This is a workout from Adam's State track and field team during race week. This specific workout is at 7500 feet in Colorado and consists of 2 x 1K, 2 x 400m, 2 x 200m. As a comparison the 1K reps are roughly at 5K pace. This workout could be considered as a 5K workout or 1500m Workout. The Night of 10K PBS is the best thing in athletics, is a bold statement but the 2023 Night of 10K PBS certainly showcased why it is by far the best running event on the calendar in the UK and possibly globally. With British athletics currently struggling, the night of 10K PBS shows that athletics can be fun and enjoyable to watch and we need adapt this time of format even for events like the diamond league.
