Camping and Trekking Across the World!

I got to see where this photo was taken in Bizory near Bastogne. It depicts a small group of injured soldiers and the church was a small hospital during the Battle of the Bulge. Crazy to think I was there!

Ever wanted to see what driving through the Belgian countryside is like...well here you go...a drive through Belgian backroads as seen from my Garmin DriveAssist 50 Dashcam.

These were the farm neighbors for the night while we stayed in our Airbnb in gorgeous Bastogne Belgium. There were deer, chickens, bunnies, and birds all around. They really were good neighbors while we stayed in the treehouse!

Ever wanted to see what a bike ride through the German countryside looks like then here's your chance! Biking is very convenient here and you see people of all ages riding around. While it isn't as popular as in the Netherlands, Germany has lots of bike-specific areas and it's good enough to go all the way to work on most days!

The 2012 D-Day Anniversary Fireworks above Sainte-Mère-Église France. It was one of the best fireworks shows I've ever seen. You should go to the Normandy France celebration in June if you ever get the chance. You won't forget the humble people, the fun reenactors, and the history which is behind every corner. Worth every minute if you can go! Start planning now!

Join me on a drive from Kaiserslautern to Badenweiler Germany. I recorded it on my GoPro Hero 11 and you get to enjoy the Pfalz forest and hills, the Rhine River valley, then finally the Black Forest region in southern Germany. It was a nice day for a drive! I had to drive to Lorrach Germany from Badenweiler. Just a drive through the Black Forest in Germany.

The sonnenuhr or sundial north of Kaiserslautern is a quaint place to hike or bike to in the summer. Located north of Schneckenhausen, it's easy to access via many different roads and trails up to the top to enjoy the views! If you want to get to the top of a hill and see the sights then add this to your list of places to visit!

Made it to Burg Falkenstein. It's near Kaiserslautern and a gorgeous area worthy of any weekend hike! Enjoy!

I drove from Brussels to Bastogne on a very rainy and foggy morning through Belgium. It was a great trip in Bastogne and I got to see and learn about the Battle of the Bulge and the World War 2 history there. If you're ever in southern Belgium and can make the stop in Bastogne, you won't be disappointed with the area! Check out my recap video of all the places I visited!

Made it to Bastogne Belgium and went to the war museum. It was alright. Didn't take long but I'd think I'd go back.
