to the condo. Two weeks went fast in Mexico, and everyone was back en-route to Canada with two puppies in a travel crate. Blasting through check-in and immigration, it seemed everyone was pleased to see two puppies joining a great family. Arrival in Canada was simple, one main question asked by the Canadian immigration officer ” did you plan on bringing dogs back from Mexico?” Brent had the perfect and very quick response “ definitely not officer !”
Over the next 12 years, Poncho has become a great pet, Carmelita was given to another loving family as her and her sister did not get along well. Brent began nail trims for Poncho when she was just a tiny puppy when trims were required. Gently holding her legs and massaging Ponchos feet over time, made her become accustomed to having her feet touched. Many dogs do not like to feel they are being confined or held in ways that they are not able to get away. Doing this whenever needed has formed a great bond between him and his pooch, plus it has brought Poncho to not be afraid of this care. “It sure helps to have a couple treats in hand, it seems to take her mind off the noise of the clippers” Brent mentioned. Once completed Poncho most definitely is a happy pooch. No more clicky nails on the laminate flooring!

Marke and his best buddy Lexi live in a beautiful part of the world. They live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west, Washington state to the south and the Coast Mountain range to the North, Vancouver offers a very diverse weather pattern. An amazing city with much opportunity for outdoor activities all year long. Living in North Vancouver with an amazing back yard, Marke enjoys taking his dog Lexi out to the creek to play. Lexi, aka Rottigator, as Marke and his family like to call her, is a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and Rottweiler cross.
A very lovable companion as you will see in the video. Lexi will play for hours in the fast running creek. An extremely strong swimmer makes it very relaxing spending an afternoon throwing sticks and logs for Lexi to retrieve. When Marke stops playing throwing sticks and giant logs for Lexi, she immediately lets him know she is not quite finished playing. The creek that Marks enjoys having as his back yard is mosquito Creek. Mosquito Creek park area in North Vancouver has a number of hiking trails that can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
Bernese Mountain Dogs as well as Rottweiler breeds are both very friendly and extremely strong dogs. Both make great pets when raised properly. As you can see, Lexi makes for a great pet.

Four amazing horses load themselves into trailer
Tariane is the caretaker to four adult full size horses and a mini pony she actually calls Mini Pony. Living in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Tariane is a professional driver during her “day job” and a super mother of four children plus multiple animals including the horses in this video. Learning to ride at a young age herself, horses have always been in Tariane’s life. Once becoming a parent herself, the kids were all taught how to care for and eventually ride the numerous horses living on Tariane’s property. Nevaeh, the youngest adorable little daughter, has been riding Mini Pony for a while as have Jordy, Leland and the eldest son Kiegen. Being small, Mini Pony and his days with Tariane and her family have come to an end. Like some families do with homes, Mini Pony has become too small for the kids to ride, it would only injure his back and legs.
The day the video was recorded was the day Mini Pony was introduced to a new family, one that can enjoy her for her tiny size. Along with Brent’s lack of horse knowledge, comes a lack of knowing value of these beautiful animals. Asking Tariane what mini Pony fetched at the auction she said “Actually he went for $200 over asking” Tarine mentioned, $800 green backs in her pocket. Not bad for a 1 horsepower vehicle. Brent is a cousin of Tariane whom lives in Surrey British Columbia. When he heard her mention that her horses were” self loading”, he was in disbelief and asked her to prove it. Brent is more of a city guy than a country cowboy so to say, and although he loves animals, his expertise runs very short in the horse department.
Tariane listed off her team as Nova, a ten year old white paint mare. Dexter is what she calls a sorrel gelding and he is seven years old. Spartan, well he is a four year old line back dun apparently. Brent was shaking his head with all these terms and said” all I know, is they are all horses!”. Last but not least came Kissa and she is sixteen and still going strong. Asking how was she able to teach her horses to self load, Tariane described that from when she first purchased the horses, she practiced with them quite often. Perfecting this loading technique would make sure she was able to load them quickly and safely in case of an emergency. An emergency, meaning a forest fire as she lives in a very wooded area of British Columbia. It is simply amazing how smart these animals are. Great job Tariane.

Orca pod surfaces from right underneath sightseeing boat
A leisurely day out on a whale watching got extremely exciting very quickly. After a few hours cruising around trying to locate the Humpback and Orca whales that were being talked about on the marine radio, the time had come for some close up activity. Earlier in the day the group on the excursion had departed from Anacortes, Washington. After aboard, safety briefings done, the captain fired the engines and away they went. Slowly departing the marina, the crew notified the tourists aboard that they would actually be heading into Canadian waters as that was where the whales were currently being spotted.
Sitting back and enjoying the beautiful summer day, Brent and his wife found a comfy seat and took in some sun. Once nearing Vancouver Island the captain notified everyone that there was a solo Humpback whale just ahead. This stirred everyone's curiosity as most aboard had never seen a whale before in the wild. "Watching the Humpback breach the surface, arch its back then sound to the depths was very peaceful but exhilarating" Brent said. After a short time enjoying the Humpback ,they all scooted south to another location where Orca had been spotted. Now things really got exciting. Seeing a small pod of whales that appeared to have some young orca with them was amazing. Suddenly another pod was located approximately a half mile away which seemed to be swimming in circles. This footage was recorded right at this location.
The captain explained how orca hunt and how they train their young. Mainly feeding on fish and seals as they provide a very high in fat meal, the whales being to circle, then contact the seals with their flukes(tail) or actually pounce atop the seals. After some training, the hunt was over. Adult orca, or killer whales, eat between 150 pounds and 300 pounds of fish or seal per day. This requires a good part of a day to accomplish at times, all dependent on the time of year. The orca can become quite ingenious on their hunting skills and do at times work together to track and hunt schools of fish or pod of seals.

Baby Bald Eagle calls Mama for food
Bald Eagles are and beautifully amazing creature. “Majestic and graceful it is such a blessing to be able to enjoy these birds right in my back yard “. That is how Brent explained watching this family of eagles not far from his home is Surrey British Columbia. This family of eagles, with its now two young eaglets is in a nesting platform created by a home construction development company called Dawson Sawyer. The Hancock Wildlife Foundation is an organization which David Hancock initiated to study bald eagles in the middle 1950’s on southern Vancouver Island in British Columbia. After years of doing research throughout the Vancouver Island region on the population growth and effects of society on the eagles, more recently David and his foundation has repeated some of the Gulf Island surveys but primarily concentrated on the nesting and wintering populations of eagles in the Greater Vancouver / Lower Fraser Valley area. The nesting populations in the Lower Fraser Valleyarea of Greater Vancouver have gone from 3 pairs found during the early 1960s. The numbers of mating bald eagles during the 1960s was drastically reduced by the period when a $2.00 per pair of eagle legs bounty was paid to fisherman and game wardens by the State of Alaska for killing eagles. These numbers have regained strength from organizations such as Davids Hancock Wildlife Foundation working hard, and today it is estimated that over 500 nesting pairs are now breeding in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland of Vancouver B.C. Back to the Surrey townhome development. When Dawson Sawyer started to develop the land for the new homes, they had in their minds that they also wanted to create a new home for some eagles. Together with input and direction from David Hancock and his Hancock Wildlife Foundation they left a small area of trees among the homes and constructed a platform in which the eagles could build a nest. Generally eagles build their nest from 50 to 120 feet above the ground and usually this chore takes approximately two weeks to complete. The nests around Brents neighbourhood, all seem to appear in the 50 foot high range. The Hancock Foundation has placed “nest cams” in many of the nesting sights that they manage, which gives the general public the opportunity to see, from the comfort of their homes, just how amazing these birds are. Located in trees as well as atop large power poles and structures, these nest cams are quite interesting to watch. In this footage, you can enjoy the mature eagles tending to the one young eaglet and see just how cute the eaglet is when mom and dad arrive back home with lunch.

Adorable baby geese enjoy an afternoon at the lake
Canada geese are very plentiful near the city of Vancouver British Columbia. These geese are a large wild goose species with a black head and neck with a small patch or white under its chin. Their bodies are mainly brown. They do mate for life oceanarium mature and enjoy a life span of 10 to 24 years. The males are slightly larger and range from 8 to 15 pounds while the females are slightly smaller in the range of 6 to 12 pounds. While enjoying an afternoon walking around a small lake near her home in Vancouver, Elsa noticed a family of Canada geese nearby. Canada geese mate for life. This means once they find a partner when they become mature, they stay with the same mate until death. Females lay eggs only once a year. Just a few hours after the eggs have hatched, the baby geese leave the nest and learn to swim. When the chicks are more fully grown, the parents shed their long wing and tail feathers. This means they're not able to fly for 3 to 4 weeks. Having hatched in April, the small geese, or goslings are now out and about enjoying the lake with mom and dad. Wanting to get a little closer look at the babies, Elsa started to move in a little closer. As you will see, the one goose begins to shake its head and swing its neck about. This is one way of them displaying to themselves and those around, that they are feeling threatened. This action warns their partner and goslings to be aware. As Elsa continued to move closer, the geese then decided it was time to head for the safety of water. The adorable youngsters seem unaware of any threat and continue to gobble the gravel near the beach. The whole family continued on and enjoyed an afternoon swim at the lake.

Video creator tells you how to make money on Rumble
Do you enjoy recording videos while on vacation or just out on a Sunday drive with your friends and family? Would you love to make some cash doing what you may have been doing for years and have not made a penny? Well making some extra money is a reality with some simple steps and a little bit of creativity and effort. Actually you have probably already been giving a lot of effort recording, editing and submitting your experiences on another video platform and possibly not even getting any returns for your hard work. Well that was me two years ago, working hard and not even realizing there was such a way to make money recording my dog playing, or snorkeling in the amazing waters in the Caribbean. While in the Grand Cayman airport a couple years back, carrying my GoPro case I met a guy, a very friendly guy that gave me a few ideas and mentioned a site that "pays you money for doing what you already do, videoing stuff!!!".
After a short chat we parted ways, shook hands and I thanked Dave for sharing his email address with me. Dave offered up assistance in getting me registered and offering assistance producing videos for this site. The site was RUMBLE.COM. So as I explain in my video, I contacted Dave and he started me off. Did I know I soon would be addicted to the world of video creation? I sure did not. Over the next two years I have learned what works and some of what does not work to get your creations to receive what RUMBLE calls "profit sharing status". With this, your creation will get shared to other video platforms such as Google, YouTube and many others. Once forwarded to those many other sites, and your views grow, that's when the excitement starts. You will see "earnings" grown within your RUMBLE profile.
Seeing views grow proves to you that "hey others like my work too!!!" So if you are like me recording video all the time and want to know more about how to make cash, email me at brentferguson7@gmail.com and I will forward you the info that helped me get started. NO STRINGS ATTACHED!!! If you want to check out RUMBLE.COM to see what the site provides, check out my channel in the search bar. cdngreenwaterdiver is my user name. Thanks for listening and enjoy my video on how YOU TOO can get paid for doing something you love. Best of luck and I look forward to hearing from you.

snowboarder gets wiped out while taking selfie
Snowboarding is one of the most popular sport activities taking place in the areas that give opportunity and access to snowy mountains. Grant the solo videographer in the video lives in the outskirts of Vancouver, British Columbia. The great area of Vancouver offers up some awesome opportunities to locals and visitors in that there are three ski hills within an hour drive of the downtown core. On this day that Grant was enjoying the last day of the season boarding up at Cypress mountain, he forgot one main rule. Actually he possibly forgot a few, wear a helmet for safety, and always keep focus and concentrate of your surroundings. Putting all that safety aside, many still enjoy a perfect day taking everything into their own hands and making their own choices. Trying to catch some sun and incredible spring snow boarding on this last day of the season, Grant set up his phone camera and began recording. Making his biggest efforts to keep himself in the shot, Grant then noticed another boarder getting within his camera view. As mentioned earlier...always be aware of your surroundings so you don't get wiped out by someone else that also isn't paying attention!!!

Snowboarder surfing ends up in classic epic fail
Skiing and snowboarding in Vancouver B.C Canada comes to a close mid April in most cases. 2019 has been a great season for the local mountains as Vancouver had more than average snow fall. Throughout the season the ski hills hold a number of fun competitions for the visitors. One of the most fun filled events comes at the close of the ski season. Up at Cypress Mountain ski area, this last event is their SLUSH CUP. This event challenges its competitors of all age groups and sexes to try to make it across a water filled pool. One by one the competitors race down the hill and scoot under a sponsors banner and give it their best shot at making it across the water. "Speed is everything plus a little luck" one competitor said. Children with some bravery gave it their all as did adults. Some make it and some don't quite do so well. With a great day of sunshine and warmer temperatures, the day was a complete success for the closing day at Cypress Mountain.

Record Breaking Gas Prices Make You Say "WOW"
It’s a harsh times coming for those driving gas powered vehicles as gas prices in Metro Vancouver hit another record high. This record high is not just in the region, but all of North America. Earlier on the morning of April 14th, a number of gas stations across BC’s Lower Mainland showed prices of 168.9 cents/litre, that is the equivalent to nearly $6.40 for one imperial (U.S) gallon of regular gasoline. Not only is it another record high for British Columbia but an all-time high for gasoline prices across all of Canada, and the continent. Some say the skyrocketing prices are due to supply shortages which others believe it is the addition of “carbon tax”. This tax is intended to help in reducing greenhouse gases by hoping users will reduce usage. To reduce the tax paid by individuals or companies there are a couple ways to accomplish this. This means driving less, turning down the temperature in ones home that uses a natural gas or oil fired furnace. Along with Vancouver, it is expected the rest of Canada will see some price spikes in the near future. The videographer here took some time and made a stop at one of his local gas stations to get the opinion of a customer. Driving a small compact vehicle use to mean saving money on fuel, it still does, but when prices skyrocket, the savings do not seem as sweet. Along with gasoline prices rising, diesel as well has increased. Costing around $1.40 for one litre of diesel, Brent the videographer whom drives a Dodge Ram 3500 diesel pickup truck, mentioned “ when I first bought my truck I recall paying 65 cents per litre. It’s a long way from that now.” He also mentioned usually going across into Washington State to fill his truck as it is close and saves over $40 per fill. Even though local residents are not happy with these price hikes, as the lady filling her mini said” there’s no use getting angry about it, the government always does what they want it seems.”

Guy Struggles Staying Awake Waiting For Doctor Visit
We all know that sometimes waiting for a doctors appointment can take some time. We try to show up just a bit before our scheduled visit to show promptness and concern for the doctors time and schedule. We also try to be patient, sorry for the pun. These days with doctors visit times being cut per patient, this can create backlogs in the waiting room. Doctors all try to give each patient the time they deserve to explain what has brought them to the doctor in the first place, also creating backlogs at times. This poor fellow in the video seems to have been waiting quite a while. When waiting for an appointment himself, Brent notices this young fellow nodding off across from him. The rumble within the mans sinus' began along with some self induced minor whiplash. We have all done that, the suddenly shocking surprise when your chin hits your chest as we slip into snooze mode while trying to stay awake. The ironic part and somewhat fun part was the sign on the wall behind this young man. Sleep apnea as know, can cause many side affects to those that struggle with this condition. Sleep deprivation, stroke, and heart attack can all become an issue for those struggling with sleep apnea. Not sure why this fellow was visiting the doc on this day, but he sure appeared to be sleep deprived or over worked. Hope his visit went well.

Barracuda Circle Dive Guide
Roatan, Belize is an amazing location for scuba diving and snorkelling. Located on the eastern coast of Central America and south of Mexico it is bordered also by the Caribbean Sea. Offshore, the massive Belize Barrier Reef, dotted with hundreds of low-lying islands called cayes, is home to an extremely rich marine life. Sea turtles of varying types, Moray eels, as well as a number of types of rays are also found along the reef. On this dive in the video, Brent and his wife Elsa had stopped in Roatan, Belize while on a Caribbean cruise. Both being avid scuba divers from Vancouver, British Columbia they enjoy diving in the clear warm tropical waters of the Caribbean Sea. Drifting along the reef with their dive guide ahead, Brent took note of two barracuda making their way towards the guide. Keeping an eye and a camera pointed in their direction it was definite that the two barracuda were heading towards and circling the guide. Being an aggressive species of predatory fish with massive teeth, they can be dangerous. Their guide also saw the barracuda coming close and circling her so she as well kept an eye on them as you can see by her body language. Once clear, the guide then notices another amazing sea creature very close. Knowing Brent loves to see the larger animals, she makes motion of the animal by waving her arms in a "flying" type display. Right away Brent knew what was being pointed out to him and swam in the direction the guide was pointing. Ahead was a massive spotted eagle ray, one of the most beautiful rays in the sea. Almost appearing frozen approximately 50 feet from Brent, the ray appeared to be waiting for him to get close enough to shoot some great video footage. The ray surely had Brent in its views because as he arrived closer, the ray made a move towards the distant shelter of deeper waters. "What an amazing dive it was" both Brent and Elsa exclaimed.

The resort has a number of private homes as well as condominium complexes within a few minutes walk of the chair lifts as this is a very quaint resort area. Condo rentals are available at very reasonable rates going along with very affordable rates for skiing and snowboarding. Snow tubing is also a main attraction for those that do or do not ski and snow board making this resort great for every family. As the season comes to a close, the resort holds a long time fun activity called King of the Hill. Prizes are provided by the resorts sponsors making this a very exciting friendly competition between participants. Many of the participants are friends and even family. The racers start at the top of the Red Chair run. Racing for the bottom of the run, the racers must remove their skis or snowboards then charge up to the restaurants patio where they must chug down a provided beverage without spillage. Of course not all racers arrive to the bottom of the run at the same time or speed, making the removing of their skis or boards, very exciting. Once arriving at the patio, the racers must gulp down, without spilling, the designated beverage. That one athlete that finishes the beverage first, is crowned King of the Hill. What a fun event on a beautiful Saturday afternoon during spring break 2019.

Giant Pacific Octopus Sucks Up Scuba Diver
This incredible footage was recorded by Dennis Chow at Dillon Rock near the amazing Browning Pass, just north of Port Hardy on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. While exploring a wall during this particular dive, Dennis, Shaz and Wes noticed a <a href="https://rumble.com/v35t25-giant-octopus-houdini-escapes-through-tiny-hole.html" target="_blank">Giant Pacific Octopus</a> hiding among the rocks and plant life of the wall. These creatures can grow to a 16 foot span and weight upwards of 110 pounds. As you will see in this amazing footage, the creature had transformed to replicate his surroundings. The amazing part about this is that they are colorblind but are still able to duplicate the color and texture of their surroundings when feeling threatened by a predator.
These <a href="https://rumble.com/v44k5x-little-red-octopus-playing.html" target="_blank">scuba divers</a> are extremely experienced instructors and dive shop owners. At no time was this animal at harm, nor was it not at the top of their list of priorities of maintaining its safety and well being. Once Shaz began coaxing this creature out for a better look at his impressive size, you notice he too starts to "check out" Shaz by extending out a few legs to test what was near. Once he started to fully engage with Shaz, Wes was definitely near to ensure her safety at all times. Octopus will engulf its prey as this one did with Shaz, and then if its regular food, inject crustaceans like crabs with a paralyzing saliva then dismember them with their beaks.
This guy definitely had Shaz in his grip, until Wes decided it was time to help release him and go back to his normal habitat. Incredible!

Sasquatch Resort, previously known as Hemlock is located 154 kilometers east of Vancouver in the beautiful Fraser Valley. It is nestled in a natural snow bowl tucked away above Harrison Lake. High altitude drone discovers cool cornfield art
The Bose Farm in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada grows a number of different products for their local community. Along with the vegetables, which are all NON GMO, they also have a massive 25 acre field solely dedicated to growing corn for their yearly corn maze. Having visitors from all over the world, including Europe,USA and Australia keeps the excitement alive for the family. Parties and team building groups take advantage of this great location to challenge whatever maze has been created for the season.
The 2018 season brought on the hockey theme. Being hockey fans, the Bose family chose the logo of their local WHL junior team, the Vancouver Giants. Laying out the complete artwork by hand, grid by grid, the family hand planted each and ever stalk of corn. Maintaining the maze is also a chore. Hand rototilling the pathways once the corn begins to mature is a weekly job to keep them nice and smooth and clear of weeds. What an amazing job the Bose family does for their community. Producing non GMO healthy produce and also providing a super fun activity for those from infants to adults.

Driver Balances Truck On Front Wheels
Motor sports are extremely popular though out the world. Monster Jam brings adrenaline charged family entertainment excitement to fans across the county. These world class vehicles and athletes really put on a show recently for its Vancouver British Columbia fans. The event challenges the athletes to put their highly modified, super powered vehicles through numerous head-to-head competitions. The fans are given the opportunity to vote on each performance and for their favourite driver athlete. Brent the videographer mentioned" it has been probably 20 years since I have been to this event. It is still super exciting but one thing I noticed, technology has come into play here too, we can now vote for a driver's skills through our cell phones!". Yes fans can vote along with the authorized judges to help their favourite athlete gain points towards an overall event win. Jumping these 12 thousand pound trucks over 10 feet in the air puts incredible stresses on the equipment. Costing approximately $150,000 U.S dollars to build, these trucks are not for beginners. That is just to get started. Reportsd show that to keep Gravedigger active for a season costs around $600 thousand U.S dollars per season. Their 2000 horsepower engines charge these gigantic trucks around the track at a pretty good clip. The tires alone are around 5 feet tall and weigh around 900 pounds each. You won't be changing one of those on the side of the road!!! In this clip we see Gravedigger and Jekyll & Hyde going head-to-head in the final of the open class. Very entertaining and exciting to see just how these trucks can be maneuvered. These trucks and athletes tour the United States and Canada so keep an eye out for the show coming to a town near you. It is worth taking in, fun for the whole family but remember your ear plugs!!!

Guy has a funny way to kill time at the airport
During a lengthy wait at Vancouver airport prior to jetting off to Miami for a cruise, Brent was getting bored. Pacing the vast area of the boarding gates, observation windows and shops he suddenly had a thought. Mentioning his idea to his wife made her shake her head, as many of Brent's ideas are a bit silly. As they got closer to the moving sidewalk he began getting down onto the moving sidewalk and of course Elsa asked what he was doing. All he said was "please start your camera to record". Seconds later he was practicing his swim strokes in no other way than he could. As silly as Elsa thought he was she continued to keep the camera rolling, even when other passengers walked behind her and chuckled. As usual, she just would tell them " it's ok, he is always trying something new to get onto Rumble and Youtube". Once at the end of the walkway, Brent jumped up, brushed off his clothes and headed to the gate of their flight. " Well at least that took a few minutes off our wait !" Next up was window gazing and heading to the newsstand for a treat and magazine for the flight.

Hidden camera captures naughty dog's antics
Recently Brent and Elsa have been coming home to couches that are becoming damaged. Poncho their rescue dog has gone through a number of personality changes over her 12 years. Becoming a senior pooch is definitely causing some naughty habits with Poncho. As long as someone is in the house, even if they are not sitting with her, Poncho is generally well behaved. As soon as the house is empty leaving Poncho all alone, her anxiety kicks in to overdrive. As you will see she becomes quite aggressive while making her "bed" as comfortable as possible. Although she is on medication for the anxiety, it does not seem to always have great results. As hard as it is to come home to ruined furniture, Poncho is definitely still loved by her owners. You will see this in Poncho's eyes in the video. What a pooch!

Explosion rocks tent city neighborhood in British Columbia
February 26, 2019 was a horrible day for the city of Maple Ridge in British Columbia. At the corner of 222nd and Lougheed Highway near the downtown core of Maple Ridge there has grown the Anita Place tent city for the local homeless. One of the neighbors Jerry G. managed to record this footage after hearing a commotion down the street from his home. With the recent cold snap in the Greater Vancouver area it has made it tougher for those living in these shelters. Keeping warm can become a dangerous endeavor when safety is not taken into the highest consideration. The flammable materials the tents are constructed of make it extremely dangerous having propane fired heat sources inside the tents.
In recent days prior to the horrific fire in question, firefighters and city staff went into the camp and removed around 100 propane tanks, gasoline canisters, generators and other potential fire hazards from the site as part of a court-ordered injunction to address safety concerns. This fire broke out and consumed the entire contents and belongings of the tenant. Luckily no one was injured this time, but previously from a fire this past December a woman suffered burns but did recover. Most of the tenants of this tent city do not have many options. One of the neighbors who only identified herself as Beau questioned why more wasn’t being done to assist people in the camp.
“Freeze to death or burn to death, that’s just a horrible option, and these people need to be housed,” she said. Although there is a local Salvation Army office near by, it is unable to house the number of people that require permanent housing that is safer than this tent city. On a nearby city owned property, there is a $15 million project in the works so let’s hope this will help those in need and end these types of tragedies.
