A minha casa vive aberta, abri todas as portas do coração
Água de beber, água de beber camará, água de beber, água de beber camará
Água de beber, água de beber camará

My very life is in your power, will I wither and fade or bloom to the sky

How to Solo Guitar Lesson
This guitar lesson will show how to solo on guitar using the minor scale to play flamenco riffs. This flamenco guitar lesson for beginners will also show how to phrase minor scale guitar riffs.
How to Phrase Guitar Riffs
After learning a few standard Minor scale riffs, the next step will be to focus on phrasing these riffs. If a guitar riff can be compared to a ‘musical sentence’, then phrasing is how ‘punctuation’ can be applied to a guitar
solo. Without phrasing, a guitar solo will sound rambling and disorganized in very much the same way as a ‘run-on sentence’ does with language. This flamenco guitar lesson for beginners will focus on the foundation of phrasing technique: the root note. This Flamenco guitar lesson will show how to phrase guitar riffs with the minor scale. This flamenco guitar lesson also features backing flamenco rhythm tracks in various keys.

Flamenco Guitar Tutorial
This flamenco guitar tutorial will show how to phrase and solo minor scale riffs with flamenco backing rhythms.
Minor Scale Riffs Guitar Lesson for Beginners
Learning how to solo and improvise is very much like learning to speak another language. With language, you learn and copy one sentence at a time. With music, you learn one riff or 'musical sentence' at a time. With this minor scale lesson, we'll learn how to play new flamenco guitar riffs and add then combine or connect them previous flamenco riffs and play along with several backing rhythm tracks in different keys.
Classic Minor Scale Flamenco Riffs
A riff can be described as a sort of ‘musical sentence’, and to solo and improvise with the Minor scale, a music vocabulary needs to be developed by copying and memorizing collection of standard or classic Minor scale riffs. There are many minor riffs that have been passed on from generation to generation of guitarists, and with this guitar lesson we'll show how to play a classic flamenco riff with the minor scale along with the minor scale box pattern. We'll then play the minor riff and box pattern along with various flamenco rhythm backing tracks in different keys.

"Wipeout" by the Surfaris Songfacts
"Wipe Out" is a surf rock instrumental composed by Bob Berryhill, Pat Connolly, Jim Fuller and Ron Wilson. Composed in the form of twelve-bar blues,[1] the tune was first performed and recorded by the Surfaris, who became famous with the single in 1963.
Bob Berryhill, Pat Connolly, Jim Fuller and Ron Wilson wrote "Wipe Out" almost on the spot while at Pal Recording Studio in Cucamonga, California, in late 1962, when they realized they needed a suitable B-side for the intended "Surfer Joe" single. One of the band members suggested introducing the song with a cracking sound, imitating a breaking surfboard, followed by a manic voice babbling, "ha ha ha ha ha, wipe out". The voice was that of the band's manager, Dale Smallin.
Berryhill said, “We met at a place in the California desert called Cucamonga, and recorded Surfer Joe. In those days 45’s required a B side so Dale asked us to play another song. We had not written a song before Surfer Joe so I suggested a drum solo type of song with simple guitar breaks.”
He added, “Ronnie started playing the famous Wipe Out solo and in about 10 minutes we had the song together. We needed a gimmick introduction so my Dad broke a plaster soaked board close to the mic and Dale Smallen let out a laugh and screamed wipe out. We gave Dale the master tape and he took it to Hollywood, and by July 1963 it was #2 on the Billboard top 100.”
The highlight of “Wipe Out” is Ron Wilson’s drum solo break.

Neil Young "Heart of Gold" Songfacts
Neil Young recorded "Heart of Gold" in 1971 for the album Harvest. Neil Young wrote "Heart of Gold" in 1971 after he suffered a back injury that made it difficult for him to play electric guitar, so on the Harvest album tracks he played acoustic.
Neil Young was in Nashville to record a performance for The Johnny Cash Show along with James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt. Elliot Mazer, a producer who owned nearby Quadrafonic Studios, set up a dinner party, inviting the show's guests. Mazer was friends with Young's manager Elliot Roberts, who introduced the two at the gathering. Young and Mazer quickly hit it off when Neil learned that Elliot has produced a band called Area Code 615. Young asked if he could set up a session the next day, and Mazer complied.
Mazur was able to get one member of Area Code 615: Drummer Kenny Buttrey. The other musicians he found were guitarist Teddy Irwin, bass player Tim Drummond, and pedal steel player Ben Keith. Keith, who had never heard of Neil Young, recalls showing up late and sitting down to play right away. He says they recorded five songs before they stopped for introductions.
James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt sang backup vocal on Neil Young's "Heart of Gold".

Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Songfacts
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" is a song by American rock band Nirvana. It is the opening track and lead single from Nirvana's 1991 second album, 'Nevermind'. The unexpected success of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" propelled Nirvana's 'Nevermind' to the top of several albums charts at the start of 1992, an event often marked as the point when grunge entered the mainstream
Smells Like Teen Spirit" was written following Nirvana's first recording sessions with producer Butch Vig in 1990. Kurt Cobain began writing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" a few weeks before recording NIrvana's second album, Nevermind, in 1991. Cobain said it was an attempt to write a song in the style of the Pixies, a band he admired:
I was trying to write the ultimate pop song. I was basically trying to rip off the Pixies. I have to admit it. When I heard the Pixies for the first time, I connected with that band so heavily that I should have been in that band—or at least a Pixies cover band. We used their sense of dynamics, being soft and quiet and then loud and hard.
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" is the only song on Nevermind to credit all three Nirvana band members as writers.

Guitar Lessons for Beginners
This beginner guitar lesson will show how to play a Blues solo on guitar. For beginners, the first step in learning how to solo on guitar is to learn easy to play classic blues riffs.
Classic Blues Riffs Guitar Lesson
A riff can be described as a sort of ‘musical sentence’, and in order to solo and improvise the Blues, a musical vocabulary needs to be developed by copying and memorizing a collection of standard classic Blues riffs. There are many Blues riffs that have been passed on from generation to generation, and some of these classics Blues riffs will be presented in this lesson.
How to Bend Strings Blues Lesson
‘Thē Blues Riff’ introduces two new soloing techniques for playing the Blues: bending and vibrato. In guitar tab, a bend is notated with an arrow. Use the first, second, and third fingers together to push or bend the third string toward the bottom strings. The first and second fingers are additional support fingers for bending. Using multiple fingers prevents the string from slipping, and also produces better tone.
Blues Vibrato Technique Guitar Lesson
Vibrato is a combination of shaking and sustaining a note. With vibrato, there isn’t as much of a change in pitch as there is with bending a string. Use the second finger as an additional support finger, and make sure both the second and third fingers are arched for better tone.
Practice Blues Riffs in Different Keys
Once the ‘A’ Blues riffs can be played, the next step will be to play the blues riffs along different fret positions or keys. For example, playing the blues riffs along the first fret position (‘F’) will be a great exercise because the fretting fingers are required to stretch more to reach the frets. Playing the blues riffs along the ninth fret position (‘Db’) is also beneficial because the frets positioned closer together require more focus to get clarity from each note played.

The Doors "Roadhouse Blues" Songfacts
When Jim Morrison got drunk, he liked to sing blues numbers at The Doors jam sessions. 'Roadhouse Blues" in one of the songs he came up with at one of those inebriated sessions.
If there was an actual roadhouse that inspired this song, it was probably the Topanga Corral, a windowless nightclub in the counterculture enclave of the Topanga Canyon, where Jim Morrison lived. To get to the venue you had to take Topanga Canyon Boulevard, which is full of twists and turns - you really did need to "keep your eyes on the road, your hand upon the wheel."
There was a cabin behind the Topanga Corral that many sources say Morrison bought for his girlfriend, Pamela Courson. This could be what provided the line, "In back of the Roadhouse they got some bungalows."
John Sebastian from the Lovin' Spoonful played harmonica. He is identified on the album as "G. Puglese" because he was afraid to be identified with The Doors in light of Morrison's arrest at a concert in Miami when he was accused of exposing himself to the crowd. Morrison was convicted of indecent exposure and sentenced to six months in jail, but he died while the case was being appealed. In 2010, Florida governor Charlie Crist granted Morrison a pardon.
"Roadhouse Blues" is the first song on album "Morrison Hotel" by the Doors. "Morrison Hotel" was a return The Doors' earlier style. On The Doors previous album, "The Soft Parade", they used a lot of strings and horns. Morrison didn't do much on "The Soft Parade" because he was drunk for most of it and had nothing to do while all the instrumentation was being worked out. Before The Doors had a record deal, they played many Blues songs in their long club shows.

Gonna have a real
A good time
Yeah, the back of the Roadhouse they got some bungalows
Yeah, the back of the Roadhouse they got some bungalows
And that's for the people who like to go down slow
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll
All night long
You got to roll, roll, roll
You got to thrill my soul, all right
Roll, roll, roll, roll
To thrill my soul
You got to beep-a-gunk-a-chucha
Honk-konk-konk-kadanta
Each-ya-puna-ney-cha
Bap-pa-lula-ni-chao
Pao-pati-cha
Ni-saong-kong
Alright !
Ashen lady
Ashen lady
Give up your vows
Give up your vows
Save our city
Save our city
Right now
Well, I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer
Well, I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer
The future's uncertain and the end is always near
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll, baby, roll
Let it roll
All night long
The Doors "Roadhouse Blues" Songfacts

Root Notes Guitar Lesson
In the Key of ‘A’ Blues, ‘A’ would be considered the root note of that key. Within the 'A’ Pentatonic Minor box pattern, there are three ‘A’ root notes located on the first, fourth, and sixth strings. These fundamental root note positions remain the same for any key. In the Key of ‘B’ Blues for example, the three ‘B’ root notes would be located in the same root note positions, only two frets higher from the Key of ‘A’ Blues.
Phrasing Technique for Guitar
A root note focus establishes the mood or tone of a scale. Both the ‘Blues Riff in A’ and the ‘Bend & Release Riff in A’ each have a root note focus, with an ‘A’ root note being the last sustained note played in each blues riff. The ascending and descending riffs using the ‘A’ Pentatonic Minor box pattern also begin and end on ‘A’ root notes. When combining these blues riffs, sustaining the root notes provides more space between riffs, which is essential to developing phrasing technique.

Greensleeves Songfacts
Written in England sometime in the 1500's, ‘Greensleeves’ remains one of the world’s best-known folk songs. Greensleeves is a standard classical guitar song for beginners.
How to Play Greensleeves on Guitar
The proper approach is to memorize how to play 'Greensleeves' one section, and then one line at a time. Students will typically spend a few days practicing one line of Greensleeves before moving on to the next. With its classical influence, the obvious choice for a guitar to play for ‘Greensleeves’ would be a classical guitar with nylon strings, however a steel-string acoustic will work just as well.
How to Fingerpick Greensleeves on Guitar
When learning to play Greensleeves, many beginners tend to focus too much on the right hand, which often results in the left hand not being positioned properly to fret chords. When using fingerstyle technique, the plucking fingers are properly positioned or aligned over each string, which allows the eyes to focus more on the fretting hand for chord changes.
Learn to Play Greensleeves on Guitar
After learning one section at a time of 'Greensleeves', the focus will shift to playing ‘Greensleeves’ in its entirety by memory. Regardless of how slowly Greensleeves is played, the first step is to simply be able to perform a complete version of Greensleeves without relying on written notation. As long as it is known what should be played, the percentage of incorrect notes will eventually decrease with continuous practice of the complete arrangement of Greensleeves on guitar.

Allego Tempo
‘Allegro’ is the proper title for this arrangement, however ‘allegro’ is also a common musical term which means a ‘fast tempo’. Specifically, an allegro tem po will be between 120-160 beats per minute (‘bpm’). An ‘allegro’ setting can be found on most metronomes, which are devices used to keep time via ‘clicks’ for any instrument.
Allegro is the Italian word for lively or cheerful and is used in music. Allegro is not as fast as presto and is a little faster than allegretto.
How to Play with Allegro Tempo
Once ‘Allegro’ can be played with minimal errors and clarity, the final challenge will be to focus on tempo by maintaining a steady and consistent beat throughout the song. A steady tempo should be prioritized over speed. A slower version of ‘Allegro’ played with a steady tempo simply sounds better than a sped-up version without steady tempo. There are four beats per measure, and the entire piece can be played along with a four-beat tap. While playing ‘Allegro’, having an experienced musician simply ‘tapping’ along in person to help establish a beat is a good start to practicing tempo.
Mauro Giuliani
Mauro Giuseppe Sergio Pantaleo Giuliani (27 July 1781 – 8 May 1829) was an Italian guitarist, cellist, singer, and composer. He was a leading guitar virtuoso of the early 19th century. Giuliani's achievements as a composer were numerous. Giuliani's 150 compositions for guitar with opus number constitute the nucleus of the nineteenth-century guitar repertory. He composed extremely challenging pieces for solo guitar as well as works for orchestra.
