I installed security cameras in my van
So - part of living in a big/growing city is having more people. More people = more crime.
As part of preserving my entire life investments and mental stability I decided that no measures is too much and I secured my work van as much as I can. That includes: Screens and tinted windows. Padlocks on both doors in the back. An alarm with GPS and remote access through my phone. And the latest addition - Security camera with remote access and cloud backup. That way if the vehicles alarm goes off I can check the cameras and see that everything's OK + bonus if someone hits me it's recommended even if I'm parked and car isn't running.
No measures is enough - as a locksmith I'm well aware that nothing is fully secured... it's just a question of how long and how much damage is required to access your belongings.
Now I just need a gun lol
(What would I do if someone touched my shit - wave at them? Use karate?? Police is useless.. I am well aware.)

Simple rice method of cooking - recipe
It's very simple you just gotta follow the timing of it all or it might get burned in the begging ( If you're not constantly stirring and mixing) or at the end (if you don't close the heat off time) or it wouldn't cook properly if you remove it too early.
- So basically you use × 2 the amount of water to the rice. ( In this video I used long grain other types of rice use different quantities -There's usually instructions on the bag).
- You gotta oil up the pot
And mix the rice with whatever seasoning you want (I used just Salt, pepper and OSEM consume..)
- Cook that for a bit.
- Once it's boiling and before it gets burnt add the water.
Keep on stirring till the water starts boiling as well.
- Lower the temperature to about 2-3.
- Cover and let it cook for 14 minutes.
- Turn off oven/heat source but leave it on stove covered for another 8-9 minutes or so.
And that's about it!
Notes:
In the first 00:10 seconds I accidentally made up a word and said "The 'amounties' of rice = the amount of rice.. I ment:
00:10 "we put double the water of the amount of rice".
And at 02:15 I wrongly used the word 'simmering' ("Stay just below the boiling point while being heated") I actually ment cooking in low heat.

Brownies from Landmark Confections dark chocolate and Hershey's cocoa
Because I'm an idiot I had to plan this ahead in order not to mess up. this is how I did it:
First I watched a few YouTube videos how to make Brownies, I think I picked the 3rd out of 6 or something
(Original recipe: https://youtu.be/Z1OLG7F3HD4).
Once I picked a video I wrote down I watched it a few more times to break it down. I came to conclusion that this recipe has 3 'small separate recipes'/instruction parts that merge into the batter that later we pour into an oild pan - cool!
Once we established the orders of the mission we prepare all the ingredients and their portions
upfront:
Dark chocolate 200 grams
Butter 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Salt 1/4 tsp
Eggs 3
Vanilla 1 tsp
Baking powder 1/2 a tsp
Flour 1/2 a cup
Cocoa powder 1/4 cup.
You got 3 main bowls - The 1st bowl is the melted chocolate with the butter.
The second bowl is the Sugar Brown sugar Eggs Salt Vanilla Baking powder.
Third bowl just sifting flour with Cocoa.
Mix bowl 2 with 1. Add 3rd bowl and pour into an oild pan.
350° for 30 minutes in a pre heated oven
Good luck 👍🏼

SHNITZEL / Fried chicken (🇮🇱 style)
Thin sliced chicken breasts, Marinated in egg and spices.breaded and deep fried
This is the real deal! the one true ShniTz:
We use Chicken🐔 brest.
Slice them up! not too thin not to thick.
Smash it! I put a plastic bag so it wouldn't fall apart. You can use just egg and some spices but I have my own concoction: Sweet chili, mustard, mayo, garlic, consomme and as little as possible flower and water, Mixed to a thick batter. Half and hour to 3 let the chicken be marinated in the fridge - the longer the better.
There is many types of bread crumbs, seasoned bread crumbs, darker ones lighter ones panko, you can use cornflakes, you can do doritos, you can make your own..
I went for the simplistic option this time and added some sesame seeds. Cover them completely but Bread them lightly. Flip and dip don't tap it.
Fry it on high temperature for a few minutes till golden-brown - It's still going to be cooking for a few seconds when it comes out so don't hesitate to yenk'um out of there under a few seconds.
Just Don't let the oil burn.
It's good when it's hot, it's good when it first gets cold. Heat it up 8 minutes in the oven not microwave. You can freeze them spiced and breaded separately for meals all week. Just pull out of freezer, wait for it to thawed a bit and fry it for a quick meal.
Shnitz out!

Shawarma style Dark Chicken cutlets with rice and greens
Super simple: Just chop up some chicken or turkey, spice it up and mix it 'Mediterranean style' with Just Salt, pepper Olive oil and a blend of Shawarma seasoning from the local middlEast shop/section (I added some curry just to try it out). Fry that' chick a few minutes on almost high and/till we're golden!
I was not disappointed with the result one bit!
* I should also do a video showing how I cook rice..

I tried the Pillsbury's Classic Fudge Brownie Mix
I was gonna make it from scratch but I couldn't find Cocoa powder at the dollar store so I decided to just try the basic 'Pillsbury's Classic Fudge Brownie' (10.25 oz) - ingredients are pretty simple [Just add an egg 2tbsp of water and a 1/3 cup oil] but I've even managed to "fudged" that up, and I added a bit too much water.. so I countered with some flour till it was a bit less liquidy.. still kinda good!
Next time ill make it from scratch.
