Ukraine is to Russia what the Confederate States were to the Union back in 1862. Yet, President Lincoln was only too happy to sacrifice the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans, to keep the Union together (ie. not lose any of Washington DC's power base). Ukraine has a long history of being a state in the Russian Federation (USSR). It's a family thing - let them settle it. Don't sacrifice the lives and limbs of America's finest military men and women, just to appease the New World Order.

Thanks Putin for getting rid of the pandemic.
The reason I believe Putin is acting like he is is pretty simple. He fears the New World Order / Agenda 21/30 and figured the only way to defend his country from it is to reprise the old USSR.
Moves weren't made during the prior Presidency, because he realized Trump stood against the globalist order. But when he saw what happened in the 2020 election, he knew the plot would continue.
Unfortunately, the Russian Bear feels pinned because no one was open to meeting his demands.
Sad to say, but this could have been avoided.

"Socialism Sucks" On this Day in 1848
#OneManOneOpinion #SocialismSucks #FJB
On This Day in 1848 : Karl Marx And Friedrich Engels Publish the Communist Manifesto.
Because socialism is an elitist, anti-freedom ideology for the economically illiterate. Or as Winston Churchill put it "the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignornace and the gospel of envy".
Socialism is an effective way of economic ordering in the same way that starvation is an effective way to lose weight: works great for a while, but eventually it'll kill you.
https://youtu.be/0z8oebZfXFY
A Socialist lesson:
Socialism is the doctrine that man has no right to exist for his own sake, that his life and his work do not belong to him, but belong to society, that the only justification of his existence is his service to society, and that society may dispose of him in any way it pleases for the sake of whatever it deems to be its own tribal, collective good.
-Ayn Rand
The essential characteristic of socialism is the denial of individual property rights; under socialism, the right to property (which is the right of use and disposal) is vested in “society as a whole,” i.e., in the collective, with production and distribution controlled by the state, i.e., by the government.
The alleged goals of socialism were:
the abolition of poverty, the achievement of general prosperity, progress, peace and human brotherhood.
The results have been a terrifying failure—
terrifying, that is, if one’s motive is men’s welfare.
Instead of prosperity, Socialism has brought economic paralysis and/or collapse to every country that tried it.
The degree of socialization has been the degree of disaster.
-There is no difference between the principles, policies and practical results of socialism—and those of any historical tyranny.
When you consider Socialism, do not fool yourself about its nature.
Remember that there is no such dichotomy as “human rights” versus “property rights.” No human rights can exist without property rights.
…, if the producer does not own the result of his effort, he does not own his life.
To deny property rights means to turn men into property owned by the state. Whoever claims the “right” to “redistribute” the wealth, produced by others,
is claiming the “right” to treat human beings as chattel.
-Ayn Rand
*
When you look throughout history one thing becomes perfectly clear.
Socialism is deadly.
Not only to the economy but to the very people that are enslaved by its web of deceit.
Socialism and Communism are inherently evil.
There is no perfect human being alive, accordingly, there will never be an utopian society.
*There will always be wars.
*There will always be revolts.
*There will always be protests.
There will always be anger and jealously of what someone else has achieved.
The difference?
In a free society, you are allowed this discourse and discussion.
In a society where the “State” (government) owns and redistributes everything ?
You do not.
Your freedoms have been taken by the “State” for the collective well being.
Your “dis-satisfaction” is viewed as a danger to this “State!”
Therefore it and must be eliminated or crushed.
You see, Socialism and Communism remind me of cancer.
If you have cancer, what is the first thing that the doctors want to do ?
Destroy it or cut it out.
The same thing holds true in Socialism and Communism. The “Elite’ can not allow freedoms to exist because it will spread like cancer affecting all the other people around it.
In a society where the “State” (government) controls and re-distributes everything ,
individual freedom is the one thing that can not be tolerated !
Freedom will destroy it all.
This is where this “utopia” turns into a bloody nightmare.

Its irrational to send Our sons to War with Ukraine
We seem to be inching closer and closer to a war with Russia over Ukraine. No one in our government offers much of an explanation as to why we should do battle with Putin and his military over a country that many Americans couldn’t find on a map, much less care a rap about. The extent of our government’s rationale to fight yet another war thousands of miles from home and on the Russian doorstep seems to be nothing other than “Putin Bad.”
Franco. Mussolini. Stalin. Hitler. Castro. Mao Ze Dong. Pol Pot.
The 20th century was full of dictatorships which reached new heights of cruelty and butchery never imagined in centuries prior. Unfortunately, this cruelty flies in the face of the American belief that progress is undeniable and a decidedly positive force in human history.
How did we ever come to the assumption that society progresses as it moves along? Why do we view our predecessors and forefathers as morally inferior to ourselves in this supposedly enlightened age?
Lest we think this is a mindset only afflicting today’s younger generations, let's take a look at G. K. Chesterton's The Everlasting Man. Published in 1925, the book was a rebuttal to H. G. Wells’ The Outline of History.
'If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stomping on a human face - forever" 1984

S2 -E2. On this Date in American History Dec 26, 1776
#OneManOneOpinion #SimplifyingTheComplex #MakeAmericaThinkAgain
On this day in 1776, General George Washington wins the Battle of Trenton. 1776 had been a difficult year. The victory provided a much-needed morale boost.
As discussed in yesterday’s post, the beginning of December found Washington and British General William Howe on opposite sides of the Delaware River. As the weather deteriorated, Howe had decided to go into winter quarters. Washington instead decided to make a difficult crossing of the Delaware. His plan was to arrive at Trenton at 5 a.m., well before sunrise, so he could launch a surprise attack.
It wasn’t to be. Instead, Washington arrived at Trenton at 8 a.m., one hour after sunrise. Moreover, Washington had a smaller force than anticipated because two prongs of the American army had decided that the Delaware crossing was too difficult to attempt.
There were about 1,500 Hessians stationed at Trenton. (Hessians were German troops that had been hired by the British.) Interestingly, the Hessian officer in charge at Trenton, Johann Gottlieb Rall, had received two warnings that Americans were coming. He dismissed them both. A small shooting incident between some Hessian guards and an American patrol had occurred on Christmas Day, and Rall thought this was the attack of which he’d been warned.
He did not believe Americans capable of a larger attack, especially given the terrible weather.
Indeed, that weather turned out to be both a blessing and a curse. The snow and ice made the crossing almost impossible, but it also kept the Hessians from realizing that an attack was under way.
Americans attacked at 8 a.m.
One American officer, Henry Knox, later wrote: “The storm continued with great violence, but was in our backs, and consequently in the faces of the enemy.” Thus, the Hessian guards couldn’t tell what was happening at first. Once they realized what was happening, they began an orderly retreat back into the city.
The Americans had been up all night; they were tired, wet, and cold, but they fought gallantly. They set up cannons and cleared the main streets quickly. Meanwhile, the side streets were full of Hessians and Americans engaged in hand-to-hand combat. Things were happening quickly. Snow and gunpowder smoke swirled around and added to the confusion. Before long, Rall ordered a retreat to a nearby orchard, but the Hessians found themselves surrounded. They laid down their arms and surrendered: 900 of them were taken prisoner; 500 escaped; 21 were killed; 90 were wounded. By contrast, only four Americans were wounded and none were killed.
The battle was over in less than 45 minutes. Washington had won a stunning victory just when it was needed most.

S2- E1 On this day in American history Dec 25, 1776
#MerryChristmas #MakeAmericaThinkAgain
On this day in 1776, General George Washington makes a harrowing trip across the Delaware River, in the dead of night. The tremendous feat came just when it was needed most.
Washington’s army was reeling from a series of crushing defeats: The British had won important battles in New York and had chased Americans across New Jersey. Early in December, a defeated American army had narrowly escaped across the Delaware River.
That river provided a barrier from further British attacks, at least for the moment, because Washington had ensured the destruction of every boat for miles around.
It was then that British General William Howe made a decision with serious ramifications for the British war effort. The weather had become much worse, and Howe decided to retire to winter quarters in New York City. He left behind a series of outposts in New Jersey to protect the ground he’d won.
Washington did not realize that Howe was gone (or he may have thought that it was simply a trick). He had roughly 6,000 men fit for duty, but many of those enlistments would end on New Year’s Day. He needed to recruit new soldiers or inspire the old ones to stay. The year had gone badly, and he needed to end it on a high note. On Christmas Eve, he met with his officers, and they finalized the details of a surprise attack. The army would go back across the Delaware in three different locations. The men would march to Trenton during the early morning hours, and they would attack before sunrise.
Washington’s army began its crossing on Christmas night. One of the American officers, Henry Knox, later described the “almost infinite difficulty” created by the icy conditions in the Delaware River. Making matters worse, a northeaster sprang up during the night. The bad news was that it made the crossing more difficult; the good news was that it covered up any noise created by the Americans.
Amazingly, the army managed to cross—even getting horses and cannon across the river. Yet conditions were so difficult that the army completed its crossing 3 hours later than planned. Washington knew the element of surprise might be difficult to achieve if his troops arrived after sunrise, but he determined to push on anyway. They had come too far to turn back now.
Washington could not know that the officers in charge of the other two crossings along the Delaware had called off their own troops, deeming the crossing too difficult. Washington’s planned three-pronged attack was down to only one.
The army pushed on relentlessly, through snow and ice. Knox would later write that the march was made “with the most profound silence.” Another lieutenant later wrote that Washington rode among the men, repeatedly telling them: “For God’s sake keep with your officers.” The weather was so severe that two men literally froze to death during the course of the night.
The army reached its destination, outside Trenton, at about 8 a.m. on December 26, three hours later than planned and one full hour after sunrise. Could the element of surprise be maintained?
Tomorrow’s Show I will tell you what happened next. 😉 In the meantime, Merry Christmas!
