NEW Mercedes-Maybach EQS680 SUV 2024 #new_car #mercedes #maybach #EQS680 #2024cars
Mercedes decks out its new top-flight electric SUV with an abundance of distinguishing characteristics compared to the standard EQS range. A pinstripe-patterned grille with Maybach branding on top resides near the upright Mercedes star on the hood for instant recognizability. If you're carrying the key, which feels as solid as an ingot, the Maybach EQS680 greets you with a dazzling LED light show upon approach and follows up with a similar display from the puddle lights when the doors open.
Based on the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, the Maybach version layers on the brand's characteristic veneer of cushy comfort and extra glitz. The extra glitz starts up front with a Maybach-specific look. In place of the large front grille of the brand's gas-powered models, those characteristic vertical chrome bars are instead rendered in a solid front fascia. The stand-up hood ornament is another nod to tradition, although you'll note that it's a Mercedes three-pointed star rather than the Maybach logo. Not to worry, there are numerous Maybach logos scattered about the exterior. The outer pods in the lower front bumper, for instance, each contain a mass of logos.
The extra-large wheels (21-inch at launch with 22s to follow) with their solid-disc appearance are another Maybach brand cue, as is the thick band of brightwork outlining the side windows. Two-tone paint is optional. Running boards are standard and are illuminated.
For the chauffeur, the environs are not much changed from those of the Mercedes EQS SUV, although the pedals have been dressed up. The Hyperscreen is present, of course, and there's a Maybach-specific welcome screen and instrument-cluster display option. There's also a Maybach-exclusive choice among the artificial "soundscapes" available if passengers don't want to cue up anything on the standard 4D Burmeister stereo. There's also an exclusive fragrance for the built-in ionizer: No. 12 Mood Ebony. Disappointingly, it doesn't smell like money, instead pairing sandalwood and spices.
In place of the EQS580 SUV's 536-hp powertrain, the Maybach EQS SUV borrows a more potent set of electric motors from Mercedes-AMG. The front and rear motors are good for 649 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque, the same as in the Mercedes-AMG EQS sedan —although it's missing the AMG's boost function that temporarily bumps output to 751 horsepower. Still, Mercedes is claiming a 4.1-second 0-to-60-mph time.
For sonic stimulation, there's a standard 15-speaker sound system from Burmester that's notable for its two large speakers mounted on the luggage cover. Mercedes-Maybach claims this is a 4D arrangement as there are also exciters in the seats to provide a physical sensation to accompany the audio. We'll let you arrive at your own conclusion on that one, but from a more objective standpoint the sound system is also compatible with the Dolby Atmos surround-sound format, which is available through streaming services including Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Tidal. It's a niche feature aimed primarily at audiophiles, but regardless of the format you use, the Burmester sound system is crisp and free of distortion.
The suspension, with air springs and adaptive dampers, gets a Maybach-specific tune, while a "Maybach" drive setting replaces the default Comfort mode and prioritizes a smooth ride for rear-seat passengers. Four-wheel steering (with the rear wheels turning up to 10 degrees) is standard here, to aid maneuverability.
A 108.4-kW battery (same as in the Benz version) is said to be good for 372 miles of range on the European WLTP cycle. The Maybach EQS adopts the front-axle disconnect just introduced in the EQE SUV as well as that model's heat-pump HVAC system. The Maybach EQS is capable of recharging at up to 200 kilowatts.
A trap door between the rear seatbacks accesses a refrigerated compartment. That's where you'd keep the chilled champagne, and the center console has two sets of cupholders, one with clips at the bottom to hold stemware (such as the available silver-plated champagne flutes). The fridge unit, though, takes up a significant portion of the trunk space, so it's designed to be easily removed if the journey calls for more Louis Vuitton cases and fewer chilled champagne bottles. The rear console also includes a removable tablet, and there are 11.6-inch infotainment screens in the front seatbacks. On the C-pillars, stylized lamps again feature the Maybach logo, and the ambient lighting adds Maybach-exclusive color schemes. There are also pillows, small ones attached to the front and rear headrests with larger throw pillows for the rear-seat passengers.

NEW HYUNDAI i10 Nline REVIEW 2024 #new_car #hyundai #i10 #nline #review #car_2024
Hyundai Motor has revealed the new i10 - which arrives with an upgraded and refreshed design. Customers have the option to purchase the sporty i10 N Line variant, which is inspired by Hyundai's high-performance N models.
The company has also added advanced connectivity features, comfort elements, and technologies that are usually only seen in higher segments. This progressive move makes the model even more competitive in its class.
The new Hyundai i10 has seen a design upgrade both in and out compared to the original, which launched in 2019. The model now boasts a sportier stance and gives off a bolder feeling thanks to its low roof and long wheelbase.
It will come in nine exterior colours - two of which are new: Lumen Grey, a bright and light grey colour with a pearl finish, and Meta Blue with its bluish-violet colour reflections and pearl finish - and a black two-tone roof.
The inner part of the multi-face reflector headlamps, as well as the front and rear LED signature, have been redesigned. The front LED Day Running Lights (DRL) have been integrated into the sporty wide front grille, which features a new honeycomb mesh design. Additionally, the rear LED-combined lights now display an 'H' on the horizontal tailgate line. The model also features newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the model is outfitted with blue mood lamps in the front seats. A new colour package, the Purple Package, brings a sense of playfulness to the car's sporty exterior design. It offers tartan fabric seats with vertical purple lines, as well as purple touches in the stitching and air vents. Grey touchpoints with a purple sheen, as seen in the crash pad and lower central console, add extra style.
The Hyundai i10 N Line has design features inspired by motorsport, including bespoke bumpers, inserts, and red touches. The backs of the seats feature triple red line fabric, and the model comes with new 16-inch alloy wheels.
Seamless connectivity features not only make the new i10 more technologically advanced, but they also make the in-car experience more convenient. New technologies in the model include a standard 4.2-inch LCD cluster, USB type-C in the front and rear, second-generation eCall based on the 4G network, and Over The Air (OTA) map updates. However, the model remains consistent with the 8-inch display screen, Audio Video Navigation (AVN), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The model also comes standard with more Hyundai Smart Sense safety features. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) for 'City', 'Interurban', and 'Pedestrian' has also been expanded to include 'Cyclist'. FCA helps detect and avoid potential accidents with obstacles ahead. Lane Following Assist (LFA) uses steering control to help the car stay in the current lane of travel. Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) reminds the driver with a message in the cluster if the rear door had been opened during the journey - to prevent anyone or anything in the rear seat from being left behind.
The new Hyundai i10 remains a practical choice for European drivers. Progressive in the A-segment, the model is outfitted with power folding mirrors. And like its predecessor, it offers a boot capacity of 252 litres with the seats up and 1,050 litres with the seats folded, a two-stage luggage board, one-handed rear seat folding, and a rear-view camera.

NEW Genesis X Gran Berlinetta 2024 #new_car #genesis #GranBerlinetta #2024cars
Genesis today unveiled the X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept at the Gran Turismo World Series World Finals in Barcelona, Spain. The concept car was created as part of Polyphony Digital’s Vision Gran Turismo series and will be available to race in the game from January 2024.
The 2024 X Gran Berlinetta VGT Concept embodies the most emotional expression of the Genesis brand’s characteristic Athletic Elegance design philosophy. The Concept was born from a design study that demonstrates Genesis’ passion and intent for the Vision Gran Turismo series.
Genesis goal was to create a timeless design rooted in the essence of motorsport,” says John Krsteski, Genesis Senior Chief Designer. “We have an incredibly diverse global design team that are car and racing enthusiasts. The designers relished the opportunity to create a race car that featured Genesis design elements as well as technical performance attributes. It has become a catalyst of inspiration for our other programs.”
The X Gran Berlinetta VGT Concept sports Genesis’ new front fascia, which abstracts the Crest Grille and links it with the Quad Lights. This structures the volumes and connects the front and rear with Genesis’ Two Lines brand identifier in a lightweight aerodynamic construction. Flowing through the bodyside past the gently arching front fender, the parabolic gesture is a sculpturally dominant feature, accentuating the powerful rear fender forms.
High performance was clearly the goal for Genesis designers, who worked to achieve impressive aerodynamic fluidity. By integrating aerodynamic aids and orchestrating internal and laminar flows, the Genesis X Gran Berlinetta VGT Concept’s drag coefficient stands at just 0.34.
The X Gran Berlinetta VGT Concept’s interior derives Genesis’ Beauty of White Space attitude by creating a purist environment for the pilot. The essential functions are prioritized to maximize focus while on the race track.
The carbon cabin strategically incorporates soft touch points wherever the driver comes into contact. The quilted, padded bolsters protect the pilot while racing and while exiting and entering the car during pit stops.
The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta VGT Concept is powered by a front mid-mounted Lambda 11 V6 engine, electrically assisted by Genesis E-SC technology.

Dodge Charger SRT 2023 | Hellcat #dodge #chargers #srt #2023 #hellcat
One look at the 2023 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and you know that this four-door sedan is something very different. The current-generation Charger debuted for the 2005 model year, and since then Dodge has strapped more and more powerful engines to its chassis. A supercharged V-8 engine is under the hood of the latest versions and it makes at least 717 horsepower. Opt for a Redeye model and horsepower is boosted to 797—and with the Jailbreak package that number is an even more insane 807 ponies. While the Charger SRT Hellcat is more at home at a drag strip than on a road course it actually holds its own in corners, something we proved years ago at our Lightning Lap event. Its monstrous acceleration puts it in league with high-dollar rivals such as the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S and Porsche Panamera Turbo S, but the Hellcat’s down-market cabin isn’t anything like those luxury models’. Still, if you’re looking for a muscle car with room for the kiddies—and the performance to make them giggle and shout—the Hellcat is one guaranteed thrill ride.
Dodge is celebrating what will be the final model year for the current generation Charger SRT Hellcat by making the Jailbreak package available on both the Redeye and non-Redeye models. All 2023 Chargers will come with a special “Last Call” plaque under the hood to commemorate the final production run before Dodge switches to a new generation of performance cars featuring electrified powertrains.
Without a doubt, the Hellcat's main attraction is its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. If you haven't heard, it now makes 717 horsepower along with 650 pound-feet of torque. The Redeye model features an enhanced version of the Hellcat engine, which generates 797 horses and 707 pound-feet. With the aptly named Jailbreak package the Redeye gets a boost to 807 horsepower. These ultimate Chargers will leave no one wanting for power, all of which is directed to the rear wheels through a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. The regular Hellcat we tested blasted to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and completed the quarter-mile in 11.9 seconds at 124 mph. The Hellcat Redeye we tested hit 60 mph in 3.5 ticks and covered the quarter in 11.5 seconds at 126 mph. Of course, this unreal performance doesn't come without a price, and drivers must carefully apply the gas pedal to maintain traction. And those big rear tires are expensive to replace. The standard widebody setup that we drove helps improve the supersedan's body control and cornering grip thanks to wider, stickier tires and stiffer chassis components. Still, the widebody Hellcat's front tires don't communicate as much to the steering wheel as we'd like.
Every Charger SRT Hellcat has an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Its large screen responded quickly to inputs and the physical knobs and buttons make the interface easy to use. Want to rock out while doing massive burnouts? Dodge offers a thumping 19-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system.
While the high-powered sedan includes basic driver-assistance technology, more advanced assists such as adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking are unavailable. For more information about the Charger's crash-test results, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites. NEW Dacia Duster 2024 | FIRST LOOK #new_car #dacia #duster #2024cars #first_look
NEW Dacia Duster 2024 | FIRST LOOK #new_car #dacia #duster #2024cars #first_look
There are four trim levels for the new Duster. Essential kicks things off and it’s followed by Expression, while at the top of the range there’s a split between the Journey model and the slightly more off-road-focused Extreme.
The front end sees a new grille and headlight arrangement, wherein the parallel lines across the grille flow into the daytime-running light signature. Along the flanks, the rear door handle has been hidden in the C-pillar and the roofline slopes down to the rear for a sleeker profile.
The new architecture also means a fresh selection of powertrains and, for the first time in a Duster, electrification. There’s the Hybrid 140, as seen on the Jogger, blending a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and starter-generator for a total output of 138bhp. Dacia says the Duster Hybrid 140 will be able to drive in all-electric mode for up to 80 per cent of the time in cities, thanks to the set-up’s 1.2kWh battery. As with the Jogger, the full-hybrid Duster will be available only with an automatic gearbox.
Dacia is one of the few car makers in Europe to continue to offer an LPG and this will continue with the TCe 100 Bi-Fuel. But unlike with the two hybrids, there’s no word yet on whether this variant will be available in the UK. The Duster Bi-Fuel comes with an impressive 807-mile range, thanks to two fuel tanks (one for petrol and the other for LPG).
Inside, the cabin blends Dacia's down-to-earth, low-cost feel with modern elements that prevent it from feeling like a dour econobox. The use of straight lines and sharp angles brings a visual robustness that is backed up by a washable fabric upholstery on the Extreme trim and rubber floor mats, 20 percent of which come from recycled materials. The air vents borrow the Y-shaped motif from the headlights, and the 10.1-inch central touchscreen is angled toward the driver and supplemented by a 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster.
Both the 10.1-inch screen and Dacia’s newly revised infotainment offering are available on the Expression trim level and up. The system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity, plus a reversing camera. Expression also gets a larger seven-inch driver’s display and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Dacia offers an array of powertrains. The Hybrid 140 pairs a 94-hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder with a pair of electric motors; one serves as a high-voltage starter-generator and the other sends 49 hp to the wheels. A 1.2-kWh battery provides the juice, and with the regenerative brakes, Dacia says the Duster can drive in all-electric mode up to 80 percent of the time. This powertrain is connected to a four-speed automatic gearbox.
The TCe 130, meanwhile, combines a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder with a 48-volt electric motor and a 0.8-kWh battery to improve fuel efficiency and help with acceleration. A six-speed manual is the only gearbox available on both the front- and four-wheel-drive versions of the 130. Lastly, the Duster offers the ECO-G 100, a turbo 1.0-liter three-cylinder that packs two 13.2-gallon tanks, one of which holds gasoline and another that holds liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Dacia claims that running on LPG releases 10 percent less carbon dioxide than gasoline, and the Duster can switch between the two fuel sources at the press of a button.
Owners who wish to leave the pavement will be helped by a terrain-control function fitted to 4x4 models that has five modes, including Snow, Mud/Sand, and Eco, which redistributes torque to the front and rear axles to limit fuel consumption while still providing the requisite grip. Four-wheel-drive Dusters have 8.5 inches of ground clearance, and the rugged little ute boasts a 31 degree approach angle and 36 degree departure angle. There's also a hill-descent-control function, and the central screen displays vital off-road-relevant information.
Dacia is offering outdoorsy accessories, including a roof rack that easily snaps onto the roof bars and can hold up to 176 pounds.
New driving modes have been added to the Duster, to give it more off-road ability. The “4x4 Terrain Control transmission” includes five settings; Auto distributes power between the front and rear, depending on the vehicle’s speed and grip, Snow optimises traction for slippery surfaces,In summary
In summary
Dacia, owned by Renault, has revealed a new Duster, which appears to carry on the same cheap-but-capable mantra of the outgoing model.
The new Duster looks far more distinctive, however, with expressive lighting and a tough stance.
The Duster comes with two different hybrid powertrains as well as an unusual one that can run on gasoline and liquified petroleum gas (LPG).

New Aitekx RoboTruck |Cybertruck FIRST LOOK #new_car #car_2024 #Aitekx #RoboTruck #first_look
Amidst the vanishing acts of countless dubious EV startups, there remain brave souls eager to plunge into that enigmatic abyss. Allow us to introduce you to Aitekx.
Who are they you ask? An “innovative AI e-mobility company [that] brings you to the feasible and conceivable future.” If you’re not sold yet, just wait until we tell you about their “AI clean energy vehicles and mobility robotics development and manufacturing with its AI optimized productization technology.”
With that glorious introduction out of the way, let’s delve deeper and look at the RoboTruck 1T. It’s a wedge-shaped pickup, which bears more than a passing resemblance to the Tesla Cybertruck.
That being said, the model has sculpted bodywork, stylish lighting units, and an tiny greenhouse. We can also see massive wheels and what appears to be an Avalanche-like midgate.
The company says the mid-size pickup measures 188-198 inches (4,775-5,029 mm) long and has a 6.1 foot (1,859 mm) bed. However, the midgate will apparently enable the truck to haul items that are 9.5 feet (2,896 mm) long with the tailgate closed. The firm goes on to say with the midgate down and the tailgate open, the truck can haul items up to 11.5 feet (3,505 mm) long.
Aitekx envisions single and crew cab configurations as well as models with rear- and all-wheel drive. The latter would have a dual-motor setup and there will apparently be a performance variant.
Details are hazier than a Canadian wildfire, but the company claims the truck will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and have a top speed of “165m/h.” Aitekx went on to claim an EPA range of up to 550 miles (885 km).
If that hasn’t scared you off, the company is accepting reservations for $100 and they also have plans for a 1V SUV. The latter will have a “3-raw seats option for 7-8 passengers or 2-raw seats with large cargo space.” That’s some interesting language, especially for a “US Corporation located in Silicon Valley, California.”
Despite all the skepticism, the truck is indeed ‘real.’ What we can only assume to be a prototype version is currently being displayed at the Los Angeles Auto Show. However, in the real world, it falls noticeably short of the lofty promises set by the renderings, a fact that becomes even more evident.

New Lucid SUV Gravity 2025 #new_car #lucid #suv #gravity #2025 #car_2025
Lucid Gravity Is a Compelling Family EV with 440-Mile Range
Lucid took the wraps off the much-anticipated Gravity all-electric SUV today at the Los Angeles auto show, and it's a stunner. It makes a strong impression, but this notion comes from style, not size. The Gravity's shape is smooth and sleek, with a raked roofline that subtly tapers into a graceful tail spoiler. Lucid says the drag coefficient will come in under 0.24 when the available air suspension is at highway cruising height, which is unheard of in this class.
It is, however, incredibly spacious inside, thanks to the same compact electric motors and low-slung central battery pack that give the Lucid Air sedan its low roofline.
Lucid says the drag coefficient will come in under 0.24 when the available air suspension is at highway cruising height, which is unheard of in this class.
The Gravity's wheelbase is longer than the Air's by an unspecified amount, and the two-level battery stack found under an Air's rear seat has been shifted forward under the Gravity's front seats, which had to be positioned higher anyway in true SUV fashion.
With these changes, the Gravity's design team was able to reoptimize the already low platform base to good effect, delivering a surprising amount of interior volume without the need for a sky-high roof. (It is a glass roof, so that helps.) As a result, all three rows can fit adults comfortably, and access is simplified by wide-opening side doors. The rear ones open a full 90 degrees, in fact. At the hatch, the floor is uncommonly low, even among crossovers, with third row seats that fold and fully disappear into a rear storage well, akin to a minivan. Because of the battery's low height, the middle row seats are also articulated, which means they can fold flat to the same level. All told, the seven-seater's maximum cargo space exceeds 112 cubic feet, while the five-seat version will be good for 120 cubic feet. Meanwhile, the vehicle itself stands less than six feet tall.
But there's more. The Gravity has a front trunk, and it holds more than eight cubic feet. The lower edge of the "hood" extends low enough that two adults can tailgate (or perhaps it's nosegate) in the frunk using the accessory seat cushion that Lucid offers. They've even molded cupholders into the flanks of the frunk's lining.
At launch, all Lucid Gravity SUVs will be fitted with a version of the dual-motor all-wheel drive platform that powers the sedan's Dream Edition, Grand Touring, and Touring models. No specific slate of Gravity power outputs or battery sizes has been revealed, but Lucid has said it will use an evolution of the brand's 900-volt architecture. They also say the highest performing variant will deliver range "in excess of 440 miles" and be capable of reaching 60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds.
They also say its ultrafast DC fast-charge rate will replenish 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes. For reference, the Air Dream Edition was rated at 1111 horsepower and 520 miles of range, and it had a claimed zero-to-60-mph time of 2.5 seconds.
Assuming all else is equal, the reduced range and less breathtaking acceleration of the SUV seems completely understandable on account of its taller roofline and boxier shape. There's no doubt it weighs more, too. But something else is in play, and that is the shorter final-drive ratio (numerically larger, but they have not yet revealed the spec) that's been utilized to give the Gravity SUV better off-road creeping performance and a usable degree of towing capability. The latter is rated at 6000 pounds, while the former is aided by an optional Zero Gravity air suspension that offers at least four height modes. The elevated off-road settings are manual driver selections, while the lower ones are mostly mode and speed dependent.
To sum up, we can draw the following conclusions
The Lucid Gravity is a premium electric SUV that will be offered in a three-row configuration with six- or seven-passenger seating or a two-row version that seats five.
Lucid expects 440 miles of maximum range and a 60-mph time of 3.5 seconds, via a compact and efficient dual electric motor powertrain derived from the Air sedan.
The starting price will come in under $80,000, with production and deliveries of the initial Dream Edition scheduled for late 2024.

NEW FERRARI SP 8 2024 #new_car #ferrari #sp_8 #car_2024
Ferrari will put the SP-8 on display at the Mugello Circuit and then at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello before being delivered to the owner in Taiwan in March 2024.
Reflect for a moment on the idea that the Ferrari F8 Spider is an exciting and special car with its own merits. Now consider how much more special it could be as a one-of-one special-edition roadster designed and built by Ferrari's Special Projects program. Ponder no more, as one incredibly wealthy (we're assuming on that part) Ferrari customer worked with the brand to create the one-off SP-8 roadster.
The new special-edition Ferrari derives its look, performance, and name from the F8 Spider. Ferrari neglected to give performance specifics for the SP-8, but the twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V-8 mounted behind the seats produces 710 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque in the F8. Those are the same figures as the performance-oriented 488 Pista, and the engine is claimed to propel the car to repeatable sub-3.0-second times to 60 mph.
While the F8 is a droptop convertible, the special edition bids a heartfelt arrivederci to the roof, instead opting for a roadster format. According to Ferrari, losing the roof required a combination of simulations, wind-tunnel testing, and track testing to bring the standard for comfort to the same level as the F8.
The styling for the SP-8 is clearly descended from the F8, though the one-0ff adds its own personality throughout. The front end is redone, with a longer, more assertive splitter. The front half of the car is finished in an unpainted glossy iridescent Blue Sandstone carbon fiber, while the rear bodywork is finished in a matte Argento Micalizzato gray paint. Ferrari says the exclusive five-spoke wheels represent a modern take on the brand's classic prototypes as well as harking back to the alloy wheels on the F40.
As is generally the case with Ferrari Special Projects cars, the manufacturer neglected to give out price details. Whatever the figure is, it's sure to be much higher than the roughly $330,000 starting price of the F8 Spider.
It will then be displayed at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from November 16 until March 2024 before the owner takes delivery of the car in Taiwan.

TOYOTA CAMRY 2025 All the Changes #toyota #camry #2025 #all_changes
TOYOTA CAMRY 2025 All the Changes #toyota #camry #2025 #allChanges
Toyota just unveiled its newest Camry sedan, and the omnipresent four-door is entering its ninth generation since first going on sale for the 1983 model year over 40 years ago. The most recent Camry, introduced for 2018, was the most aggressively styled ever and infused with more sportiness than any Camry before it—so, which direction did Toyota take the new 2024 model? Though the latest midsize Toyota is by the automaker's own admission a heavily revised take on the current model, it makes a few big leaps forward, including adopting a hybrid-only powertrain lineup, new interior displays, and even sleeker styling. We lined up the new Camry alongside the outgoing version to highlight the biggest differences inside and out.
This view best highlights how similar the new Camry and the old one are underneath—just look at the side doors and roofline. They're essentially identical between the 2024 and 2025 Camrys, a typical sign that two cars share an underlying body structure.
If the old Camry looks somewhat ordinary in profile, its nose is anything but. Toyota offered two basic styling packages for the last-generation Camry, with the sportier SE and XSE model wearing the grille-tastic setup pictured here and more traditionally styled LE and XLE trims wearing toned-down bumpers and wider grilles without extra corner intakes.
Much like how the previous Camry's look was divided along trim level lines, so, too, were its badges separated by powertrain. Buy a gas-fed Camry—which came with either a 2.5-liter I-4 or a 3.5-liter V-6—and your sedan wore plain chrome Toyota badges front and rear. Opt for a hybrid, and those badges came with a blue accent. Hybrids also got "HYBRID" trunklid badges next to a little blue-and-chrome squiggle.
Where before only hybrid variants wore the blue-tinged Toyota badges front and rear (as have all hybrid Toyota products for years), the new Camrys do away with it altogether. Which is strange, of course, given that you can only buy a 2025 Camry with hybrid power.
There is a lot going on on the old Camry's tail—starting with that faux diffuser element jutting from the lower bumper. Again, this is the sportier SE trim, but every 2018-2024 Camry got this swoopy backlight and those teardrop-tattoo-like creases dripping from each taillight.
Toyota giveth ergonomics, and Toyota taketh them away. Entry level LE and SE Camrys get a smaller 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster and an 8.0-inch touchscreen, while XLE and XSE variants get the larger 12.3-inch.
Rear seat space in the old Camry is adequate, with decent (though not quite Accord-matching) legroom and a nice cushion height. Unlike the latest Accord, the Camry offered rear-seat air vents and USB ports; those niceties are limited to the range-topping Accord Touring—a veritable sin on such a large car.
Given how the 2025 Camry is, effectively, a 2024 Camry in fresher drag, we suspect cabin space to remain virtually the same. That said, equipment levels take a big leap forward, especially on the standard side of things. Even the base Camry LE an SE models get the aforementioned digital gauge cluster displays, plus dual-zone climate control, a Qi wireless phone charger, 16-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights, and a smart key with pushbutton starting.
Toyota's Camry lineup was crowded with choices—there were effectively parallel product lines, one with gas power and the other with hybrid motivation. The entry-level gas version were powered by a 2.5-liter I-4 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and produced between 202 and 206 hp and 182 and 186 lb-ft of torque depending on trim; all-wheel drive was optional only with those four-cylinder engines. Toyota was an outlier in continuing to offer its midsize sedan with a naturally aspirated V-6 engine, in this case a 3.5-liter good for 301 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque; the V-6 came standard on the sportiest Camry TRD model.
The Camry hybrid delivered markedly better fuel economy than either gas-only option, combining a 2.5-liter I-4 with a pair of electric motors and a planetary-type continuously variable automatic transmission to spin the front tires. The gas engine contributed 176 hp and 163 lb-ft of torque, while the primary electric motor added in 118 hp and 149 lb-ft; stir in the third motor, a starter-generator, and total system output stood at a decent 208 hp.

TOYOTA C-HR 2024 #toyota #c_hr_2024 #car_2024 #new_car
The 2024 Toyota C-HR small SUV has been hit with significant price increases for the new-generation model, due in Australia between January to March next year.
Revealed in June, the second-generation C-HR adopts more radical styling and more advanced technology than its predecessor alongside a switch to hybrid-only power – the first non-Prius model from Toyota in Australia to not be available with conventional petrol or diesel power.
The new Toyota C-HR is designed to stand out through its distinctive styling, which enhances the iconic coupe silhouette with dynamic diamond-cut character lines for a striking bold look.
A 35mm wider stance is further complemented by new larger alloy wheels - up to an imposing 20 inches - and a 25mm shorter front overhang as part of a condensed package that looks poised and dynamic from every angle.
At the front, the 3D architecture and hammerhead face are reinterpreted to include spectacular full LED headlamps integrated along with the turn signals within an eyecatching arrow-shaped design.
A stylish selection of exterior colours is available, including the new signature Sulphur and Precious Silver colours which are exclusively offered for 'bi-tone+' models in the first year of launch, alongside Emotional Red and Ash Grey. Dark Teal and Deep Amethyst perfectly match the new Toyota C-HR's sophisticated looks, while Dark Grey, Dynamic Grey, Black, Super White, Silver Metallic and Platinum White Pearl are elegant alternatives.
Inside the cabin, the Toyota C-HR's renowned sensory quality has been taken to new heights thanks to a comprehensive upgrade of materials combined with new highquality details to generate an exceptional, harmonious interior experience.
A wing concept consists of a slim horizontal instrument panel that is perfectly integrated with the door panels and centre console to wrap the occupants and generate a warm, welcoming space. The multimedia display is combined seamlessly, while selected grades include a custom-built fade-effect metal JBL speaker with superior sound quality, a first for Toyota.
A driver-focused zone ensures all control elements and vehicle information are intelligently located to keep hands on the wheel and eyes on the road, including a head-up display, depending on the vehicle grade.
Style contributes to practicality when it comes to storage and charging options. The slimline wing design allows an additional tray to be integrated above the glove box, offering a convenient new storage option. Within the centre console, there is a tray large enough to hold two mobile phones. Compared to the previous Toyota C-HR, the new generation also benefits from an increased trunk capacity.
A unique panoramic glass roof, available on mid+, high and GR SPORT grades, provides a lighter, more spacious feeling. Using innovative low-emissive and infrared- reducing coatings, it keeps heat inside the cabin on cooler days and prevents overheating in sunny weather. Reaching a comfortable temperature with reduced need for air conditioning, allied with a 5kg weight saving achieved by eliminating the need for a conventional sunshade, enhances efficiency. Passengers also enjoy more space thanks to 3 cm additional headroom.
The Toyota C-HR GXL and Koba are powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine – developing 72kW/142Nm – and a 70kW/185Nm electric motor, claimed to deliver 103kW combined to the front wheels.
The range-topping C-HR GR Sport will be equipped with a larger 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine (112kW/190Nm) and two electric motors (83kW front, 30kW rear), driving all four wheels and producing up to 145kW combined.
Standard equipment for the Toyota C-HR GXL includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen (with wireless/wired Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto), a 7.0-inch driver instrument display, six-speaker audio system, automatic dual-zone climate control and rain-sensing wipers.
Stepping up to the C-HR Koba adds bi-LED headlights (with automatic levelling and high-beams), 19-inch alloy wheels, heated fabric and suede-upholstered front sports seats (with power adjustment for the driver), a 12.3-inch digital instrument screen, and a nine-speaker JBL sound system – among other upgrades.
Finally the flagship C-HR GR Sport adds a unique set of 19-inch alloy wheels, GR Sport-specific exterior highlights, upgraded brakes, a heated steering wheel, and GR-branded synthetic leather and suede front seats.
All examples of the 2024 Toyota C-HR are also equipped with autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane-keep assist, lane trace assist, adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera.
The new Toyota C-HR range includes two Premiere Edition models, showcasing the highest levels of equipment and styling. Both come with the striking new 'bi-tone+· colour scheme as standard.

New RENAULT ARKANA 2024 FACELIFT #new #renault #arkana #2024 #facelift
New RENAULT ARKANA 2024 FACELIFT #new #renault #arkana #2024 #facelift
Unveiled in October 2020 in its European version, Renault Arkana is a shining example of the Renaulution’s success. Renault has sold 163,000 of this distinguished-looking Coupe SUV.
The aerodynamic blade that became an R.S. Line and E-Tech Engineered version hallmark is now on the bumper of the line-up’s Techno and Esprit Alpine trims. It is the same colour as the body in the Techno version and Satin Grey in the Esprit Alpine version.
The logo at the centre of the tailgate is Dark Chrome, matching the one at the front as well as the lettering and tailpipes. The lights have ever-so-slightly smoked crystal-like covers to add a modern touch.
The chrome on the decorative features (grille, window rims, etc.) has been replaced by Black, Satin Black or Deep Glossy Black depending on the version.
This engine is unparalleled on the market, the driving pleasure it offers is unprecedented and its energy efficiency is outstanding. It is the second criterion buyers look at when choosing a car, behind design.
The New Arkana, combines an original fluid feel, imposing demeanour and heavy-duty build with Renault’s new identity, to ride even higher on the “Nouvelle Vague”.
The Nouvel’R logo’s design provides the basis for the new pattern on the grille – a deliberately unstructured assortment of diamonds reverberating around the one in the middle.
One of the exterior features is the Satin Gry blade on the front bumper. Another is the Shale Grey badge nestled in Deep Glossy Black on the wing trim. It also comes with new 19-inch openwork wheels that add to its stateliness as much as is sportiness. A new aileron cut to match the roof enhances the tailgate’s aerodynamics.
Inside, the seats are a mixture of Eco Tep (10% bio-sourced materials) and imitation suede (more than in the former R.S. Line and E-Tech Engineered high-end models). The seats now come with blue horizontal overstitching and the Alpine logo on the back, and the safety belts with two blue stripes.
The inside of the doors and the steering wheel have red, white and blue stitching and the cladding on the dashboard area facing the front passenger seat is slate-like for an elegant, low-key effect.
The New Arkana line-up has been slimmed down to three trims: Evolution, Techno and Esprit Alpine.
The driving pleasure from the E-Tech full hybrid 145 horsepower powertrain is like nothing else: it is as smooth in electric mode as it is vigorous and efficient. It interlinks two electric motors (a 36 kW main motor and an 18 kW High-Voltage Starter Generator) with a 4-cylinder 1.6 litre 69 kW (94 horsepower) petrol engine, a smart multi-mode clutch-less dog box and a 1.2 kWh battery.
The gearbox manages 4 ratios on the petrol engine and 2 ratios on the main electric motor. With the E-Tech full hybrid powertrain, in other words, you have up to 14 possible combinations between the engine and motor to optimise energy efficiency.
The car invariably starts in electric mode and can run on the electric motor alone for up to 80% of the time in cities, which cuts consumption by up to 40% compared to a standard petrol engine.
The New Arkana’s E-Tech full hybrid 145 horsepower powertrain includes e-save feature. You can select it on the vehicle’s centre screen in the vehicle’ settings, or via the driving mode in versions that come with MULTI-SENSE settings, and it keeps the battery’s charge at 40% at least, so you have that extra backup to keep on driving in electric mode if you need to, or to assist the engine on steep uphill slopes.
In addition to the car’s reassuring road hold, the New Arkana’s rear wheels adjust to keep it remarkably steady when you negotiate bends at high speeds. Lateral movement is limited, even on the jaggedest of roads. The precise and direct steering boost the chassis’ performance, and the short kerb-to-kerb turning diameter (11.2 metres) adds to its agility.
A new distinctive look to establish this C-segment Coupe SUV in Renault’s new line-up
A new high-end Esprit Alpine version with a sporty-chic vibe
An assertive move upmarket with three trims and a wider choice of technology
Driving pleasure combined with fuel savings with the E-Tech full hybrid 145 horsepower powertrain

New TOYOTA YARIS CROSS 2024 | FIRST LOOK #new_car #toyota #yaris #cross #2024 #first_look
New TOYOTA YARIS CROSS 2024 | FIRST LOOK #new_car #toyota #yaris #cross #2024 #first_look
The Yaris Cross has been a huge hit for Toyota since it launched in 2021 and while it’s still a relatively new model in the Japanese firm’s line up, it’s received an update for 2024.
The Yaris Cross is 4,180mm long, 1,765mm wide and 1,570mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2,560mm and a ground clearance of 180mm. The Yaris Cross has a boot capacity of 360 litres, which can be expanded to 1,080 litres with the rear seats folded. The Yaris Cross also has a kerb weight of 1,265kg, making it one of the lightest compact SUVs on the market.
One of the best-selling models across Europe, it’s easy to see why the Yaris Cross has proved popular - with the same cabin and driving characteristics of the Yaris supermini wrapped up in a contemporary SUV body.
Toyota Yaris Cross is a brand new compact SUV that blends urban style with ruggedness. It is equipped with the latest tech and safety features to make your drive safer and more enjoyable. The Yaris Cross is available in three trim levels: Icon, Design and Excel. Each trim offers different features, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. The Yaris Cross is the perfect car for those who want a reliable and stylish vehicle that can tackle both city and off-road driving.
Toyota Yaris Cross is a bold and stylish crossover. Its modern design features a sleek grille and angular headlights. Its chiseled lines and muscular wheel arches give it a sporty, aggressive look. The rugged exterior is complemented by a range of vibrant colors, from the classic black to the bright red. The Yaris Cross is available in two-tone combinations, making it stand out from the crowd. The Yaris Cross is equipped with a range of exterior features, from the panoramic glass roof to the power tailgate. It also comes with a range of alloy wheels, giving it a unique style. Toyota Yaris Cross 2024 – all information about this car here!
The Toyota Yaris Cross is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which delivers a spirited performance. It is mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, depending on the model. The Yaris Cross also features a hybrid powertrain, combining a petrol engine with an electric motor. This gives it improved fuel economy and lower emissions. The Yaris Cross is also equipped with a range of driver assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and automatic emergency braking. This makes it a safe and reliable car to drive. Toyota Yaris Cross 2024 – find out all the competitors of this car model below.
The interior of the Yaris Cross is modern and comfortable. It features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, as well as a range of driver assistance systems. The Yaris Cross is also equipped with a range of storage solutions, from the centre console to the door pockets. It also has a range of comfort features, such as heated seats and a heated steering wheel. The Yaris Cross is also equipped with a range of safety features, such as airbags, active head restraints and blind spot monitoring. This makes it a safe and secure car to drive.
Another bit of technology already seen on the Yaris is the digital key which allows you to access, set the climate and start the Yaris Cross via the MyToyota app on your smartphone. This comes as standard on Premiere Edition models.
Toyota claims the Yaris Cross is safer than before as well. A new camera and radar system can scan a greater area to better highlight potential risks on the road. Acceleration Suppression, Proactive Driving Assist and Emergency Driving Stop are all new safety systems for the Yaris Cross.
The similarities to the Yaris supermini’s 2023 updates continue with a wider engine line up. The self-charging hybrid 1.5-litre three-cylinder is continued with its 114bhp and 141Nm of torque, but it’s joined by a more powerful variant of the same engine with 129bhp and 185Nm of torque. Both cars are fitted with a CVT automatic but the new engine drops the 0-62mph time from 11.2 seconds 10.7 seconds. The new powertrain is offered on GR Sport and the Premiere Edition.
As we saw with the Yaris earlier this year, the Yaris Cross also got improvements to its cabin technology. This is most evident with the larger 10.5-inch central touchscreen (nine inches on Icon trim) and a 12.3-inch driver’s display (reduced to seven inches on Design and Icon). Toyota claims the software is quicker to load and more responsive, including a revised “Hey Toyota” voice recognition system.
Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but it’ll surely command a greater price tag than the current car, which starts from £24,855.

New RANGE ROVER EVOQUE 2024 | FACELIFT #new_car #rangerover #rover #evoque #2024 #facelift
New RANGE ROVER EVOQUE 2024 | FACELIFT #new_car #rangerover #rover #evoque #2024 #facelift
Fashion is the 2024 Range Rover Evoque's ethos, and as such, it dons a more striking ensemble than its rivals.
The Evoque does channel its big brother—the flagship Land Rover Range Rover SUV—to good effect inside, with comfortable seats, high-end materials, and a slick-looking touchscreen infotainment system. It can venture off-road too, with standard all-wheel drive and advantageous approach and departure angles—just don't expect to rock crawl alongside the more rugged Defender.
At a glance, the 2024 Range Rover Evoque looks very much like the 2023 model. Not that the outgoing model isn't pleasing to the eye, but in the world of facelifts this one is properly small. But changes there are, not just in how this luxury SUV looks but how it treats occupants inside as well.
Let's start with the visuals, specifically at the grille. There's a new mesh-style pattern in place, adopting thin rectangles versus irregular hexagons. On either side of the grille are new headlights that look indistinguishable from the current model, but it's what's inside that matters. These are new Pixel 1 LED lights, featuring three times as many LEDs as before. Furthermore, each light contains four pixel modules with LEDs that are individually controlled, projecting varying amounts of light in different directions. In Europe, these lights are standard on Dynamic HSE and Autobiography trims.
The Evoque is powered by a 246-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder dubbed P250, and it comes standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. At our test track, the Evoque delivered a 7.1-second 60-mph run when we tested it back in 2020 and given that the powertrain hasn't changed since that test we reckon the result still is relevant to the 2024 model. Rivals such as the BMW X1 and the Volvo XC40 have both delivered slightly quicker times, but the Range Rover is still competitively lively. On the road, there's no mistaking the Evoque for a hatchback car. It feels substantial, and the seat height is SUV-appropriate. It adequately handles corners but won't satisfy enthusiast drivers in the same way as the BMW or Mercedes-Benz GLA-class.
Also new for the 2024 Evoque are fresh wheels up to 21 inches in diameter. New exterior colors include Tribeca Blue, Corinthian Bronze, and Arroios Grey, and that about does it for the visual changes on the outside. We told you this was a slim facelift.
There's a bit more happening inside the cockpit. The driver and front-seat passenger will immediately notice a new 11.4-inch landscape-oriented center touchscreen, though it's not just slapped into place. This is a curved screen that mounts away from the dash, floating style. It sits above a new center console that eliminates physical controls save for a redesigned shift stalk. The effect is one of extreme minimalism, relegating many vehicle functions to either the steering wheel or touchscreen.
Continuing with tech news, the 2024 Range Rover Evoque enjoys the latest Pivi Pro 2 infotainment system. This supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa 10 is integrated for voice control. And then there are the cameras, a system JLR says is among the most sophisticated setup in the Evoque's class. A 3D surround camera is supplemented with a ClearSight ground view camera and an interior rear view cam. The automaker also says the Cabin Air Purification Plus system is among the best in class, available for the first time on the Evoque.
That said, the interior materials are quite nice. The Evoque can be ordered with a very cool textured cloth upholstery that covers the seats, door panels, and dashboard; leather is still offered as standard, though. Other standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, and ambient interior lighting. Cargo space behind the rear seat isn't as generous as you'd expect from an SUV, but it held six carry-on suitcases in our testing, which aligns with a good part of the segment.
In Europe, the 2024 Evoque is available in S, Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, and Autobiography trims. Powertrain choices include the 1.5-liter three-cylinder mild-hybrid gas engine with 160 horsepower, or 309 hp with the plug-in hybrid system. A 2.0-liter mild-hybrid brings 249 hp burning gasoline, or either 163 hp or 204 hp with diesel.
Pricing for the 2024 Range Rover Evoque starts at 49,800 euros. Information specific to North America, including engines, equipment, and pricing, will be announced soon.
Limited warranty covers four years or 50,000 miles
Powertrain warranty covers four years or 50,000 miles

New LEXUS LBX 2024 | FIRST LOOK #new_car #lexus #lbx #2024 #first_look
New LEXUS LBX 2024 | FIRST LOOK #new_car #lexus #lbx #2024 #first_look
The new Lexus LBX is a premium small SUV that will become the firm’s smallest-ever new car when it arrives in the UK in March 2024. An all-new offering from the luxury Japanese brand, the new Lexus LBX is a significant model that’s been design in Europe, specifically for European car buyers.
The new Lexus LBX is derived from the Toyota Yaris Cross, sharing the popular car’s Toyota GA-B global architecture and full hybrid powertrain. It will be a premium alternative to a Ford Puma, Volkswagen T-Cross, MINI Countryman and Honda HR-V, along with other models such as the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur.
The Lexus LBX is likely to challenge the slightly larger, premium-brand Audi Q2.
Described as a breakthrough car for the brand, the new Lexus LBX is set to become one of the firm’s best-selling cars in Europe, and is a very significant addition to the line-up.
The new Lexus LBX is a compact SUV with styling designed to be muscular and powerful. It’s less formal than larger Lexus, appearing more relaxed and characterful as a result.
The new Lexus LBX’ most distinctive design change is the ‘Resolute Look’ front end. This sees the firm’s spindle grille, used for the past decade, “deconstructed” to create a new front end face. The grille now comprises a single trapezoid shape, sitting below a narrow aperture below the leading edge of the bonnet. This links slim LED headlights.
The new Lexus LBX has short overhangs, large 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, flared wheelarches and a distinct tightening of the area around the rear doors to give it a squat, more dynamic appearance.
At the rear, the licence plate has been repositioned in the rear bumper, which makes the ‘Lexus’ lettering on the tailgate more prominent. The Lexus signature L-shaped light bar stretches the full width (and Lexus adds the direction of the L-shape running lights at the front has been changed to face out).
Lexus promises a range of vivid paint colours and deep-lustre sonic finishes. Certain models will be available with bi-tone paintwork, combining any body colour option with a contrast black roof.
The new Lexus LBX measures 4190mm long, 1825mm wide and 1545mm high. It has a 2580mm wheelbase.
nside, the new Lexus LBX has a decluttered and high-quality cabin. Key controls are focused around the instrument display – the start/stop button is mounted high up, for example – which helps keep the rest of the interior tidy.
The new Lexus LBX offers a vivid 12.3-inch full digital instrument panel in a Lexus for the first time. This is fully customisable and can be matched with a head-up display on certain versions.
The new Lexus LBX also has a 9.8-inch Lexus Link Connect touchscreen infotainment system. It has cloud-based sat nav, over-the-air updates and the ‘Hey Lexus’ on-board assistant. This responds to voice commands from both driver and passenger. Both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay is included, plus wired Android Auto smartphone integration.
The new Lexus LBX offers an optional digital key. This is compatible with both Android and Apple smartphones. Owners don’t have to take out their phone to unlock and start the car, and they can share a digital key with others who may need to use the vehicle, too.
The new Lexus LBX will offer a variety of upmarket upholsteries and trims, including a premium semi-aniline leather and a vegan-friendly interior with synthetic leather and materials for the seats, steering wheel, shift lever and door trims. Ambient lighting provides a range of 50 colour options.
A further welcome premium touch is the availability of an optional Mark Levinson premium sound system. This uses 13 speakers including a subwoofer integrated into the tailgate – which avoids any loss of boot space.
The new Lexus LBX offers boot space of up to 332 litres in front-wheel drive guise (it will, however, shrink significantly in E-Four guise). The shape has been optimised so two 75-litre suitcases can be carried beneath the folding tonneau cover. As for passengers, the rear seats will have ample knee room – and they are mounted slightly higher than those in the front to aid visibility.
The new Lexus LBX is offered with a 1.5-litre full hybrid powertrain. The three-cylinder engine is a modified version of the motor in the Toyota Yaris Cross. Lexus has added a balancer shaft so it is smoother and more refined in operation.
The new Lexus LBX produces 134ps, which should deliver 0-62mph acceleration in around 9.2 seconds. Official fuel economy and CO2 figures have not been released, but the engineers suggest CO2 emissions will be well under 120g/km. This indicates fuel economy of around 55mpg.
On sale in October 2023, with deliveries from March 2024, and prices starting from £29,995

New HYUNDAI TUCSON 2025 FACELIFT #new_car #hyundai #tucson #2025 #facelift
New HYUNDAI TUCSON 2025 FACELIFT #new_car #hyundai #tucson #2025 #facelift
Not only is the 2025 Hyundai Tucson a chic-looking choice among compact SUVs, but it's also a practical one, with a more spacious cabin and cargo area than many rivals. A 187-hp four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive are standard, and all-wheel drive is optional. Acceleration is leisurely—and that's putting it nicely—but the Tucson delivers a comfortable ride. Both a hybrid and plug-in hybrid are offered (we review them separately). Each provide more kick than the nonhybrid model, but no Tucson provides the same driving verve of the Honda CR-V, the Mazda CX-50, or the Volkswagen Tiguan, all of which handle corners with more gusto. If you're more inclined to lazy commutes and quiet road trips, the Tucson has you covered, especially higher-end trims that come appointed with nicer materials and feature more conveniences and tech gadgets.
The Tucson receives a styling refresh for 2025 that includes updates to the SUV's grille, bumpers, and wheels. Inside, the Tucson's old infotainment setup has been swapped for a new one that includes two displays sharing a singular rectangular housing on the dashboard. One serves as a digital instrument cluster while the other handles entertainment, navigation, and other vehicle functions. The steering wheel has been tweaked, the climate control panel has been updated, and the gear selector has been moved from the center console to the steering column. The center console now offers more space for small item storage, and from photos we can see a wireless charging pad ahead of the center armrest. Hyundai hasn't yet released all the info for the 2025 Tucson, but we expect to see no changes to the SUV's powertrains. The updates made here should also apply to the hybrid model, however, we'll have to wait for official details before we can be sure. The refreshed Tucson is expected to go on sale before the end of 2024 as a 2025 model.
The price of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson is expected to start around $29 000 and go up to $38 000 depending on the trim and options.
Hyundai hasn't said if the refreshed 2025 model will offer the same trims as the 2024 Tucson, but we think it will. When we find out more about the 2025's pricing and available features, we'll update this story with those details and recommend the model that represents the best value.
A 187-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder is standard and comes with an eight-speed automatic and either front or all-wheel drive. The Tucson offers adequate pep for both city driving and highway passing maneuvers, but lead-footed drivers will yearn for more power. At our test track, our all-wheel-drive Limited test vehicle made it to 60 mph in 8.8 seconds. The more powerful hybrid and plug-in hybrid models (reviewed separately) both feel quicker but don't expect Toyota RAV4 Prime-level acceleration from either of them. While the Tucson is no sports car, its handling is confident, its steering is reasonably crisp, and its ride is agreeable. What's most striking about the Tucson's driving demeanor is how quiet and refined it feels when cruising; it's these traits that give the SUV a sense of luxury that is rare to find in this class.
The EPA estimates that the Tucson should deliver as high as 25 mpg city and 32 mpg highway with front-wheel drive. On our 75-mph highway fuel-economy route.
The Tucson sports a simplistic but modern dashboard design with a digital gauge display, a column-mounted shifter, and a separate control panel for the climate-control system with actual buttons. Hyundai's flagship Palisade SUV and the brand's recently redesigned Sonata and Elantra sedans have served as a sort of watershed moment for the company's interior designs, and the new Tucson continues the trend with a thoughtfully arranged interior filled with quality materials and luxury features. The Tucson's rear seat space and cargo area are both larger than many rivals, providing more passenger comfort and practicality. Behind the back row, we fit nine carry-on suitcases, and the luggage capacity rose to 22 bags with the seatbacks stowed.
For 2025, the Tucson receives an upgraded infotainment system that consists of two digital screens in one monolithic housing that stretches most of the length of the dashboard. The one in the middle of the dash offers access to the Tucson's radio, navigation, vehicle settings, and other features. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are likely standard across the range and may even offer wireless connectivity on every model; features such as SiriusXM satellite radio and an upgraded Bose stereo system are expected to be optional. Other high-tech offerings include Hyundai's digital key smartphone app, which provides lock and unlock features as well as an option for remote start.

New DACIA JOGGER Hybrid 2023 | exterior, interior #new_car #dacia #jogger #hybrid _2023
New DACIA JOGGER Hybrid 2023 | exterior, interior #new_car #dacia #jogger #hybrid _2023
The new Dacia Jogger is a seven-seat, C-segment MPV – on the face of it, the kind of car that a great many European car makers once made (think Ford Grand C-Max, Renault Grand Scénic and Vauxhall Zafira) but whose place in the market has lately been usurped by the crossover SUV.
Mixing crossover and MPV design cues, the Jogger is nothing more or less than Europe's cheapest seven-seat passenger car; but its versatility goes father than even that would imply.
There are now two engines, and a couple of transmission options, for the Jogger, and only three equipment levels.
Entry-level Essential has no infotainment system, although it does have stereo speakers through which your smartphone can play music or digital radio. It also comes with manual air conditioning and manual cruise control, as well as automatic headlights and an AEB crash-avoidance system as standard.
Comfort cars add modular roof rails, automatic wipers, a reversing camera and touchscreen infotainment, while Extreme SE models get factory-fit sat-nav, wireless smartphone mirroring, alloy wheels and heated seats.
At just over 4.5 metres in length, the Jogger is a little shorter at the kerb than a typical C-segment MPV, but that doesn’t prevent it from offering usable passenger accommodation for up to seven.
At just under 1.7 metres tall and with 200mm of ground clearance, it’s also little higher of profile than most typical MPVs and is intended as what we might have called a soft-roader a few years ago: a car to easily tackle uneven tracks and the like.
Dacia has stopped short of giving the car four-wheel drive, though, or all-season tyres or even an off-road-style traction-control regime.
Simplicity certainly seems to save weight for this car. At as little as 1205kg unladen in its entry-level form, the Jogger is 200kg lighter than the very lightest Volkswagen Touran that UK customers can currently buy – but it’s still rated to haul more than 600kg of combined cargo and passenger ballast and to tow 1200kg on a braked trailer.
You might not see many Joggers towing bigger caravans, then, but it’s the kind of car that could certainly handle a smaller one, or a trailer tent.
Two engines are offered in the car: firstly Renault’s turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol, which makes 109bhp and a healthy 148lb ft of torque and drives through a six-speed manual gearbox. A 1.6-litre full-hybrid petrol-electric option, also currently powering the Renault Clio E-Tech, provides the Jogger’s only two-pedal powertrain option.
The Jogger’s design is likeably functional, from the upright rear window to the kinked upper window line, which makes extra head room for passengers travelling in the rear (and visually references cars like the Matra Rancho).
All versions get wheel-arch cladding, chunky bumpers and stylised roof bars as standard, but on middle and upper-spec cars, those roof bars convert really simply into an elegant lateral roof rack of their own.
Mid-spec Joggers like our test car also feature 16in steel Flex wheels with very alloy-like covers that are intended to be easier and cheaper to replace, when damaged, than real alloys might be.
The Jogger’s interior doesn’t make it the most spacious, adult-appropriate seven-seater family car you can buy, but so much could generally be observed about so many compact MPVs; and the Dacia is ingeniously versatile, more than passably pleasant, and well enough appointed and prepared for the practicalities of modern life.
You get a clear sense that this car is supermini-derived from the driving position, which is a little perched. Although it doesn’t offer abundant leg room for taller drivers, our tallest tester (6ft 3in) was still comfortable at the wheel.
The throttle response is more crisp and the power delivery more linear elsewhere in the rev range. A 0-60mph clocking of 11.0sec need be no embarrassment for the Jogger in normal daily driving, when it has more than enough performance to move with the general cut and thrust and to manage single-carriageway overtaking comfortably enough.
The light but fairly slick and well-defined manual lever makes up for a slightly woolly-feeling clutch action, so shifting is no chore – provided you don’t hurry changes through more quickly than suits the slightly gelatinous feel and the gentle natural syncopation of the whole apparatus.
The brake pedal is progressive and easy to modulate; and it managed to pull the Jogger to a standstill from 70mph in less than 50 metres in slightly damp test conditions, even on modest-sized 16in wheels and 205-section tyres, which is equally respectable.
The Jogger’s faintly astounding entry-level price is £14,995.

NEW MG HS 2024 FACELIFT #extravagant #comfortable #new_car #mg #hs #2024 #facelift
The MG HS 2024 is a compact SUV that is starting to put strong pressure on the leading SUVs in the segment. As we can deduce, the big news is its plug-in hybrid version. Its design and equipment upgrades make it more competitive, as it looks more elegant, technological and sporty.
The MG HS 2024 is an eye-catching and eye-catching SUV. For this year's model year, we see obvious changes to the exterior, which give it extra points for sportiness.
Some features that complement its exterior equipment are electronically adjustable, heated and electronically folding rear-view mirrors. It's ready to take on adverse weather driving, with aerodynamic windscreen wipers and a rear defroster with timer. Other details that add character include a rear spoiler and chrome roof rails.
As for the dimensions of MG's car, the SUV measures 4.61 metres in length, 1.87 metres in width and 1.68 metres in height. The wheelbase is 2.72 metres.
The greatest virtue of the MG HS 2024 Interior Review is its interpretation of style. The cabin really has characterful details, without sacrificing comfort and functionality. The cabin makes a good impression with its elegant aesthetics and choice of materials.
The leather-trimmed bucket seats are electrically adjustable and heated for a comfortable ride. MG's SUV is functional for everyday use, with features such as a centre console with storage, rear armrest with cup holders, reading lights and second-row seat vents.
The car sports a 10.1-inch colour touchscreen, while the MG Digital Dashboard is based on a 12.3-inch panel. Meanwhile, connectivity options include hands-free Bluetooth and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other technological systems that earn special mention are its automatic ignition lights, the KERS energy recovery system (PHEV) and the 360-degree camera with 3D function.
The big new addition to the range is the arrival of the eHS version, which takes as its starting point a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 280 total horsepower. The vehicle is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 190 km/h.
Overall, the handling is accommodating due to the good turbocharger behaviour, plus good fuel economy numbers.
The MG HS 2024 conforms to segment standards by including ABS brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, stability control and cornering brake control as standard equipment. In addition, all variants are equipped with six airbags, an air monitor in the tyres and a traction control system.
The eHS version improves the equipment in this area by integrating adaptive cruise control, speed assist in dense traffic, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking system and pedestrian detection system. Other assistances such as lane keeping assist are also added.
Either way, the MG HS 2024 excels with a distinctive exterior and interior design, the right technological equipment and a dynamic drive focused on providing a comfortable and serene ride. It will be a good companion for family life, routine city trips and weekend getaways. If you want a sportier feel or a versatile ride that provides scope for off-roading, the solution is not here.

NEW PEUGEOT 2008 2024 VISUAL REVIEW #car_2024 #peugeot #2008 #2024 #visual #review
NEW PEUGEOT 2008 2024 VISUAL REVIEW #car_2024 #peugeot #2008 #2024 #visual #review
During the Peugeot E-Lion Day last week, the French automaker announced plans to give its 2008 mild-hybrid technology later this year. The 48V setup will likely arrive with the small crossover's mid-cycle facelift, which has now been spied for the first time. Caught out in the cold while resting between two test sessions, the vehicle had camouflage only at the rear. However, future prototypes are expected to wear a disguise at the front as well.
The dual exhaust tips denote we're dealing with a 2024 Peugeot 2008 prototype equipped with a combustion engine but the e-2008 is likely to go through the same styling changes. From what we're able to tell so far, the B-segment crossover has received redesigned taillights. The rear bumper looks more of the same, although since the Stellantis brand bothered to cover it, there could be some discreet tweaks we just can't see because of the camo.
The PEUGEOT 2008 has been a best-seller in the B-segment SUV market for more than three years and has now taken a new step forward in terms of design, technology and electrification.
More Allure with its elegant character and assertive SUV design,
More Emotion at the wheel with its incomparable i-Cockpit 3D enhanced by a central 10-inch high-definition screen and its excellent road feel,
More Excellence with the efficiency of its new electric engine offering up to 406 km of range (WLTP combined cycle) and its new on-board technologies.
Launched at the end of 2019 and with nearly 700,000 units produced, the PEUGEOT 2008 has always been on the podium in terms of B-segment SUV sales in Europe and even topped that list in 2021.
As far as modifications underneath the hood, those mild-hybrid models will be powered by a new generation of PureTech gasoline engines with 100 and 136 horsepower. The output will be delivered to the front wheels via a six-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission incorporating a 21-kilowatt electric motor. Aside from the extra low-end torque, the 2008 will cut fuel consumption by as much as 15 percent.
Recent small EVs by Stellantis have been improved and chances are the e-2008 is next in line to get an upgrade for extra range. Take for example the 2023 e-208 with an extra 20 hp for a grand total of 156 hp while the torque has stayed the same at 260 Nm (191 lb-ft). The electric supermini now has a bigger battery with a usable capacity of 48.1 kWh (up from 46.2 kWh) to cover 400 kilometers (249 miles) on a single charge in the WLTP cycle.
The modern Selenium Grey was chosen as the launch colour and is also the colour offered in the available palette. The new Okenite White, rich in bluish-grey highlights, will underline the sophistication of the new 2008. The GT version comes with a black bi-tone roof as standard. All new 2008 models feature black mirrors, regardless of the body colour chosen. The new 2008 is available in six body colours: Selenium Grey, Artense Grey, Okenite White, Black Perla Nera, Elixir Red and Vertigo Blue.
The front, side and rear badges of the new 2008s have been given a new typeface and a new Basalt Grey colour. The E-2008 has an "E" badge in Dichroic Blue and White. At the rear, the PEUGEOT monogram runs across the entire width of the boot lid strip.
All versions of the new 2008 have renewed seat fabrics, illustrating a real move upmarket, like the new Alcantara upholstery available as an option on the GT versions.
Depending on the country where they are sold, the new PEUGEOT 2008 can be purchased on the Brand's online sales site for a 100% digital purchase ("Selling Online") that is entirely secure. Customers can purchase their new vehicle, trade-in their old vehicle and finance their purchase from their smartphone, tablet or PC. Each customer will have the freedom to choose to have their vehicle delivered to their home free of charge.
A range of home or workplace charging solutions, via a wide range of equipment (reinforced socket, Wall box, Smart Wall box, etc.), a diagnosis to assess the electrical installation to be provided and the best charging solution, as well as the final installation, thanks to recommended partners,
A public recharging offer via Free2Move eSolutions which provides access to a network of more than 350,000 charging points in Europe: selection of charging points according to distance, speed and price of recharging,
A battery capacity certificate after a service, to make it easier to resell an electric vehicle by guaranteeing the battery capacity level,
The new PEUGEOT E-2008’s battery is guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km.
The new 2008 retains the same exterior dimensions: 4.30 m long, 1.987 m wide (including mirrors), 1.55 m high. The boot volume is unchanged at 434 litres (under the parcel shelf).

NEW RENAULT CLIO TECHNO 2024 | WALKAROUND #new_car #renault #clio #techno #2024 #walkaround
NEW RENAULT CLIO TECHNO 2024 | WALKAROUND #new_car #renault #clio #techno #2024 #walkaround
Renault unveiled the fifth-generation Clio a little over four years ago and now it's giving the supermini a mid-cycle update to remain fresh and competitive against segment rivals. It's a significant facelift considering the subcompact hatchback has a completely redesigned front featuring slimmer headlights and a wider grille with a checkerboard pattern.
The daytime running lights continue in the bumper where they're shaped like half of an upright rhombus as a nod to the Renault logo, which comes finished in brushed chrome. Interestingly, the French marque is trying to make clear taillights fashionable again. In addition, the diffuser can have one of the six available designs depending on trim level and whether it's a hybrid or not. Seen here is the Esprit Alpine, a flagship trim replacing RS Line.
Renault is offering the updated Clio with a choice of five wheel designs with a diameter of up to 17 inches, with all featuring the latest corporate logo in brushed aluminum.
The interior has largely been carried over but there are new sustainable materials throughout the cabin. As a matter of fact, you can't buy the 2024 Clio with leather upholstery. Instead, the seats are covered in a material made from organic and polyester fibers, called TEP. Step up to the Esprit Alpine and the small hatch gets sportier front seats with better lateral support.
As far as technology is concerned, the digital instrument cluster comes in 7- and 10-inch sizes while the touchscreen is available in 7- or 9.3-inch configurations. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported, along with built-in navigation, a 360-degree camera, and no fewer than 20 driver assistance systems. Highlights include adaptive cruise control (with stop & go) and Level 2 partially automated driving.
The powertrain lineup includes the usual suspects, starting with a naturally aspirated three-cylinder 1.0-liter unit rated at 65 horsepower (47 kilowatts) and 70 pound-feet (95 Newton-meters) of torque delivered to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. Up next is another 1.0-liter three-cylinder but turbocharged to 90 hp (66 kW) and 118 lb-ft (160 Nm) transferred through a six-speed manual.
The flagship powertrain is available in the Clio E-Tech Full Hybrid 145, which combines a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with a pair of electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack with a 1.2-kWh capacity. As its name implies, it offers a total output of 145 hp (105 kW), delivered to the road via a clutchless transmission with two speeds for EV mode and four for when the combustion engine is running.
Renault is also selling the revised Clio with a three-cylinder turbo engine running on compressed natural gas (CNG). It can cover over 621 miles (1,000 kilometers) and offers a decent 125 lb-ft (170 Nm) from 2,000 rpm while emitting eight percent less CO2 compared to the equivalent gasoline-only engine.
Perhaps a bit surprising, but diesel's not dead yet since Renault will be offering the 2024 Clio with the Blue dCi 100 unit. The familiar 1.5-liter mill produces 100 hp and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm), mated to a six-speed manual.

NEW PEUGEOT 3008 GT | WALKAROUND 2024 #car_2024 #peugeot #gt #3008 #walkaround
NEW PEUGEOT 3008 GT | WALKAROUND 2024 #car_2024 #peugeot #gt #3008 #walkaround
It’s the first EV in Stellantis’ portfolio based on the new STLA Medium platform.
The third-generation Peugeot 3008 has been officially unveiled by the French automaker seven years after the previous iteration debuted in Europe, marking a new chapter for the brand’s best-seller in terms of electric powertrains and interior tech.
Shown in all-electric guise first, known as the E-3008 (with mild-hybrid powertrains to follow), the all-new C segment crossover is the first-ever series production model to be based on the STLA Medium platform developed by Stellantis, the group that owns Peugeot, and will be offered in two trim levels – Allure and GT – with three option packages and three electric powertrain choices.
Measuring 178 inches (454 centimeters) long, 74 in (189 cm) wide, and 64 in (164 cm) tall, the all-electric crossover features the brand’s well-known three-clawed light signature both upfront and at the rear, with an enlarged logo on the closed off grille and smaller headlights nestled between the hood and frameless grille.
The first variant of motivation is comprised of a 400-volt nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) 73 kilowatt-hours (net) battery pack and a front-mounted permanent synchronous electric motor that makes 210 horsepower (157 kilowatts) and 253 pound-feet (343 Newton-meters) of torque, while the estimated driving range is 326 miles (525 km) on a full charge.
Finally, there’s a long-range version with a bigger 98 kWh (net) battery pack and a front-mounted electric motor that makes 230 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque, enabling a maximum range of 435 miles (700 km) on a full charge. There is no dual-motor option for this battery size.
Several driving modes are available to the driver, including a 4WD mode on the dual-motor variant, which distributes power to all four wheels when the road surface is slippery, but only at speeds of up to 83 miles per hour (135 kilometers per hour).
Speaking of charge, the third-generation electric 3008 has the charging port located on the rear left mudguard and allows users to replenish the battery via either AC or DC. For AC charging, the standard onboard charger can accept up to 11 kW from a three-phase source, with an optional 22 kW three-phase unit available.
On the DC front, the new E-3008 can accept up to 160 kW from a compatible stall, allowing the standard battery to be topped up from 20 percent state of charge (SoC) to 80 percent in 30 minutes and in less than 30 minutes for the extended range variant.
To make the most out of the available battery capacity, the all-electric Peugeot 3008 comes as standard with a heat pump instead of a conventional interior heating setup. It also offers three regenerative braking levels which can be selected via the steering wheel-mounted paddles: Low, for an effect similar to that of a combustion engine vehicle, Moderate, and Increased.
As standard, the E-3008 comes with LED lights that incorporate the brand’s so-called Pixel LED light technology on all versions, which is a fancy way of saying they’re adaptive.
Six paint options are available at launch, with a color-shifting Obsession Blue being the highlight of the range, changing from blue to green depending on light and viewing angle. The other hues are Ingaro Blue, Okenite White, Pearl Black, Artense Gray, and Titanium Gray.
Inside, the main talking point of the new Peugeot E-3008 is the massive i-Cockpit 21-inch curved widescreen display that sits atop the dashboard acting as both a digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen.
However, not all versions benefit from this single slab of screen real estate, with the Allure trim offering a slightly different setup that’s made up of two 10-inch screens integrated into a single support.
Below the central screen, on what would be referred to as a central console on a conventional vehicle, sit the so-called i-Toggles, which are fully customizable virtual and touch-sensitive buttons.
The Peugeot E-3008 has a trunk volume of 470 liters in the all-wheel drive version and 520 liters in the front-wheel drive variant, and there’s a total of 17 different storage compartments scattered throughout the interior that add up to 34 liters.
The third-generation compact crossover will be built at the Stellantis factory in Sochaux, France, where the batter packs are also assembled, with deliveries set to begin in Europe and other markets by the end of the year.

NEW TOYOTA CAMRY 2025 | WALKAROUND #car_2025 #new_car #toyota #camry
NEW TOYOTA CAMRY 2025 | WALKAROUND #car_2025 #new_car #toyota #camry
While SUVs dominate the automotive landscape like some sort of fender-cladded solar eclipse, mid-size sedans soldier on as family-friendly alternatives that are a little more down to earth (literally). The Hyundai Sonata has been given a recent refresh, and Honda released a new generation of Accord last year. Now, it's time for the Toyota Camry to strut its stuff, and it's leapfrogging both of its major competitors by going hybrid-only.
If you're familiar with any of Toyota's other new hybrids like the Crown Signia, the 2025 Camry's powertrain will seem quite familiar. This latest iteration of Toyota's hybrid system combines a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine with either two or three electric motors. The first two motors live up front and help provide front-driven power, while optional all-wheel drive—a first for hybrid Camrys, and available on all four trims—throws a third motor out back for extra traction. FWD hybrids will make 225 horsepower, while AWD bumps that up by a whopping seven horses, to 232 hp. A continuously variable automatic transmission is standard on both setups.
The EPA hasn't released fuel economy estimates for the 2025 Camry yet, but we expect it to earn similar ratings as last year's hybrid models. That car was rated as high as 51 mpg city and 53 mpg highway. When we get a chance, we'll take the new Camry on our 75-mph highway fuel economy test route and update this story with its real-world mpg.
the Camry's new look qualifies above a mid-cycle refresh, but there's something to be said about sticking with what works. Of course, the ninth-gen Camry does look fairly different from the front, where new headlights pick up the same running-light style we've seen on the Prius and the Crown. Its beaky front bumper keeps that comparison going. From the side, it's more traditional Camry, and the rear end's new taillights look fresh but also familiar.
Meanwhile, the cabin features a bit more new stuff. A whole bunch of Crown influence has made its way into the Camry, including the same steering wheel as well as the medium-high center console and the console trim piece that rises and wraps around the passenger. (Thankfully, the Camry does not borrow the Crown's limited headroom.) It comes standard with a wireless phone charger and five USB ports across both rows. An 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 8.0-inch partially digital gauge cluster are standard on the LE and sportier SE trims, but both screens grow to 12.3 inches on XLE and XSE models.
Of the four trims on offer, they are bundled into two distinct halves. The LE and XLE reside on the cushier side, with the latter picking up front-side acoustic glass, larger wheels, fancier headlights, leather seating, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, and ambient lighting. The SE and XSE are the sportier pair, carrying their own unique (and, obviously, stiffer) suspension tuning, in addition to black trim and different wheel designs. The XSE also picks up a giant black trim piece that spans the gap between the taillights, in addition to a body-colored rear diffuser and dual exhaust tips.
The 2025 Toyota Camry will make its way to the general public in 2024. Pricing is still a ways away, but for some context, the current Camry hybrid ranges from a hair under $30,000 to a bit over $35,000. Given the flashy kit crammed into the new one, we'd expect prices to rise a smidge but stay affordable overall.
Conclusion
The 2025 Toyota Camry marks the mid-size sedan's ninth generation.
For the first time, the Camry will be offered only in hybrid guise.
A revamped cabin borrows much of its new look from the Crown sedan.

NEW VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN 2024 | FULL WALKAROUND #car_2024 #volkswagen #tiguan_2024 #new_model
NEW VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN 2024 | FULL WALKAROUND #car_2024 #volkswagen #tiguan_2024 #new_model
It’s hard to stand out in a crowd, but the 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan strives to escape the genericism of the compact crossover segment with reserved but tasteful sheetmetal, sharp handling, and European spirit. Living directly below the Atlas in VOLKSWAGEN U.S. lineup, it prioritizes a holistic balance over stylistic gimmickry or extraordinary zero-to-60 performance. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and an eight-speed automatic serve as the sole powertrain; what it lacks in performance, it makes up for with parsimonious fuel economy and satisfying operation. The cabin follows the blueprint, offering decent space for people and cargo while the styling remains reserved and purposeful and the seats firm but comfortable. Buyers enticed by the Tiguan but desiring more contemporary styling and the option of an electrified powertrain are advised to wait for the soon-to-be-revealed 2025 VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan.
VOLKSWAGEN IQ.DRIVE driver-assistance system is now standard on the base S trim and includes adaptive cruise control with a lane-centering feature. Also joining the base S trim for 2024 are auto high beam headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a faux-leather steering wheel, upgraded infotainment, and wireless charging. The SE R-Line and SEL R-Line Black trims get minor cosmetic upgrades.
As with last year, we recommend the mid-range SE trim as it adds 18-inch wheels, a power-operated rear liftgate, remote start, and dual-zone climate control. Note that for 2024, however, the Base S trim gets the IQ.Drive semi-autonomous lane-keeping assist mode, previously only on the SE and up. That said, the S still uses a smaller 6.5-inch infotainment screen and doesn’t offer the panoramic sunroof option, which is a $1200 option on the SE.
Lift the hood on the 2024 Tiguan, and you’ll find VOLKSWAGEN near-ubiquitous turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder tuned for 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Output flows through an eight-speed automatic transmission and to the front wheels; Volkswagen's 4Motion all-wheel-drive system is optional. Whether front- or all-wheel drive, the Tiguan turns in an athletic if not breathtaking performance, aided in part by its low 1900 rpm torque peak and a smooth-shifting transmission.
The 2024 Tiguan is reasonably efficient for the segment providing up to 24 mpg city and 31 mpg highway per EPA estimates. Adding the 4Motion all-wheel drive system extracts a small penalty, coming in at 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. Subtract another 1 mpg in both metrics for the top-spec SEL R-Line trim. Our test of the 2022 Tiguan with 4Motion all-wheel drive returned 26 mpg combined. We haven’t yet had an opportunity to subject the Tiguan to our 75-mph highway fuel-economy test, but we'll update this story with the results when we do.
The Tiguan's interior space is a classic case of give and take. One of the only models in the segment with an optional third row, legroom is incrementally tighter in the front- and second row than most competitors. In real-world use, however, the cabin feels spacious, and none of our drivers complained about a lack of space. Of note, Tiguans equipped with the 4Motion all-wheel drive system have no third row, and the second-row passengers gain approximately two additional inches of legroom. The interior layout is simple otherwise, functional but not particularly stylish. The base Tiguan comes standard with six-way manually adjustable heated front seats with cloth upholstery.
On the upside, the system comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so drivers who prefer their smartphone's familiar interface to Volkswagen's system will adapt with little hassle. Even better, the base S trim is slated to get standard wireless charging and updated software for its 6.5-inch infotainment screen in a mid-year update. (SE and up models use an 8.0-inch screen.) A Wi-Fi hotspot is standard. A 480-watt nine-speaker Fender audio system is available for audiophiles, but only in upper trims. All models come with either an 8.0- or 10.3-inch digital gauge display which can be reconfigured to display a variety of information.
Volkswagen has made its IQ.Drive adaptive cruise control system standard for 2024. Previously available only on upper trims, it includes lane-keeping assist and a lane-centering feature. As before, all Tiguans get standard forward-collision alert with automatic braking and a blind-spot warning system. For more information about the Tiguan's crash-test results, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites. Key safety features include:
Standard automated emergency braking with forward collision warning
Standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist
Standard adaptive cruise control with a lane-centering feature

NEW HYUNDAI KONA 2024 #car_2024 #hyundai #kona #new_car
NEW HYUNDAI KONA 2024 #car_2024 #hyundai #kona #new_car
The boxy 2024 Hyundai Kona looks more rugged than it is, as this subcompact soft-roader is made for the urban jungle—not muddy two-tracks. Like the previous generation, the new Kona will be powered by one of two gas-fed four-cylinder engines. A 147-hp 2.0-liter is standard, but a more powerful 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter is optional. An all-electric Kona is also offered, but we review that model separately. The more futuristic styling of the Kona extends to the interior, which is designed around two 12.3-inch displays on the dashboard. The 2024 Kona is more spacious than the last-generation model too, thanks in large part to a longer wheelbase and slimmer front seat backs that free up more space for rear-seat riders.
The Kona is completely redesigned for the 2024 model year and features a more modern appearance. The cabin has been classed up too, with more tech and a fresh design.
Since the SE and SEL models come with the base powertrain, we'd pay more to upgrade to the N Line since it is powered by the turbo four. In addition to the upgraded engine, the N Line also features all of the features included in the SEL's optional Convenience package, which includes a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a separate 12.3-inch digital gauge display, heated front seats, a wireless smartphone charging pad, on-board Wi-Fi, adaptive cruise control with a lane-centering feature, and more.
Both four-cylinder engines from the previous-generation Kona carry over to the 2024 model. The entry-level offering will be a 147-hp 2.0-liter; a turbocharged 190-hp 1.6-liter engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission is optional. In its last generation, a Kona we tested with the 2.0-liter engine recorded a fairly languid 9.2-second 60-mph time. We think the new Kona will offer slightly better performance with the base engine but with the optional turbo, it proved slightly slower at our test track, hitting 60 mph in 7.5 seconds versus 7.3 for the previous-generation model. The difference is likely due to the switch to an eight-speed automatic rather than the previous generation's seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Handling remains fairly sprightly despite the Kona's growth spurt, but the larger second-generation model has lost a little bit of its on-road charm. When we get a 2024 Kona to our office for testing, we'll update this story with more driving impressions and test results.
The 2024 Kona boasts a more spacious interior than the previous-generation model. That's thanks to a stretched wheelbase and a longer overall body length. Hyundai says it also adopts a slimmer front seat-back design that adds a little extra legroom for rear-seat passengers. The interior design is straightforward but futuristic, and the Kona features rich-looking ambient lighting, a column-mounted shifter, and available leather upholstery.
All Kona models come with a suite of driver-assistance features. Some of those—such as automated emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring—are fairly common, but the Kona can also be equipped with a driver-monitoring system and a self-parking feature.
By now, Hyundai's 10-year powertrain warranty is well known in the automotive industry as being one of the most generous policies available, and the Kona receives the same coverage as the rest of the lineup. The company also now offers complimentary scheduled maintenance that bests mainstream rivals such as Toyota.

The EV revolution continues: Innovative four-door typology meets next-generation materiality in the post-sedan era
LOS ANGELES, Calif, November 16, 2023 – Today, Kia America introduced the all-electric EV3 and EV4 concept models at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show. Showcasing Kia’s cutting-edge electric platform technology, styling derived from the tenets of the Opposites United design philosophy, and a commitment to a leading color, material, and finish (CMF) strategy, the Concept EV4 represent contrasting vehicle typologies with a common thread.
“The Concept EV4 are sharply styled, material-driven concepts that point to the expansion of the Kia EV lineup, and California is the barometer for successful EVs.
Earlier this year, at the launch of the EV9 flagship electric SUV in March, Kia introduced 10 must-have items that it would like to use in new Kia models – including the Concept EV4. The materials include bioplastic, produced from biomass sources such as vegetable oils, corn extract, sawdust and sugarcane, and Bio Polyurethane as a replacement for animal-based leather.
The Concept EV4: Redefining the essence of the electric sedan
The Concept EV4 represents the purity of the “Power to Progress” pillar of the Opposites United design philosophy. Its four-door format emphasizes potent and impactful lines that represent an entirely new type of EV sedan that stands as a symbol of innovation. Brought to life through a harmonious fusion of confident, geometric diagonal character lines and rich yet technical surfaces, the Concept EV4 represents a new value, approach, customer experience, and typology.
Its exterior form factor incorporates attributes reminiscent of sports and racing cars, including a low nose, a long-tail silhouette, and a technical roof spoiler. Featuring a wide, imposing stance, with headlamps located vertically at the extreme outer edges of the hood and front bumper, the Concept EV4 further symbolizes Kia’s determination to push design boundaries.
The cocoonlike interior of the Concept EV4 features a sleek and spacious horizontal layout. The innovative design of the HVAC user interface incorporates a control panel that can be neatly stored in the center console when not in use and applied pin-style air vents that offer the flexibility to change patterns. Handwoven fabric stripes applied to the vehicle’s storage area and dashboard create a 3D effect. Materiality also looms large in the interior of the Concept EV4 through the implementation of natural dyes and recycled cotton.
