Bananas Foster on the Grill -- A Tasty How To Video

Warning - Use caution when lighting the Rum for a flambe'
Bananas Foster Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup banana liqueur
4 bananas, cut in half lengthwise, then halved
1 Tbsp Tango Spice Company's Southwest Sunset (optional)
1/4 cup dark rum (151 proof really makes a good show)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1) Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
2) Brush some of the melted butter onto the flat side of the bananas.
3) Spinkle Tango Spice onto quartered bananas and set aside.
4) Add Dark Brown Sugar to the melted butter in the skillet.
5) Heat skillet and cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
6) Stir in the banana liqueur when the sugar/butter mixture smells like caramel.
7) Grill the bananas flat side down for 1 minute.
8) Add the grilled bananas to the caramel mixture.
9) Add the dark rum.
10) Continue to cook the sauce until the rum is warm(5-10 secs), then tip the pan slightly to ignite the rum or use a lighter.
11) While flame is burning, sprinkle on the cinnamon.
12) When the flames subside, lift the bananas out of the pan and place four pieces over each portion of ice cream.
13) Generously spoon warm caramel sauce over the top of the ice cream and serve immediately. Enjoy!!!!

How To Boil Crawfish - Cajun Style
In this video we show you how to properly boil crawfish, shrimp, and crab as it is done in Louisiana. If you like spicy crawfish and seafood, check out this how-to video! I also throw in some potatoes, corn, garlic, and other fixin's!!
Ingredients for 15 pounds of seafood
(1st Dump) Spices:
24-32 oz Shrimp/Crab boil spice blend (more is spicy)
8 oz bottle Shrimp/Crab boil concentrate
12 oz bottle Louisiana Hot Sauce
Mesh bag of Zatarain's Crab boil
2 oz Cayenne Pepper
1 Stick Butter
16 oz Salt or to taste
(2nd Dump) Vegetables and Lemons:
You can use whichever vegetables you like and however much of it you like. I used the following:
3 Garlic Bulbs (top sliced off)
2 Onions (whole or quartered)
3 Cobs of Corn (halved)
4 Lemons (halved)
2 Artichokes (top sliced off)
3-5 pounds New Potatoes
optional: Mushrooms, Cauliflower, Brocolli, etc.
(3rd Dump) Seafood:
Crawfish, Crab, Shrimp, Scallops, etc.
Cooking process:
Fill 40 or 60 quart pot 2/3 of the way up with water and bring water to a boil.
Add 1st dump of spices while water is coming to a boil. Stir water to dissolve spices.
After water is boiling, continue to boil for 10 minutes to make sure all of the spices are thoroughly mixed and water is seasoned properly. If you taste it at this point, it should be pretty salty like ocean water with a kick!
Add 2nd dump of vegetables and lemons to the boiling water. Continue to boil 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are almost fork tender, but not falling apart.
NOTE: If using mushrooms or cauliflower/broccoli, hold off putting them in until you add the seafood.
Add 3rd dump (seafood) and bring water back to a boil. Boil for 3-4 minutes, then shut off the fire.
Soak seafood for 15-20 minutes and taste for spiciness. If needed, let continue to soak checking for spiciness every 10 mins until done to your liking.
Drain seafood and pour out onto a table or individual platters. Enjoy!!!

Authentic Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas
Recipe is below!!! I show how to make authentic Fish & Chips with Mushy Peas just like you would find in England. The beer batter uses New Castle Brown Ale and yeast making it a very light, yet crunchy, batter on the Cod. We also make homemade Chips using Russet potatoes. The Mushy Peas are made with Marrowfat peas I imported from England.

**Beer Batter Recipe**
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
12 oz dark beer
3/4 Cup Water
2 tsp Active Dry Yeast (1 packet)
1 tsp Salt
Mix all ingredients and set aside in a warm place 1 or 2 hours or until yeast starts blooming.
**For the fish, you can use Cod or Halibut**
Coat fish with plain flour seasoned with salt/pepper. Dip fish into beer batter and remove excess batter. Place into fryer with oil at 375F and fry fish for 3-4 mins or until fish are floating. You may need to turn fish over half way thru the frying if they don't flip on their own so you get even coloring and cooking.
**Mushy Peas Recipe by Sam Tranter**
2 Cups Dried Marrowfat Peas
2 Tbsp Bicarbonate of Soda (Baking Soda)
Water to cover peas
Throw peas into a bowl or pan to soak over night with some just boiled water and two table spoons of bicarbonate of soda. After the night soaking, drain the water off with the bi-carb in, cover with fresh water and in a pan, bring to the boil. Once boiling, bring back down to a simmer and leave them, half hour or so to cook soft and reduce and as time goes you'll get that thick puree like sauce.
**Chips Recipe**
2 large Russet Potatoes Sliced 1/4 inch thick by 1 inch wide
Oil for frying

How To Lose 15 pounds in 7 days with Peel-a-Pound Soup
Are you wanting to lose weight quickly without exercise? This Peel-a-Pound Soup burns more calories digesting it than your body intakes, so you lose weight quickly, plus it's healthy and tastes fantastic!!! The diet is listed in the description box. Please note, I am not a doctor or nutritionist. Use this diet at your own risk!
The full 7 Day Diet is listed below the soup recipe.
Recipe for Peel-a-Pound Soup
1 large can of Stewed or Whole Tomatoes
1 Envelope of Onion Soup Mix (optional)
4 Cups of Water
6-7 Beef Bullion cubes (I now use Better than Bouillon)
1 Head of Cabbage
1/2 Stalk Celery
2 Bell Peppers
2 Onions
5 Garlic toes
Into a large dutch oven or stock pot, add 1 large can of stewed or whole tomatoes.
Add 1 packet of Onion Soup mix.
Add 3-4 Cups water along with 6-7 Beef Bouillon cubes and mix well, then heat mixture over med-high heat until boiling.
While mixture is coming up to a boil, cut up your vegetables and add them to the pot.
Once soup is boiling, turn heat down to med-low for a slow rolling boil and cook with lid on until vegetables are tender (30-90 mins).
7 Day Diet provided by the Heart Hospital of Baton Rouge, LA.
1st Day:
Eat as much of the listed fruits as you want at each meal, plus as much of the soup as you want.
Apples, Oranges, Tangerines, Satsumas, Cantaloupes, Watermelons, Pears, Plums, Peaches, Papayas, and Pumpkin.
2nd Day:
Eat as much of the listed vegetables as you want, plus soup, plus a baked potato.
Asparagus, Bean Sprouts, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, collards, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Green Beans, Mushrooms, Okra, Peppers, Radishes, Spinach, Tomatoes, and Zucchini.
3rd Day:
Eat as much of the vegetables AND fruit as you want, plus the soup.
4th Day:
Throughout the day, eat 8 bananas and drink 8 glasses of skimmed milk, plus the soup. Feel free to cut up some of the bananas, place into a blender with some sugar substitute and some of the milk to make a nice shake.
5th Day:
Eat as many tomatoes as you want, 1 1/2 pounds of meat (beef, pork, chicken, or fish) plus the soup.
6th Day:
Eat as much of the vegetables as you want, 1 1/2 pounds of meat, plus the soup.
7th Day:
Cook 1 1/3 pounds of Brown rice and eat 1/3 of the rice at each meal along with any of the vegetables, plus the soup.
Note:
You can have any amount of coffee or tea without sugar or cream. If you want to use a local dressing on the vegetables, you may do so. You can also have Parmesan cheese with your vegetables to help with the flavor.
The more of the soup that you eat the better it is for you because, it is said, the soup takes more calories to burn up food value from it than it has calories itself.

Autumn Soup Recipe - Quick Easy Homemade Soup
This is Karen's Autumn Soup recipe. It is a soup you can make in less than 1 hour and it tastes delicious!! We make this soup often and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Autumn Soup
1 pound lean ground beef
3 ribs Celery (chopped)
1/2 pound Carrots (chopped)
1/2 large Onion (chopped)
1 tsp Kitchen Bouquet
1 tsp Garlic Powder
14.5 oz Can Whole Peeled Tomatoes with juice
1 Bay Leaf
4 leaves Fresh Basil (fine chop) or 1 tsp dried Basil
4-5 peeled Red Potatoes
3-4 Cups Water
Salt & Pepper to taste
Brown ground beef, then add celery, carrot, and onion and cook until onion is tender.
Add water and rest of the ingredients. Bring soup to a boil, then cover and simmer until potatoes are done.
