68. H. Pylori Test is (wrongfully) Being Discontinued
Dr. David Harshfield introduces his "Harsh Truths" series.
Dr. Lewis explains why Labcorp is dropping H. pylori serology test. He also explains why this test is vitally important, and the remaining options are inconvenient, expensive, and not adequately quantitative.

20:00:42 From risa Hyman : Could you please address epiretinal membrane and eye doctors that say we will just observe
20:03:20 From Martha Stark, MD : Dr. Tom – Speaking of Dr. David Jockers – I too think he does a great job of things (and I love his wonderful diagrams) –
But in one of his diagrams, he writes that “acute inflammation” goes hand in hand with “innate immunity.”
He goes on to write, however, that “chronic inflammation” goes hand in hand with “adaptive immunity.”
We would not agree with this latter statement about “chronic inflammation,” would we???
20:03:57 From Scott's S21 : What do you think about Ardis recommending nicotine for long covid?
20:09:36 From Steve : Replying to "What do you think ab..."
If you listen/watch many of his presentations he cites the proof that it takes to reach saturation validation.
BTW, it's not only Ardis. There are many other practitioners/researchers that have joined his efforts to expose the venom angle.

From online – “In fact, the World Health Organization considers nicotine replacement therapy an essential medicine. Nicotine has been shown to be protective in a handful of other diseases, and laboratory studies suggest it may play a part in regulating an enzyme called ACE2, which is thought to be involved in COVID-19.”
20:14:01 From Joel B. Peterson : Reacted to "From online – “In fa..." with ❤️
20:14:02 From Steve : Replying to "What do you think ab..."
Actually, the studies/journal articles, etc. state that the ACE2 receptor theory is/was a red-herring. The true target of the venom is the Alpha7-Nicotinic receptor.
Again, he has the documentation to prove this.
20:15:41 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Nicotine receptor has to do with production of acetyl choline - which needs to be at the right level to have a good brain - not to high and not too low
20:15:42 From Steve : Replying to "What do you think ab..."
BTW, nicotine is not addictive. The tobacco industry added pyrazines to cigs to make them addictive.
That horrible industry coats the inside of cig paper with arsenic. How nice.

alpha7 nicotinic acetyl choline receptor.

20:39:35 From Willie Williams : I appreciate being apart of this call. I have a question/concern that I would hope to get your opinions on.
My father has had issues with the nerves in his mouth for about the last 6 years. His tongue is constantly out of his mouth, constantly moving. He owns a business, and when he has a lot going on his tongue and mouth tells you.
2 years before his tongue started reacting this way, he received a surgery which removed muscle mass from his shoulder. Since, he has been given a hand full of medicines (unfortunately I do not have the names) but they range from anti-psychotics to steroids to Botox.. all failed. Mis-diagnosed Tardive Dyskinesia, MRIs came up empty, Parkinsons also ruled out.
I would only like hopefully understand why he is still experiencing this. He has completely given up and currently lives with his tongue out always, in front of people and customers and living very uncomfortably but accepts it due to not receiving any answers from multiple opinions.
Thank you for reading and thank you @Louise Vogel

Craniocervical junction abnormalities are congenital or acquired abnormalities of the occipital bone, foramen magnum, or first two cervical vertebrae that decrease the space for the lower brain stem and cervical cord. These abnormalities can result in neck pain; syringomyelia; cerebellar, lower cranial nerve, and spinal cord deficits; and vertebrobasilar ischemia. Diagnosis involves magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT).

79. Eyes & Whole Body Health - Part 3 - Dr. Lewis
Your eyes are a window to your health. Importantly, examination of your eyes reveals pathology changes. These changes are "closest" to a disease. That is, adverse pathology is more important compared to life risks and physiological changes (biomarkers).
Any eye pathology must be taken seriously. For example, people with cataracts die at MUCH HIGHER RATES compared to age-matched individuals without cataracts. And, the cause of death is almost always cardiovascular in nature.
Here is the chat log from the webinar.

20:11:30 From Martha To Dr. Tom Lewis(privately) : YES – “Ugh Amoeba” is certainly a different meaning from “Ugo Amobi”!!
20:11:57 From Steve : Dr Lewis, have you mentioned which full-spectrum light bulb you use? I was surprised to read about orange light .
20:13:27 From Dr. Tom Lewis : This is the full spectrum light I use - and I take off the plate glass filter.

20:15:26 From Jeffrey : I have to say, being the artist I am, the painting in the background is amazing, and then with the sun rays coming through and the rays on the painting following through to his shirt is amazing.
20:16:12 From Steve : Reacted to I have to say, being... with "👍"
20:16:18 From Doris Fellenz : That was the first thing I notice also Jeff.
20:16:42 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Steve: In optics, orange is the colour seen by the eye when looking at light with a wavelength between approximately585–620 nm.

20:17:19 From Dr. Tom Lewis : This shows that cytochrome c oxidase absorbs in the orange - not red.
20:18:18 From Martha : Can the water-soluble C60 then easily get through the cell membrane to the interior of the cell?
20:19:56 From Steve : Did I understand your excellent light article correctly that red light doesn't activate the MB sufficiently?
20:21:45 From Dr. Tom Lewis : It DOES activate MB - just not the most energetic band of MB - MD has 2 strong peaks - thus 2 easily accessed excited states. One at around 660 and the other around 615. 615 his higher energy. That’s why I use full spectrum light when taking MD, not just 660 light.
20:22:15 From Martha : Ugo – What are the advantages of / disadvantages to water-soluble C60 vs. fat-soluble C60?
20:22:48 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Pardon the bad spelling - MB has 2 strong peaks.

20:28:06 From Steve : Would be interesting to run a before and after Cyrex Lymphocyte Map test to determine the effect of the C60.
20:28:36 From Dr. Tom Lewis : agreed
20:29:17 From Jeffrey : Reacted to "Would be interesting..." with 👍
20:29:52 From Steve : @Jeffrey, for those with already elevated WBCs that might now be a good result.
20:32:31 From Martha : Are there any adverse effects to this water-soluble C60? – other than, perhaps, an initial “healing crisis” (which, of course, isn’t really an adverse effect!…

20:54:59 From Joel B. Peterson : Yahkiawakend
20:55:54 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Martha: My recollection from toxicology days - propylene glycol is not harmful but the ethylene glycol is harmful. Again, it’s been a while do I’m not sure why. But believe that it is due to the breakdown products. Ethylene glycol breaks down to a toxic aldehyde in the body.

12:01:38 From JoAnn Mayer : I started Dr Ben's post COVID protocol. Not an easy protocol to follow, but feeling wonderful after 2 weeks. How long do you recommend to follow the protocol.
12:01:55 From Martha Stark, MD : Thank you, Steve! Oh my God! It never occurred to me that the swabs themselves could be toxic! What I did know is that toxins were placed (by the manufacturers) on the tips of women’s “tampons” (for their periods) – so that they would buy more tampons. Disgusting!
12:02:27 From Louise Vogel : Joy thank you
12:03:19 From Doris Fellenz : There was a report a while back on how the swabs are toxic.

Thank you, Doris!!
12:14:11 From leslie : questions after last week - 1) can we use hypochlorous acid in any ways other than on surfaces or spraying in air? 2) logged in just in time to hear end of conversation questioning arginine supplementation a few hours after I starting reading Methelyne Blue book that said Nitric Oxide is terrible for our health other than acute reactions. What was the start of that conversation?
12:19:18 From Steve : Replying to "questions after last..."
Dr. H. has mentioned many times that hypo/acid can be nebulized (I've done this many times).
Arginine needs to be balanced with L-Lysine. Lysine is an anti-viral, so supp'ing with arginine might compromise your system against the microbes.
12:19:44 From Doris Fellenz : Does anyone spray either Biocidin or Argentyn 23 in their nostrials.
12:20:51 From Doris Fellenz : I use both and switch up, I spray the Argentyn 23 in my eyes and ears.
12:21:41 From Doris Fellenz : Sorry, I use the argentyn 23 in my eyes with a dropper.
12:22:14 From Martha Stark, MD : I would love to hear the answer to your question. I certainly spray Biocidin into my throat and Argentyn 23 into my ears – but I had not thought to spray it into my nose!
12:22:43 From Doris Fellenz : Argentyn 23 and MSM does not sting at all in the eyes.

15. IODINE CONTROVERSY - SOLVED
Iodine is a critical nutrient for energy production - through the T4 and T3 hormones from the thyroid. But iodine plays a role in detoxification and as an anti-infective agent. Iodine plays a role at reducing breast cancer, for example, probably due to both actions.
The RDA for iodine intake is quite low. Many functional doctors also recommend low intake of iodine. The reason is a concern about Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
Basing iodine intake on Hashimoto's that impacts between 1-2% of the population is the tail wagging the dog. That is why we have developed a protocol to help people optimize iodine intake at levels often much higher than dictated by Hashimoto's.

78. Static Magnets to Relieve Pain & Improve Overall Health
Peter Kulish, static magnet expert explain how they work and how they can be used.
https://biomagscience.net/
We have 40 years of research and development of Advanced Magnetic Therapies (Biomagnetism) for over 180 Health Conditions. We’ll show you how easy magnetic therapy is to use for the results you expect and need.
Our magnetic polarity therapies are based on the energy measurements taught in Physiology and Energy Medicine. Our therapies simply amplify the body’s own energy to support rapid healing and pain relief, often producing remarkable, miracle-like results.
Most companies do not offer the ‘proper’ bio magnets for healing use nor the proper application. All to often, we observe weak magnets putting the wrong energy into the wrong location. The wrong application does not work and often causes stress and discomfort in the body.
All BiomagScience Biomagnets are certified therapeutic quality, polarity color coded and come with simple illustrated instructions for ease of use and proper placement.
BiomagScience therapies are taught in clinics, colleges, universities, and used by practitioners and millions of people worldwide every day.

Not to embarrass myself here, but I am hoping you can offer a very “simple” “one-and-done” protocol for the placement of a 2-stack set of “energizing” magnets on my clothes (my body) – magnets that I would then wear for a number of hours, being careful to remove them in the afternoon so as not to have problems sleeping at night.

12:50:05 From d harshfield : Electronic devices are being increasingly used in our lives. Fossil fuels are being replaced by renewable energies, a field that increasingly uses rare earth elements. These elements are used in electric cars and wind turbines. Although procurement challenges and high prices lead producers to seek alternatives, rare earth elements are still being used in numerous technology and Because of their demand, the health effects of these powerful magnets must be addressed along with their environmental impacts.

I see that the Water Line Energizer costs $44.95. So it does not, then, come with the $99 kit? …even though I thought you had asked him about this and he had said YES it did…
12:50:45 From d harshfield : Basing on the results roughly examined from the studies carried out so far, it has been concluded that there are effects of magnets, especially neodymium magnets, on body systems, tissues, organs, diseases, and treatments. Although they have been used in various diagnostic devices in the health sector and as therapeutic tools, magnets are potentially harmful to the body and pose increased risk of accident. Despite insufficient studies conducted on the effects of neodymium magnets, they appear to have a great potential for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

20:10:50 From Cindi To Dr. Tom Lewis(privately) : I had proton radiation 2 years ago after turbo TNBC from the vax. I am cancer free for the past 2 years. Most of the tests you mention I'm good on but I have other things like low lymphocytes, low IgA, IgM, IgG, and some other odd things. I know I have a lot of dental issues; do you think this could be from dental infections?
20:15:16 From Alison Reece : I have a little red light device - 2 frequencies of visible red light (600- odd) and one of near infra-red (circa 840). What I want to know is whether it is good for the eyes, open or closed. Some sites say protect the eyes, but what type of protection is needed - sunglasses, welding goggles, just closed eyes? Does it depend on how powerful the device is and how close to the eyes?
20:18:00 From Cindi To Dr. Tom Lewis(privately) : Alison, everything I've read says the visible red is good for eyes, not the invisible infra red. And they say if it's not hurting your eyes then it's okay. If it feels like it's hurting, it's not good.
20:20:37 From Jeffrey : Replying to "I have a little red ..."
Red light is good for your eyes, just don’t stare at with your eyes and you will be fine. Glancing at it is not harmful.

Near IR
20:24:37 From Jeffrey : Replying to "I have a little red ..."
Yes, closing your eyes is fine, but usuall they tell you to stay 2-3 feet away. But I would contact the manufacture to be sure, or see if you can sownload the manual for your specific device.

95. Amlexanox - A Repurposed Anti-Inflammatory
Amlexanox (2-amino-7-isopropyl-5-oxo-5H-chromeno[2,3-b]pyridine-3-carboxylic acid), an inhibitor of inflammatory mediators and a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, has obvious therapeutic potential. Amlexanox also inhibits cell proliferation and migration. It inhibits PI3K/Akt/MAPK and NF-κB signalling. This could bring about its phenotypic outcome on cell proliferation and migration in vitro. The cell cycle is inhibited in G1 via the operation of the IκB kinase (IKK)-related kinases TBK1/IKK-epsilon, possibly also the Akt/MAPK pathway (Moser et al., 2016). Given that this pathway can inhibit MMPs, the inhibitory effects of amlexanox on cell migration have become more revealing of the involved mechanisms. That it can promote the depolymerisation of actin filaments is supplementary evidence for its effect on cell motility.

20:17:10 From Steve : I would use curcumin and boswellia for cox/lox
20:19:48 From Doris Fellenz To Dr. Tom Lewis(privately) : I just read the following: Is amlexanox available in USA?
This drug has been discontinued in the U.S.
20:20:23 From iPhone : Has it shown any benefit for Rheumatoid Arthritis?
20:20:38 From Maura : Infection by injection
20:20:42 From Steve : If I'm not mistaken, the th1 / th2 theory is just that.
20:23:15 From Maura : What is Root Cause ?
20:23:32 From Dr. Tom Lewis : “We found that minocycline interacted with CD4+ T cells and accelerated CD4+ T cells to differentiate into Th2 and Treg cells, while suppressing the their differentiation into Th1 and Th17 cells and reducing neuroinflammation and white matter injury after ICH”
20:23:59 From Mike Boehmer : If anyone has further questions about the mechanisms and use of amlexanox or the other drugs mentioned please contact me at mboehmer@amexpharmacy.com. Dr Halasa and I are partners in CDPMCs and we can reply together for you.
20:25:19 From Stefan Hartmann, PA-C : I just sent an Rx for amlexenox to you Mike for a landscaper guy who gets SEVERE reactions to grass. It knocks him on his ass for days.

20:27:16 From Dr. Tom Lewis : I am showing these because amlexanox is not the only treatment for inflammatory disease - but it may be complementary or potentially more powerful? Or have fewer side effects.

Interesting! Macrolides do have immune effects as you mention, tacrolimus is a macrolide.
20:29:26 From Maura : What about plasmids in the “vaccines”
20:30:00 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Stefan: Often at low dose, even though it is called an antibiotic, it does not express that activity. I can point you to the world expert on this topic - Mark Nelson - I have his lecture on my channel. He has investigated repurposed low dose ABx as anti-inflammatories and found at the anti-inflammatory level they do not express antibiotic activities…. Dose make the poison or cure.

20:31:25 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Minocycline, for example, is neuroprotective and should be standard of care post stroke…
20:31:28 From Dr. Tom Lewis : The favorable effects of minocycline in a therapeutic window of 72 hours can be due to the various minocycline mechanisms of action during stroke. It can be hypothesized that the anti-apoptotic effect, which has been shown in minocycline use,5,6 will appear in a later poststroke stage after more than 48 hours.

Pharma
20:54:41 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Steve.. What I am saying is we have about one thing and its benefits - but seldom is it compared to something with a similar mechanism that has been around for a while. The drug companies are notorious to comparing their efficacy to nothing or something bad. We always need to think about other options. This drug is not the only one that does what Dr. Halasa is talking about - not to say it is bad or inappropriate….. That’s why I sent out some links to the drugs that Dr. Trempe used.

12:43:42 From Martha Stark, MD : Cindy – I think that Dr. Carter was suggesting that in order to get the full benefit of vitamin D3 (with respect to getting calcium into the bones and teeth), then you should also be taking adequate amounts of magnesium and vitamin K2.
12:43:46 From Suzie (y) : Doc can you read the quant?
12:44:00 From Suzie (y) : Mold patients get quants
12:44:54 From Cindy Shroba : @Martha - great, thank you!
12:45:21 From Suzie (y) : 👍🏼

12:47:06 From Sharon K : Can you post link to Patty’s video or website?
12:47:18 From Celeste or Joe : Going back to the spirochete question, Dr. Carter mentioned the herpes family of viruses. How does one treat all of that?

12:52:06 From Suzie (y) : Dr carter demonstrating his knowledge 💪🏼
12:56:28 From Rachel : Speaking of oxalates, I have been limiting dairy and gluten for 5 years so I've been using a ton of almond milk and almond flour and I just learned that almond could be the cause of my hair thinning and teeth chipping because of the oxalates, is that likely to be the cause and what should I do now to counter that?
12:57:48 From Kofi Adega To Dr. Tom Lewis(privately) : I get Dr Carter's explanation.c peptide very low but why is fasting insulin 9.5?
12:59:49 From Dr. Tom Lewis : Kofi: Insulin would probably be much higher if not for pancreatic fatigue. Is my guess.
13:00:32 From Kofi Adega To Dr. Tom Lewis(privately) : Thanks

as a massage therapist, I'd ask their training, continuing education, time as massage therapist. What is their specialty? Example - some are infant massage, some - hospice, some - more spa oriented - hot rocks, etc.. I've learned a bit of today's info through continuing education after completing my education, so recently graduated are unlikely candidates for today's info / work. Hope this is helpful - Good Luck!
