Introduction
Are you looking for a new way to relieve pain, improve your skin, or boost your energy levels? Look no further than cryotherapy. This trendy therapy involves exposing your body to extremely cold temperatures for a short period, typically a few minutes. It has gained popularity among athletes, celebrities, and health enthusiasts for its claimed benefits in pain relief, beauty, and overall wellness.
I would describe my first experience as unbelievably difficult, within the first 20 seconds I felt instant regret. The temps were well below arctic temperatures. Doing three and a half minutes was tough but I got through it. Here is more info on the local spot I found near my shop.

But what is cryo therapy, exactly? How does it work, and is it safe? In this article, we will explore the science behind cryotherapy, its various applications, and what to expect during a session.
What is Cryo Therapy?
At its core, cryo therapy is a form of cold therapy that involves exposing the body to sub-zero temperatures. This can be achieved through various methods, including:
Whole-body cryo therapy (WBC): This involves standing in a cryotherapy chamber for 2-4 minutes, with temperatures ranging from -110°C to -140°C.
Partial-body cryo therapy: This targets specific areas of the body, such as the neck, shoulders, or legs.
Local cryo therapy: This involves applying a cold pack or probe directly to the affected area, such as the knees or back.
During a cryo therapy session, the body undergoes a process called vasoconstriction, in which blood vessels narrow and blood flow is redirected to vital organs. Once the session ends, blood vessels dilate, and blood rushes back to the extremities, providing a surge of oxygen and nutrients to the body.
The Benefits of Cryotherapy
Cryo therapy is known for its various benefits, including:
1. Pain Relief
Cryotherapy is often used to relieve muscle and joint pain, inflammation, and soreness. It has been shown to reduce pain and improve function in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia.
2. Beauty and Skin Health
Cryotherapy is believed to improve the appearance and health of the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and cellulite. It also stimulates collagen production, leading to firmer and more youthful-looking skin.
3. Improved Athletic Performance
Athletes use cryotherapy to speed up recovery after workouts, reduce muscle fatigue, and increase energy levels. It has also been shown to improve circulation, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the muscles.
4. Weight Loss
Cryotherapy may help boost metabolism and promote weight loss. It does this by activating brown fat, a type of fat that burns calories to produce heat.
5. Mental Health and Wellness
Cryo therapy is said to improve mood, reduce anxiety and depression symptoms, and increase overall well-being. It may also help improve sleep quality and reduce fatigue.

The Benefits of Smart Drugs
Before diving into the specific smart drugs, it's important to understand the benefits they offer. Smart drugs are not a magic pill that will turn you into a genius overnight. However, they can help improve your focus, memory, creativity, and overall cognitive function. They work by increasing blood flow to the brain, reducing inflammation, and boosting neurotransmitter production. This can lead to better communication between brain cells, resulting in improved brain function.
Phenibut: The Anti-Anxiety Smart Drug
Phenibut is a nootropic that is widely used for its anti-anxiety properties. It was developed in Russia in the 1960s and is still popular today due to its effectiveness. Phenibut works by increasing the production of GABA, a neurotransmitter that helps calm the brain. This can lead to reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and an overall sense of calm.
Alpha GPC: The Memory-Boosting Smart Drug
Alpha GPC is a choline compound that is essential for brain health. It helps to improve memory, focus, and overall cognitive function. Guayusa extract is a natural smart drug that is derived from the leaves of the Ilex guayusa plant. It is known for its ability to provide a natural energy boost without the negative side effects of caffeine. Guayusa extract works by increasing blood flow to the brain, which can lead to improved focus and cognitive function. It also contains antioxidants, which can help reduce inflammation in the brain.

Introduction
Testosterone is an important hormone for males, responsible for developing their reproductive system, building muscle mass, and maintaining bone density. It also affects mood and cognitive function. However, it's not uncommon for young males to experience low testosterone levels. This condition can cause a range of symptoms, from decreased sex drive to fatigue and depression. If you're a young male experiencing these symptoms, it's essential to understand what causes low testosterone in young males and how you can address the issue.
What Causes Low Testosterone in Young Males?
There are several possible factors that can contribute to low testosterone levels in young males. Here are some of the most common:
1. Obesity
Obesity is a major risk factor for low testosterone levels in young males. Excess body fat can interfere with hormone production, leading to decreased testosterone levels. In addition, obesity is often associated with insulin resistance, which can further impact testosterone production.
2. Chronic Stress
Chronic stress can also contribute to low testosterone levels in young males. When you're under stress, your body produces cortisol, a hormone that can interfere with testosterone production. Chronic stress can also lead to fatigue and burnout, which can further impact your hormone levels.
3. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep is essential for hormone production, and inadequate sleep can lead to decreased testosterone levels. Studies have shown that young males who don't get enough sleep may experience a decline in testosterone levels.
4. Medications
Certain medications can also contribute to low testosterone levels in young males. For example, opioid pain medications can interfere with hormone production, as can some antidepressants and antipsychotics.
5. Medical Conditions
Certain medical conditions can also lead to low testosterone levels in young males. These include:
Hypogonadism: A condition in which the testes don't produce enough testosterone
Pituitary gland disorders: The pituitary gland produces hormones that regulate testosterone production, and disorders of this gland can impact hormone levels
Diabetes: Diabetes can interfere with hormone production and lead to low testosterone levels
HIV/AIDS: The virus that causes AIDS can impact hormone production and lead to decreased testosterone levels
Conclusion
Low testosterone levels can be frustrating and impact your quality of life. However, by understanding what causes low testosterone in young males, you can take steps to address the issue. If you're experiencing symptoms of low testosterone, talk to your doctor about getting tested and exploring treatment options. By taking care of your health and making lifestyle changes, you can improve your hormone levels and feel better both physically and emotionally.

FAQs
What is Kratom?
Kratom, also known as Mitragyna Speciosa, is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family. Its leaves contain active compounds that have psychotropic effects, such as mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine. These compounds interact with the brain's receptors to produce pain relief, relaxation, and stimulation.
Kratom in the United States
Kratom is legal at the federal level in the United States, but it is regulated by individual states. Some states have banned kratom, while others have enacted regulations on its sale and possession. The legality of kratom in Montana has been a topic of debate for several years.
Kratom Ban Montana
In 2021, Montana implemented a ban on the sale, possession, and use of kratom. The state classified kratom as a Schedule I substance, which means it has no accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Violation of the ban is a misdemeanor offense that carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $500.
History of Kratom Ban Montana
Montana's ban on kratom came after several failed attempts to regulate the herb. In 2019, a bill was introduced in the state legislature that would have regulated kratom as a dietary supplement. The bill did not pass, and in 2021, a new bill was introduced that sought to ban kratom altogether. The bill passed both the House and the Senate and was signed into law by Governor Greg Gianforte in May 2021.
Reasons for the Kratom Ban Montana
The main reason for the kratom ban Montana is concern over the safety of the herb. Kratom has been linked to several adverse effects, including seizures, liver damage, and addiction. The FDA has also issued warnings about kratom, stating that it has no approved medical use and can be dangerous.
Implications of the Kratom Ban Montana
The kratom ban in Montana has several implications for users and businesses. It means that kratom cannot be sold or possessed in the state, and those who violate the ban can face criminal charges. It also means that businesses that sell kratom products will no longer be able to operate in Montana, which can have an impact on the economy.
Legal Status of Kratom in Other States
Kratom is banned in several states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wisconsin. Some states, such as Florida and Georgia implemented the Kratom Consumer Protection Act.

Drug screening laws have undergone significant changes in California with the legalization of cannabis. While the use of cannabis is legal for both medicinal and recreational purposes, employers in California have been hesitant to relax their drug testing policies due to the complexity of the laws. In this article, we will explore the recent changes in drug screening laws in California cannabis and what they mean for employers and employees alike.
Introduction
The legalization of cannabis in California has brought about significant changes in drug screening laws, which can be confusing for employers and employees alike. With the increasing use of cannabis for both medical and recreational purposes, it is important to understand the new regulations that have been put in place. In this article, we will discuss the changes in California's drug screening laws related to cannabis and how it affects the workforce.
Background
Before the legalization of cannabis in California, employers could require employees to undergo drug screening tests for cannabis, even if they had a medical prescription for it. This was due to cannabis being classified as a Schedule I drug under federal law, which meant that it was illegal for any purpose. However, with the legalization of cannabis for medical and recreational use, the laws surrounding drug testing have become more complicated.
Changes in California's Drug Screening Laws
Under California's drug screening laws, employers can no longer use a positive test for cannabis as a basis for discipline or termination of employees who use it for medical purposes. However, this does not apply to employees who use cannabis for recreational purposes or who use it while on the job. Employers still have the right to prohibit employees from using or being under the influence of cannabis during work hours and can discipline or terminate employees who violate this policy.
Implications for Employers
With the changes in California's drug screening laws related to cannabis, employers must review and revise their drug testing policies to comply with the new regulations. Employers should consider the following factors when revising their drug testing policies:
Whether drug testing is necessary for safety-sensitive positions
The potential impact of testing positive for cannabis on an employee's employment
Whether drug testing policies comply with both state and federal laws
Employers should also make sure that their employees understand their drug testing policies and the consequences of violating them. This can be done through employee handbooks, training sessions, and regular reminders.
Implications for Employees
Employees who use cannabis for medical purposes now have legal protection from disciplinary action or termination by their employers. However, this protection only applies if the employee can prove that they have a valid prescription for medical cannabis. Employees who use cannabis for recreational purposes or who use it while on the job are not protected by these new laws and can still be disciplined or terminated by their employers.
Conclusion
The changes in drug screening laws related to cannabis in California have brought about significant changes for both employers and employees. Employers must revise their drug testing policies to comply with the new regulations while employees must understand their rights and responsibilities related to the use of cannabis in the workplace. It is important for employers and employees to work together to ensure that everyone is aware of the new laws and how they affect the workplace.

Are you having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep? Do you find yourself waking up several times throughout the night and feeling tired during the day? If so, you may be experiencing insomnia. Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. In this article, we will explore the causes, symptoms, and treatments for insomnia.
What is Insomnia?
Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling or staying asleep. It can be short-term (acute) or long-term (chronic). Acute insomnia is typically caused by stress, anxiety, or other temporary factors, and lasts for a few days or weeks. Chronic insomnia, on the other hand, is a more serious condition that lasts for at least three months.
Sleep is essential for our overall health and well-being. However, according to the National Sleep Foundation, nearly 70 million Americans suffer from sleep disorders. Lack of sleep can cause mood swings, decreased productivity, and even chronic health issues like high blood pressure and heart disease. In this article, we will provide you with 15 tips on how to sleep better and achieve a restful night.
1. Establish a Sleep Schedule
Creating a regular sleep schedule can help your body adjust to a routine, making it easier to fall asleep and wake up. Aim for at least seven hours of sleep per night, and try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends.
2. Avoid Stimulants
Avoiding caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol before bedtime can help you sleep better. These substances can disrupt your sleep patterns, making it harder to fall asleep and stay asleep.
3. Create a Relaxing Environment
Your bedroom should be a peaceful and relaxing environment. Keep the room cool, dark, and quiet, and remove any distractions that could keep you up at night. Invest in comfortable bedding and pillows to ensure maximum comfort.
4. Wind Down Before Bedtime
Develop a relaxing bedtime routine to help your body and mind prepare for sleep. This could include taking a warm bath, reading a book, or practicing meditation or deep breathing exercises.
5. Limit Screen Time
The blue light emitted from electronic devices like smartphones and laptops can interfere with your body's natural sleep rhythms. Try to limit screen time before bed, and avoid using electronic devices in the bedroom.
6. Exercise Regularly
Regular exercise can help improve sleep quality and reduce symptoms of insomnia. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per day, but avoid exercising too close to bedtime as it can stimulate your body and make it harder to fall asleep.
7. Watch Your Diet
Eating a balanced diet can help improve sleep quality. Avoid heavy, spicy, or sugary foods before bedtime, and aim to eat a light snack if you're hungry.
8. Manage Stress
Stress and anxiety can keep you up at night. Try to manage your stress levels by practicing relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises.
9. Get Comfortable
Ensure your sleep environment is comfortable and supportive. Invest in a good quality mattress, pillows, and bedding to improve your sleep quality.
10. Try Aromatherapy
Certain scents like lavender and chamomile are known for their calming properties and can help you relax and fall asleep. Consider using essential oils or aromatherapy products in your bedroom.
11. Use White Noise
White noise machines can help mask any background noise that could disrupt your sleep. Alternatively, try using a fan or earplugs to create a more peaceful sleeping environment.
12. Avoid Daytime Napping
Napping during the day can disrupt your sleep patterns, making it harder to fall asleep at night. If you must nap, keep it short (less than 30 minutes) and avoid napping too close to bedtime.
13. Seek Medical Help
If you've tried all the above tips and still struggle with sleep, consider seeking medical help. Your doctor may recommend sleep aids or suggest further tests to diagnose any underlying sleep disorders.

Introduction:
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in magic mushrooms. While it has been used for centuries in spiritual and cultural contexts, psilocybin is now gaining attention for its potential benefits in the field of mental health. Recent research has shown promising results in the use of psilocybin-assisted therapy for the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.
This article will explore the potential of Psilocybin and it's benefits and risks of using magic mushrooms for mental health, how it works, and its legal status.
What is Psilocybin and How Does it Work?
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring substance found in over 200 species of mushrooms, commonly referred to as "magic mushrooms." When ingested, psilocybin is converted into psilocin, which activates serotonin receptors in the brain.
Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that plays a key role in regulating mood, cognition, and behavior. Psilocybin's effects on serotonin levels can lead to altered perceptions, feelings of euphoria, and a sense of interconnectedness with the world around us.
Benefits and Potential of Psilocybin for Mental Health
Treatment of Depression: Psilocybin has shown promising results in treating depression, a mood disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. Studies have found that a single dose of psilocybin can lead to significant reductions in symptoms of depression and anxiety, with effects lasting up to six months or longer.
Anxiety Relief: Psilocybin has been found to reduce symptoms of anxiety in people with cancer, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and social anxiety disorder. Studies have shown that psilocybin-assisted therapy can lead to increased feelings of well-being and improved quality of life.
PTSD Treatment: Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a debilitating condition that affects many individuals who have experienced traumatic events. Studies have found that psilocybin-assisted therapy can lead to significant reductions in PTSD symptoms, including flashbacks, nightmares, and avoidance behaviors.
Risks and Side Effects of Psilocybin Use
Bad Trips: Psilocybin can cause intense, emotional experiences that can be overwhelming for some individuals. A "bad trip" can result in feelings of anxiety, paranoia, and even panic. It's important to note that the likelihood of a bad trip is higher when psilocybin is used in an uncontrolled environment, without proper supervision.
Psychosis: While rare, psilocybin use can trigger psychosis in individuals who are already at risk for the condition. Psychosis is a severe mental disorder characterized by a loss of touch with reality, delusions, and hallucinations.
Legal Status: Psilocybin is classified as a Schedule I drug in the United States, meaning it is illegal to possess, use, or distribute. While psilocybin has been decriminalized in some cities and states, it is still illegal at the federal level.
I personally have used psilocybin to treat depression including other mental related issues for many years. I speak from a great deal of experience when I say that there is substantial potential from this one substance to aid all of humanity, to thrust us into the next chapter of human evolution. The potential of Psilocybin is truly immeasurable and it will likely reveal those facts in due time through more human trials and studies.
Important Disclaimer: I am not encouraging or suggesting anyone use psilocybin, do your own research.

Cancer is a devastating disease that affects millions of people worldwide. Despite the progress made in cancer treatment, more effective therapies are still needed. One promising area of research is the use of CBD, a non-psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant. In this article, we will discuss the role of CBD in cancer treatment and how it can benefit patients. We will also explore the potential risks and side effects of CBD and how to determine the appropriate dosage.
What is CBD? CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant. Unlike THC, another well-known compound found in cannabis, CBD does not produce a psychoactive effect. CBD has been shown to have a range of potential therapeutic benefits, including reducing pain and anxiety, improving sleep, and reducing inflammation.
Cancer and its prevalence Cancer is a life-threatening disease characterized by the uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells in the body. It can affect any part of the body and has a significant impact on patients' quality of life. According to the World Health Organization, cancer is the second leading cause of death globally, with an estimated 10 million deaths in 2020 alone.
Current cancer treatments Current cancer treatments include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. While these treatments have improved over the years, they can still cause significant side effects and may not be effective for all patients. There is a need for new and innovative cancer treatments that can improve patient outcomes and reduce side effects.
How Does CBD Work? CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system, a complex network of receptors and neurotransmitters found throughout the body. The endocannabinoid system is involved in a range of physiological processes, including pain, mood, appetite, and immune function. CBD has been shown to have a range of potential therapeutic benefits, including reducing inflammation, pain, and anxiety.
The potential benefits of CBD for cancer patients CBD has been shown to have a range of potential benefits for cancer patients, including:
Pain relief: Cancer patients often experience pain, which can be difficult to manage with traditional pain medications. CBD has been shown to have pain-relieving properties and may be useful for managing cancer-related pain.
Reduced anxiety: Cancer patients may experience anxiety and depression due to their diagnosis and treatment. CBD has been shown to have anxiolytic properties and may be useful for reducing anxiety in cancer patients.
Nausea and vomiting: Chemotherapy and radiation therapy can cause nausea and vomiting, which can be difficult to manage with traditional anti-nausea medications. CBD has been shown to have antiemetic properties and may be useful for managing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.
Improved sleep: Cancer patients often experience sleep disturbances, which can have a significant impact on their quality of life. CBD has been shown to have sleep-promoting properties and may be useful for improving sleep in cancer patients.
CBD and Cancer Treatment CBD may be used in conjunction with other cancer treatments to improve patient outcomes and reduce side effects. Studies have shown that CBD may have anticancer properties and may be useful for inhibiting the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Research on CBD and its effects on cancer cells Studies have shown that CBD may have anticancer properties and may be useful for inhibiting the growth and spread of cancer cells. CBD has been shown to induce apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in cancer cells, and may also prevent the formation of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow.
CBD and Chemotherapy Chemotherapy is a cancer treatment that uses drugs to kill cancer cells. While chemotherapy can be effective, it can also cause significant side effects, including nausea, vomiting, and fatigue.

Addiction is a complex issue that affects millions of people worldwide. While there are various approaches to treating addiction, the use of CBD has gained attention in recent years as a potential aid in recovery. CBD, or cannabidiol, is a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis plants that has been shown to have numerous health benefits. In this article, we'll explore the potential benefits of using CBD for addiction recovery.
Understanding Addiction
Before we dive into the potential benefits of CBD for addiction recovery, it's important to understand what addiction is and how it affects the body. Addiction is a chronic, relapsing disorder characterized by compulsive drug-seeking and drug use despite negative consequences. Addiction affects the brain's reward system, which is responsible for producing feelings of pleasure and motivation. Over time, drug use can change the brain's chemistry, making it difficult to stop using drugs without professional help.
How CBD Works
CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system, a complex network of receptors and neurotransmitters that help regulate various bodily functions, including mood, sleep, appetite, and pain. CBD works by binding to receptors in the endocannabinoid system, which can help regulate these functions and promote overall balance in the body.
Potential Benefits of CBD for Addiction Recovery
While more research is needed, there is growing evidence that CBD may be helpful in addiction recovery. Here are some potential benefits of using CBD for addiction recovery:
1. Reduce Cravings
One of the most challenging aspects of addiction recovery is managing cravings. Cravings can be intense and difficult to resist, often leading to relapse. CBD has been shown to reduce cravings for drugs and other addictive substances by modulating the brain's reward system.
2. Manage Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety and depression are common in addiction recovery and can make it difficult to stay sober. CBD has been shown to have anxiolytic and antidepressant properties, which may help manage these symptoms and improve overall mental health.
3. Reduce Withdrawal Symptoms
Withdrawal symptoms can be severe and uncomfortable, making it difficult to quit using drugs. CBD has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, which may help reduce withdrawal symptoms and improve overall comfort during the detoxification process.
4. Improve Sleep Quality
Sleep disturbances are common in addiction recovery and can make it difficult to stay sober. CBD has been shown to improve sleep quality by reducing anxiety and promoting relaxation, which may help improve overall mental and physical health.
5. Promote Overall Wellness
CBD has numerous health benefits, including reducing inflammation, promoting relaxation, and improving overall well-being. By promoting overall wellness, CBD may help support addiction recovery by reducing stress and improving physical and mental health.
How to Use CBD for Addiction Recovery
If you're considering using CBD for addiction recovery, it's important to talk to your healthcare provider first. CBD can interact with certain medications and may not be safe for everyone. Your healthcare provider can help you determine if CBD is right for you and provide guidance on dosage and usage.
CBD can be taken in various forms, including oil tinctures, capsules, gummies, and topical creams. The best form of CBD for addiction recovery may vary depending on individual needs and preferences.
Conclusion
Addiction is a complex issue that requires professional help, a serious commitment and a strong mental/emotional discipline to overcome. While CBD may offer some potential benefits for addiction recovery, it's important to remember that it is not a substitute for professional treatment. If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, seek professional help to develop a comprehensive treatment plan.

As the world continues to become increasingly fast-paced, anxiety has become a common problem affecting many people. It can be debilitating and can impact every aspect of an individual's life. While there are many pharmaceutical drugs available to help manage anxiety, these often come with a long list of side effects. Therefore, many people have started to turn towards herbal supplements to manage their anxiety. Among the best herbal supplements for anxiety are CBD, Ashwagandha, and Akuamma.
CBD for Anxiety
Cannabidiol, commonly known as CBD, is a compound found in the cannabis plant. Unlike THC, another compound found in cannabis, CBD is not psychoactive, meaning it does not cause the feeling of being "high." Research has shown that CBD can help manage anxiety by interacting with the body's endocannabinoid system, which regulates mood, sleep, and other bodily functions.
CBD can be consumed in various forms, including oil, capsules, gummies, and even topicals. Many people prefer CBD oil as it is easy to dose and can be consumed sublingually or added to food and drinks.
Ashwagandha for Anxiety
Ashwagandha is an herb used in traditional Indian medicine for centuries. It is known for its adaptogenic properties, which help the body manage stress. Research has shown that Ashwagandha can help reduce anxiety symptoms by reducing cortisol levels in the body, a hormone that is released during times of stress.
Ashwagandha is available in various forms, including capsules, powder, and tea. It is generally safe to consume, but it is essential to follow the recommended dosage as high doses can cause stomach upset.
Akuamma for Anxiety
Akuamma is a plant native to West Africa that has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. The seeds of the Akuamma plant contain alkaloids that have been shown to have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, these alkaloids have been found to have anxiolytic properties, making Akuamma an excellent herbal supplement for anxiety.
Akuamma is available in various forms, including capsules and powder. It is important to follow the recommended dosage as high doses can cause nausea and vomiting.
FAQs
Q: Are herbal supplements safe for managing anxiety?
A: Yes, herbal supplements are generally safe for managing anxiety. However, it is essential to follow the recommended dosage and consult a healthcare provider before starting any herbal supplement regimen.
Q: Can I take multiple herbal supplements for anxiety at once?
A: While it is generally safe to take multiple herbal supplements for anxiety, it is essential to consult a healthcare provider before doing so. Some herbal supplements may interact with each other or with prescription medication, leading to adverse effects.
Q: How long does it take for herbal supplements to start working for anxiety?

Conclusion
Anxiety can be a debilitating condition that impacts every aspect of an individual's life. While there are many pharmaceutical drugs available to manage anxiety, they often come with a long list of side effects. Herbal supplements, such as CBD, Ashwagandha, and Akuamma, offer a natural and safe alternative for managing anxiety. Benefits Of Functional Medicine Introduction
Functional medicine is an approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of a patient’s health problems, rather than just treating the symptoms. This holistic approach takes into account a patient’s physical, emotional, and mental health, as well as their lifestyle, environment, and genetics. Functional medicine practitioners believe that every individual is unique and therefore requires a personalized treatment plan.
The functional medicine approach to healthcare involves a thorough evaluation of a patient’s medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors. This evaluation includes a comprehensive physical examination, laboratory testing, and other diagnostic tools. Functional medicine practitioners also take into account a patient’s social and environmental factors, such as stress levels, sleep patterns, and exposure to toxins.
Once the evaluation is complete, the functional medicine practitioner creates a personalized treatment plan that addresses the underlying cause of the patient’s health problems. This treatment plan may include a combination of conventional medical treatments, such as medications or surgery, as well as alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, or herbal medicine.
One of the main advantages of functional medicine is its focus on preventative care. Instead of waiting for a patient to become sick, functional medicine practitioners aim to prevent chronic diseases by promoting a healthy lifestyle and addressing potential health issues early on. This approach emphasizes the importance of diet, exercise, stress reduction, and other lifestyle factors in promoting optimal health.
Functional medicine also takes an integrative approach to healthcare, combining conventional medical treatments with alternative therapies. This integrative approach allows patients to benefit from the best of both worlds and may lead to better outcomes. Functional medicine practitioners work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the most comprehensive and effective treatment possible.
While functional medicine has gained popularity in recent years, it also has its limitations. One of the main challenges is the lack of scientific evidence to support its effectiveness. While some studies have shown promising results, more research is needed to establish the efficacy of functional medicine.
Another challenge is the cost of functional medicine. The personalized treatment plans and integrative approach can lead to higher costs, which may be a barrier for some patients. Additionally, functional medicine appointments can be longer than conventional doctor appointments, which may make scheduling more difficult but there many benefits of functional medicine that make up for it.
Pros And Benefits of Functional Medicine
1. Preventative Care
Additional benefits of functional medicine is its focus on preventative care. Instead of waiting for a patient to become sick, functional medicine practitioners aim to prevent chronic diseases by promoting a healthy lifestyle and addressing potential health issues early on.
Cons of Functional Medicine
1. Expensive
Functional medicine can be expensive, especially if the patient’s insurance doesn’t cover it. The personalized treatment plans and integrative approach can lead to higher costs, which may be a barrier for some patients.

Sleep disorders can range from difficulty falling asleep to staying asleep or experiencing excessive sleepiness during the day. Understanding sleep disorders is essential for proper diagnosis and treatment.
In this guide, we will explore the various causes, types, and treatments of sleep disorders.
There are many potential causes of sleep disorders, including:
Lifestyle factors: poor sleep habits, an irregular sleep schedule, working night shifts, or excessive use of electronic devices before bed can all contribute to sleep disorders.
Medical conditions: sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, and other medical conditions can affect sleep quality.
Mental health disorders: anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders can cause sleep disturbances.
There are many different types of sleep disorders, including:
Insomnia: difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep.

Sleep is one of the most important aspects of maintaining good health and well-being. Yet, many people struggle with getting a good night's sleep due to stress, anxiety, or other factors. In this article, we will explore how nootropics can help you sleep better and the best ways to incorporate them into your sleep routine.
Understanding Nootropics and their Mechanisms of Action
Nootropics, also known as cognitive enhancers, are natural or synthetic substances that can improve cognitive function, including memory, creativity, and focus. Nootropics work by affecting various neurotransmitters, enzymes, and other chemicals in the brain that are involved in regulating cognitive processes. When it comes to sleep, this is how nootropics aid sleep and can help by:
• Reducing stress and anxiety levels • Promoting relaxation and calmness • Improving sleep quality and duration • Regulating the sleep-wake cycle
Types of Nootropics for Better Sleep
There are various types of nootropics that can help improve sleep quality. Some of the most popular ones include:
Magnesium: Magnesium is an essential mineral that plays a crucial role in regulating the nervous system and promoting relaxation. It can also help reduce stress and anxiety levels, which can interfere with sleep.
GABA: Gamma-Aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a neurotransmitter that inhibits certain brain activities, leading to relaxation and calmness. GABA supplements can help promote better sleep by reducing anxiety and inducing relaxation.
Melatonin: Melatonin is a hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle. It is produced naturally by the pineal gland in response to darkness and helps promote sleepiness. Melatonin supplements can help improve sleep quality and duration, especially in people with sleep disorders.
L-Theanine: L-Theanine is an amino acid that is commonly found in green tea. It can help promote relaxation and reduce stress levels, making it an effective nootropic for improving sleep quality.
How to Incorporate Nootropics into Your Sleep Routine
If you're interested in using nootropics to improve your sleep quality, here are some tips to help you get started:
Consult with a healthcare professional: Before starting any new supplement, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional to ensure it's safe and effective for you.

Nootropics have gained popularity in the contemporary era's fast-paced world as people search for ways to boost cognitive function and amplify mental performance. Essentially, nootropics are smart drugs, substances or supplements believed to improve brain function, including creativity, motivation, and memory. The effectiveness and safety of these substances, however, are in question. In this piece, we will delve into nootropics, their potential advantages and pitfalls.
Nootropics are a class of supplements or substances that enhance cognitive function. They are colloquially called smart drugs since they boost mental performance and brain function. Nootropics can be ingested in different forms, including powders, drinks, pills, and capsules. Some examples of nootropics include L-theanine, omega-3 fatty acids, caffeine, and creatine.
Benefits of Nootropics: Reports suggest that nootropics have several potential benefits, including enhanced memory and recall, which in turn improves name retention, facial recognition, and other minute details. They also assist in increasing focus and attention, allowing individuals to concentrate on a task for extended periods. Some nootropics boost creativity and imagination, enabling the creation of more innovative ideas. Moreover, some nootropics promote feelings of well-being, reducing stress and anxiety, and improving mood. Nootropics can increase motivation and drive, which make it easier to accomplish tasks and achieve goals.
Risks and Side Effects: While nootropics may have potential benefits, they pose potential risks and side effects. Some common adverse reactions include insomnia, nausea, and headaches. Overuse of nootropics can lead to dependency, which can impede proper functionality. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not regulate nootropics, and therefore, their effectiveness and safety remain uncertain. Nootropics can interact with prescription medication, reducing their effectiveness or causing adverse reactions.
FAQs: Q: Are nootropics safe for use? A: While some nootropics are generally considered safe, others come with potential risks and side effects. It is crucial to seek medical advice before taking nootropics.
Q: Do nootropics function effectively? A: While some nootropics may enhance cognitive function, more research is required to ascertain their effectiveness and safety.
Q: Can nootropics improve academic performance? A: Some nootropics have been demonstrated to boost memory and concentration, which may help improve academic performance.
Conclusion: Nootropics are substances or supplements that supposedly enhance cognitive function. Although they have potential benefits, they also carry risks and side effects. Prior consultation with a healthcare professional is crucial before taking nootropics, and they should only be used as prescribed. With careful use, nootropics may be a valuable tool for boosting mental performance and achieving one's goals.

So it's official kratom has been banned in the state of Georgia, as we go state by state the question looms what will take kratom's place as the new alternative for million's of people nationwide. In this episode I cover some of the plant based solutions I'm looking at right now and you should too.
The News
News broke recently that Georgia did in fact pass the bill that bans the sale and use of kratom within the state. This isn't shocking but I'd say disappointing and even discouraging for me and millions of you out there that use it everyday. It's a constant battle and fear of is my state next. The ban has been on going for years from the DEA, to the FDA all the way to this current administration which attempted to ban the export using the World Health Organizations Authority globally. All of these attempts failed, the last stand is ofcourse state to state.
The Info
Naturally many people will begin seeking alternatives within the state of Georgia from consumers to retailers. In this part I want to break down many of the plant based substances I've been looking at as a potential replacement, unfortunately none have had the same exact properties as kratom. This was going to be a difficult search from the get go and I knew this but I also know that hundreds of people rely on me nationwide to provide safe and effective solutions for their supplement needs.
Finding Kratom Alternatives Top Choices So Far
Mitragyna Javinica: Relative of kratom. Also grows in southeast Asia.
• Pros: mildly euphoric, relaxes muscles and mind similarly to kratom.
• Cons: overall more mild than kratom, less prominent mood effects and pain relief.
Mitragyna Hirsuta: Another relative of the kratom plant.
• Pros: Seems to be stimulating and pain relieving almost as well as kratom.
• Cons: Little to no euphoria, sedation. Higher doses needed makes it pretty uneconomical, especially as it is only available at high prices to begin with.
Kava: Root that grows in the Pacific Islands. The process is more involved than kratom, but it can actually be a fun little ritual and social activity.
• Pros: Very relaxing (much more than kratom), slight pain relief (not as much as kratom). Kava probably has the most visibility of any of these, meaning there are more vendors, better prices etc. As a bonus it makes your mouth all numb which is cool.
• Cons: Much more expensive than kratom, not really much euphoria. Can be too sedating.
Akuamma: Seed that grows in Africa. Indigenous people used it to treat pain among other things.
• Pros: Kills pain effectively, probably the best on the list. Pretty cost effective since you only need about 2 seeds. Seems pretty relaxing as well.
• Cons: horribly bitter to the point of inedibility. Short duration. No effects on mood, euphoria or anything besides the pain killing and relaxing effects, making it more practical than recreational.
Kanna: Plant from South Africa used for thousands of years for pain and hunger. One of the best.
• Pros: Slight pain relief (only mild). Amazing mood boost, like 0 to 100 puts you in an outstanding mood. Relatively cheap. Multiple roa’s to explore: oral, sublingual, smoked, apparently snorted although I’ve never attempted.
• Cons: Not all that great for pain, not really relaxation per se, just great mood boost.
Blue Lotus: Flowers used by the ancient Egyptians for their relaxing qualities.
• Pros: One of the most relaxing. Mild euphoria. Slight mood improvement.
• Cons: no effect on pain
Damiana: central American plant used for aphrodisiac properties.
• Pros: relaxing, may have said aphrodisiac qualities although it may be placebo. Felt like it was mildly aphrodisiac
• Cons: Subtle, barely perceptible effects. No effect on pain, euphoria
Lettuce Opium (lactucarium): used as a pain killer in medieval times, it has been forgotten for a few hundred years.
• Pros: Second most relaxing behind kava. Great pain killing effects on par with akuamma or at times even better.
• Foul taste. Subtle on its own, great in combination. No euphoria, only slight mood change.

This came across my desk last night, many of you are already aware of and have used hemp based THC products. In fact I've spoken to many of you who have claimed you like it better than traditional cannabis due to the milder effect. In this episode I rant about the recent scheduling of Hemp THC Delta 8, 9 and THCo.
The News
The DEA a week ago announced the news to the public, it's choice to schedule hemp THC products at the highest category came as a shock to many including myself. As I dove into the articles I couldn't really find a reasonable explanation describing why this was necessary. The legalization of cannabis has been the talk of the country for nearly 3+ years now. Hemp derived products have been protected by the Farm Bill of 2018 so what is the issue exactly.
After digging around I threw my hands up and concluded there isn't any logical reason provided by any of the articles released.
The Info
As I continued to think about the overall decision it was clear to me anyway that the reason may very well be due to the increase in teen use, which shouldn't be surprising. Furthermore it may have something to do with the supposed deaths from fake cannabis all of which fueled by an enormous black market. Whatever the reason it's a bad idea, how can we attempt to legalize cannabis state by state while traditional cannabis remains as a schedule 1 by the DEA and at the same time condemn hemp products to the same fate which cannabis suffered for nearly a century.
The powers that be need to really consider better laws, perhaps a decriminalization federally it would be the best decision all around for everyone, consumers and businesses alike. Banning products don't work it fuels bigger and more violent black markets as we have seen throughout history.
Conclusion Hemp THC Ban
I feel this decision wasn't weighed properly by the DEA, choices like this only do harm to the broader cannabis culture. If cannabis is to be legalized then what's the difference between hemp and cannabis. It seems as though the DEA made a preemptive move to clear the path of all competition for the advancement of cannabis legalization.
What do you think you should leave them down below.

As the world comes around to healthy eating the growing interest in plant based diets have surged. I want to share with you some of the benefits and insights relating to mushrooms specifically.
The Idea
As more people are exposed to the world of plant based nutrition the tide is beginning to shift on functional medicine. Functional medicine attempts to identify and treat under lying health conditions using food. We have all been taught to believe that our nutrition is vital to a healthy life, however it's only in the last several years that medical professionals have been vocal about how we eat and what we eat to stay healthy or regain our good health.
The truth is that yes nutrition plays a big role in how your health is determined over time. Unfortunately, if your health is already on the decline it's tough to make changes in your diet that would immediately yield results. Often if your health issues are food related then what took years to develop those health conditions may take years to fix.
Lets face it, eating handfuls of a variety of mushrooms won't necessarily yield instant results but gradually over time can aid in optimizing your health. If your not a vegan it maybe even harder to change your diet to incorporate mushrooms in large varieties with every meal to observe the benefits of mushrooms first hand..
The Data
Benefits of mushrooms are lengthy, from gut support to cognitive support you can find almost any mushroom that does one or more. The question of which ones are best for what and how to have the proper combinations to target the areas of concern are up for debate. There's 2 sets of mushroom and some offer more than one benefit to the human body here is the break down
Nutritional Mushrooms
Nootropic Mushrooms
One provides the desperately needed nutrients the human body craves while the other provides more cognitive support functions such as focus, energy, improved memory and more.
Here is a list of mushrooms that offer one or more of these benefits
For Immune Support:
Turkey Tail
Maitake
Shitake
Chaga
Over Health:
Reishi
Oyster
Wood Ear
Nootropic Cognitive Functions:
Lion's Mane
Energy Or Endurance:
Cordyceps
Cell Regeneration:
Phellinus Linteus
Read more on this article here Using Mushrooms For Better Health
Finally we also have the specific data on important proteins and other naturally occurring chemicals found in mushrooms that aid the human body in various ways. For example you have Polysaccharides and Selenium both are found in mushrooms and both play an important role in how your body can maintain homeostasis including the many other benefits of mushrooms.
Why The Human Body Needs Polysaccharides
Polysaccharides are critical when it comes to proper nutrition becausethey comprise the complex carbohydrates that, for many, serve as the body's primary energy source. Every bodily function relies on carbohydrates for energy.
Why The Human Body Needs Selenium
Selenium is an essential component of various enzymes and proteins, called selenoproteins, thathelp to make DNA and protect against cell damage and infections; these proteins are also involved in reproduction and the metabolism of thyroid hormones.
Conclusion On Benefits Of Mushrooms For Health
As you may have seen there numerous benefits of mushrooms but I can say it's difficult to add all of these to meals on a daily basis in order to get the nutritional value out of them, so if your like and want to add this into your life but don't want to eat pounds of mushrooms daily in varying varieties consider mushroom complex extracts, they come in powder or capsules.
Best ones to observe the benefits of mushrooms and that have the most nutritional value are atleast 10 to 1 extracts if you can get 20 to 1 even better though the cost is high on those.

It's been the talk of the town, artificial intelligence is being used in everything but in this case I want to highlight it's use in medicine. The development of drugs is very expensive and time consuming. So using technology to help speed things up is great and positive for humanity specifically when we are talking about medicine. However the idea of using A.I for designing drugs isn't new.
The Idea
Technology has always been critical in human history. We use it everyday to improve the quality of life every where so why not use one of the greatest creations known to man to aid in developing thoughtfully chosen potential substances that can be turned into viable medicines. Sounds good right, I agree if it can actually work, if it can drive prices down, if it can create less harmful combinations and maybe even cure disease, then it's worth a shot.
The Data
Data collected by hospitals nationwide show an annual expenditure of $90 Billion on treating opioid abuse. The problem is quite serious especially when we look at the damage in areas where lives have been lost due to over dose or due to the deuteriation of family. In this study they have shown A.I. can be an effective technology for aggregating information needed to design drugs for any purpose.
This specific article is showing the result of one such program where the aim is to reduce or eliminate the suffering associated with opioid abuse. The method shown is discussing the potential of blocking the Kappa opioid receptor associated with the reward system of the brain.
