But there are plenty of claims, some probably based on evidence, that this indeed happens. There is a medical term altitude-induced diuresis which describes the fact that during the initial phases of altitude acclimatization people urinate more. According to an article, this happens because of the following. Lower level of oxygen is sensed by kidneys which release erythropoetin hormone that is behind increased production of red blood cells. This happens as a natural reaction of our body. It increases the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood. With increased red cells, our body tends to dump extra fluid, and this results in excess urine. The process eventually reduces as we become acclimatized. But there is more to this as described below.

However, it was obvious that this was just a condensation. The right way is to test the tent in a controlled environment, and this means in the garden at home. This may save you from unpleasant situations later in the camp and from wrong conclusions as well.

One of the normal routes to Cima delle Nove (Neuner Spitze, Sas dles Nü, Sasso delle Nove) starts from a car parking above Spescia (1549 m, 5082 ft) in Alta Badia La Valle (Wengen) area. From there you go to the Sant Antonio pass (Ju de Sant Antone, 2466 m, 8091 ft), and then to the summit. The other normal route comes from the Lavarella and Fanes huts, and it joins the previous route at the mentioned pass. Most of the time this is just a physically demanding walk-up route, but there is also a very exposed ferrata ridge section where ferrata equipment is necessary.
