Dr. Bruce Lipton Ph.D. on Why You Are The Creator Of Your Life And Not The Victim
Dr. Bruce Lipton Ph.D. is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. In this episode, Bruce and Philly discusses the 6th mass extinction and why human behaviour is the cause of this one and what we can do about it. They talk about what causes most diseases and it is not our genes which is connected to less than 1% of diseases. He tells Philly that the fear of cancer is actually the greatest cause of cancer. He describes what epigenetics is and how this discovery made him believe without a doubt that there was life after physical death, and it eliminated his fear of dying for good. He explains how we have been programmed to believe that our genes control our lives when in fact it is the other way round which means we are the creators of our lives and not the victims. They discuss the big business of the pharmaceutical and medical industry and why there is no encouragement to give people health. He also reveals the 3rd leading cause of death which may shock you! He talks about how the Darwinian theory of ‘survival of the fittest’ has been the biggest cause of the problems on the planet and reveals the evolutionary theory we need to live by to thrive with the planet. They talk about the placebo and nocebo effect and how our belief systems and our subconscious mind create our reality. He also reveals that he was nearly 50 by the time he met his wife and had his first healthy relationship, this was due to programming from his own parents. He has since been living 28 years of a honeymoon with her and that’s because he changed the programming in his subconscious mind and so can you.

Creating a Buzz about Health with Paula Carnell
Today's guest is truly inspiring, Paula Carnell first started her own business in 1990 as an artist and has sold works for five figure sums. She was a very successful artist and then after 20 years she fell ill and became bedridden and wheelchair bound with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Her husband built her a bee hive which aided her remarkable recovery using herbal medicine and plant-based minerals. She's on The Wellness Way to share the wisdom that she gained from her bees.

Paula did a Tedx Talk on the connection between Himalayan monks, plant based minerals and dandelions. When the video of the event was eventually put online it had been edited to cut out some of the important points she had made. There was no reason given by the people at Tedx and Paula had provided them with all of her references that were used in her speech.

Sleep & Autophagy
I've had many messages recently from people who are struggling with sleep which is absolutely fundamental to our health. There are many important benefits to getting enough sleep including something called autophagy otherwise known as mitigating motor complexes. Sunlight is an energy source for our bodies but we’re taught that it is dangerous for our skin. Sunlight is so essential for our mental health and wellbeing but we’re being brainwashed to cover our skin with toxic sunscreens. The skin is the biggest organ of the body and absorbs everything you put on it.

Tips for a Gentle Detox this New Year
Happy New Year, I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. It can be incredibly stressful during Christmas and the holidays so I hope you got through it okay. The New Year is a time for change and a lot of us want to change with some sort of detox, whether that’s cutting out alcohol or carbs or whatever it might be. So today on the show we’re going to be looking at detoxing and some of the wonderful and gentle things that you can do for your health to get you started.

Combating Loneliness & Loss at Christmas with Susan Kennard
Welcome to this Christmas special of the Wellness Way. This is a time of year that some people feel overwhelmed and they might be missing somebody that they loved and they lost. Our guest today is Susan Kennard, who is known as a Spiritual Scientist. Susan is a trained psychologist and psychotherapist and has been a therapist specializing in helping people with trauma for over 20 years, but her path left the traditional route and moved into a spiritual one. She is also the author of ‘Awaken the Light Within Your Heart, A Guide to Self-Healing’ book that made Susan a winner of the Hay House writing competition. At the end of this podcast, Susan will be giving us a guided meditation.
Susan has an absolutely massive toolbox, which has allowed her to create her own unique way of working. Susan channels, she tones, she speaks light language to help others, and she helps them heal their heartfield, allowing them to create and manifest more easily.
Susan has facilitated over a thousand personal healing sessions for people suffering from physical, emotional and spiritual issues and is very adept in incorporating all the different techniques that she used with her intuitive skills.
When Susan was a psychologist and a psychotherapist and she used to work in child protection that's what she thought her life would be. She always has been very scientifically led and so evidence is really important to her. This was where she was when she had her spiritual awakening.
The awakening was when a dear friend of Susan’s tragically took his own life and a couple of months later he came to her in the night. Being such an analytical, science-based person who had this experience happen to her, Susan had to turn to a medium to be able to make sense of it all.

Meditation without the Woo Woo with Greg Mannion
I've spoken before about how my friend Suzanne Jane Taylor introduced me to Soma Breath and I went and did a retreat. While on the retreat I met today's guest and he just made me laugh. What I loved about Greg Mannion of Infinite Breath is that he takes all the kind of woo woo stuff out of meditation and he has completely transformed my life.

Guy’s parents were tenant farmers of the Church of England down in south Devon, and had been since 1951. He grew up on the farm, always wanting to be a farmer, padding around in his wellies from when he could walk.
It was somehow inevitable that Guy would come back to the farm, which he did having studied agriculture and then gone off and been a management consultant in London and New York and pretty much hated it.

Teaching Myself and Others to Heal with Sam Neffendoff
Today’s guest is a man that I've had the privilege to train with in EFT and meta consciousness, Sam Nffendoff. His journey has led him to move away from normal, traditional allopathic medicine and to find a different way of healing and teaching other people how to heal themselves.

Sam, despite his anarchistic nature, fell into the conformist life. He worked in financial services for a company called actually ‘Standard Life’. But it wasn’t the standard life that Sam wanted for himself after years of misery in this industry. It was on a trip to Thailand where Sam learned reiki which was an opening into a more spiritual world.
Sam and his wife wanted to have children and started trying to have a baby and nothing was happening. He got hit with the news that he was very subfertile and it would be almost impossible for him to have a child naturally, which was like a massive shock. Sam went for a three-month acupuncture treatment and tried Chinese herbs as well. A month after this he got the news that he was going to be a dad.
Sam used EFT to get out of the work that he was doing as a financial advisor. He used it to keep calm and grounded for negotiations of the company separating and everything working the best for everybody in quite a tough situation.
