There were times in my journey that I thought I'd gone mad and then you find people that make you realise that you're not alone, today’s guest has done that for me. Dr Perry Nicholson, who I came across on Instagram about 18 months ago. I have to say, this man just blew my mind. I asked myself why is every doctor not talking like this man does? He's quite phenomenal. Listen in to hear his story and his thoughts on chasing pain.

Chasing pain means that you point to where pain is, now it's in my right shoulder today, then can you rub my left hip? So you're just chasing this thing all over the place as opposed to asking, why is the body sending this protective signal? And what does pain mean anyway? So to Dr Perry, pain is a request for change.
Dr Perry believes, unfortunately we're thriving, but we're getting in our own camps and we're trying to kill the other tribe. So it's not a communal tribe together and then that's part of the stress response or survival responses. So you stay with what you feel comfortable with and then you don't go near what you don't feel comfortable with. And that's where people become more polarised.
Every autoimmune disease is inflammation. It's just manifesting itself in different names for different people. So inflammation is the culprit, but would manifest it as fibromyalgia. Somebody else may manifest it as celiac disease. Because that just depends on your genetic makeup, your history and your vulnerability in your body.
Breathing from the diaphragm is so good for your body because it moves your organs around and stimulates your vagus nerve and also increases blood flow in the abdomen. People with vagus nerve issues have poor blood flow to the gut because the signal travels down as well as up. 80% of the signal moves up and 20% moves down.

Your Ancestors Affect Your Life And Your Life Patterns With Ted Wilmont
On this podcast in the past episodes we have talked about EFT. But today I'm going to cover something a little bit different to EFT, which is my absolute favourite modality in my healing journey, which is something called Matrix Reimprinting. There is one man that I had to bring up for this podcast, Ted Wilmont who is an advanced EFT practitioner and an EFT matrix reimprint master trainer.

Ted first heard about EFT about 15 years ago from his friend Carl Dawson, who is the author and advisor of Metric three and Printing. Ted was in a very cynical world running a chain of restaurants, nightclubs and bars in London and in a very tough, angry world. At the time Carl called him Mr. Cynical because that's how that business makes you feel, so he turned him on to EFT.
At the age of 50, Ted couldn’t swim as he had a fear of water. He felt like a scaredy cat and it was something he couldn’t get past. From trying EFT tapping he was able to unlock and access repressed childhood memories related to trauma, fear, and guilt related to swimming and the water.
Ted now loves swimming and swims twice a week. It’s not just about being able to swim, it’s about being free of the trauma that EFT allowed him to do.
The field is information, pure information, the past, the present, the future. We call it the Matrix in Matrix Reimprinting. Some people call it the feel, some people call it the mind of God. Basically it's the universe and the container that it's held in. It's everything.
Tapping is basically acupuncture without the needles, and you are tapping on the ends of energy meridians and you are shifting your energy around. It simply keeps you awake saying, wake up.

Finally, after a period of prolonged meditation for several years of looking inward for answers I was contacted by a healer from Greece who later became my first Tantric healing mentor and was able to teach me many aspects of the Kundalini energy that I had been working with. After a year of mentorship, I wanted to deepen my knowledge and skill, which is when I found a training school in London that met all the depths of knowledge and training that I was looking for. Finally, I felt like I had come home and somewhere that understood the depths of what I felt from others and this is where my career as a healer and intimacy coach really began. I have been lucky enough to have worked with several brilliant mentors who understand my energy.

Free Speech in the Medical Profession with Dr Sam White
I am truly honoured to have Dr. Sam White on the podcast today. Dr. Sam was a doctor for 18 years and a GP for 10 years, and he decided in 2021 that he had to stand up to what was going on in the world. He’s on The Wellness Way to talk about his views on the medical profession, free speech, and where he thinks our healthcare system is going wrong.

The Impact of Diet and Environment with Dr Sarah Myhill

Dr Myhill joins Philly this week on The Wellness Way to discuss her new book Green Mother, her time as a GP, what she’s learned about ecological medicine, and just why she became so infamous with the medical establishment.

While working as a GP for many years, Dr Myhill learned that the impact of diet and environment were so much more important at getting to the real cause of illness, rather than medicine that just suppresses symptoms. The starting point to treat all diseases is diet. If you over eat too many sugars and carbohydrates you overwhelm the ability of the upper gut to sterilise and develop an upper fermenting gut.
Microbes from the gut can get into the bloodstream and if these are the microbes from the fermenting gut, it can cause illness and allergic reactions.
Milk is a risk factor for cancer. Milk proteins are growing proteins which evolutionarily makes sense because young animals need to grow. Milk proteins also create sticky blood which is a risk factor for heart disease.

Dr John Gray is the author of the most well-known and trusted relationship book of all time, Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. USA Today listed his book as one of the top 10 most influential books of the last quarter-century. Not bad for a first ever guest on The Wellness Way. He’s here to talk about his most recent book is Beyond Mars and Venus: Relationship Skills for Our Complex Modern World.

Interview with Dr Bradley Campbell!
On today's podcast Philly has a man that is incredibly special to her because she has followed him since the first lockdown and this man has given Philly hope, he's given her laughter, which so few people were able to do over that period of time. He is a phenomenal functional doctor, Dr. Bradley Campbell is on the Wellness Way this week.

Dr Bradley Campbell had quite a traumatic accident when he was nine years old. Bradley and his friends were playing in a classroom at school and he did a flip, but slipped and hit the corner of his head on the corner of a really sharp desk and blacked out. He ended up in the hospital and lost half of his IQ and most of his short term memory.
After this incident he went to the best of the best doctors in the US and they essentially said, we don’t know what’s wrong. He might get better on his own. He might just be this way forever.
Strangely it was a good thing that Bradley’s mum got hit by a car shortly afterwards because she was told about a healer who was a chiropractor. This person helped her through that injury and then inspired her to be healthier than she was before that accident.
So he did soft tissue adjusting on Bradley, he pulled the skull back apart, took the pressure off of his brain, and within an hour Bradley was laughing. For the first time his personality came back. Bradley’s IQ jumped up higher than it was before.
