Collection Basin in Eiserfey Germany | Eifel Aqueduct Hiking Trail
This collection basin in Eiserfey Germany is another stop of the Eifel Aqueduct hiking trail. This is where 2 aqueducts came together and then went off to #colognegermany. This was all underground about a meter or two along the majority of the way to Koln.

Roman Aqueduct Bridge near Vussem Germany | Eifel Aqueduct Hiking Trail
The next stop on the Eifel Aqueduct Hiking Trail was the Roman Aqueduct Bridge near Vussem Germany. It's a cool reconstruction of what some think the aqueduct in that small valley might have looked like. It was rebuilt in the 1960s and was a college student project. You can see the original aqueduct peeking out of the ground near this bridge to see how it would have connected and worked! Happy trekking!

Evansville's Fall Festival Food Review!
I'm back home and we decided to hit Evansville's Fall Festival and check out that food! It's known for unique and wild food made by local vendors from around the west side!
The monster's ear was the winner for the day and it's fried bread with honey and cinnamon. It's a great way to end the food exploration! Make it to Evansville next year for culinary exploration!

YELLOW BIRCH RAVINE / Hoosier National Forest Indiana / Waterfalls and Caves in Southern Indiana!
I finally made it to Yellow Birch Ravine near Taswell Indiana and it didn't disappoint! There are waterfalls and small caves everywhere. I included the GPS coordinates in the video and links below to the places I went.
If you're ever in southern Indiana and looking for an easy hike with some water crossings then this is the spot! Parking is limited so be sure to get there early but it is well worth it.
There are several smaller waterfalls along the way. There are several small caves and holes in the rocks. The final waterfall was a split waterfall that had two streams falling over the cliff! There is ample hiking and things to see on this 1.25 mile trek!

ANDERSON FALLS INDIANA | Trip Review and Drone Footage | Winter Views | Hartsville IN | 4K
I visited Anderson Falls near Hartsville, IN. It was winter so I didn't go swimming but it's still a great place to stop by any season. There is a small parking lot and picnic area available when you stop and I found other videos of people swimming here in the spring and summer. If you do want to access the trails you will have to cross the falls so be very careful!
I used my DJI Mavic Air 2 to get the drone shots and my Sony 4K camera to get walking-around shots. I will for sure be returning to this place to enjoy summer and maybe get a dip in the waterfall!

SHAWNEE NATIONAL FOREST | Southern Illinois Trekking and Day Trip | Weekend Hiking
It was a beautiful weekend and made it to Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois. There are tons of things to do in the Little Egypt portion of Illinois for an awesome hiking or weekend trip. I visited Cave-in-Rock State Park, Rim Rock Recreation Trail, Iron Furnace, and Garden of the Gods.
Cave-In-Rock State Park: https://goo.gl/maps/eLUBLSy3fiUMEsx38
Rim Rock Recreation Trail: https://goo.gl/maps/HfLWJWR1HcXLkoCCA
Illinois Iron Furnace National Historic Site: https://goo.gl/maps/owZJRxs9EvZVLKPH9
Garden of the Gods: https://goo.gl/maps/Tys8y1yTwzKhrwBU7
The hiking around the forest is great. It's an unknown gem and there's usually plenty of space and places to go see while you're moving around the area. Garden of the Gods is usually the main point that everyone tries to go see and enjoy. There's some hiking around there and it is the gateway to the wilderness area of the same name, but the main portion of the area is dedicated to showing off the cliffs.
Cave-in-Rock State Park is a smaller state park but it offers a lot of beautiful views. It's home to the cave of the same name and has an incredible history of pirates and bandits using it as a hideout. There are also cabins, hiking, fishing, boating, and camping around the park. I'll be back.
Rim Rock Trail is a very nice forest hike and easy hike that has a ton of interesting terrain, creeks, cliffs, and tons of trees. It's an easy hike to make and there's plenty to see.
Finally, Iron Furnace is a fun spot to see and interesting to think of how busy that part of Illinois used to be busy with mining and forestry. There's a creek that's near that is open for fishing and a picnic area if you want to make an afternoon around the area.
Southern Illinois may have a bad rap about how sparse it is or how there's nothing in this part of the country but there is so much there! If you're in the Tri-state area then you should make your trek to Shawnee National Forest to see some of the stuff that you're missing out.
I plan on doing more midwestern hiking so if you have any ideas on where I should go next, comment below!

HIKE TO BUCHENEGGER WATERFALL | Trekking Through the German Alps
I had a Hike to Buchenegger Waterfall in the German Alps! We stayed in Oberstaufen Germany which is a mountain town full of resorts. We took full advantage of the city's placement in the Alps and enjoyed our time at a local spa.
This was a great hike and relatively easy from the resort. The trail is mainly paved until you get to the last section when you have to drop into the gorge. The gorge portion is moderate to highly difficult to hike. Finally, you should hike from Oberstaufen because when we were there the parking police were there giving tickets to people who parked in the lot right by the gorge entrance.
