In constant evolution, CAOA CHERY presents the Arrizo 6 PRO to the national market. With more sophistication, refinement and technology, the new premium version of the sedan arrives to revolutionize the segment and demonstrate the brand's commitment to keep moving and connected to the demands and needs of new consumers. The Arrizo 6 PRO is produced at the Jacareí (SP) unit under the M1X platform, internationally recognized for its high level of competitiveness, and is now available at CAOA CHERY dealerships across the country.
The model complements the automaker's range of medium sedans, which continues to feature the Arrizo 6 in the GSX version. The launch also marks the expansion of the PRO line in the Brazilian market, which began with the arrival of the Tiggo 3x. Characterized by highly technological models, with sweeping designs and rich in sophistication, CAOA CHERY's PRO line models aim to be a reference in premium vehicles in their segments.
“The PRO line arrives to show the market all the potential that CAOA CHERY has in terms of innovation. Our commitment to the Brazilian consumer is to continuously seek evolution, bringing increasingly complete products and filling our portfolio with vehicles that are national references in terms of Quality, Technology and Design”, comments the CEO of CAOA CHERY, Marcio Alfonso.
Among the differentials of the PRO version of the Arrizo 6 are the design, even more attractive, with front and rear grille and exclusive details; and cutting-edge technology items such as blind spot monitor, 360° high definition camera, new fully digital instrument panel on 10.25" color LCD screen, 10.25" high definition multimedia with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, among others, that make the sedan one of the most complete in the segment in terms of safety and comfort.
The Arrizo 6 PRO is equipped with a 1.5 Turbo Flex engine that works with a 9-speed CVT transmission. This powertrain set is characterized by agile, comfortable steering and quick responses, thanks to the torque ratios, which deliver a drivability compatible with the Brazilian driving style. In addition, the model continues to have all the differentials that already make the Arrizo 6 one of the most attractive sedans on the market, such as the largest trunk in the segment (570 liters) and one of the best internal spaces in the category, with the longest length ( 4,675mm) and width (1,814mm) between midsize sedans.
The Arrizo 6 PRO has an exclusive design, following the objective of CAOA CHERY to offer the Brazilian consumer a complete portfolio with differentiated options for the most diverse consumer profiles. Among the novelties of the new version is the front grille. Imposing and with an expressive look, it presents chrome plates that give the impression of depth and that combine harmoniously with the large headlights.
The headlights are now all LED in this new version and the daytime running lights (DRLs) have gained chrome details. At the rear, the lanterns with a distinctive design are joined by a connecting bar in glossy black. On the side, the exclusive design of the 17" alloy wheels draw attention and give even more vehicle personality.
Synonymous with sophistication, the Arrizo 6 PRO has an interior marked by comfort, design and a touch of refinement in every detail. The new high definition 10.25" LCD/TFT color media center is one of the model's highlights and is fully integrated into the center section with a gloss black finish, giving the interior an even more technological touch.
The raised center console has ergonomically installed controls such as the electronic parking brake, AutoHold and multimedia center control, prioritizing driver comfort. The steering wheel is multifunctional with a straight base, coated in premium material, and the digital and color instrument panel has a 10.25" LCD/TFT screen.
The seats gained electrical adjustment on the driver's side with six adjustment possibilities: seat distance, height and backrest inclination. In addition, they are ergonomic, coated in premium material and have a unique design for this vehicle. Comfort also remains one of the differentials of the Arrizo 6 in the PRO version. At 4,675 mm long, 1,814 mm wide, 1,493 mm high and with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm, it has one of the best interior spaces in its category.

HONDA ELITE 125 2022 the entry level of Scooters
The Honda Elite 125 completes three years in the domestic market, reaffirming itself as the best choice in the category, a position proven by the 72% share in its segment obtained last September. This impressive brand surpasses the record share of 71% achieved by its predecessor Honda Lead, marketed between 2009 and 2016.
The 2022 version of the Honda Elite 125, a model capable of attracting newbies to the handlebars, experienced motorcyclists and a significant portion of female users, is renewed through an unprecedented color. Updated graphics and enlarged black areas on the front and bottom side complement the 2022 model, highlighting the update.
Owner of an attractive design, in which the aggressiveness of the angular shapes gives the set a unique personality, the Elite 125 also stands out for the refinement of the materials used. Plastic and metallic parts combine textures with exquisitely finished surfaces, extolling the high perception of quality that is common to all Honda models.
The LED-illuminated optical group is, together with the LCD instrument panel, another highlight of the Elite 125, ensuring efficiency in day or night use. The storage compartment on the back of the front shield, the hook for bags and backpacks and the flat floor that facilitates the transport of small loads is complemented by the compartment under the seat, capable of housing a full-face helmet, and whose opening command is given through the ignition key.
One of the most appreciated features of the Elite 125 is the two-level seat located just 772 mm from the ground, a distance that makes it easy to put your feet on the ground, something especially welcome for beginners. The ergonomics of the Elite 125 was the object of careful study by the designers, who sought a riding position that reconciled full control of the scooter and a natural adaptation to different body types.
On a technical level, the Honda Elite 125 exceeds expectations for reliability and performance through its 124.9 cc OHC single-cylinder engine, equipped with fan-forced air cooling and powered by the PGM-FI electronic injection system. With a maximum power of 9.34 hp and a maximum torque of 1.05 kgf m, it provides fully adequate accelerations and speed resumptions, in which the smoothness and operating precision of the CVT automatic transmission is highlighted.
The steel underbone chassis has telescopic fork suspension at the front and a 12-inch wheel. At the back is a monoshock with adjustable spring load and a 10-inch wheel. The braking with the CBS system - Combined Brake System - is done through the front disc and rear drum.
Offered in three color options - the unprecedented metallic gray -, pearl red and white, the 2022 Honda Elite 125 will be available at Honda dealers starting October 28. The suggested public price based on the Federal District, which does not include freight or insurance expenses, is R$ 10,120.00.
The warranty is 3 years with no mileage limit, plus free Pro Honda oil in seven revisions (free supply of oil is valid from the 3rd revision).

RENAULT SANDERO S EDITION a special version with sporty look and 1.0 liter engine
Renault starts selling the Sandero S Edition, a special series that brings an attractive combination of comfort and sporty design to the hatch, maintaining all the characteristics that have established the model in the Brazilian market, such as the great internal space, robustness and low maintenance cost. .
Since its launch in Brazil, the Renault Sandero has sought to stay connected with its audience through special series that offer youthful and sporty appeal. Examples of this were the limited editions Vibe and Tech Run, released in 2009 and 2013, respectively.
Now, in 2021, it's the turn of the special S Edition series, which offers consumers an attractive visual combination highlighting the model's lines. On the new front, the bumper is inspired by the part adopted in the Sandero R.S. 2.0 with LED daytime running lights positioned at the bottom and integrated frame, finished in gray. The lower part also features the honeycomb grille – another allusion to the sporty R.S. 2.0 – while the upper grille, horizontal, has a black finish, highlighting the Renault logo in the center.
The headlights are darkened, with double focus, being the same adopted in the Sandero R.S. 2.0. Running along the side, the S Edition features 15-inch steel wheels, with silver-tone hubcaps and mirrors that feature a cover with a piano black finish. Behind, the novelty is on account of the dimmed LED lanterns that match the more youthful style of this special series.
Internally, the model brings all the qualities present in the Sandero line, such as the ample internal space, both for occupants and for luggage, and care in the finish as in the details in black piano and dark ceiling, which contributes to the feeling of a more sophisticated environment. . The seats covered in a fabric with a modern and minimalist style bring thick foams and great comfort and ergonomics, as well as height adjustment for the driver.
As standard, the S Edition brings several comfort and convenience items, with air conditioning, steering with electro-hydraulic assistance, front electric windows with "one touch" function, door locks and trunk opening with electric activation, as well as as rear parking sensors. The model also features four airbags (front and side) and ABS brakes. In connectivity, the model comes with the Media Evolution system, with four speakers. This multimedia system features Android Auto and Apple Carplay technology, allowing you to use Spotify, Waze, Google Maps (Android Auto) and Whatsapp audio on the seven-inch capacitive touchscreen, with better touch accuracy.
Developed by Renault Tecnologia Américas (RTA) and produced at the Ayrton Senna Complex, in Paraná, the 1.0 SCe engine stands out for its greater performance and energy efficiency. With three cylinders and four valves per cylinder, the engine features dual variable valve timing in the intake and exhaust, offering 90% of the maximum torque (10.5 kgfm) at 2,000 rpm. The power is 82 hp with ethanol.
Renault takes advantage of the know-how acquired on the Formula 1 tracks, a category in which the brand has already won 12 world titles, to ensure the maximum efficiency of its engines. From the tracks came ESM (Energy Smart Management) technology and the variable flow oil pump, which reduce fuel consumption.
Check out the main items of the special S Edition series below:
S Edition 1.0 (R$ 76,790): Four airbags (two front and two side), Isofix, electro-hydraulic steering, air conditioning, seat and steering wheel height adjustments, on-board computer, alarm, electric front windows with “one touch”, electric locks, pocketknife key and 15-inch wheels, Media Evolution, four speakers and parking sensor.
The Sandero S Edition is available in the following colors: Glacier white, Étoile silver, Nacré black, Vivo red and Cassiopée grey.

VOLVO XC40 PURE ELECTRIC the first 100% electric car from the brand
Future Volvo customers will need to answer one fundamental question: do you want a new Volvo with a cord or without one? Today Volvo Cars introduces the XC40 Recharge, the company’s first ever fully electric car and the first model to appear in its brand new Recharge car line concept.
The XC40 Recharge, based on the multi-award-winning and best-selling XC40 small SUV, is the first of a family of fully electric Volvos. It represents a true milestone for Volvo Cars: the company’s first electric car and the first Volvo with a brand new infotainment system powered by Google’s Android operating system.
Over the next five years, Volvo Cars will launch a fully electric car every year, as it seeks to make all-electric cars 50 per cent of global sales by 2025, with the rest hybrids. Recharge will be the overarching name for all chargeable Volvos with a fully electric and plug-in hybrid powertrain.
From early 2020 customers entering the Volvo Cars website will first be asked whether they want a Volvo Recharge car or not. To further encourage electric driving, every Volvo Recharge plug-in hybrid model will come with free electricity for a year, provided through a refund for the average electricity cost during that period.
“We have said this several times before: for Volvo Cars, the future is electric,” said Håkan Samuelsson, chief executive. “Today we take a major new step in that direction with the launch of our fully electric XC40 and the Recharge car line.”
The XC40 Recharge is everything customers expect from a Volvo, with the addition of a state-of-the-art, fully electric all-wheel drive powertrain that offers a range of over 400 km (WLTP) on a single charge and output of 408hp. The battery charges to 80 % of its capacity in 40 mins on a fast-charger system.
The Android-powered infotainment system is fully integrated with Volvo On Call, the company’s digital connected services platform. Via Volvo On Call plug-in hybrid drivers can track how much time they spend driving on electric power.
To meet the anticipated growth in demand for its Recharge cars, Volvo Cars will triple production capacity for electrified cars and will as of next year prepare a Designer’s Choice selection of popular Recharge models, offering the potential for radically reduced delivery times. Volvo Cars aims for plug-in hybrid cars to make up 20 per cent of total sales in 2020.
Every Volvo model in the range includes a Recharge option, from the small XC40 SUV via the 60 Series cars to the company’s flagship, the large XC90 SUV. Volvo Cars is the only car maker to offer a plug-in variant on every model in its line-up.
The XC40 Recharge and the Recharge car line are also tangible proof points of the company’s ambitious new action plan, also launched today, which represents concrete actions in line with the Paris climate agreement and supports Volvo Cars’ ambition to become a climate-neutral company by 2040.

BMW I VISION CIRCULAR is looking ahead to a compact car for the year 2040
With the BMW i Vision Circular, the BMW Group is looking ahead to a compact BMW for the year 2040 that is focused squarely on sustainability and luxury. The four-seater is fully electrically powered and offers a generous amount of interior space within its around four-metre-long footprint. It has furthermore been designed according to circular economy principles across the board and therefore symbolises the BMW Group’s ambitious plan to become the world’s most sustainable manufacturer in the individual premium mobility space.
The Vision Vehicle is one of five different concept vehicles with which the BMW Group is presenting how it envisages individual urban mobility at the IAA Mobility 2021 event. Under a single umbrella spanning electric mobility, digitalisation and sustainability, the five pioneering concepts create a versatile mobility mix on two and four wheels fuelled by sustainable thinking, which comprehensively addresses an extremely wide range of mobility needs in the face of fast-changing requirements and growing challenges.
Circular economy and secondary materials cut CO2 emissions.
The BMW Group’s overriding aim as it strives to achieve climate neutrality is to reduce CO2 emissions throughout a vehicle’s entire life cycle. Besides electrifying the product portfolio and switching to renewable energy for manufacturing, the company is focusing particularly on circular economy principles and the use of secondary materials. These materials, such as secondary aluminium and secondary steel, can be obtained by recycling waste material and then reused. The process for supplying secondary materials is far less harmful to the environment and carbon intensive compared to the extraction and manufacture of primary material. This can bring about a major improvement in a vehicle’s carbon footprint, especially on the supply chain side. At present, vehicles from the BMW Group are manufactured using nearly 30 per cent recycled and reused material on average. The ‘secondary first’ approach is intended to gradually increase this figure to 50 per cent.
The overriding design aim for the BMW i Vision Circular was to create a vehicle that is optimised for closed materials cycles and achieves 100% use of recycled materials / 100% recyclability. This involves making particular use of materials that have already completed a product life cycle – or secondary materials as they are known – alongside certified bio-based raw materials. The same applies to the energy storage device: the all-solid-state battery in the BMW i Vision Circular is 100 per cent recyclable and manufactured almost entirely using materials sourced from the recycling loop. It will achieve much higher energy density with significantly reduced use of the most valuable resources.
Circular design – a new approach.
“We gave thorough consideration to circularity from the outset during the design process for the BMW i Vision Circular. As a result, this Vision Vehicle is packed with innovative ideas for combining sustainability with a new, inspirational aesthetic – we call this approach ‘circular design’,” explains Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. Circular design embraces the four principles of RE:THINK, RE:DUCE, RE:USE and RE:CYCLE.
RE:THINK. Circular product design begins by thinking about things differently. For the BMW i Vision Circular this meant scrutinising processes and manufacturing technologies and thinking differently. The function performed by each component part up to now was examined, after which the part was removed without replacement or cleverly repackaged where appropriate and then designed to enable closed materials cycles.
RE:DUCE. “I do more with less” has long been an integral part of the BMW i philosophy. The BMW i Vision Circular demonstrates this through the rigorously applied reduction in the number of component parts, material groups and surface finishes, dispensing completely with exterior paintwork, leather and chrome, for instance. Materials from bio-based raw materials also help to minimise environmental impact and contribute to a smaller carbon footprint. As far as the digitalisation features are concerned, smart control panels reduce both complexity and the use of materials. In addition to this, digital surface treatments enable a reduction in the number of hardware variants at the same time as opening up whole new possibilities for design.

RENAULT MEGANE E-TECH Electric high tech high sensations
The all-new Mégane E-TECH Electric is a new comer in the EV world. As such, it is part of an ecosystem where the vehicle represents a hardware platform housing state-of-the-art software and optimized connectivity to deliver new experiences. Thanks to the new CMF-EV platform, Mégane E-TECH Electric offers great roominess on the inside and dynamism on the road with its direct yet precise steering.
Much like a smartphone, the All-new Mégane E-TECH Electric merges seamlessly into the digital ecosystem of its user. It is a high-tech vehicle always ready to serve, thanks to its new OpenR display and its new OpenR Link multimedia system, developed with Google and based on Android Automotive OS, comes with Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play built-in for a helpful, personalized and seamless driving experience.
Renault sets a new beginning with the strategic choice to manufacture the All-new Mégane E-TECH Electric in France, at the Douai factory, located in the heart of ElectriCity, Europe’s leading EV hub. Renault ElectriCity will soon be Europe’s largest and most competitive centre for electric vehicle production. Located in the north of France, it is ideally located at the heart of market demand.
MÉGANE, IT JUST MAKES SENSE
At Renault, Mégane is synonymous with the compact hatch, a model that has been part of the line-up for 26 years over four different generations. The All-new Mégane E-TECH Electric pays homage to that heritage, through its design and versatility. It keeps the genetic make-up and optimism that is a hallmark of each new generation of Mégane making it an icon of its segment: pleasure to drive, comfort, peace of mind, interior space and boot volume. This new generation sees new attractive features, such as the exciting design, the unprecedented size-to-space ratio, and all the usual benefits of an electric car.
With the All-new Mégane E-TECH Electric, Renault shows that it is continuing on with a long-standing history and building on previous successes under the Mégane name. Though the name is now brought into the modern era and projected into the future. Because it just makes sense to do so. And so, the name will live on.
The new ‘sensual-tech’ language
Just like the brand, the Renault design is changing and becoming more ‘tech’. While keeping all the sensual features that are behind the car’s recent success, it also incorporates some more technological elements (rear micro-optical LED lights, OpenR screen) as well as others that draw heavily on the world of high-tech and hi-fi design (vents grilles, laser engraving on lower door protection grates decorations).
With the extended wheelbase (2.70 m for a total length of 4.21 m) and reduced overhang offered by the new CMF-EV modular platform, the All-new Mégane E-TECH Electric displays unprecedented proportions that have given designers the opportunity to design a powerful hatch with a mastered footprint. The battery is thinner than ever (only 110 mm!) meaning designers could refine the external proportions while also boosting the car’s interior roominess vs. footprint ratio and lowering the centre of gravity for a more fun and exciting driving experience.
Lastly, the All-new Mégane E-TECH Electric combines a compact design with a contained height (1.50 m), and yet the considerable space inside is still clearly felt from outside the vehicle.
Design elements and specific features give a sense of robustness : large 20-inch wheels, protective strips on the lower side and wheel arches, high beltline.

PORSCHE MISSION R a electric race car with 1.100 hp and AWD
The electric all-wheel drive delivering over 800 kW (1,088 PS) in so-called qualifying mode takes the Mission R to a top speed of more than 300 km/h. The power output remains constant, so there is no thermally induced derating – a major benefit of using the electric motors with direct oil cooling developed at Porsche. The electric motor on the front axle develops as much as 320 kW (435 PS) in racing mode, while the motor on the rear axle produces a maximum of 480 kW (653 PS). The all-electric racing car, which weighs in at around 1,500 kilograms, accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in less than 2.5 seconds.
The Mission R features the typical racing design of the marque and is future driven at the same time. At first glance, the extreme compactness is very apparent: it has a length of 4,326 millimetres and a width of 1,990 millimetres. Typical of racing cars, the electric racer sits very low on the road (height: 1,190 millimetres). The wheelbase: 2,560 millimetres. The narrowly shaped cabin reduces the frontal area of the racing car and contributes to the outstanding e-performance due to the lower air resistance.
The exoskeleton is the name Porsche engineers and designers have given the Mission R's eye-catching carbon cage. The carbon fibre composite cage structure combines high protection potential for the driver with low weight and a distinctive look.
The protective structure forms the roof section and is visible from the outside. Like a half-timbered construction, it provides a framework around six transparent segments made of polycarbonate. This means that racing drivers can now enjoy a new feeling of generous space. There are also some transparent surfaces, including a removable escape hatch for the driver, which is based on the FIA requirements for racing vehicles used in international competitions.
Genuine motorsports and esports merge in the Mission R. This is due to its monocoque type driver cell that is designed as a self-contained module and can be used in exactly the same form outside the vehicle as a simulator. This allows the racing driver to prepare for his next race virtually in a familiar environment. It also means that the racing drivers of tomorrow can also take part in esports events.
The seat, steering wheel, controls, adjustable pedals and screens form a compact unit and lie along the same axis. The full bucket seat offers high protection potential for the driver. It also has an innovative design and is produced in part using additive manufacturing processes as a so-called 3D-printed bodyform full bucket seat. The upholstery is created in a computer-controlled 3D knitting process that minimises fabric waste in production.
Many of the Mission R's add-on parts are made of natural fibre reinforced plastic (NFRP), the basic material of which is made from flax fibres obtained from farming. In the production of the renewable fibre, 85 percent less CO2 is generated than is the case when producing carbon fibre. The natural fibre material is visible on the side skirts and diffuser, and is also used in the interior – such as the seat shell, for example.
With the Mission R, Porsche is presenting a preview of the next generation of electric motors. Back in 2018, a team of Porsche engineers and technicians from Zuffenhausen and Weissach began developing extremely powerful and highly efficient electric motors.

MERCEDES-BENZ EQG CONCEPT Stronger than time Mercedes-Benz G Class ready for the age of e mobility
With the Concept EQG, Mercedes-Benz presents the near-production study of an all-electric model variant of its utilitarian off-road icon. Visually, the concept car combines the unmistakably striking look of the G-Class with selected design elements typical of all-electric models from Mercedes as contrasting highlights. The 4x4 qualities of the "G", which have always set the highest standard, will not only find their way into the age of electric mobility, but will be developed even further in some areas. The Concept EQG thus offers a promising preview of what a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with battery-electric drive will be capable of.
At the world premiere of the current model generation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class in Detroit in January 2018, Hollywood great Arnold Schwarzenegger, star guest and ardent "G" fan, elicited a promise from the then Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, Dieter Zetsche, that was unexpected for many at the time: The upcoming electrification of all model series would of course also include the G-Class. Just under three and a half years later, Mercedes-Benz is making good on this promise and presenting the Concept EQG, a near-production study of an all-electric G-Class. "Wherever market conditions permit, Mercedes-Benz will be ready to go fully electric by the end of the decade," emphasises Markus Schäfer, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and COO of Mercedes-Benz Cars. "With this strategic step from 'Electric first' to 'Electric only', including sustainable production and the CO2-neutral life cycle of our batteries, we are accelerating the transformation to a zero-emission and software-driven future. We want to inspire our customers to switch to electric mobility with convincing products. An icon like the G-Class fulfils this task perfectly."
The origins of the successful G-Class model date back to 1979. For more than four decades, the "G" has thus embodied the luxury off-road vehicle from Mercedes-Benz. The exterior appearance of the Mercedes-Benz off-road legend has changed only marginally over the entire period. Even as part of the extensive redesign in 2018, which brought with it the biggest technological leap in the model's history, Mercedes-Benz only cautiously developed the unmistakably striking design further. For good reason: because its once purely functional components have long since become iconic style elements. These include, for example, the distinctive door handle and characteristic closing sound, the robust exterior protection strip, the exposed spare wheel on the rear door and the eye-catching front turn indicators.
The Concept EQG is also very much in the design tradition of the model series and can be recognised at first glance as a G-Class. The near-production study adopts the G-Class' angular silhouette including its iconic elements. Illuminated stripes make the robust exterior protective strips stand out visually. The separating edge of the attractive two-tone paint finish – gloss black on top, gloss aluminium beam on the bottom – runs in the area of the front end directly under the overlying bonnet, thus emphasising this design feature even more clearly.
The front view of the Concept EQG looks familiar, not least because of the typical round headlights. Instead of a radiator grille, as on the conventionally powered model versions, this all-electric variant features a continuous deep black radiator grille. In this Black Panel Grille, the illuminated star with 3D effect sets a striking accent. Around it, the animated pattern of "round squares" (squircle pattern) in the familiar blue of the Mercedes-EQ models creates a visual link.

puristic and timeless appearance is broadly appealing, its interior has a
human touch focused on shared experiences, and its digital technology
speaks directly to the needs of young target groups. Access to the vehicle
is granted by means of a camera combined with facial recognition
software. The interior can be transformed into a cinema or gaming lounge,
thanks to a flexible seating landscape. Inductive charging trays for
smartphones are integrated into the door pockets.
Simple design. The design of the ID. LIFE is strikingly clear, reduced and
high-quality. Decorative elements and add-on parts are dispensed with, as
is any complex mix of materials. The horizontal division between the body,
glass surfaces and roof also contributes to the car’s purist appearance.
An individualised and removable roof made of air chamber textile lends an
open-air feeling in the ID. LIFE, while also reducing the vehicle weight.

AUDI GRANDSPHERE CONCEPT First class toward the future
At the IAA 2021, Audi is presenting the Audi grandsphere concept study. Like a first class flight, the 5.35 m (17.6 ft.) long grandsphere sedan combines the luxury of private travel in the greatest of comfort with a comprehensive onboard experience offering. Level 4 automated driving makes new dimensions of freedom possible: in this mode, the interior turns into a spacious sphere of experience without a steering wheel, pedals, or displays. And the front seats become a first class lounge with maximum space, freer views, and access to all the functions of a holistic digital ecosystem that the Audi grandsphere is integrated into.
As the second of three “sphere” concept cars from the brand with the four rings, the Audi grandsphere has a special place. That is because the technologies and design features assembled in it will turn up again within a few years in future Audi series. The Audi grandsphere concept illustrates the brand’s claim that it is becoming the trendsetter at the top of the automotive industry for technological transformation and completely new, holistic mobility offerings.
The electrically driven roadster Audi skysphere concept debuted in August 2021 – it was a spectacular vision of an automatically driving GT that transforms into a self-driving sports car with a variable wheelbase. These two concept cars – as well as the Audi urbansphere, which will appear as the third part of the trio in 2022 – are linked by their overall concept, which is derived from their ability to drive automatically at level 4. Audi is working with CARIAD, the Volkswagen Group’s software think tank, toward introducing that technology in the second half of the decade.
Level 4: not only does it change the interior space of the traditional driver-oriented cockpit and passenger seats into a spacious lounge as soon as the steering wheel and pedals are reduced. At the same time, it opens up new levels of freedom for all the passengers. That is because the Audi grandsphere not only frees the driver from the tasks of driving whenever possible, but at the same time also offers everyone onboard a wide range of options to use that freedom for individually variable experiences: communication or relaxation, work or withdrawal into a private sphere as desired. The Audi grandsphere concept transforms from being strictly an automobile in an “experience device.“
Thanks to Audi’s own services and the ability to integrate digital services, the possibilities are nearly endless. These can be used to access a variety of service options related to the current trip – such as designing a spectacular scenic route, as well as restaurant or hotel options. The vehicle also takes care of everyday tasks that go beyond the ride itself. For example, the autonomous Audi grandsphere concept picks up its passengers with information about their current destination and independently handles parking and charging.
Customized infotainment options are also available, such as seamless integration of onboard streaming from music and video providers that have been used previously. In an additional step, Audi will keep personalized and exclusive options available in the future – concerts, cultural events, or even sporting events that customers are invited to.
The Audi grandsphere concept illustrates the brand’s claim that it defines the progressive luxury of the future: for Audi, that includes the option of new high-class experiences, enabled by digitalization, as well as a holistic approach to sustainability with the goal of carbon neutrality in the near future along the entire value chain.

The new MERCEDES-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ with all electric drive system 100 percent emotions
With the new EQS 53 4MATIC+ (combined WLTP power consumption: 23.9-21.5 kWh/100 km; combined WLTP CO2 emissions: 0 g/km)[1] Mercedes-AMG is embarking on the all-electric future of Driving Performance. The first battery-electric AMG production model is based on the Mercedes EQ architecture for luxury and executive-class vehicles. It thus fits seamlessly into the Group-wide electric strategy. The luxury saloon with an output of up to 560 kW has been newly developed or refined in Affalterbach in all performance-related areas. It impresses with brand-specific features wherever the customer can experience them directly: from the technology to the exterior/interior design and the emotive vehicle sound.
"The AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ is the first all-electric ambassador in the performance segment, made in Affalterbach. It is tailor-made for car enthusiasts who are looking for a combination of innovative electric mobility in a luxurious ambience, coupled with sportiness and agile driving dynamics. With our first all-electric AMG vehicle, we will undoubtedly appeal to and win over a new clientele for Mercedes-AMG. In addition, the EQS 53 is further proof that Mercedes-Benz is consistently driving electrification forward in all of its brands as well. Further all-electric AMG models will follow in the not too distant future, also on our AMG.EA platform developed entirely in-house," says Philipp Schiemer, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes‑AMG GmbH.
At the heart of the new Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ is its performance-oriented drive concept with two motors. The powerful electric powertrain with one motor each at the front and rear axles has fully-variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, which optimally transmits the drive power to the asphalt in all driving conditions. The basic version achieves a maximum total output of 484 kW (658 hp), with a maximum motor torque of 950 Nm. With the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package, which is available as an option, the maximum output increases to up to 560 kW (761 hp) in RACE START mode with boost function. The maximum motor torque is then up to 1020 Nm.
In this case the new Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a battery charge level of at least 80 percent. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h with the optional package. In the basic version the AMG EQS accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds (minimum 80% battery charge). Its maximum speed is limited to 220 km/h.
Mercedes-AMG models have always stood for emotionality. The vehicle sound has always been an important part of the hallmark AMG driving experience. This will continue to be the case in the future. The EQS 53 4MATIC+ brings a new, powerfully sonorous sound to electric driving. Its sound system uses special loudspeakers, shakers and a sound generator to create a special sound experience in two versions: "Authentic" or "Performance". This exclusive AMG SOUND EXPERIENCE is generated inside and out with a tonality and intensity to match the current driving status, the selected driving mode or the driver's wishes.
The AMG-specific electric motors at the front and rear axles are permanently excited synchronous motors (PSM). The decided emphasis on performance is already evident in the output and torque values. In addition, the Mercedes-AMG electric motors are characterised by an optimum balance of enhanced power, efficiency and noise comfort. Among other things, this is ensured by new windings, stronger currents and new actuation via inverters with specially developed software. This allows higher rotational speeds and thus more power, setting standards especially in acceleration and top speed.

The Drive Mode Select also offers additional options to configure steering feel, damper settings, SI-Drive settings, and more, with up to 430 different customization options.
For the first time, the WRX is built on the Subaru Global Platform, which offers increased safety, improved dynamics, and reductions in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). The 2022 WRX will be available at Subaru retailers in early 2022.
For 2022, the WRX lineup features a new 2.4-liter turbocharged Subaru BOXER® engine, delivering 271 horsepower at 5,600 rpm, a broader torque curve with 258 lb-ft of torque from 2,000-5,200 rpm. The increased displacement, along with a turbocharger equipped with electronically controlled wastegate and air bypass valves, improves responsiveness and acceleration.
Every WRX is equipped with legendary Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring. Coupled with the Subaru BOXER engine is either the 6-speed manual transmission, which has been fitted with optimized gear ratios and refined for improved shift quality, or the new Subaru Performance Transmission (automatic) which offers up to 30 percent faster upshifts (2nd to 3rd) and 50 percent faster downshifts (3rd to 2nd). The automatic transmission incorporates adaptive shift control that can quickly respond to perform rev-matching downshifts under braking, maintain the ideal ratio through corners, and respond faster on corner exit. Total ratio coverage range has been enlarged, and lower ‘fixed’ gear ratios have been revised to improve acceleration and response.
Engine and automatic transmission operation can be tailored to driver preferences with three different settings for the SI-Drive Performance Management System. For additional driver involvement, an 8-speed manual mode can be accessed using steering wheel paddle shifters. An available external transmission fluid cooler improves durability and capability under demanding conditions.
The adoption of the Subaru Global Platform delivers a substantial upgrade in ride and handling performance thanks to increased chassis stiffness and lower center of gravity height. The enhanced platform, now with full inner frame construction and increased use of structural adhesives, delivers 28 percent increase in overall torsional rigidity and a 75 percent increase in suspension mounting point rigidity.

JEEP COMMANDER LIMITED TURBO DIESEL 4X4 with seven passengers
JEEP COMMANDER LIMITED TURBO DIESEL 4X4 with seven passengers
The balance of lines brings the elegance and dynamism to a typical Jeep. It also has the traditional and striking seven slits which, together with the unified headlamps, feature a unique signature, reinforcing the breadth and imposingness of the Commander's personality.
The rear silhouette and horizontal bar also match the robust muscles and sophistication of the taillights' signature. In addition, the Jeep DNA can be seen in every detail, such as the trapezoidal wheel arches, ramp angles and ground height that characterize the lateral family feeling.
The optical group was developed to bring an extra dose of exclusivity to the model. The Full LED headlamps provide more safety and have a dynamic arrow, another premium trend, which works as an additional element of elegance to the optical assembly. The Commander's flashlights, also in LED, have an unprecedented design and are finished in satin chrome, with four lower reflectors, one with an arrow function and the other three with position light and brake. The optical group brings total harmony between its lights, since the fog lamps and DRL are also in LED.
Sophistication can be considered the main attribute of the Jeep Commander, which is imposing on the outside and unrivaled on the inside. The interior is designed to deliver a high level of refinement, which can be seen even in the seats, made in leather with suede accents. In addition to being a visual refinement, the mix of materials also brings an unequaled feeling of softness and comfort. The seats also have visible stitching, in a coppery tone, embroidered on the backrest and bench seats. The Jeep logo is engraved in low relief (Limited version) on the seat and armrest, which still bears the year the brand was founded (1941). At Overland, the name of the version is what is recorded on the benches.
In line with the seats, there is also suede and leather upholstery on the dashboard with burnished cooper stitching in the brown and black finishes and in light diesel gray in the gray finish, reinforcing the refinement of the new model. There is also a hydrographic decorative film with metallic finish, which varies according to the tone of the interior: vertical brush with copper chrome, silver metal brush with chrome and even vertical brush with satin chrome. The sophistication is seen even on the model's external badges such as the car name and Jeep logo. They feature a double satin chrome and copper finish.
On the outside, the model offers six traditional color options (Polar White, Granite Gray, Billet Silver, Jazz Blue, Deep Brown and Carbon Black), as well as a new and totally exclusive color for the model: Slash Gold, a subtle golden tone. In Overland versions, in addition to the black roof, the lower moldings are in the color of the vehicle. Inside, there are three colors as options for the interior finish: black leather and suede (Limited), brown leather and suede (Overland) and gray leather (optional).
It is worth mentioning that the Commander brings nine easter eggs scattered inside and outside the vehicle. In addition to some traditional ones also found in other Jeep models, the new Jeep SUV brings new designs.
Space is not lacking in Commander. There are three rows of seats, seven seats and one of the largest trunk of the category with 1,760 liters with all seats lowered, 661 liters in the configuration with five occupants and 233 liters with the seven seats raised, the largest volume with seven occupants in the segment. In addition, the model also has a surprising storage space: 31 liters of volume.

CADILLAC LYRIQ 2023 Debuts, Heralding an All Electric Future
Today marked a pioneering moment for Cadillac that illuminates the brand’s future and resets the fundamental notions of luxury motoring. The production debut of the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ is the culmination of a century of innovation and the beginning of a great new era. With testing of Cadillac’s inaugural electric luxury SUV running ahead of schedule, the brand announced that customers may place order reservations beginning in September 2021, with initial availability starting the first half of 2022.
“Throughout the next decade, Cadillac will define the future of luxury transportation through a series of exciting new electric vehicles, and it all begins with LYRIQ,” said Rory Harvey, vice president, Global Cadillac. “The 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ’s stunning design and artfully integrated technology combined with GM’s Ultium Platform will deliver a high-performance luxury experience unlike anything that has come before it, setting a new standard for Cadillac.”
At launch, LYRIQ will be available with premier technologies and stirring performance capabilities enabled by the vehicle’s dedicated electric architecture. A 12-module, 100 kilowatt-hour battery pack and a rear-wheel-drive Ultium Platform deliver a Cadillac-estimated 340 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque — and a Cadillac-estimated over 300 miles of range with a full charge1.
“Thanks to the modular and highly flexible Ultium Platform that powers LYRIQ, along with advanced virtual development tools, Cadillac has been able to accelerate development and put more real-world miles on prototypes sooner than expected,” said Jamie Brewer, LYRIQ chief engineer. “It’s exciting to see our objectives realized on the road — and it means we are on track to bring this pioneering electric luxury vehicle to customers nine months earlier than originally planned.”
LYRIQ also offers high-speed DC fast charging for public stations at 190 kW, enabling customers to add an estimated 76 miles of range in about 10 minutes2 of charging time. For home charging2, LYRIQ offers a segment-leading 19.2 kW charging module, which can add up to 52 miles of range per hour of charge3.
To help customers take full control of their electric driving experience, LYRIQ will feature next-generation variable Regen on Demand technology4, along with the convenience of One-Pedal Driving5. With Cadillac’s new variable Regen on Demand4, drivers can control how quickly LYRIQ slows down or comes to a complete stop5 using a pressure-sensitive paddle located on the steering wheel. Both technologies make use of regenerative braking to help maximize electric driving efficiency.
Additional 2023 LYRIQ highlights include:
Available Super Cruise6, the industry’s first true hands-free driver-assistance technology for compatible roads
A stunning 33-inch-diagonal advanced LED display with the ability to emit over 1 billion colors
Cadillac’s next-generation Active Noise Cancellation system
Slim-line LED headlamps with choreographed lighting sequence
AKG Studio 19-speaker audio system with headrest speakers
Digital Key digital vehicle access
Dual level charge cord
Standard 20-inch split six-spoke alloy wheels or optional 22-inch dynamic split-spoke Reverse Rim alloy wheels
Customers will be able to select from Satin Steel Metallic or Stellar Black Metallic exterior colors, and Sky Cool Gray or Noir for the interior.
“LYRIQ represents a clean-sheet design that sets the standard for the future of Cadillac,” said Andrew Smith, executive director of Cadillac Design. “The objective I gave my team was to design the LYRIQ with the level of detail that they would a show car. The customer should feel like they’re driving in the future.”
