Why is having a spiritual life important to your overall health? - It will ease the stress in your life when you believe in the God who created the Universe. Less stress equals stronger immune system. - Is a way to receive guidance, wisdom, and answers to life’s difficult situations. Less stress equals stronger immune system. - It gives you the ability to live in a form of “rest” where you are guided by the peace of God in all of life’s issues. Peace equals no stress. We live in a Nation with supposedly the best healthcare, yet the people of this Nation are getting sicker and sicker. Cancer centers are being opened more and more around us. When coaching clients on their food intake, I encourage eating good, whole, “real” food 85-90% of the time. So many of us walk in an “untruth” of who we are. We have let people, careers, and situations put a label on us that we carry throughout our life. Trauma or no trauma most people have a void in their heart like something is missing. We go through life trying to fill that empty void to no avail. We think a new job or career, or that much desired promotion will fill it only to find you are still empty even though that promotion was given. Or we search for that knight and shining prince to sweep us off our feet to find that we are lonelier now than before we connected to our supposed “prince.” We search in all the wrong places to have that void or that pain taken away but there truly is only one way in my experience.
