Got 1st place in class and 5th overall. Trying out multi-class racing with MX5 and GR86 in the Production Car Sim-Lab Challenge series at Okayama. Had a good battle with another MX5 for 2nd place for most of the race until he hit a car during a yellow. Fun racing and I really like this track. Wife and my playthrough of Back 4 Blood - Act 1: The Devil’s Return 1:1 Resurgence 1:2 Tunnel of Blood 1:3 Pain Train 1:4 The Crossing On rookie mode. The nice thing about this game is that it's a mindless zombie shooter. Just go shoot and smash zombies. Lots of fun.

Running a trackday at MSR Cresson back in 2017 with The Drivers Edge group on the short 1.3 mi layout. Passing required a point-by so I got stuck behind cars now and then. But at 3:25 I go Cobra Hunting. 2006 NC, 2.5L, Ohlins on 10/8k springs, header, intake, tune and all the typical mods. Sorry about the wind noise, it's a convertible.

The LRB door panels really improve the elbow room in NC Miatas. But the factory controls for the mirrors and locks are simply bolted on and look unfinished. Last week of season 2. iRacing at Virginia International Raceway on the Grand Course layout. I haven't run that 4+ mile layout in a couple years, since I was doing Skippy races. It took me several hours of practice to relearn the 22 turns and the blind switchbacks after the elevation changes. Practice looked promising with lots of traction, even with a light rain. But the rain came down hard with the start of qualifying. I could not get any valid laps in and ended up with P8 at the start. The start of the race saw max rain. I got a good launch and avoided the crashes and moved up to P5 after the first couple of turns. I was able to keep a clean race with one hit from behind and overshooting a turn once. Both were insignificant and I finished the race with only 5 incidents. I added some off track highlights from the race in the wide bottom panel. Hope y'all enjoy the race. Let me know in the comments what you'd like to see me race next season. I'm not doing a full series in the rain again. At least not in a car that doesn't have rain tires as an option. I'd love to race the FF1600 again in the dry. It's a fun car. I'm leaning towards the GR86 since I have not raced that car before and it does have rain tires optional. I like driving slow cars fast so GR86, Spec Ford or something like that. Maybe advanced MX5 so I'll learn about fuel and pit stops. Wife and my playthrough of World War Z - The 2nd map of the Moscow series. I'm playing normal difficulty, around a level 19 Drone Master. Not very powerful. We failed our first attempt, this was the second one.

Qualified P8 and ended up on the podium in P2 - Woohoo! Another FF1600 Thrustmaster Trophy series race in the rain. Not bad considering I had 2 crashes. First one I used my quick repair. You actually get to see my Team Buckees pit crew - it's a Texas thing. lol The second crash on the next to last lap wasn't too bad and I just finished the race with the meatball flag. I wasn't sure how the 'rubber line' was going to work since it was a street circuit and doesn't have the usual worn down race line like a regular track. I eventually figured out that the secret was to avoid the painted lines and stripes. Those were slick as ice and would spin the rear tires anytime I touched them. I had been struggling to put in nice clean laps around this wet circuit until then. I think iRacing might have overdone it with the modeling of the painted areas. Hope you enjoy the race. WWZ Playthrough with my wife and two bots. Playing as low level Drone Master character. Somewhere around level 14. Not that powerful yet.

Wife and I playing chapter 3, episode 2 of World War Z on normal mode with 2 bots. Still a low level drone master. Around level 17, working my way up to 30. Getting hurt way too much at that level. Oh well, still a great and fun zombie shooter.

First chapter of the Moscow episodes. Wife and my playthrough of World War Z. I'm a mid level Drone Master, around level 16. Trying to get better at communicating and not waiting around too long picking up every last piece of loot. Often it's better to get out of dodge.

Wife and I playing WWZ with 2 bots. Barely survived at the end when we had to defend the helicopter. Went down several times. I'm playing as a Drone master class. Getting leveled up so there aren't many perks yet and I'm pretty weak. I think I'm around level 12 or so.

I needed a break from racing in the rain in the FF1600 series. So decided to race the Miata MX5 for a change. I just did a custom livery on it and that got me even more motivated. I hadn't raced this track before, and haven't raced the Miata in about a year. Add that this was a rookie series and I didn't have high hopes. I assumed I'd get taken out on the first couple laps. First Qualifier lap was ok and the second lap I turned it up but got a off-track which invalidated that lap. Qualified in P3. Defensive driving and letting others take each other out worked well and I went from P3 to P1 until a lapped driver got involved and caused mayhem for myself and my competition and I ended with P2. This is the second race of the week at Imola. Doing the Thrustmaster Trophy in the FF1600 in the rain. ...Very heavy rain. Designed my own custom livery. Blue, like my IRL Miata, with a purple gradient. Then added logos for some IRL shops- Zoom Performance in Grand Prairie who does lots of the performance work on my Miata and MazdaSpeed 3, Lane's Automotive in Euless who works on daily driver stuff, Fab9 Tuning who is doing the Miata EcuTek tuning. Let me know in the comments what you think. It's my first attempt at a Trading Paints iRacing livery. Started in P3, worked up to P2, then overshot a turn and got stuck in the wet gravel pit. Week 10 of Season 2 in the iRacing Thrustmaster Trophy series in the FF1600 car at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari track, better known as Imola, Italy. I'm very familiar with this track having raced it in various series over the years and with different changes and off-tracks. Qualifying was ok. First lap was invalidated for a off track. But my second lap was ok. Started in P9 and through attrition I ended up with a P6. Nice +69 to my iRating. But 10 incidents lowered my safety rating by 0.08, insignificant. Most incidents where just pushing the front off the soaking wet track. Although I did hit a curb on the first lap to launch me into the air. Luckily nothing broke. Week 9 of Season 2 in the iRacing Thrustmaster Trophy series in the FF1600 car at Snetterton, England. In the rain. First time at this track. Only had about an hour to learn and practice it. Yet I still managed to have a good qualifier. Started P4. Survived the first lap. Crowded someone off track when a car braked harder than expected. A few off-road and curbs but only 3 incidents. Yay! increased iRating along with Safety rating. The rain races are forcing me to learn alternate lines and to take things easier. Had a decent race with another car and he finished seconds ahead of me. I ended up with P6, down from P4 but I'm not complaining. Had a fun race. Week 8 of Season 2 in the iRacing Thrustmaster Trophy series in the FF1600 car at Sandown Australia. In the rain of course. lol Got a decent start, then was cut off and bumped into during the first couple laps. Still managed to gain one position from P7 to P6 which helped my iRating. But the 10 incidents, including one of my own fault, dropped my safety rating a bit. Not a bad race. It went better than I expected.
