How do you ignore people and do what you want? I struggled with this concept for so long, and I’m sharing what I’ve learned with you! As I've gone through different periods of my life, I've discovered that the KEY to healing and moving forward with my life is to FORGIVE. Forgiveness of others and of yourself is vital for your health, wellbeing, and overall success. As a woman and entrepreneur, I had to learn who I was and what I wanted my life to look like. Most importantly, though, I've had to identify who and what I needed to forgive, heal, release and let go of. Once I did that, my life was completely transformed, and I begin to live life on MY TERMS. We get caught in the cycle of listening to the hundreds, if not thousands, of voices in our heads, telling us what to do and how to live our lives. We either comply and obey these voices, or we lash out, trying to prove ourselves worthy and capable of something bigger and better. In this episode of the Inner Reflections podcast, I am sharing the beginning of my personal journey to becoming more feminine and utilizing my feminine energy. In today's culture, we are plagued with the idea that feminine energy is weak, and that masculine energy is preferred. Until recently, I fell into the category of women who tried to squelch her feminine energy and work only out of her masculine energy. As I hustled, worked, and strived, I finally came to realize that the masculine culture and lifestyle had done nothing to grow me. My mental health was lacking. I had worked for success, but had no success to prove it. I was tired, exhausted even, of my constant striving with no results. Now, I am on a journey to re-cultivate my feminine energy and live out of my most feminine self. It is the art of acceptance, receiving, and playful calm. Today, I tried the @simplemills3307 Gluten-Free Soft-Baked Almond Flour Bars in the flavor Spiced Carrot Cake! I am a huge fan of carrot cake, and this bar was absolutely delicious. It honestly reminded me of fall, autumn days, and I am completely okay with that. This gluten-free bar also had raisins throughout the bar, and it had excellent, soft texture. The Simple Mills Gluten-Free Almond Flour bar also had incredible flavor, especially in terms of spices. Overall, this bar was an excellent mid-day snack. It was a little sweet, a little spicy, and had that satisfying, soft texture! I LOVE gummy bears. Let's just get that out there. Today, I am making electrolyte gummy bears. They have gelatin, lemon juice, electrolyte powder and hot water! This was my first time making gummy bears, and they turned out a little bit too much like Jell-o, but I am definitely looking forward to trying and perfecting my recipe! Crunchy is by far the hardest texture to find in gluten-free foods. Whether it's crackers, pretzels, or even ice cream toppings, crunchy is simply so challenging to achieve. It's a sad reality, but a lot of people don't know the extent of Celiac Disease, lol!
