D-Day June 6, 1944 . 77 years ago today
#MakeAmericaThinkAgain. #MAGA
On this day in 1944, Allied troops land on the beaches of Normandy, France. Today is the anniversary of D-Day! That effort was massive. More than 5,000 ships and 13,000 aircraft would eventually participate in the invasion—and more than 160,000 Allied soldiers would disembark on French shores.
It was the largest amphibious invasion in history. It was also the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany.
Dicey weather nearly put a stop to everything, but General Dwight D. Eisenhower plowed ahead. The landings had already been delayed once, and he didn’t want to delay again. The tides were changing soon after June 6. It would be weeks before favorable tides would return.
In other words, further delays were not an option.
Planning for the operation had been conducted with the utmost secrecy. Obviously, the Germans could not discover the plan. In fact, details of the landings were kept secret even from the soldiers who were expected to participate in them.
“We knew we was preparing for a landing,” one American soldier later described. “We didn’t know where, or the exact date, or anything until we was getting ready to load up, you know. I don’t know even whether our officers knew exactly everything.”
Nevertheless, Allied planners had a few scares. For one thing, they discovered that some of their code names were being used in the Daily Telegraph’s crossword puzzle. (Yikes!) Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword were code names for beaches in France, but they were also answers to the crossword puzzle during May 1944. Oddly, other code names such as “Mulberry” and “Overlord” popped up in the puzzle, too. Was the creator of the puzzle trying to send messages to Germany?
He was investigated, but cleared. The issue seems to have arisen because he was getting inspiration for his puzzles from boys attending school near a military base.
D-Day finally arrived. Allied forces undertook an extensive aerial and naval bombardment, and they inserted airborne troops into the area just after midnight. Finally, infantry and armored divisions began their beach landings at dawn.
The day was hard. Allied forces didn’t accomplish any of their short-term objectives: They’d meant to seize several beaches and link them. They’d also intended to seize control of several specified cities. None of that happened—at least not on the first day. Worse, thousands of soldiers were killed, wounded or missing in action.
On the other hand, Allied forces had accomplished something important: They’d seized a foothold on European shores. “The eyes of the world are upon you,” Eisenhower had written his men just before the landings began. “The hopes and prayers of liberty loving people everywhere march with you. . . . I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory!”
And, eventually, that’s exactly what they got. Victory in Europe Day was less than one year away.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
He is trapling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored
He have loosed the faiteful lightening of his terrible swift sword
His truth is marching on
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja
His truth is marching on
I have seen him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps
They have builded him an altar in the evening dews and damps
I have read his righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps
His truth is marching on
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja
His truth is marching on
I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnish'd rows of steel
As ye deal with my condemners so with you my grace shall deal
Let the hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel
His truth is marching on
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja
His truth is marching on
He has sounded form the trumpet that shall never call retreat
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat
Oh, be swift, my soul to answer, oh be jubilant, my feet
His truth is marching on
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja
In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea
With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me
As he died to make men holy let us die to make men free
His truth is marching on
Glory, Glory halleluhja
Glory, Glory halleluhja

"The simple fact is that there are many professors out there who should not be writing; who should just be teaching, and continually developing their skills in that craft."
Yet More Proof That Academic Publishing Has Become a Scam.
Last year, a piece I did in a video and other writings on academia and educators with titles like “Why Professors Are Writing Crap That Nobody Reads” generated some attention.
In it, I pointed out what is commonly known among university professors today, namely, that most of the “peer-reviewed” essays and books they write are read by an extremely small handful of people (like 5-10, half of whom are probably sycophantic graduate students). The principal reason they keep churning them out is the familiar maxim of “publish or perish”—a publication provides two lines on a CV that helps ensure tenure, or at the very least a vanity hit to convince professors of their continued relevance.
This morning, a story from The Guardian appeared in my Facebook feed that provides yet another confirmation of the general thesis of that piece.
Titled “Academics are being hoodwinked into writing books nobody can buy,” it recounts one professor’s recent experience of being contacted by an academic publisher who was willing to publish anything he wrote—no matter how obscure.
Why, you might ask? Here’s the game: the academic publisher knows that he can sell a few hundred copies of the book at an exorbitant price to university libraries around the world. If the professor also forces his unsuspecting students to buy copies for a course, then “cha-ching!”, even better.
The author of the article keeps himself and the name of the academic publisher anonymous, which is kind of weak, though it serves to show the fear in which professors live today. Becoming a whistle-blower likely means being shunned by academia, which further means—except for the very talented—a dramatic decrease in future job prospects.
Nevertheless, in spite of the anonymity, I decided to reference the article because it provides insight into a known phenomenon in the out-of-control academic publishing industry.
Because the academic publisher in question is not named, I can’t verify if it is a “reputable” publisher. Most savvy PhDs know that a publication from some random press won’t be worth too much on a CV when they apply for jobs (along with 500 other applicants) at top-tier colleges. They know to seek after reputable academic presses when they want to put out a book.
But the business for the reputable publishers is similar to the one outlined in the Guardian article. They typically charge $100-$200 for a book—a sticker price that can only be afforded by university libraries, in which they will be confined to some dark corner, and after a dozen checkouts, to irrelevancy. The difference is that the reputable publishers are most likely able to sell their books to a greater number of libraries.
Now, as in other posts, I’ll clarify (since this seems so necessary for some) that not all high-level academic publishing today is worthless. Some of it helpfully expounds on important points and issues you won’t find covered in the popular nonfiction books on Barnes & Noble shelves.
However, I still maintain that a lot of academic is self-serving crap. The simple fact is that there are many professors out there who should not be writing; who should just be teaching, and continually developing their skills in that craft. A PhD usually means that you can write coherently and use proper grammar, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have original ideas that are worth putting in print.
But until universities begin scaling back the publishing requirements for tenure, more crappy academic writing is what we’ll continue to get.

How I Explain "Corporate Media" The Fourth Branch of Government . MSM is the Enemy of the People.
#MakeAmericaThinkAgain
We live in an age in which our media frequently frames issues up as a choice between two extremes.
In such an age, it’s tempting for those who consider themselves educated to consistently take the via media—the “middle way”—and to assume that the truth always amounts to a balanced compromise between the two sides of a debate. In such an age, it becomes cool to be a centrist.
Sometimes, indeed, the truth does sometimes lie somewhere in between two positions.
But not always.
In fact, the assumption that truth always lies somewhere in “the middle” is actually a logical fallacy called the “middle ground fallacy.”
The middle ground fallacy—also known as the “argument to moderation” or the “golden mean fallacy”—takes the following propositional form:
1) Position A and B are two extreme positions.
2) C is a position that rests in the middle between A and B.
3) Therefore C is the correct position.
Here are a couple of examples of the fallacy applied to controversial issues today:
1) Side A claims that climate change is not primarily caused by man. Side B says that climate change is primarily caused by man. Person C therefore concludes that the truth must be that climate change is primarily man-made in certain areas of the earth, but not others.
2) Side A claims that the economic system of capitalism is the best way to promote human flourishing. Side B says that socialism best promotes human flourishing. Person C therefore concludes that the best economic system must be one that maintains some aspects of a free market, but with more governmental controls than we have today.
In both cases, the truth of Person C’s position does not logically follow from the fact that it’s an attempted compromise between A and B. Rather, it’s a separate position that must be evaluated on its own merits.
To repeat, sometimes we’re called to strike a balance between two seemingly extreme positions in order to arrive at a pragmatic compromise.
But sometimes what’s characterized as an “extreme” position may very well just be “the truth.”

#MakeAmericaThinkAgain
Israel vs Hamas, the NWO, Arab world and yes the Democrats & RHINOS sitting in a far away Capital in DC...AKA the SWAMP= NWO GLOBALIST
Biden is asking Israel to wind down their attacks on Palestine. The human centipede media and the entire dem party are putting pressure on Biden to stop sending weapons to Israel. Claims are that Israel is targeting women and children, hospitals, schools and water supply. What do they fail to mention? Hamas fired the missiles first and continue to do so. Israel uses its rockets to defend its people. Palestinians uses its people to defend its rockets and infrastructure. Before Israel targets a non-military target, they call first to warn that target to evacuate people. They do not of course, which is part of Hamas’ strategy. They also fail to mention that Israel has provided water and energy to the Arabs in the Gaza Strip for decades. Israel evacuated the Gaza strip in 2005, at great cost to themselves.
So what is the latest intifada by Hamas/Iran/Palestine about? The official reason is in regard to a small piece of property (4 buildings) in East Jerusalem neighborhood called Sheikh Jarrah. The territory has been under dispute for decades, and just recently Israel said that Arabs had to vacate those 4 buildings. A poor reason to start firing missiles indiscriminately into Israel.
The real reason ? politics. Mahmood Abbas cancelled elections in late April because it appeared that his Fatah party would lose to Hamas. Abbas started using an area called Al-Aqsa as a staging ground for violence. (Jews are not allowed there) Hamas did not want to be upstaged so they launched missiles into Israel. Yes, basically one party thought they could impress voters more by killing Israelis.
The irony is not lost on me, the left likes to call conservatives anti-Semites because we tend not to like George Soros. What does it say about the left, given their stance on Israel?

3 Stoic Lessons That Can Help Heal Our Toxic Political Culture
Emotional. Tribal. Irrational. These are just three adjectives which could be applied to the political discourse of the 21st century. Both in the United States and Europe, discussions have reverted from constructive criticism and mutual understanding to name-calling, de-platforming, and retreats into echo chambers. None of this is particularly useful for a pluralistic society.
Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be this way. Back in the days of Ancient Rome and Greece, the founding fathers of the stoic school of philosophy taught the importance of clear-mindedness and rationalism in the development both of the self and of society. Here a three of these lessons which now, more than ever, need to be relearned.
1. “The nearer a man comes to a calm mind, the closer he is to strength.”
One of the great stoic thinkers, Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, argued that emotional reactions to opposition were signs of weakness; to become enraged is to become a slave to emotions, surrendering your logic as you do so. In this way, once one has allowed himself to become angry at his opponent, he has lost the battle.
Instead, one should take the time to face problems and antagonism logically, and with a clear mind. For instance, anger at the ideas of a political opponent does little to highlight the flaws in their argument, and even less to demonstrate the superiority of your own. Remaining calm and controlled in the face of opposition allows one the strength needed to change the situation, whether this is through changing the mind of the opponent or through gaining a deeper understanding of the issue yourself.
Members of groups who seek to silence opposition through violence or intimidation, such as Antifa, should learn this lesson; an emotional overreaction to your opponent shows that you have already lost.
2. “We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.”
Epictetus, another stoic philosopher from Ancient Greece, discussed the importance of learning as much as possible before putting your own ideas forward. Listening to more arguments than one puts forward allows for a far better understanding of the wider debate.
This lesson is particularly important now, in the age of safe spaces and echo chambers. While we may listen to the ideas of others, many limit their intake of knowledge to the ideas with which they already agree. Within this paradigm, what one says and one what hears often become one and the same. Thus, many are not truly listening as Epictetus would have imagined.
Learning to listen to as many other ideas as possible before forming our own allows us to break free of online echo chambers, and to embrace well-balanced thinking over tribalism. As Epictetus himself said, “It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows.”
3. “If you judge, investigate”
In today’s world of fake news, alternative facts, and clickbait headlines, it can be easy to form a strong opinion of someone or something before a full understanding has even been gained. Seneca the Younger teaches that all judgments and opinions we make must be fully understood before we can begin to feel secure in them.
It is not enough to generate our stances on current affairs from one or two news sources shared on social media; we must take it upon ourselves to investigate further and to determine the facts before we can express our judgments.
In other words, don’t just share the first headline you see. Do some research first.

Communism is slipping into the USA under the guise of Racism. What does Racism really mean in 2021?
#MakeAmericaThinkAgain
How communism is being slipped into the USA under the guise of racism. This new racism divides blacks against blacks, blacks against whites, whites against whites, etc.. This harms blacks the most under the charade of civil rights. Let’s get something straight, racism only applies to African-Americans. No other race gets the benefits of this new communism. Rarely do you hear about racism against or benefitting any other race. It may be tempting to point out the murder of Korean’s in Atlanta, as they tried to blame whiteness and Trump voters. What they didn’t tell you the majority of violence against Asians are committed by blacks. Generally speaking, white kill whites, Hispanics kill Hispanics, and blacks and blacks most often, but there is one exception, black on Asian violence. The Human centipede media didn’t’ tell you this because it would go against the narrative that whites are the problem. It is not a recent phenomenon, black-Korean violence fueled the LA race riots of 1992. Presenting facts does not divide people, it does not help the implementation of communism. The centipede and leftists pretend to care about Asians yet they openly discriminate. Harvard and Yale are open about their policy of discrimination against Asians. In fact, joe bidet dropped a DOJ lawsuit against Yale for discriminating against Asians!
Black lies matter has a open policy of breaking up the traditional family and the USA yet they are allowed to black mail corporations. Their name says it all, try to say Asian lives matter and you will be censored faster than you can say the words. Blacks now want their own sperate society and they are getting it. Separate graduation, classes, and they get any demand they want. Key word there is separate.
People of all races can see what is going on, and wonder what happened to all the progress the USA has made. It does not make sense, and it shouldn’t. Racism today is not about civil rights, it is about gaining power and taking down the USA.
What does racism mean? Not much, when everything is racism, nothing is racism. The USA is not a racist nation. Are there bigots? Sure there are but the word "racism" has been cheapened. Over the past 30 years I started to realize that racism was just a means to an end. It was a way for the NAACP, Jessie Jackson, and Al Sharpton celebrity status. It was more annoying than anything else. Over the past year racism has taken on a nefarious definition: communism
The communists in the govt tried to usher in communism by coming out and saying democratic socialism was better than capitalism. It turns out socialism was a losing message. Enough people came from socialist countries and remember the horrors of the life they left behind or the cold war with Soviet Russia.
Plan B, is racism. The communists know that nothing divides American's like racism. The stigma of being called a racist can make people do anything and they know it.
The govt, media, and companies are now pushing "equity" instead of the American idea of equality. Equity is communism. Equity means that everyone gets the same outcome. No matter how hard you work and how little your neighbor does, you both get the same share of they pie. That is the promise of communism, Equality, the American idea, is that everyone gets an opportunity to succeed. Some may choose not to work very hard and earn minimum wage, while others take risks, start business and live the dream.

In the initial stages of nearly every recorded Tyranny, the saucer-eyed dumb struck masses exhibit astonishing and masterful skill when denying reality. The facts behind their dire circumstances and their antagonistic Government become the source of legitimate concern. Their desperate need to maintain their Normalcy bias create a memory and observation Vacum in which all that runs counter to the false assumptions and preconceptions disappear forever. It is, as if they truly cannot see the color of the sky or the boot on their face. The concrete World of Truth become a dream, an illusion that can be heeded or completely ignored, depending on ones mood, for them, life is a constant struggle of dissociation, where the tangible is -NOT WELCOME-
It is one thing to bear witness to the rejection of truth in our time and oblivious attitudes of many towards the growth of Totalitarian. Eventually though, a Second phase of the development of oligarchy arises.
I am of the point at which Tyranny become so blatant that the skeptics have to acknowledge its existence, But after doing so, they choose to rationalize it as necessary. Yes, there are many in this world that will laugh at the prospect of an Orwellian world! Your Enslavement. ~ TD, aka Professor X
