FERRARI 296 GTB arrives with V6 Turbo Hybrid engine and 830 hp
FERRARI 296 GTB arrives with V6 Turbo Hybrid engine and 830 hp
The 296 GTB, the latest evolution of Maranello’s mid-rear-engined two-seater berlinetta, was premiered today during an online event broadcast on Ferrari’s social media and web channels. The 296 GTB redefines the whole concept of fun behind the wheel, guaranteeing pure emotions not just when pushing the car to its limits, but also in day-to-day driving situations.
The 296 GTB ushers in an authentic revolution for Ferrari as it introduces a new engine type to flank the marque’s multi-award-winning 8- and 12-cylinder power units: a new 663 cv 120° V6 coupled with an electric motor capable of delivering a further 122 kW (167 cv). This is the first 6-cylinder engine installed on a road car sporting the Prancing Horse badge; it unleashes its massive 830 cv total power output to deliver previously unthinkable performance levels and an innovative, exhilarating and unique soundtrack.
The 296 GTB is the first Ferrari road car to sport a V6 turbo with a vee with an angle of 120° between the cylinder banks, coupled with a plug-in electric motor. This new V6 has been designed and engineered from a clean sheet by Ferrari’s engineers specifically for this installation and is the first Ferrari to feature the turbos installed inside the vee. Aside from bringing significant advantages in terms of packaging,
As the V6 turbo is integrated with an electric motor at the rear, the 296 GTB’s combined maximum power output is 830 cv, putting it at the top of the rear-wheel-drive sports car segment as well as making it extremely flexible. This is true both in terms of day-to-day contexts (the 296 GTB has a full-electric mode range of 25 km), and in driving enjoyment (accelerator pedal response is instant and smooth at all engine speeds).
Thanks to its 663 cv and 221 cv/l, the 296 GTB’s ICE sets the new specific power output record for a production road car. Central to achieving this result was the introduction of the 120° vee configuration with equally-spaced firings as well as the positioning of the turbos inside the vee which produces a much more compact engine and optimally distributed masses.
Even to those outside the car, the shrill sound of the engine is instantly recognisable. The first in the F163 engine family, this V6 earned itself the nickname “piccolo V12” (little V12) during the development phase. The 120° V architecture guarantees a symmetrical firing order while the equal-length, tuned exhaust manifolds combined with the single exhaust line outside the hot-V amplify the pressure waves. These characteristics are what lend such purity to the orders of harmonics, which are further helped by a limiter that hits an impressive 8500 rpm. The patented “hot tube” has been completely redesigned for the 296 GTB and is positioned prior to the exhaust gas treatment systems so that it channels the pure sound into the cabin, further enhancing driver involvement and excitement.

PEUGEOT 3008 2022 arrives further innovating in design, technology and safety
PEUGEOT 3008 2022 arrives further innovating in design, technology and safety
The PEUGEOT brand is proud to present the NEW PEUGEOT 3008.
Its exciting new design heralds the codes of a new era of modernity, with pronounced elegance, redesigned front, Full LED taillights, new body colors and an exclusive option for the GT Pack version, the “Black Pack”.
Endowed with intelligent technologies, the NEW PEUGEOT 3008 offers state-of-the-art driving aids, as does the new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® 2.0 equipped with a new instrument panel with high-quality visualization and a new 10-inch touchscreen. high definition for the GT Pack and 8” for the Griffe version.
Completing this renewed experience, the model has a new commercial structure, presented in two top-of-the-range versions. The first one, called GT PACK, made up of complementary equipment, called “pack” with a more sporty and bold look, and the GRIFFE version, super complete and sophisticated.
Always at the forefront of design, the NOVO PEUGEOT 3008 presents a new front with a differentiated and unique style, inspired by the codes of a new era of modernity, bringing refinement and dynamism.
A new Frameless grid, without a frame, consolidates the increasingly sumptuous style, while maintaining the fluidity of the lines. In a new design effect, its fins extend under the headlights, bringing all the elements together. Finally, the model's emblem is now proudly positioned on the front of the hood.
To enhance sportiness, gloss black side openings and a lower protection plate integrate the bumper from the first trim level. In the GT Pack, a specific grille highlights the rise of the stylistic range of the versions.
The headlights were also redesigned to accentuate the aggressiveness and break even more with the codes in force. They feature LED technology in both trim levels, with a DRL extension in the form of a set, and a chrome edge. This luminous signature is perfectly in line with current Peugeot styling and is instantly recognizable.
In the GT Pack trim level, the Full LED headlamps promote a high-tech and differentiated footprint, thanks to the extension of the luminous signature and the cornering lighting function (EVS) that optimizes visibility up to 90 km/h. The fog lights have been replaced by the “Foggy Mode” function built into the Full LED headlights, which turns on the low beam headlights with reduced intensity when the rear fog lights are activated.
At the rear, the new lights adopt Full LED technology (including for the backlight), displaying 3D claws that make the luminous signature more incisive. The direction arrows are “scrolling” type, while the headlamps are covered with a black piano finish, which extends the entire width of the trunk lid on both sides of the vehicle, visually increasing the width of the rear. Furthermore, the GT badges (on the front fenders and on the trunk lid) have been modernized.

HONDA CG 160 2022 in celebration of 45 years of production
Since Honda CG began to be manufactured in Brazil, more than 13 million units of the model have come out of the production lines at Honda's factory in Manaus, AM. An incomparable success story, which confirms the correctness of decisions made almost half a century ago, when Honda chose to produce locally rather than just importing its bikes here.
Present in the country as an importer since 1971, in five years in Brazil, Honda realized that it was possible to implement here a philosophy rooted in the company since its foundation: think globally, act locally.
This initiative resulted in the manufacture of the pioneer Honda CG 125 and its eight subsequent generations, which among them have an enviable aspect in common: the CG has always been the market leader, preferred among all motorcycles sold in Brazil.
It is no exaggeration to say that the Brazilian learned to ride a motorcycle with the CG, a model that remains, year after year, the favorite regardless of the version, from the entry-level Start model to the admired Titan, passing through the practical Fan and the professional Cargo.
Constantly perfected over its many years of production, putting the very first CG side by side with the current one impresses: technological evolution is evident, but it is even more surprising to see that, in essence, the original formula remains the same. CG is a success and the reason has always been, and continues to be, its reliability, strength, economy and an unbeatable cost-benefit ratio, in addition to the lowest depreciation rate in the market.
Versions for 2022 remain four. The CG 160 Start brings a new design to the instrument panel frame and front fairing, with three color options. The CG 160 Fan and CG Cargo also received a new panel frame, new headlight fairing and redesigned internal and external tank sides. For Cargo, the color option is only white, while for Fan the color options are three.
Ergonomics, always the object of special attention on Hondas in general, is highlighted in CG. Being the most used model for professional purposes, the extended periods at the handlebars demanded the study of an ideal riding position. Handlebars, pedals and seat offer a reference position, in which the ease of riding is combined with comfort. In the CG 160 Cargo version, a robust luggage compartment, capable of supporting up to 20 kg, is standard equipment.
• Air-cooled OHC single cylinder engine, two overhead valves
• Valve control with roller rocker arms
• FlexOne System (ethanol and gasoline)
• Diamond-type chassis, stamped steel
• CBS Brakes - Combined Braking System
The 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with overhead valve control system OHC (Over Head Camshaft) is common to the Cargo, Fan and Titan versions. It has an exact 162.7 cm3, and generates the maximum power of 15.1 hp (ethanol) and 14.9 hp (gasoline) at 8,000 rpm. The maximum torque is 1.54 kgf.m (ethanol) and 1.40 kgf.m (petrol), at 7,000 rpm. The PGM-FI electronic injection feed system incorporates FlexOne technology (Fan, Cargo and Titan), which supports the use of ethanol and gasoline in different proportions. On the CG 160 Start, the PGM-FI system only admits the use of gasoline in the engine, which maintains the same power and torque characteristics of the FlexOne models when fed with this type of fuel.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring package
This purist and powerful 375 kW (510 PS; 911 GT3: fuel consumption combined 13.3 – 12.4 l/100 km, CO2 emissions combined 304 – 283 g/km) 911 GT3 with a weight of just 1,418 kilograms is delivered with a six-speed GT sports gearbox as standard. For the first time, the Touring package can also be combined with the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission at no extra cost.
The exterior’s most conspicuous difference is the omission of the fixed rear wing of the 911 GT3. The necessary downforce at high speeds and even more understatement are guaranteed by an automatically extending rear spoiler. Silver-coloured trim strips made of high-gloss anodised aluminium on the side windows are another distinguishing feature that underline the newcomer’s discreet appearance. The front end is painted completely in the exterior colour. The interior, with extended leather items in Black, is particularly elegant and is available exclusively for the GT3 with Touring package. The front of the dashboard and the upper side sections of the door trim panels have special surface embossing.
The name ‘Touring package’ goes back to an equipment variant of the 911 Carrera RS from the 1973 model year. Back then, the focus was already on purist 911 design and elements of a classic interior. Porsche revived the idea again in 2017, and for the first time again offered a Touring package for the previous generation of the 911 GT3, the Type 991. Since then, this variant has appealed above all to lovers of top-class sports cars with a pronounced passion for understatement and classic driving pleasure.
The 911 GT3 with Touring package also offers the atmosphere of a classic sports car in the interior. The steering wheel rim, gear/selector lever, cover of the centre console, armrests in the door panels and the door handles are covered in black leather. The partial leather interior features black stitching. The seat centre panels are covered with black fabric, and the roofliner is also black. The head restraints bear embossed Porsche Crests. The door entry guards and trim elements on the dashboard and centre console are made of brushed black aluminium.
911 GT3 Touring, 2021, Porsche AG
Porsche also offers almost all the optional equipment for the 911 GT3 in combination with the Touring package. This includes all exterior and wheel colours, LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System and Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, various assist systems, PCCB ceramic braking system, the lift system on the front axle, all seat variants, the Chrono package and the audio systems.

HONDA XRE 300 2022 new colors and graphics and all traditional quality
HONDA XRE 300 2022 new colors and graphics and all traditional quality
There are few models that cross an entire decade that are absolutely valid in the broadest sense of the word, and so is the Honda XRE 300, a motorcycle that unites unanimity that has never been surpassed in its segment.
For 2022, there will still be three color/graphic options for the model: XRE 300 ABS, XRE 300 Adventure and XRE 300 Rally, whose technical specifications are identical to each other, and unchanged from the previous version.
The air-cooled 291.6 cm3 DOHC single-cylinder engine, powered by PGM-FI electronic injection, is equipped with an electric starter and has FlexOne technology. Fueled only with ethanol, the maximum power reaches a peak of 25.6 hp (25.4 hp with gasoline) at 7,500 rpm. The maximum torque with ethanol is 2.80 kgf.m (2.76 kgf.m with gasoline) at 6,000 rpm. The transmission has five gears and the clutch is multi-disc in an oil bath, with mechanical activation.
In the cycling part, the tubular steel chassis with a semi-double cradle-type architecture surrounds the engine in its lower portion, offering rigidity and resistance to extreme uses, consistent with the model's adventurous proposal. The telescopic type front suspension has tubes of 41 mm in diameter and 245 mm of travel. The 21" aluminum rim wheel uses a 90/90 tire. The rear suspension has an aluminum scale connected to the Pro-Link system, whose spring-damper element allows adjustment of the spring load. The stroke is 225 mm and the wheel , 18" rim, uses a 120/80 tire.
The braking system has a two-channel ABS (Antilock Brake System), a differential in relation to the segment and the competition, which acts on the front disc (256 mm in diameter) through a double-piston caliper with hydraulic control and on the rear disc ( 220 mm diameter) the caliper is a single piston, also with hydraulic control.
The design of the Honda XRE 300 2022 remains faithful to the remarkable aesthetic refurbishment that two years ago introduced significant updates, without however detracting from the striking character of the model, in which the characteristic front fairing with an element over the mudguard has been preserved. The full-LED lighting and the Blackout type panel, with information that is easy and quick to visualize, complete a harmonious aesthetic set, where aggressive and angular shapes determine an appearance of effective robustness, necessary for a true adventurer like the Honda XRE 300.
The color options for the XRE 300 2022, with new graphics, are as follows:
Honda XRE 300 ABS: Metallic Gray and White
Honda XRE 300 Adventure: Matte Gray
Honda XRE 300 Rally: Red

CITROEN JUMPY MINIBUS for 11 passengers and 1 6 diesel engine
Launch of the passenger version of Jumpy expands the brand's range in the VUL segment and boosts Citroën's offensive in the light utility vehicle segment;
· Citroën Jumpy Minibus has a capacity for 11 occupants and uses the modern and economical 1.6 Turbo Diesel BlueHDi engine, 115 horsepower, associated with a six-speed manual gearbox;
Citroën holds the avant-première of Jumpy Minibus at the 2018 Entrepreneur Fair SEBRAE-SP. The new model, specific for passenger transport - and scheduled for commercial launch in the second half of May - is the second product of the brand's light utility vehicle offensive, after the arrival of the Jumpy Van in October 2017.
The New Citroën Jumpy Minibus maintains the same attributes as the van, with a focus on technology, good handling, passenger car comfort and functionality. Robust, it combines all these features with the ability to transport 11 people – driver plus ten passengers – with total safety, thanks to the new EMP2 platform and the presence of equipment such as Stability Control (ESP), Ramp Departure Assistant (Hill Assist) and three-point seat belts for all occupants.
The model also offers superior performance thanks to its latest generation 1.6 Turbo Diesel BlueHDi engine, which delivers power of 115 hp at 3,500 rpm and torque of 30 kgfm from 1,750 rpm. It works together with the six-speed manual transmission, a combination that results in the best consumption in the category. Furthermore, technologies such as the BlueHDi system, which eliminates up to 90% of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and 99.9% of particles, make the model has the lowest level of CO2 emissions in the segment.
Well equipped, the Citroën Jumpy Minibus will be sold in a single version and will feature items such as electro-hydraulic steering, air conditioning, electric windows and locks, reclining seats, on-board computer, FM/AM/MP3 radio, fog lights, among others. .
The natural vocation of Citroën's commercial vehicles is to efficiently serve different types of consumers, ranging from those in the field of civil construction to those in the service sector. The Jumpy Minibus comes especially to this second segment, which today accounts for 41% of small businesses in São Paulo alone. Data from Sebrae-SP indicate that 5% of business owners in Brazil and 4% in the state of São Paulo use vehicles to undertake. In absolute numbers, this indicates a total of 1.27 million Brazilians.
The New Jumpy Minibus is on display at Citroën's stand alongside the cargo version, launched at the end of last year. The van, which has already received several awards and is the segment leader in Europe, is beginning to build the same successful trajectory in Brazil. With queues since it arrived at dealerships, Jumpy is a sales success. Since its launch, around 450 units have been sold, and in March the number of license plates reached 137, a record so far and a sign that the model has established itself as the new reference in the market. Today, in the sales mix, the Pack version, more complete, corresponds to 80% of sales.
Citroën's space at the event also has special attractions. Visitors who want to see the use of Jumpy on a daily basis will be able to follow the routine of a delivery person without leaving the fair. With virtual reality glasses, they are embedded in a simulation environment that provides a unique product experience.

ALL NEW 2022 FORD MAVERICK ECOBOOST 40 mpg City, seats five and starts under $20k
The all-new Ford Maverick is a compact truck with a unibody design and the first pickup in America with a standard full-hybrid powertrain – providing better projected city fuel economy than a Honda Civic***. Its 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder hybrid powertrain delivers 191 horsepower when combined with the electric motorƗ, and 155 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a continuously variable transmission driving the front wheels. It features an in-house-designed and manufactured electric traction motor, which is light and powerful. Along with its targeted EPA-estimated fuel economy of 40 mpg city* and 500 miles of range on a single tank of gas**, it offers standard payload of 1,500 pounds and the volume to carry a standard ATV, plus it has the capability to tow 2,000 pounds – enough for a pair of personal watercraft or a good-sized pop-up camper trailer.
Those who want more capability can upgrade to a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® gas engine delivering 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torqueƗƗ with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. Equipped with the optional 4K Tow Package, conventional towing doubles to 4,000 pounds – enough for an average 21-foot boat.
Maverick really goes all-out when it comes to functionality with its unique FLEXBED™, which is packed with standard features and opportunities to transform the cargo box into a complete makerspace. FLEXBED gives customers organization and storage solutions to secure cargo, while accommodating Ford accessories and creative DIY solutions. The team developed its features after watching people at home improvement and furniture stores as well as college kids moving into their dorms, observing how they struggled to load things into small crossovers and cars while working around the cargo limitations they faced.
People can create segmented storage, elevated floors, bike and kayak racks and more by sliding 2x4s or 2x6s into slots stamped into the side of the bed. There are two tie-downs, four D-rings and built-in threaded holes in the sides to bolt in new creations.
The 4.5-foot bed can carry 1,500 pounds of payload, the equivalent of roughly 37 bags of 40-pound mulch, and has a six-foot floor with the tailgate down. Maverick can carry long and wide stuff too, thanks to its multi-position tailgate. It opens normally, but also has a halfway-open position – just unclip the support cables and hook them onto the latch pins so the tailgate lip and wheelhouses can support up to 18 sheets of 4x8-foot three-quarter-inch plywood without needing to angle the panels. It’s easy. The tailgate features tie-down clamps that double as bottle openers, and is rated to hold 500 pounds of friends hanging out and taking a seat. The bed floor and sides are low, so almost any size adult can reach over and grab items off the floor.
Maverick is offered at three trim levels – XL, XLT and Lariat. An FX4 package available for all-wheel-drive XLT and Lariat trucks adds more off-road capability with rugged all-terrain tires and suspension tuning, additional underbody protection,.

ROLLS-ROYCE BOAT TAIL the most expensive car in the world
ROLLS-ROYCE BOAT TAIL the most expensive car in the world
As a House of Luxury, Rolls-Royce imbues its products with meaning. A Rolls-Royce serves as a canvas onto which clients reflect their personal tastes, express ambitions and often, define legacies. The Bespoke treatment of a Rolls-Royce elegantly reflects its status as ‘the best car in the world’ while stylishly expressing the personality of its commissioning client.
Ever increasingly, clients appreciate and enjoy the marque’s Bespoke capabilities and Rolls-Royce is called upon, by its clients, to integrate itself into their lives in meaningful ways. The brand and its clients have become progressively closer and the designers, engineers and craftspeople at the Home of Rolls-Royce, a Global Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence, have developed a unique fluency in interpreting the lifestyles of these remarkable women and men. This evolution of mutual confidence has resulted in ever more ambitious commissions, reaching well beyond the scope of Bespoke competencies and capacity, into the rarefied realm of coachbuilding. To fulfil these extraordinary client commissions Rolls-Royce has reached a decision to return to one of the historical roots of the marque and to initiate a distinct department within the company, Rolls-Royce Coachbuild.
Coachbuilding is a highly distilled expression of Rolls-Royce Bespoke and is reserved for those who look to move beyond existing constraints. It is based on a true commission model and represents a collaborative exploration of meaningful luxury, design and culture between the marque and its commissioning client. The results become pivotal moments in time that create a future historical legacy, advancing designs which in turn define an era, extending influence far beyond the original intended purpose of a mere means of transportation.
Rolls-Royce Coachbuild is contemporary patronage in its truest form.
The discipline inherent in Rolls-Royce’s approach to coachbuilding requires elite artistic skills that do not exist elsewhere in the automotive industry. Commissioning clients demand an object that is truly transformative; an object that makes a permanent statement and sets itself apart from anything that has gone before.
In response, the marque must interrogate and deeply understand two worlds. The first is the intimately personal context of the client – their individual life-space, how they celebrate, what and who they surround themselves with, and the experiences that have defined the very best moments in these exceptional people’s lives. The second is the broader cultural context in which a Coachbuild car will exist. Here the marque explores the cultural nuances of the client, movements in architecture, couture, colour palettes, artistic tastes – even hospitality.
THE DAWN OF A MOVEMENT
In 2017, the celebrated Rolls-Royce Sweptail defined the dawn of the contemporary coachbuilding movement. It created a definitive moment that raised the awareness of a new watermark in luxury and automotive possibility, illustrating a new realm of exploitation owing to its hand-built nature. This remarkable product, which was instantly proclaimed as one of the finest intercontinental tourers in history, represented a major recalibration of possibility, and confirmed that the legacy of Rolls-Royce will be defined in collaboration with its clients.
Sweptail set a new waterline of potential and ignited a fascination among a rarefied cohort: collectors, patrons of the arts and commissioning clients of now-iconic architecture. A number of these women and men approached Rolls-Royce to discover if they too could collaborate on a unique commission, one that was even more profound – one that provided an elevated sense of curation. The marque agreed, signalling the genesis of a permanent contemporary Coachbuild department at the Home of Rolls-Royce.

The application of the new powertrain set of the Tiggo 3x Turbo is the result of extensive work of Brazilian engineering. There were more than five thousand hours of developed specifically for engine and transmission calibration with the objective of delivering to the national consumer an experience behind the wheel that would serve to your expectations. In all, the model development project for Brazil took about two years and had more than 150 thousand kilometers run in tests vehicles and 1,500 hours of development in an engine dynamometer.
The 1.0 Turbo Flex engine developed by CAOA CHERY for the market
Brazilian, combined with the 9-speed CVT gearbox, brings a focused driveability 100% on the consumer experience, who can feel the great engine torque like this that the throttle is turned on. The Tiggo 3x Turbo has one of the highest torques in the category: 17.1 kgfm with ethanol and 16.8 kgfm with gasoline, already at 2,000 rpm, which position the above model, including larger displacement engines. The maximum power is 102
hp at 5,000 rpm.
As it is available in a wide range of rotation (1,750 to 4,000rpm) this
torque makes driving the Tiggo 3x Turbo extremely pleasant, due to the responses faster. This, combined with the 9-speed CVT gearbox, which eliminates the feeling of shifts gears and provides a smooth ride. This balanced set also received a new isolation system that results in a vehicle with low noise level and lower vibration levels, which make the acoustic comfort of the Tiggo 3x exceptional.
The Tiggo 3x Turbo has its design as one of its greatest attractions. The innovative look and harmonic is the result of the team work of Chery's Design Director, Steve Eum which has vast experience in the automotive sector and has brought to the brand's models a global and contemporary design. In Tiggo 3x Turbo this look was composed by elements inspired by the movements of Chinese Kung Fu, characterized by strength and
for vigor while delivering smooth and harmonic lines.
The front face of the Tiggo 3x Turbo is an example of this. The imposing grid, which gained exclusive designs for each version, brings movement and depth to the design, both in the “matrix” type design, in the PLUS version, and in the Diamond, in the version PRO. The strong personality of the front of the vehicle is also made up of DRL lights headlights and bumper repeater lights.

VOLKSWAGEN TAOS a premium medium SUV like you've never seen
The Volkswagen Taos is a premium mid-range SUV like you've never seen! Completely new, it becomes the new benchmark in the category in terms of design, safety, technology and comfort. And more: with the lowest maintenance cost among direct competitors. Made under the modern MQB platform, the Taos incorporates sophistication items hitherto present only in the high luxury segment. From now on, nothing will be the same as before!
Manufactured in the industrial complex in Pacheco, Argentina, the Taos arrives at dealerships throughout Brazil as of June in two versions: Comfortline and Highline, both equipped with a 250 TSI engine and six-speed automatic transmission. In this way, Volkswagen reinforces the strategy of offering leaner ranges, making the purchase process simpler and easier. And to celebrate the arrival of Taos in the country, Taos will have a Launch Edition with exclusive design items and equipment, in addition to many benefits for customers.
With unique and bold elements, the Taos has the gift to impress and be noticed anywhere. Its dimensions are proportional, with long wheelbase and short front and rear overhangs. Highlight for the 'A column' with an extremely 'fast' design and high waistline, ensuring muscular and imposing bearing.
At the forefront, the Taos personality is striking. Starting with the full-LED headlamps with an extremely refined design and an IQ system. Light, the most modern in the segment. The DRL (Daytime Running Light) is born from them, LED fillets that cut the front grille with elegance and merge with the new logo of the brand. This is Volkswagen's new worldwide visual identity, which debuted in the ID electric car family. in Europe. The look is complemented by the creased and very horizontal hood, the extremely vertical front and the bumper with striking lines, especially the glossy black finish in an "X" shape.
At the rear, the bumper is in perfect harmony with the musculature of the entire car. The lanterns have sophisticated features that perfectly match the headlights' graphics. The Taos name is affixed to the base of the trunk lid and, further to the right, the 250 TSI emblem - a reference to the 250 Nm torque and the modern turbo engine with direct fuel injection. Beautiful 18-inch alloy wheels, standard on all versions, complete the Taos's external look.
In addition to a striking personality, Taos is a reference in indoor space. The biggest in the category! Volkswagen's SUV is 4,461mm long, with an impressive 2,680mm wheelbase, 1,626mm tall and 1,841mm wide. With these measures, tall people travel comfortably in the backseat, without facing problems with knees scraping in the front seat or head touching the roof.
Taos' trunk is also the biggest when compared to its direct competitors. And much bigger! That's no less than 498 liters to take everything and a little more! The rear seats can even be folded down, significantly increasing the load capacity and allowing the transport of large objects such as bicycles or surfboards.
And this refined ambiance is even more premium with the seats covered in synthetic leather, the multifunctional steering wheel with a new design - present in models of the ID electric family and which debuted here in Brazil with the Nivus - and the sophisticated "digital island", which it involves the driver, formed by the Active Info Display instrument panel with an incredible 10.25-inch screen and the VW Play infotainment center, which uses a giant, high-definition 10.1 "screen.

RAM 2500 RODEO a special edition of Laramie Trim to move trailers
After the success of the Night Edition last year and with high sales in 2021 (13.6% more from January to April over the same period in 2020), the Ram 2500 Laramie has just won the special edition Rodeo, which had all units purchased only 10 hours after the opening of sales. Due to this remarkable success of the model, the brand is already studying to bring another batch. Created exclusively for our market, the novelty exhibits style differentials and, mainly, several features focused on making the largest pickup truck in Brazil even more capable. "This launch takes place exactly on the week of the Rural Labor Day, May 25, and it is a tribute by the Ram brand to the men and women who drive the fastest growing sector in the country," says Breno Kamei, Ram's director for Latin America. South.
Initially limited to 100 specimens, the Ram 2500 Rodeo was thought out with great care to best serve those who transport heavy trailers, such as those carrying horses, for example. First of all, it is worth remembering that every New Ram 2500 sold in the country has the capacity to pull up to 7,861 kg, thanks to the power of the Cummins turbo diesel engine 6.7L of 365 hp and 110.7 kgfm and the security of the electronic oscillation controls trailer (TSC) and trailer brake, with panel adjustment.
But only Rodeo has a factory-prepared bucket for fifth wheel trailers, which practically turns it into a mechanical horse. To do so, the RamBox® side drawers leave the scene and five holes enter the floor of the cargo space, one of which is the central pin for hitching the “gooseneck” (goose neck). At the rear of the left side of the bucket is the 115 volt outlet and 4 and 7 pin outlets for powering the trailer.
In addition, the Ram 2500 Rodeo side stirrups are specific to it, longer, even covering the section between the rear door and the rear wheel, to facilitate access to the cargo area closest to the cabin. It is also important to note that there are protective caps for the holes in the bucket, which now has a volume of 1,628 liters - plus 402 compared to the “normal” Laramie - making it the largest among all double cabin pickups in Brazil.
In the extremely spacious and luxurious interior of Rodeo, the central front console has given way to an extra seat, increasing the capacity for six occupants. When not used, this backrest can be lowered, serving as an armrest, object holder and triple cup holder.
To accompany these features that amplify some of the truck's many attributes, the Ram 2500 Rodeo has unique design aspects. Starting with the redesigned and entirely chrome grille, which stands out for its seven horizontal friezes. Other extra touches of shiny silver from Rodeo are the front bumper hooks.
Just above the windshield, at the front of the hood, what stands out is the set of five amber LED lights, the so-called “cab lights”, which make the truck even easier to see. On the side, the 18 ”rim alloy wheels are also exclusive, but what really draws attention is the Rodeo emblem, inspired by the buckles delivered to rodeo champions, a sport supported by the Ram brand across the American continent, from North to South. By the way, each buyer of the 100 units of the 2500 Rodeo will win a metal buckle with the traditional Ram ram - see here the evolution of the brand symbol.
The Ram 2500 Rodeo is offered in three body colors: Walnut Brown (metallic), Pearl White and Diamond Black - these two are pearlescent. Inside, the coating is always in the elegant combination of brown and beige, an option that already represents more than half of the choices of the buyers of the Nova Ram 2500, since the end of 2019.

RENAULT TALIANT sedan performs new look for the first time
Taliant, Renault's new player in the B-Sedan segment, brings a different perspective to the B-Sedan segment with its modern design lines, technological equipment, increased quality and comfort elements.
Renault brings a stylish and innovative approach to the B-Sedan segment with its Taliant model. The brand, which recently renewed its logo, presents Taliant, the new representative of its product range, to Turkish consumers for the first time among target markets. Produced on the Renault Group's CMF-B modular platform, Taliant brings with it remarkable features such as X-Tronic transmission, blind spot warning system, wireless Apple Car Play, 8 inch touchscreen multimedia screen and electric parking brake. The model will meet with consumers with Joy and Touch hardware levels.
The name "Taliant" reflects Renault's strong and consistent international product positioning strategy. Aimed to provide ease of pronunciation in different markets, Taliant also refers to talent and success.
Underlining that Renault Taliant was offered for sale in Turkey for the first time, Renault MAİS General Manager Berk Çağdaş said, “Turkey is of great importance for the Renault Group. As of the first quarter of 2021, our country is the 7th largest market of the group globally. The prioritization of Turkish consumers for the Renault Taliant model is an indication of this importance. Since the beginning of 2021, innovation at Renault has been in full swing. Following the Renaulution strategic plan, new logo and mission, it is the newest member of our product line. Thanks to its modern equipment level and solutions for needs, Renault Taliant will bring retail and fleet users together at an ideal price-performance ratio. The B-Sedan segment received a 2020 percent share of the total passenger market in Turkey in 2,4. We respond to the 2 most important demands in the segment with the X-Tronic transmission and LPG options of our Taliant model. In addition to this segment where competition is limited, Taliant will also be an attractive option for C-class consumers. As Turkey's leading automobile brand, we expect our new model, which stands out with its versatility, to contribute significantly to our sales performance ”.
Renault Taliant emphasizes its modern identity thanks to its exterior design elements. It reveals its design signature with the C-shaped headlights, which are especially identified with the Renault brand. The elegance of the design signature is complemented by the chrome detail in the front grille and the aesthetic fog lights in the bumper. Staying loyal to its innovative brand DNA in all its elements, the model draws attention with its dynamic design lines. The distinctive lines on the hood, taking into account the aerodynamics, make a strong impression right from the start. Renault Taliant has an elegant appearance with its 4 thousand 396 mm length and 2 thousand 649 mm wheelbase accompanying its curved windshield and a total height of 1.501 mm. The flowing roofline, the radio antenna positioned at the rear and the shrinking rear windows with the roofline reinforce the dynamic structure of the model.
Although the weight of the car is approximately 1.100 kg, the aerodynamic resistance coefficient is realized as 0,654 thanks to design elements such as the curvature of the windshield, the form of the side mirrors and the hood lines. This number provides an advantage in terms of lower fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emission.

The truck of the future is here ALL ELECTRIC FORD F-150 LIGHTNING
The truck of the future is here. The F-150 Lightning is the smartest, most innovative truck Ford has ever built. From near instant torque to intelligent towing, seamless connectivity to software updates, plus power for your home, a power frunk and a digital screen that’s larger than any currently offered on a full-size truck – F-150 Lightning is a driving and ownership experience unlike any other.
F-150 Lightning will roll off the line next year at a new high-tech factory using sustainable manufacturing practices at Ford’s storied Rouge complex in Dearborn just outside Detroit.
F-150 Lightning is a pillar of the company’s more than $22 billion global electric vehicle plan to lead electrification in areas of strength. Ford is starting with zero-emissions versions of its most popular and best-loved franchises – Mustang, Transit and F-150 – with much more to come in the years ahead.
Wickedly quick off the mark, quiet and smooth, F-150 Lightning delivers a new experience for truck owners at a starting price on par with today’s similarly configured F-150 trucks. The electric platform unlocks new capabilities as well – such as enough energy to power an entire home and a massive lockable frunk with power and charging capabilities to spare. Ford will deploy standard over-the-air software updates – called Ford Power-Up – to improve the technology experience, add new features and fix issues without trips to the dealership.
All this and more is backed by proven Built Ford Tough F-Series durability and capability and the largest public charging network in North America.2 The commercial-oriented entry model starts at $39,974 MSRP3 before any federal or state tax credits, while the mid-series XLT model starts at $52,974 MSRP, offering additional comfort and technology.
F-150 Lightning targets 563 horsepower, 775 lb.-ft. of near instantaneous torque4 – more than any F-150 ever – and a 0-60 mph time in the mid-4-second range when equipped with an extended-range battery, based on typical industry methodology. F-150 Lightning targets a maximum 2,000 pounds of payload in the standard-range model with 18-inch wheels, and a maximum 10,000 pounds of available towing capacity on XLT and Lariat trucks with the extended-range battery and Max Trailer Tow Package. The low center of gravity brings even more confident handling whether traveling along rain-slicked roads or through sand.
Packed with intelligent features, F-150 Lightning epitomizes how Ford combines advanced digital technologies with proven engineering know-how to create a truck that’s even smarter and more productive. As part of available Ford Co-Pilot360™ technology, BlueCruise allows for true hands-free driving on more than 100,000 miles of pre-qualified divided highways in the U.S. and Canada – with more Hands-Free Blue Zones to come in the future5.
Another example is available Onboard Scales, which uses the truck’s sensors to estimate payload and tell customers how much they’re hauling. And since payload can impact range, Onboard Scales is integrated with Intelligent Range to help ensure F-150 Lightning gives an accurate estimate of how far you can go. F-150 Lightning debuts available Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, which automatically controls steering, throttle and brake inputs to make hitching trailers even easier.
Also making its F-Series debut on select vehicles is available Phone As A Key. When activated, this allows customers to lock, unlock and start their truck without taking their phone out of their pocket or using a key fob.
All these features and more can get even better over time with Ford Power-Up software updates. These can help improve the performance of F-150 Lightning, deliver quality upgrades, update existing features and add all-new functions and capabilities.

Volvo Cars launches fully electric VOLVO XC40 RECHARGE as part of new electrified car line
Future Volvo customers will need to answer one fundamental question: do you want a new Volvo with a cord or without one? Today Volvo Cars introduces the XC40 Recharge, the company’s first ever fully electric car and the first model to appear in its brand new Recharge car line concept.
The XC40 Recharge, based on the multi-award-winning and best-selling XC40 small SUV, is the first of a family of fully electric Volvos. It represents a true milestone for Volvo Cars: the company’s first electric car and the first Volvo with a brand new infotainment system powered by Google’s Android operating system.
Over the next five years, Volvo Cars will launch a fully electric car every year, as it seeks to make all-electric cars 50 per cent of global sales by 2025, with the rest hybrids. Recharge will be the overarching name for all chargeable Volvos with a fully electric and plug-in hybrid powertrain.
From early 2020 customers entering the Volvo Cars website will first be asked whether they want a Volvo Recharge car or not. To further encourage electric driving, every Volvo Recharge plug-in hybrid model will come with free electricity for a year, provided through a refund for the average electricity cost during that period.
“We have said this several times before: for Volvo Cars, the future is electric,” said Håkan Samuelsson, chief executive. “Today we take a major new step in that direction with the launch of our fully electric XC40 and the Recharge car line.”
The XC40 Recharge is everything customers expect from a Volvo, with the addition of a state-of-the-art, fully electric all-wheel drive powertrain that offers a range of over 400 km (WLTP) on a single charge and output of 408hp. The battery charges to 80 % of its capacity in 40 mins on a fast-charger system.
The Android-powered infotainment system is fully integrated with Volvo On Call, the company’s digital connected services platform. Via Volvo On Call plug-in hybrid drivers can track how much time they spend driving on electric power.
To meet the anticipated growth in demand for its Recharge cars, Volvo Cars will triple production capacity for electrified cars and will as of next year prepare a Designer’s Choice selection of popular Recharge models, offering the potential for radically reduced delivery times. Volvo Cars aims for plug-in hybrid cars to make up 20 per cent of total sales in 2020.
Every Volvo model in the range includes a Recharge option, from the small XC40 SUV via the 60 Series cars to the company’s flagship, the large XC90 SUV. Volvo Cars is the only car maker to offer a plug-in variant on every model in its line-up.
The XC40 Recharge and the Recharge car line are also tangible proof points of the company’s ambitious new action plan, also launched today, which represents concrete actions in line with the Paris climate agreement and supports Volvo Cars’ ambition to become a climate-neutral company by 2040.

KIA STONIC INTERIOR an eye-catching and confident compact crossover
The new Kia Stonic is an eye-catching and confident compact crossover with true European design flair, and is the most customisable Kia ever, inside and out.
A range of lightweight gasoline and diesel engines are paired with manual transmissions, keeping emissions low and efficiency high. The car’s ride and handling are tuned to maximise driving excitement, with steering and suspension engineered for European tastes. The car’s high-strength steel platform and bodyshell ensure high levels of driving confidence and passenger comfort in all conditions.
The Kia Stonic is one of the smartest cars in its class, with a range of technologies designed to enhance handling, safety, comfort, and convenience. The car’s intelligent packaging results in a spacious cabin and enables a high level of storage versatility.
The product of a close collaboration between Kia’s European and Korean design studios, the Stonic will be manufactured at Kia’s Sohari production facility in Korea. The car is backed by Kia’s quality promise and is sold as standard with the company’s unique 7-Year, 150,000 km warranty. The Stonic goes on sale across Europe during the third quarter of 2017, in a segment that is due to become one of Europe’s largest in the coming years.
Exterior design: An eye-catching look, and Kia’s most customisable car ever
European flair is at the heart of the Kia Stonic’s eye-catching appearance. The design of the Stonic has been led by Kia’s European design studio in Frankfurt, Germany, in collaboration with the brand’s design centre in Namyang, Korea.
The designers’ brief was to create an ultra-compact crossover, inspired by SUV design. The compact dimensions and low centre of gravity allow for a sleek, lithe body, inspired by the form, function and confidence-inspiring appearance of Kia’s larger SUVs. With short overhangs at front and rear (830 mm and 730 mm), combined with a long bonnet and low roof-line (1,520 mm in height), the Stonic boasts a sporty and confident on-road posture – without compromising the elevated seated position drivers expect of a compact SUV. Black body cladding around the base of the car, and skidplates at the front and rear, add a further element of purpose to the car’s design. A roof rack boosts functionality further.
The design is greatly influenced by a philosophy championed by Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer – “the simplicity of the straight line”. The result is one of the brand’s most striking cars to date, and it remains immediately recognisable as a Kia thanks to a series of signature design elements. Kia’s hallmark ‘tiger-nose’ grille has been modernised with a new three-dimensional chrome surround, while wide C-pillars echo existing Kia designs, from the brand’s city cars up to its full-sized SUVs. Like all Kia models, the Stonic’s body blends sharp horizontal feature lines with softer sculpted surfaces.
At the front of the car, parallel feature lines run down the bonnet, connecting with the shoulder line. Soft, sculpted surfaces at the front contrast with the sharp horizontal lines of the grille, lower air intake, skidplate, and fog lamps. The 1,760 mm width is accentuated by wraparound headlamps with slim, precise details and LED daytime running lights, depending on specification.
In profile, the low roofline is complemented by A-pillars located further back than in many rival B-SUVs, giving the appearance of a longer bonnet for a sporty, raked appearance. Within the 4,140 mm length, the passenger cabin sits between bold wheel arches front and rear and a relatively long 2,580 mm wheelbase. Smooth surfaces along the doors are paired with a sharp shoulder line, while the side sills feature a striking kick-up line where body cladding meets the painted exterior panels.

FORD BRONCO SPORT INTERIOR rugged small SUV equipped for trails with standard 4X4
The all-new Ford Bronco Sport off-road vehicle – the Bronco of small SUVs – signals for adventure-seekers a welcome return to roads and trails less traveled.
With unmistakable Bronco styling and unrelenting Bronco capability, the smaller sibling of Bronco two-door and first-ever four-door SUVs joins the family with its own idea of fun. As with all Broncos, 4x4 is standard, and this rugged SUV is engineered to handle whatever weekend adventure its owner has in mind.
Bronco Sport is smartly designed to transport two mountain bikes standing up in its cargo area – and two cyclists up front. Four available accessory bundles – in addition to more than 100 factory-backed standalone accessories – let owners easily make the vehicle their own by outfitting it to transport kayaks, skis, camping equipment or whatever gear propels their adventure.
Five trim levels are available, including the base model, Big Bend™, Outer Banks™, Badlands™ and First Edition™.
Like the larger Bronco, the all-new Bronco Sport delivers the 4x4 off-road capability that made the original Bronco a legend. With off-road performance at its core, Bronco Sport provides solid footing on sand, snow, mud, rocks and more.
For maximum off-road capability and long-term durability, Bronco Sport was tested in extreme conditions in places such as the Johnson Valley desert in California, as part of Built Wild Extreme Durability Testing. Badlands and First Edition models pack an advanced 4x4 system with a class-exclusive twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a differential lock feature to allow greater off-road performance – similar to a traditional mechanical locking differential. The system can divert virtually all rear axle torque to either wheel, setting it apart from any other vehicle in the non-premium subcompact utility segment.
Bronco Sport’s suspension can take on rugged terrain and is complemented by Ford’s trail technologies. The small SUV’s Terrain Management System™ with up to seven available G.O.A.T. Modes™ helps drivers “go over any type of terrain” and in various conditions. Standard modes include Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery and Sand; Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl modes are available on Badlands and First Edition.
All models feature an independent front and rear suspension engineered and performance-tested in demanding environments across North America. The suspension is optimized to help drivers confidently maintain vehicle composure while aggressively taking on rugged terrain.
Class-exclusive Trail Control™ technology furthers the vehicle’s off-road prowess. The available feature enables a cruise control-like setting up to 20 mph forward and 6 mph in reverse for vehicle-controlled throttle and braking, letting the driver stay focused on navigating the trail.
For adventurers taking on rough and rocky terrain, the small SUV’s design includes made-for-the-trails departure, approach and breakover angles. An available class-exclusive front off-road camera with lens washer serves as a spotter and helps provide better visibility of the trail ahead, displaying the video on the center stack-mounted touch screen.
Staying true to the DNA of the first-generation Bronco, the all-new Bronco Sport SUV pays it forward with modern, heritage-inspired style, agile off-road architecture and optimized suspension for better control in all environments.
The Badlands and First Edition series are powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine that produces a targeted best-in-class 245 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque for high-speed off-road performance*. Base, Big Bend and Outer Banks series feature the proven 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine with a targeted 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque*.
