The Tiggo 7 PRO is a response by CAOA CHERY to the demands of the market and national consumers, in addition to already meeting the new emission limits of the Proconve L7. Always evolving, the brand reinforces its commitment to Quality, Technology and Design and expands its portfolio in the PRO line, which aims to be a reference in the premium segment, demonstrating its full potential in terms of innovation.
Produced at the CAOA factory in Anápolis (GO), the Tiggo 7 PRO is already sold at CAOA CHERY dealerships across the country, for the launch price of R$ 179,990
Modern, globally renowned and very well accepted in the Brazilian market, the 1.6 Turbo GDI engine brought even more performance to the Tiggo 7 PRO. The engine is powered by gasoline, has direct injection, four cylinders, dual valve timing, with dual phase variator (DVVT), both in the intake and exhaust, in addition to being equipped with an intercooler. It works in conjunction with a 7-speed DCT transmission that provides the SUV with agile and comfortable steering. The wet dual clutch gearbox also has a joystick-type lever and manual shifting option.
This powertrain set was calibrated and developed by CAOA CHERY's Brazilian engineering who, for about twelve months, worked on the project prioritizing performance and agile and pleasant handling. With this, the vehicle gained more power and torque in the new version. There are 187 hp of maximum power and 28 kgfm of maximum torque, available from 2,000 to 4,000 RPM. The performance gain was also reflected in numbers. The sport utility vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.09 seconds, one of the best times in its category.
The project also had partners recognized globally for their quality and technology, such as Bosch, which was a partner of the Brazilian team in the engine calibration process, and was also responsible for the injection system.
The Tiggo 7 PRO was developed under the T1X modular platform, based on a shared technology with Jaguar Land Rover, and which has as one of its differentials the fact that it provides a high level of safety.
Also with a view to safety, the structure of the Tiggo 7 PRO was completely renovated, now using more than 60% of high-strength steels. For this reason, some technologies have also been upgraded, such as the new ESP electronic stability control system, which is state-of-the-art. The Tiggo 7 PRO was designed to meet the 5-star requirements of China-NCAP, the equivalent body to Latin NCAP, and also has six airbags (front, side and curtain).

The Nova Strada Ranch with automatic transmission has many unique differentials. The Nova Strada with automatic transmission maintains the wide package of equipment that has won over consumers since the arrival of its second generation. Stability control with Hill Start Assist (Hill Holder) adds even more safety and comfort to the automatic transmission, while the advanced E-Locker traction control (TC+) allows the model to go further, making constant adjustments to ensure the maximum traction even on slippery roads at up to 65 km/h.
The technology is also present in the Nova Strada with automatic transmission. In addition to the 7” multimedia system - the only one in the segment to offer connectivity with Android Auto and Apple Carplay without cables - the model now offers Wireless Charger, for wireless smartphone charging. A second USB connector allows rear seat passengers to charge their mobile device, while enjoying ample space and easy access thanks to the 80° opening rear doors. The rear side seats also have Isofix attachment for child seats.
The bucket has a volume of 844 liters and can carry up to 600 kg. Light, the back cover has a spring system to facilitate its opening and closing, and can support up to 400 kg. Four lower and upper hooks facilitate the attachment of the most different types of cargo, and the customer can also enhance the bucket with different accessories from the Mopar line.
Value for money has always been standard on Strada and continues in the new CVT version. The oil in the transmission system is designed to last for life, that is, there is no need to change the fluid throughout the vehicle's lifetime. This unique characteristic of the segment is in line with the already known robustness and efficiency of the 1.3 Firefly engine, which generates 107 hp and 13.7 kgfm with ethanol and 98 hp and 13.2 kgfm when fueled with gasoline.

Unique POLESTAR 2 Arctic Circle exhibits Swedish Electric Vehicle engineering better thans Tesla 3?
Polestar engineers its vehicles in extreme conditions in various places around the world – from the searing heat of Arizona in the United States to the bitter cold of northern Sweden. As a Swedish premium EV manufacturer, it is this especially cold environment where Polestar’s engineering expertise comes to the fore and sets the brand apart.
Executed within the Arctic Circle at over 66-degrees north, Polestar’s intense winter testing programme runs for 15 weeks from December to March every year and sees teams of engineers pushing prototypes – and themselves – to the limit. Not only harsh on mechanical components, the immense cold has also pushed Polestar engineers in testing the car in very challenging conditions – even in temperatures as low as -35 degrees Celsius.
Joakim Rydholm, Polestar’s chief chassis engineer, has led the dynamic development of Polestar vehicles for over a decade and advocates tuning in this environment.
“Tuning a chassis on snow and ice allows us to develop our cars in what feels like slow motion and with better accuracy,” says Joakim Rydholm. “With such low levels of grip, we can feel and analyse the dynamics at a much slower pace than on tarmac, which means we can really fine-tune the way our cars behave, down to the smallest details. This is my absolute favourite place to develop cars.”
To exhibit this expertise, and being a rally driver in his spare time with numerous trophies to his name, Joakim Rydholm created the unique Polestar 2 ‘Arctic Circle’ as a one-off special version that brings winter rally inspiration to a Polestar for the first time.
The base car, a Polestar 2 Long range Dual motor with Performance Pack, features several specific tweaks. Raised ride height (+30 mm), increased power and torque output (350 kW and 680 Nm) and custom-made 19-inch studded winter tyres (245/35 R19), each featuring 4 mm metal studs (490 per tyre), give the Polestar 2 Arctic Circle the mechanical credentials to be quick and agile on snow and ice.
In combination with 30%-softer springs, the three-way performance Öhlins dampers, specially designed and tuned for this car together with Öhlins, are set to nine clicks front and rear and feature auxiliary adjustment chambers, and the standard 4-piston Brembo front brakes remain. Front and rear strut braces have been fitted to increase torsional rigidity and steering responsiveness. A new prototype launch control system has also been integrated via steering wheel-mounted paddles. A carbon fibre snow shovel and a recovery strap are mounted in the rear of the car as well.
Visually, rally inspiration has included the fitment of 19-inch OZ Racing rally wheels, four Stedi Quad Pro LED front lights and unique exterior livery in matte grey and white – met by custom-upholstered Recaro front bucket seats in charcoal with Swedish gold branding. The front bumper features a carbon fibre skid plate for additional under-body protection.
“I wanted to have more fun than usual with this car – really being able to push it in terms of performance and handling in a winter environment like a frozen lake. The balance and predictability we have achieved with the raised ride height and specialised tyres are particularly noticeable when you enter a bend completely sideways, with a bigger-than-usual smile on your face, and in total control,” concludes Joakim Rydholm.
The Polestar 2 Arctic Circle is a one-time-only showpiece and will not be put into production.

The first purely electrically powered series-production model in the 60-year history of MINI made its way to its debut using its own virtually noiseless, locally emissions-free power. With project manager Elena Eder at the wheel, the new MINI Cooper SE proved on its premiere run that electric mobility in the unmistakeable style of the British premium brand doesn’t have to be limited to day-to-day urban traffic.
At the start, the standard navigation system of the new MINI Cooper SE indicated exactly 400 kilometres as the distance for the journey from the BMW Group headquarters at Petuelring in Munich to the main entrance of the exhibition grounds in Frankfurt. So it looked as if a single stopover to recharge the lithium-ion battery ought to be sufficient to ensure that the journey to the trade fair debut was locally emissions-free. After all, the model-specific high-voltage battery with its gross energy content of 32.6 kWh, positioned deep in the vehicle floor, enables a range of 235 to 270 kilometres. And the ideal place to refresh the car’s energy reserves was suggested on the on-board monitor in the central instrument: a fast charging station on the A3 motorway.
“Urban mobility is certainly the greatest strength of the MINI Cooper SE. But that doesn't mean that electric driving fun is only suitable for short distances,” says project manager Eder. “The MINI Cooper SE can easily cope with lengthier journeys thanks to the option of using DC fast charging stations with a charging capacity of up to 50 kilowatts. A lunch break is all it takes to recharge.”
When the car was charged on the way to the IAA, there wasn’t even time for dessert. Within just 35 minutes, the high-voltage battery – which had previously been almost fully depleted – was charged to 80 percent of its total capacity. This meant that there was more than enough power on board to tackle the second stage of the trip without any worries. In order to maximise efficiency, use wasn’t made of the car’s maximum speed of 150 km/h. Nonetheless, the 135 kW/184 hp electric motor of the new MINI Cooper SE was able to demonstrate its spontaneous power delivery on one or two courageous overtaking manoeuvres.
Finally, the MINI Cooper SE rolled into Hall 11 of the Frankfurt exhibition centre with sufficient residual range: . Meanwhile, the standard charging cable provides fresh energy for further excursions from a conventional socket. Alternatively, MINI ELECTRIC offers flexible options for charging the high-voltage battery. The charging connection of the new MINI Cooper SE is designed for both AC and DC charging using Type 2 and CCS Combo 2 plugs. The battery can be charged either at a MINI ELECTRIC WALLBOX or at a public charging station with a maximum output of 11 kW within two and a half hours to 80 percent; a 100 percent charge takes three and a half hours.
The MINI Cooper SE will be produced at the British MINI plant in Oxford as , after which the brand's first electrically powered vehicle will be delivered worldwide. In Germany, the new MINI Cooper SE will be available at prices starting at EUR 32,500 (incl. 19% VAT).

Wheels and tyres are 22in as standard (in a choice of Sport and Ribbon designs), with an optional 23in alloy wheel offered in a choice of textured black or satin black with diamond turned highlights. The new 100% electric sedan from JAC is therefore 6 cm larger and 1 cm wider. The E-J7 engine is 6 hp more powerful, gives the competitor a bath in maximum torque, with 4.1 kgfm more, and still has the advantage of emitting zero pollutants. Your price? R$ 34 thousand cheaper!!
Like all electric motors, the advantage of the E-J7 is to provide a flat torque. There is no curve. There is no ideal rotation. None of that. You start the car... and the 34.7 kgfm is there, fully available. More than the obvious advantages in handling, such as greater courage to face steep climbs, even with a loaded car, and to perform safer overtaking, another trait inherited from this electric motor appears in the suggestion of sportiness.
He's very, very fast on sprints. From 0 to 100 km/h: it performs this acceleration in just 5.9 seconds, about 1.1 seconds faster than its BMW competitor. The maximum speed, which is electronically limited in order to preserve battery charge, is 150 km/h.
In theory, every sedan already has an appreciable dynamic behavior compared to SUVs, due to the lower center of gravity. In the case of the 100% electric large sedan from JAC Motors, this virtue becomes substantive for two more aspects: the distribution of the batteries on the floor helps to “pull” the model's center of gravity even further down.
And it's economical! Cost per km driven is R$ 7.75 / 100 km
Able to run 402 km with a full charge, which gives, on average, a consumption of 12.5 kWh per 100 km, the E-J7 sedan is one of the most efficient and economical electric models in the Brazilian market. The ECO driving mode stands out, in which the driver increases the regeneration capacity during deceleration and braking and starts to recover valuable energy for the battery.
To fully recharge it, considering the current average cost of tariffs of L 0.62 per kWh (data from Aneel), the owner of the model will pay L 7.75 per 100 km (equivalent to 1.2 liter of gasoline per 100 km!!). In total, the owner of the JAC E-J7 will spend just over R$30 for each full recharge.

The new C-Class can now be ordered in all Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the country, with the first units being delivered in January and public prices BRL 349,900 for the C 200 AMG Line and BRL 399,900 for the C 300 AMG Line
Combining aggressive exterior design and high-tech interior, the
sixth generation of the new C-Class is an invitation to a more digital and
interactive. Offered in two electrified versions, the model arrives in the country setting new standards and creating a comfort zone prepared for the future in a time of global transformation.
When viewed from the side, surfaces create unique light effects. On the other hand, the designers have reduced the lines to a minimum, which further accentuates the lateral design. Other features that produce a sporty and superior appearance include 18-inch and 19-inch wheels in modern designs that also have aerodynamic assist functions.
For Brazil, all models will receive the AMG Line finish, with
a central star, having the diamond grid with star design in
chrome. The new taillights have a two-part design for the first time, with the light functions split between the side and the trunk lid.
Three new exterior paint options - Spectral Blue, High Tech Silver
and brilliant white - have been added to the range of nine available colors.
The C 300 AMG Line model also offers three special “designo” colors at no additional cost: metallic hyacinth red, glossy opalite white, magno selenite gray (matte).
With a length of 4,751 mm and a width of 1,820 mm, the new
C-Class versions are larger than their predecessors. The wheelbase has increased by 25mm, now at 2,865mm.
The good drag coefficient of the previous models (Cd 0.24) was
preserved, despite the larger exterior dimensions.
The panel is divided into two sections: a wing-shaped upper section
with new round but flat air vents reminiscent of parts of an aircraft engine, integrated into a large area of the finish
interior, flowing from the center console to the dashboard without interruption. And in the lower section the dashboard and central display are angled slightly six degrees towards the driver, enhancing driver focus and sportsmanship.
The driver area features a 12.3" high resolution LCD screen
inches independent and appears to float. This differentiates the display from the
driver from traditional cockpits with traditional dials.
All car functions can be controlled using the screen
touch sensitive. Its vertical orientation is particularly advantageous for navigation. Like the dashboard, the screen is angled slightly towards the conductor. The central display has a screen diagonal of 11.9 inches.
The special design of the new C-Class's sport seats uses layers and enveloping surfaces to create a visual impression of lightness. The headrests have a completely new design and are fixed to the backrest with a sealed gasket under which the adjustment mechanism is located. An ARTICO covered panel is available as standard equipment for both versions that will be marketed in Brazil.
