How To Add Water Bladder To Hiking Backpack
If you’re hiking backpack has a dedicated Camelbak water bladder compartment like my 5.11 RUSH12, adding a water bladder is easy and makes your hiking trips so much easier. Not only is it effortless to drink water on the go, but it can also carry a significant amount of water without sacrificing much space from your main compartment.
My Backpack - https://amzn.to/3FnJEe6
How To Add A Camelbak Water Bladder To Your Hiking Backpack (5.11 RUSH12)
-Fill up and secure water bladder before adding it
-Make sure that the main compartment is clear of items
-Unzip the backpacks rear compartment (dedicated water bladder compartment)
-Add the water bladder in the manner where the hydration hose faces upwards toward the top of the backpack
-Put the hose through the bladder pack’s inner hole (Usually located at the top)
-Close the water bladder compartment
-Open the backpack’s main compartment (Undo the velcro strap if it has it)
-Take the hydration hose within the main compartment and feed it through the top hole where the velcro straps were (If there are 2, put it on you’re preferred side)
-Feed the hose through each socket you prefer on the backpack’s straps
-Once you’re finished give it a test and you’re clear to add whatever items you need for the trip.
Benefits Of Incorporating A Camelbak Into Your Hiking Backpack
As I mentioned earlier, ever since I incorporated a Camelbak into my backpack’s water bladder compartment, my hikes have been so much easier. And with the added convenience, it made my trips even more enjoyable.
Some people only bring a standalone Camelbak for the day’s hikes. But for whichever reason you need to bring extra gear, adding it to your pack is the way to go.
On our hiking trips, I use the main compartment for my drone, water filter, and snake bite ointment. All three of those items still fit without any issues when the rear water bladder is installed and completely full.

The Golden Isles of Georgia consist of barrier islands, and the mainland port cities of Brunswick and Darien, on the 100-mile-long coast of the U.S. state of Georgia on the Atlantic Ocean. They include St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, Sapelo Island, Blackbeard Island, Historic Darien and Historic Brunswick.
Mild winters, together with natural beaches, vast stretches of marshland, maritime forests, historical sites, and abundant wildlife on both land and sea have made the Golden Isles a travel destination for families, nature-lovers, fishing and water sports enthusiasts, golfers, and history buffs.
All the islands are located within McIntosh County and Glynn County, and make up the lower middle section of Georgia's eleven barrier islands. Annual mild temperatures average 68 °F, with July highs of 90 °F.[1] St. Simons is the largest, with a permanent population of 12,743 residents as of the 2010 census.[2] Curled around its north end and accessible only by boat is Little St. Simons Island—privately owned and maintained in its natural state with a small capacity guest lodge and cottages. Jekyll Island is owned by the state of Georgia and operated as a state park, with limited residential areas. Sea Island is owned by Sea Island Acquisitions, LLC, and is home to the world-famous Cloister resort and residential homes valued in the millions of dollars.[citation needed] Sapelo Island
The City of Brunswick traces its history back to early Colonial times, and the founding of the Georgia colony by General James Oglethorpe. From its earliest days, the port of Brunswick was important to the growth and economy of the new nation. In 1789, George Washington named Brunswick one of the five original ports of entry for the thirteen colonies.[3] During World War II, Brunswick hosted an important construction site for Liberty ships, and Naval Air Station Glynco, a major operational base for blimps.
The City of Darien traces its history back to the construction of Ft. King George in 1722, and later becoming of the second oldest city in Georgia, chartered in 1736. James Oglethorpe laid out the city plan for Darien, noted for its squares and grid pattern much like Savannah, which he also planned. Fort Federica on St. Simons Island was later constructed to protect the City of Darien and its important commerce.
Tourism is the most important economic driver in the Golden Isles, with an estimated 2.4 million visitors in 2014.[4] Other key components of the local economy include the Port of Brunswick, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, aviation support services, and manufacturing. Travelers to the area arrive primarily via Brunswick Golden Isles Airport and Interstate 95. McKinnon St. Simons Island Airport serves general aviation.

South Carolina (/ˌkærəˈlaɪnə/ (listen)) is a state in the coastal Southeastern region of the United States. It is bordered to the north by North Carolina, to the southeast by the Atlantic Ocean, and to the southwest by Georgia across the Savannah River. South Carolina is the 40th most extensive and 23rd most populous U.S. state with a recorded population of 5,124,712 according to the 2020 census.[5] In 2019, its GDP was $213.45 billion. South Carolina is composed of 46 counties. The capital is Columbia with a population of 137,300 in 2020;[6] while its largest city is Charleston with a 2020 population of 150,277.[7] The Greenville–Spartanburg-Anderson metropolitan area is the most populous in the state, with a 2020 population estimate of 1,455,892.[8]
Within South Carolina from east to west are three main geographic regions, the Atlantic coastal plain, the Piedmont, and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the northwestern corner of Upstate South Carolina. South Carolina has primarily a humid subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Areas in the Upstate have a subtropical highland climate. Along South Carolina's eastern coastal plain are many salt marshes and estuaries. South Carolina's southeastern Lowcountry contains portions of the Sea Islands, a chain of barrier islands along the Atlantic Ocean.

A Digital Paddleboard Pump (Powered By Your Car) - Serene Life Review
SUP electric air pump for a standup paddle automatically fills air into your sup and is usually charged by either your car’s battery port or rechargeable batteries.
SereneLife - https://amzn.to/3BnmMKz
Why use an electronic air compressor for SUP
The primary reason why I decided to get an electronic air pump for my SUP is I knew that if I wasted countless minutes manually pumping the board every time I went out, I’ll end up not going out as often. I personally found it extremely annoying the one time I tried it manual and by the time I hit the water, my arms were already a little tired. Or maybe I just need to work out more?
Another reason is time. As it’s already hard enough to gather the free time to paddle, an electronic air compressor saves me a bunch of time as it pumps the paddle board much quicker than manually. So rather than deeply dreading the annoyance of sitting there pumping the paddle board when I want to use it, which turns into a lower rate of me using it at all, an electronic air compressor removes those inconveniences.
Reliability & Performance
So far I’ve had the pump for about 18 months and in that time it’s been nothing but dependable. It fills my SUP relatively quickly without any issues. The screens display conveniently shows the psi amount, so I know when my board is ready. However, the preferred psi amount might depend on the board you have, but for me, the roc is best between 12-15psi. It also provides a preset psi auto shut-off feature if you don’t want to wait around checking on the display.
Build quality
The build quality of the serenelife is decent. It’s not bad but nothing great. I keep mine stored in the paddle board bag and nothing has fallen apart or come loose. The hose itself is 3.3 feet long and detachable.
Now I was reading the reviews on Amazon and some people were saying it stopped working after a few uses. I’ve probably used it around 30 times in the past 18 months and still haven’t had any issues at all. I also read that some people had trouble keeping the hose hooked up. But with me, no issues there either.
How To Use SereneLife To electronically Inflate Paddle Board (Via Car Charger)
Roll out deflated paddle board flat
Turn Car On
Plug SereneLife plug into the car charging port
open paddle board valve
Plug and twist lock SereneLife hose into paddle board valve
Click on SereneLife power button
Hit the power button once to turn off once SUP reaches the preffered PSI (SereneLife display shows PSI)
Twist off hose attached to the board and remove from the car battery charger

A Day In North Georgia | Fall Creek Waterfall, Burnt Mountain Overlook, Historic Buildings Of Jasper
Today we hike the difficult and underrated fall creek waterfall near Jasper, Georgia within the Dawson Wildlife Management Forest. On top of that, we unexpectedly stop by the southern Appalachian roadside lookout called burnt mountain overlook.
Finally, we Hung out at Jasper, checking out the city's marble architecture, and historic buildings like the Pickens County Marble Jail, and Kirby-Quinton Cabin.
In the "Hiking Epic Trails" series, we find the coolest landmarks on each hiking trail and give them a name. However, some of them already have a name. In order, the landmarks in this video are Zig Zag Falls, Falls Creek Elbow, & Fall Creek Waterfall.

North Georgia is the northern hilly/mountainous region in the U.S. state of Georgia. At the time of the arrival of settlers from Europe, it was inhabited largely by the Cherokee. The counties of north Georgia were often scenes of important events in the history of Georgia. It was the site of many American Civil War battles, including the Battle of Lookout Mountain and the Battle of Chickamauga, leading up to the Atlanta Campaign. Today, particularly in the northeast portion of the region, tourism sustains the local economy.
North Georgia encompasses the north Georgia mountains (far northeast and northwest) region of the state and the Atlanta metropolitan area, although the term is often used to describe only the region north of the metro area, especially in newscasts from the Atlanta media market (which reach nearly all of the northern third of the state). To the south lies central Georgia, with upstate South Carolina to the east, western North Carolina to the northeast, East Tennessee to the north, and northeast Alabama to the west. Part of metropolitan Chattanooga extends into the far northwestern section of Georgia from Tennessee, while most of the rest of the region is tied to Atlanta-area mass media.
The highest of Georgia's Appalachian Mountains are near the North Carolina border, including Brasstown Bald, the highest point in the state. The northwest contains part of the eastern Tennessee seismic zone, and small earthquakes have been felt as far away as Atlanta. The foothills gradually flatten out toward the south. Much of metro Atlanta is hilly as well, especially on the north and west.
Major rivers include the upper Chattahoochee River, upper Savannah River, Etowah River, far upper Flint River, upper Coosa River, and upper Oconee River. Smaller tributary rivers are the Little River, Chestatee River, Chattooga River, Tallulah River, Tugalo River, Oostanaula River, Coosawattee River, Cartecay River, Ellijay River, Conasauga River, Toccoa River, Sweetwater Creek, upper Tallapoosa River, upper Yellow River, Nottely River, and small headwaters of the far upper Hiawassee River and Little Tennessee River. Were it not for a 19th-century surveying error that failed to place the state's northern border at exactly 35°N, it would also touch the Tennessee River.

How To Deflate SUP | Packing Up The ROC Inflatable Paddle Board
How to deflate and properly pack away an inflatable standup paddleboard is actually much easier than you think. But it can be a little confusing at first, particularly when folding it perfectly to fit inside the carry case.
How to deflate SUP & Pack Away
-Remove any removable fins
-Lay the board flat, open the valve located on the rear surface of the board
-Push the center button inwards and twist and lock it in place. This will remove the air without needing to press and hold. (Air will rapidly escape, but a large portion will have to be manually removed, therefore)
-Begin slowly rolling the SUP starting at the top. Roll it tight and as straight as you can while removing the excess air. (I push down at the rolled portion with my hands or knees)
-After it’s fully rolled, place it in the bag. It should fit snug if all the air is out, it’s rolled straight and tight.
-Put the remaining components in the bag. (Fin, paddle after disassembled, pump, etc)'
Issues With Inflating A Standup Paddleboard
Deflating a SUP is easy, but inflating one manually is very annoying. It actually used to discourage me from going paddleboarding in the first place thinking since manually pumping a SUP took time and kind of wore out my arms before even hitting the water.
With that being said, I highly recommend anyone with an inflatable SUP to use an electric pump. There are many great options on the market. The one I use is the SereneLife that’s charged by my car’s battery plug.
It made paddleboarding trips so much easier and more enjoyable since my arms weren’t slightly tired from consistent pumping for 15 minutes. Digital pumps also show the PSI amount so you can get your board where you want it.

Inflatable Or Hard Board For SUP Yoga? (3 Reasons)
What type of SUP board for yoga is a better choice, inflatable, or hardboard?
For a variety of reasons, an inflatable standup paddle board (SUP) is a much better option for yoga than a hard SUP board.
My SUP - https://amzn.to/3iV2aDi
The 3 Reasons An Inflatable SUP Board Is Better For Yoga
1. Doesn’t hurt as much if you fall
Even though an inflatable paddleboard is impressively sturdy when inflated, the impact hurts much less if you fall on it due to the hollow build.
2. Stability
Stability is possibly the most important attribute of yoga on a standup paddle board. In general, inflatable paddle boards are more stable than hard boards. Especially when filled up to the recommended PSI.
3. Softer Surface
The softer surface of an inflatable paddle board makes many yoga positions more comfortable than a harder surface.

Best Standup Paddleboard Under $300 | ROC Review
In this video, I’m going to review the Roc Inflatable Paddle Board, explain why I chose it, and show why I believe it’s the best inflatable SUP paddle board under $300.
ROC Paddleboard - https://amzn.to/3iIIpP5
Portability
First off, this paddle board is very convenient and portable as every component fits nicely in this medium-sized bag. You can easily pack it in your trunk, backseat, or front seat without any issues. The size of the packed-up sup set is roughly 3 feet long and 17 inches wide.
Set up
Once you're at the destination, you can fold out the paddle board and use the original pump coming with the purchase, or make your life easier and get the serene life digital air pump that’s powered by your car and pumps it automatically. That's sold separately.
They recommend pumping it anywhere between 12-15psi. So I generally aim somewhere in the middle around 13.5 psi. Once fully pumped, secure the valve, attach the fin and lock it, connect the included paddle, and your off.
Features
You’ll be amazed by how large the fully pumped board becomes. And even though it feels like a noninflatable hardboard, it’s surprisingly light weighing about 17.5 pounds which they claim is about 20% lighter than average. It also provides a lot of room coming in at 10 feet long and 33 inches wide with a weight limit up to 350 pounds. The convenient handle makes it easy to carry, as well.
But I must say that when me and my wife both got on the board, it didn’t have any issues carrying us but paddling was a bit difficult. So if you want to add another person you’re probably better of with an extra paddle. Another thing worth mentioning is the center of the board is very rugged providing a non-slip deck. Even when the deck gets soaked it doesn’t feel slippery.
Performance
If you’ve never been on a standup paddle board, the very first thing many people, including myself, want to do is stand sideways like a surfboard. After struggling and falling a few times, I learned the hard way that standing forward was a hundred times easier. It was also then that I realized how impressively stable and smooth the roc road is throughout the current. Even through a wavy lake, it holds up without any issues.
I’ve ridden this board in various circumstances and its performance always exceeds its price. With its dual side fins and large center fin, the overall maneuverability and steering is also quite impressive for the affordable cost. If you want to turn you can turn, and it doesn’t overcorrect while rowing when going forward. While the speed obviously depends on how hard and quickly you row, I’m able to keep pace with my kayaking buddies with this board.
Best Inflatable SUP Paddle Board Under $300
Build quality
And finally, the build quality. The roc is made with lightweight military-grade quad-core PVC material. Now I’ve only had this board for about a year and a half but in that time I used it and the enormous amount and never had any issues. And for peace of mind at the recording of this video it comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Now while I can personally confirm the tough build quality of this board, I can also say that the paddle coming with the purchase isn’t as robust. It’s usable which is why I still have it, but nothing great.
Packing Up
When you're done for the day, packing up is quite easy. Simply remove the center fin, open the air valve lock, push and turn the valve, wait 5-10 seconds for some of the air the escape, and slowly roll it up like a sleeping bag while pushing the remaining air out. Undo the paddle, put everything in the bag, zip it up, and you’re done.
Overview | Best Inflatable SUP Paddle Board Under $300
Considering the tough build quality, reliable performance, stable ride, easy portability, and spacious size, the roc SUP is in my opinion best inflatable stand up paddle board for the affordable.

How does Georgia have a Little Grand Canyon? (13 landmarks of Providence)
Today we hike the rim and inside of providence canyon. Although it's one of Georgia's 7 natural wonders, this agricultural phenomenon was mostly created by poor farming practices in the mid-1800s.
Due to the circumstances of how this epic hiking trail was made, the canyon is uniquely vibrant with colorful walls. It also has interesting biodiversity on the canyon floor along with the rare plum leaf azalea and trapped 1950s cars that we search for. It has a total of 13 landmarks.

In the "Hiking Epic Trails" series, we find the coolest landmarks on each hiking trail and give them a name. However, some of them already have a name. In order, the landmarks in this video are ()
Providence Canyon State Outdoor Recreation Area is a 1,003-acre (405.90 ha) Georgia state park located in Stewart County in southwest Georgia, United States.[2] The park contains Providence Canyon, which is sometimes called Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon". It is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. It is also home to the very rare plumleaf azalea.
One of the quirkier attractions of the state park is an abandoned homestead including nearly a dozen rusty, 1950s-era cars and trucks. Due to the environmental damage that removing the vehicles would cause, park officials have decided to leave them alone.
Canyon formation
Providence Canyon is not actually a purely natural feature: many of the massive gullies — the deepest of which is more than 150 feet (46 m) — are the result of erosion due to poor farming practices in the 19th century.[3]
This story of the origin of the canyons has been commonplace since the 1940s, but the formations in the canyons are at least partially natural.[citation needed] Although there were probably a few early arrivals before 1825, the first heavy influx of settlers in Stewart County only came after the Treaty of Indian Springs (1825), by which the Creek Indians were forced to cede all their lands east of the Chattahoochee River. Evidence of the existence of the canyons at this time includes their mention in a deed by James S. Lunsford to William Tatam from 1836.

Comparing 3 Affordable Kayaks From Dicks Sporting Goods
In this video, I compare the three sit-on-top kayaks I have at my home; Pelican Blitz 100X Kayak, Field & Stream AXE 100, and my wife’s which is the Pelican Bandit 100 NXT. All of thes kayaks are very inexpensive from Dick's Sporting Goods.
Features
All of them provide roughly the same features and specifications but the Pelican Blitz 100X is the only one with two drink holders and it comes with a standalone removable case. It’s also the shortest of the two with a slightly wider body.
The Field & Stream has a lighter weight limit of 280 pounds as the others have a 300-pound load capacity. Yet, it’s also, unfortunately, the heaviest at 49 pounds.
The Pelican Bandit 100 NXT is the lightest of the three at 40 pounds but unfortunately doesn’t have any fishing rod holes.
So when it comes to the features, both Pelicans are roughly tied but the Field & Stream is the clear loser as it’s the heaviest, with the lowest weight capacity.
Performance & Stability
As for performance and stability, both pelicans are nearly identical but I’ll give a very slight edge to the Pelican Blitz. I think it’s slightly more stable than the Bandit and even more so than the Field and stream. Both Pelican’s twin-arched multi-chine hull that enables higher speeds through rough waters while remaining stable.
Meanwhile, the Field & Stream AXE 100 has a sharper hull which helps you cut through waves better. Yet, it’s slightly harder to maneuver than the other two.
In my opinion, the Pelican Blitz provides slightly better performance than the other two. However, the difference between the blitz and bandit is extremely minimal. It’s close to unnoticeable.
Build Quality
As for the build quality, both the Bandit and Blitz are constructed of Pelicans patented RAM-X™ material providing a lightweight but tough build with impact-resistant capabilities. Me and my buddies used Blitz many types in a variety of situations and it never gave us any issues.
We’ve also used the Field & Stream AXE 100 in a variety of situations and for the extremely affordable price, being cheaper than the other two, its overall build does exceed the price range. However, it did come with serious issues that I had to fix after the first outing. This leads us to the downsides.
Downsides
While the Bandit has a minor downside of not having a fishing rod and the Blitz is the most expensive of the three, the Field & Stream came with a serious issue that was vital to fix. In various areas throughout the kayak, water was leaking through filling up inside of the hull which could be extremely dangerous. I ended up, patching the holes myself using a blow torch and plastic from a home depot bucket. But even after that, water seeps through in other areas, but not nearly enough to be worried about. However, I am going to fix the other areas where it leaks water soon.
Overall, the Field & Stream is the only kayak with a serious downside whereas the other downside is based more on opinion.
Our Winner
Out of all three kayaks, my favorite is the Pelican Blitz 100X due to its great build quality, additional features, stability, and shorter length for added convenience.
However, the Bandit 100 NXT might be a better bang for the buck if you don’t need fishing rod holders since it’s almost $100 cheaper and doesn’t lack much in performance compared to the Blitz.
