A key congressional committee met on Tuesday to consider more than 1,200 amendments to a large-scale defense bill, including about a dozen measure related to marijuana and psychedelics. Several of those major proposed drug policy reforms have now been cleared for votes on the House floor this week. These changes in the law can bring several new options to service members in need. As mentioned in the clip the pilot program included members who were considered high risk to themselves or others due to PTSD or other mental illnesses associated with combat. This step forward would allow our men and women more access to these new treatments.
If your wondering what treatments I'm referring to I am talking about psilocybin, MDMA, Ketamine, Ayahuasca and more. Over the years few leaned in but as time has passed and the emerging evidence suggests people are healing deep traumas using these methods that now the subject has made it all the way to the House of Representatives.
As we dive in deeper theres a clip of Star Talk and the host is Neil Degrasse Tyson the famous astrophysicist. Neil and his guest Staci Gruber discussed the high likely hood of more plants with chemical properties that can either help medically or in short can get you high. Either way the point that was made is plant medicines infinite potential for helping us is immeasurable.

Across the nation there millions suffering this very second but it's not what you think. No they aren't suffering from injury but rather depression, loneliness. A study written in Psychology Today talks in depth about the symptoms that are arising now post pandemic. Loneliness is just one of many reports on the rise for ages 20 to 35 but also show higher numbers in elderly as well.
Whats more interesting is that there links between these symptoms and past trauma as early as childhood according to the study. The article also mentioned that in childhood trauma cases those tend to have the most challenges for individuals when dealing with mental break downs such as depression.
Read the article here
In this clip I want to share with you a part of the Rescuing Jill Sitnick interview months ago a part that may have gone unheard for some as the interview extended passed the hour mark. She discusses some traumas of her childhood and it linked well with the recent article above, her story is one of many brave individuals willing to share their most vulnerable moments.

Top Trending Question Can Kratom Help People: FDA Sends Warning Letters Citing Marketing Issues

A top trending question many have asked about kratom is can it help with withdrawals. The answer isn't simple, the FDA has strict laws preventing any company's from making claims of treating or curing Opioid Use Disorder. Yet we have had a decade of wide usage, few incidents in between and millions who have found an alternative to dangerous and illegal substances they may have preferred.
The FDA issued a warning a week ago as it sent out letters to 5 kratom brands indicating they have been caught marketing their kratom for opioid use disorder, opioid withdrawals etc. This ofcourse is indeed a big no no for the industry as a whole but every body does it to help consumers understand what the plant is. The truth is their many reasons people use kratom today, some for chronic debilitating pain some for anxiety and some for unknown reasons, bottom line there many.
I ask that law makers and those within FDA to at the least study, investigate and report the findings in it's entirety. Theres a moral obligation to ensure fair access to plant medicines if proven to help and in this instance it has shown much more than that. I myself have helped hundreds of people maybe thousands over the decade with many circumstances these 2 mentioned above included among them. The success stories have outnumbered the negative incidents claimed over the years, yet where is the logic or will to study the facts. In the report on the FDA.gov site it had mentioned that the FDA had also received numerous reports of concerning cases surrounding kratom use with no links or further information.
It's an upsetting and difficult situation, but I feel we must hold our ground today so we may have ground to stand on in the future as we build a foundation for plant medicines and their fair access. The argument is that kratom has not been evaluated nor determined to help treat/cure any diseases. What do we do when we have clearly seen millions of people who have turned their lives around using kratom, how do we present such a substantial piece of evidence to those in positions of influence to consider.
The laws in place are designed to protect us, this is a good thing, but when will the FDA and those that govern it from within have a change of heart, how much evidence is needed to change your mind. On the flip side if kratom were to be banned state by state till it's absorbed the union then how will those people in power take responsibility for the countless deaths associated with dangerous and illegal substances that would inevitably follow.
Thanks for reading, listening and watching

What is the bliss point of human experience surrounding all plants, substances, drugs and food? Today we will learn more about a term little known by the average person it's called the bliss point. Everything we interact with can produce chemicals in our brain, when it's positive we feel good and we feel bad when it's negative. The key to understanding how these things in our lives effect us we should take a look inward first.
Inside our mind and body we are made up of neurons, chemicals and cells all performing complex tasks every single day. To learn more about how these chemicals work when you consume everything in sight you must checkout the clip of Dr. Fenster, he describes the evolutionary changes in our species diet and how it is we made it here to a modern civilization utilizing industrialized techniques for agriculture to food processing and more.
"The convenience is a huge factor" he says adding that the way these foods are made today are engineered to be hyper palatable, "in other words addictive".
You can learn more about Dr. Michael Fenster
The truth is though we only covered food in this episode much of everything in our lives work the same way. I believe it's time to share and educate as many people about addiction, biology and how we can use what we have learned to overcome some of these challenges of today because traditionally when we think of addiction we think of substance or alcohol abuse, this is where I see the issue. Addiction isn't based on the substance it's primarily attributed to our biology this is why we can develop habits around virtually anything.
This is also how we are taken advantage of being we are driven by chemicals, emotions and desires it isn't too difficult to do when many of us govern our lives in such a way.
Thanks for reading, listening and watching.

If you care about your health, what you eat and what goes into your food you will find this episode helpful to better understand what to avoid and how to live a healthier life moving foward.
Welcome back every one thank you for joining me in today's episode of The Daily Dose, today we have on a special guest, “You are MORE than what you eat! Chef Dr. Mike; Cardiologist, Professional Chef, and Prof. of Culinary Medicine explores the food experience!”
He has authored multiple books such as Ancient Eats and Eating Better Living Better you can find his books here Dr. Michael Fenster's Books
You may also find his work on Psychology Today. In todays episode we'll discuss many things about the work he does surrounding the "food experience" as he likes to call it, as a doctor he has observed and worked closely with peers to better understand the way food effects us today. As you know much of the world's food is processed, it's been like this a long time and it's purpose all about productivity and meeting sky rocketing demand. The idea that food can be medicine isn't new as ancient civilizations have been known to use plant medicines but it's the first time we hear a professional like Dr. Michael Fenster share with us just how much we have deviated from the planets natural food matrix.
The methodology for agriculture today is a sign of the many problems we face as a society, should be evident that if the method destroys the eco system of the soil that it's time to find a more sustainable way to grow food. Yet here we are embroiled in politics, in fighting and a lack of interest from those who can legislate for a better tomorrow.
Food is survival, so it should go without saying that this matter should have the highest of priority. The reality is we have many special interests with a powerful motive to profit on our biological responses to the foods engineered today. That's a fact, though I've had my own suspicions for years about the addictive nature of highly processed foods, Dr. Fenster made it clear of the methods and scientific approach to how and why these foods are made this way which a real eye opener.
Thanks for reading, listening or watching.

Top Trending Question In Cannabis: Can I Pass A Drug Test With HHC?

Can I pass a drug test on HHC, a common questions I've been getting lately as more people want to partake in this past time. You yourself may have wondered this too and in this episode I'll try to find some answers that may help. I spent few days digging around trying to find reputable sources for information regarding this question and found very little.
What was clear is that there is most certainly a difference between HHC and THC terms of chemical make up. If you have done some basic searching most articles suggest that you will probably fail a test if you have been using HHC. However through some additional searching I can present you with an alternative answer which unfortunately still leaves questions.
To keep it short all cannabinoids react with the human body, these ALT THC products do as well but their chemical make up is a bit different from THC itself. THC leaves traces of specific chemicals that have been known to be used for drug detection and in some of the information out there suggests that the way HHC is made up chemically that it does not leave those traces behind like THC does.
Another suggestion was made that if you are to use HHC find ones that are Isolates or Broad Spectrum based as these would not have any THC, when I did some light reading on this and thought about it I realized theres a good chance most large brands use an Isolate due to Federal Laws.
An individual I spoke with recently told me he uses HHC regularly and indeed undergoes frequent screenings, according to his story and experience the claim was that he has not once failed since he started using HHC but important to note that it's just one case would validate itself if we heard hundreds of thousands of others claiming the same thing.
There was some info stating that drug panels for testing haven't even been developed for HHC yet and may never be.
Bottom line there isn't enough info to determine one way or the other though the scientific explanation is compelling and would require further investigation.

Washington D.C. Passes Bill That Protects Cannabis Users: Employers Can't Fire You Anymore

Welcome back everyone to another episode of The Daily Dose today we are catching up on various articles of news and diving into the twitterverse for a bit. Some of the major headlines last 24hrs around cannabis were relating to Thailand decriminalizing cannabis for medical use only at this time.
It's odd that multiple publications covered this story but it isn't a huge story, in fact it was first reported couple months back that the country was considering doing so. I must say sometimes the most important news never makes it to the top and it's sad.
The next piece is relating to you, your job and cannabis use. Just as the title says Washington D.C. has passed a bill protecting workers from getting fired for testing positive on a drug screening. This is huge but requires more effort to get it passed nationwide that would be monumental.
Hard to believe it took so long the thought that alcohol is accepted by employers knowing how much performance can be effected by a hangover but cannabis no YOUR FIRED! Silly in my opinion and the laws in some places seem to agree. The next steps are to iron out more details and figure out how to get similar laws passed in other states. People shouldn't lose their jobs especially if their performance was never in question.
Finally the MPL situation, Congress is attempting to give more power to the FDA regarding dietary supplements in the US market. Some may want this and some may not but let me explain what this means and would encourage you to do more research as well to determine the best choice based on your informed opinion.
What Congress wants to do is make it mandatory for manufacturers of all dietary supplements which includes CBD, Kratom and many other Nootropics to make available and provide label info on products to be listed on a website hosted by the FDA.
In many instances I'd say sure thats good for transparency and good for consumers. On The other hand I can't overlook the fact it'll destroy any one too small much like how we saw in the vape industry with all the recent regulation it eliminated a lot of honest small businesses, now nicotine products prefilled and manufactured in China have moved in, most brands are directly made in China. So is this what we want for the dietary supplement world of plant medicines and solutions? I guess the main question is how much reporting does the FDA want, what would the extent of this newly gained power be. Furthermore I worry it'll drive prices up on these products and wouldn't allow smaller players to grow if the cost is too high to comply with the new MPL requirements.
I believe it's best to find middle ground for Congress, FDA and for manufacturers something that is reasonable and doesn't destroy everything in it's path but lays a foundation to operate by.

Welcome everyone thanks for joining me today it was a great morning waking up to see more positive news arise from the research conducted relating to Psilocybin mushrooms. The title says it all and was reported by CNN today, the reality is setting in and people are waking up to these alternatives.
It's nice to see the professional medical and scientific community is also coming around, there many implications if something doesn't give and what I mean is an individuals mental or emotional health matters but when disregarded for long periods of time it begins to manifest in awful ways effecting the quality of life for that person and everyone around them as well.
The article points out a few key details such as the studies showing people under going monitored treatment of psilocybin saw remarkable changes within 2 sessions. This isn't the first time we've heard of rapid results if we take a look at MDMA therapy that too has shown similar results when comparing recovery times.

This clip was from the conversations I had with Michael Thornhill Co-Founder of Casa Galactica an Ayahuasca retreat center for trauma and healing. In this discussion he explains the meaning he has come to know and understand about the plant based medicine Ayahuasca, the many other plant medicines and ofcourse what he means when he talks about inter-dimensional beings.
You may have heard about Ayahuasca and the psychedelic journey's people have been through, the ancient brew has been a guide for humanity a long time. The experience comes with a lot of work, preparation and commitment so these conversations with trained guides such as Michael help paint a picture of not just what it's like but how it brings about life changing events. The event as Michael put "it's catalytic" very explosive and has the potential to shape your future in a positive way.
It's always been a question in my mind as to what people were talking about when they spoke of other beings near them while on Ayahuasca, I've also heard many mention the same tale on DMT. Hopefully in this episode we can gain some insight into what that means exactly.
Thanks for reading, listening and watching.

Welcome back everyone to another episode today we are covering the recent flavor ban relating to tobacco and nicotine products. The vote was in on Wednesday this week 12-0 in favor of the ban. Los Angeles Council members feel this would further protect young people from picking up products like vapes.
Sadly the truth is that young teens and older teens alike are likely to also enjoy the buzz of nicotine so I feel it goes deeper than just the flavors though they are the "hook" in a sense I do understand this part. I saw some stats on the use of these products for last year 2021 and it was something insane, 70% of highschool students admitted to using a product like a vape within the last 30 days, thats very high but I would like to know a bit more. Such as which major cities were in the test group, did every school in these cities participate. I ask a question of this type to understand where the 70% comes from.
In any case I don't believe the problem will go away that easily but I have watched and observed, every major city across the state of California has a similar ban in place, LA was the last stop I suppose. Inevitable is the word I'd think of when considering all this we'll have to wait and see if it's infact effective or not.
However let me bring this up, if you grew up as a young teen in the 90's or later think about why we smoked, they didn't taste great, far from it and yet we had our reasons to do so same would be said with today some may stop using flavored tobacco products but ultimately in my opinion not enough to have justified a ban like this.
Next we have a part of todays episode covering a story behind the generous donations from cannabis company's who have participated in programs to give free medical cannabis to those in need. As the price of cannabis for most recreational users may seem reasonable for those who use it for medicine it can be quite costly, for some as high as $1000 a month.
This program if qualified can delivery you medical cannabis monthly for free, yes completely free. As of now it seems the focus is on veterans in need but according to the article regular citizens have had access to it too.

Welcome back everyone to part 2 of this adventure we are on with Co-Founder of Casa Galactica Michael Thornhill. Michael is a traditionally trained plant spirit healer, professional channel and advocate of trauma-informed care. Recovering from addiction, trauma and abuse have been a big part of Michael's own healing journey. He now dedicates his life to helping others heal themselves.
Casa Galactica offer Ayahuasca Healing and Evolution Retreats, online private sessions and group programs for dedicated inner-truth seekers and multidimensional healers.
They help inner-truth seekers release the pain of the past, empower their healing, activate their intuition, and embody their truth. They train multidimensional healers to connect with Spirit, illuminate their shadow, strengthen their calling, and cultivate their professional ethic. Through their life-transformative online workshops, intuitive readings, trauma healing sessions, channeling sessions, intuitive design and branding, Ayahuasca Healing & Evolution Retreats, and Noya Rao Dietas, they invite you to come home to the truth of Who You Are!
In this episode we talk about the process Casa Galactica uses including screenings, consultations and more, we'll discuss the benefits of small group sessions versus larger groups and dissect the differences between synthetic DMT (typically short lived sessions) versus the Ayahuasca brew offered during ceremonies (usually many hours).
For sure Casa Galactica is different, their approach, extensive preparations and multi-faceted ceremony aim to target exactly the root cause of what may be troubling an individual. It'll be great to see how many people can be helped long term using their retreat and methods, perhaps in 10 years we'll find out exactly the depth of impact they may have on the world.

You can find more info about what Michael offers at CasaGalactica.com
Welcome back everyone today we have the pleasure of speaking with Michael Thornhill the co-founder of Casa Galactica an Ayahuasca retreat center where he has worked with the local indigenous people to learn the methods of the long standing tradition of Ayahuasca ceremonies.
There aren't many places like Casa Galactica, they take the plant medicines available within the jungles of Peru to create a road map around individual needs to bring about a catalytic event that has a potential to transform your life. As Michael put it himself a person interested in this type of therapy must undergo rigorous prep whether thats understanding the purpose or learning about the process one would endure.
The reality is that psychedelics are for the first time being taken seriously in the western world, there numerous studies about the benefits and ongoing research quantifying the effects as some people report that the positive effects last months after the trials. As a society we are looking back to the past to learn from ancient civilizations, these ancients held the keys to the universe of mind, body and spirit and held such knowledge so long ago.
What Michael talks about in this episode of The Daily Dose is the powerful effects that Ayahuasca offers people to empower themselves to grow beyond the physical and emotional limitations they face in their current lives leaving people with the knowledge and tools that can facilitate a long term recovery from past traumas.
The road to healing with Ayahuasca isn't a cure and it isn't something to abuse or exclusively rely on, it simply reveals the door you must walk through to begin the journey. Everyone's story's of their psychedelic journey differs but the one thing that stands out to me guest after guest is that there similarities in the outcome.

Welcome back everyone thanks for joining me today, it's been on my mind lately the fact that the medicine part from cannabis has been stripped and in it's place THC levels have been enhanced.
I thought hey maybe I'll find some info online some studies or research, something but sadly nothing was found. I did come across what I believe to be old info published by a government site relating to substance abuse. It outlined the dangers of consuming cannabis and some of the things mentioned in that article are now having the opposite reported effect.
My thought was "this is an old article by a government site" but then the thought occurred well hey now that we've learned more about the medicinal properties of cannabis will this info be updated? My guess is probably not as it's probably a long forgotten public announcement.
Then we have the potential ban of Alt THC products that are flooding the country in every corner, the threat is real as many states have moved to ban the lot of them, in this episode I'll name the states and discuss a possible alternative that is ban proof according to one of my associates in the industry of cannabis.
All this and more in today's Daily Dose Episode, thanks so much for reading, listening and watching.

Welcome thanks for joining me today, on this Daily Dose I want to discuss in a rapid fire manner various pieces of cannabis news now specifically bringing your attention to how much emphasis is placed by publications the tax revenue generated by all the recent states going legal.
I bring it up because I find it interesting how that is the most published topic surrounding cannabis, though yes other aspects and benefits of cannabis legalization are discussed but week after week there is a concerted effort to show us how much your state is making off the decision of opening the legal weed market.
There other pieces of articles such as Japans ministry of health or something announced an interest in exploring medical cannabis which is huge as Japan has been a zero tolerance country on drugs for a very long time, it lead me down a rabbit hole of ideas surrounding the future of cannabis globally.
I continue to search for great guests in professional backgrounds relating to cannabis or plant based medicines to bring onto the podcast so we can actually speak with someone who has greater insight into what is going on behind the scenes of the cannabis world. Through these interviews we can discover and learn so much about what is never shown or spoken about in sounds bytes provided by traditional media.
So heres a call to action, if you are one of these professionals in the cannabis or plant based medicines world contact me, would appreciate the opportunity to speak with people who are well versed and can teach me and others listening about these areas of interest.

Today we are closely looking at a NIH.gov blog post that informed the public of a lecture being conducted to speak on the benefits of kratom use. This blog post was published early April and the lecture was for April 25th, 2022 so this has already come and gone. I some how missed this but the importance of it is what truly matters.
The lecture itself was conducted by Dr. McCurdy reported to be an expert on kratom and is a professor at the school of medicine in the state of Florida. Not much has been found on the actual lecture as I continue to search for any additional info as to who came and what was spoken about. The specific point of topic was how kratom benefits those who abuse opioids and how it helps with withdrawal symptoms. Though much of this is already well known by now it is great to see medical professionals speak positively about kratom.
The main point I like to make is that plant sciences are very important when we put up barriers for study we harm ourselves and prevent growth in an area that could benefit everyone. Case and point here is none other than cannabis and ofcourse psychedelics as well both of which if allowed to have been studied without barriers could have yielded many beneficial applications by now so in other words we are definitely stunted terms of our understanding.
What is great about this lecture is that it was supported by the NIH and spoken of as beneficial therapeutic applications, this is different from the bashful words usually used by medical professionals when asked about kratom. There have been many professional who have repeatedly addressed kratom as a dangerous plant with little evidence to justify it. This is why I bring up this lecture today to point out that this is positive and may lead to more open discussions around plant based solutions.

Welcome back everyone todays cannabis news now comes from Marijuana Moment a great publication for up to date cannabis news. Today a ruling was issued by the Court of Appeals 9th Circuit regarding Delta 8 THC as a legal compound recognized by the 2018 Farm Bill and Federally legal. The 3 Federal Judges appointed to make a decision on the future of Delta 8 THC and every ALT THC that comes thereafter could not overrule the original judgement put forth by the Farm Bill.
The decision was made to allow Congress to have a crack at it if need be. The term "loophole" was used to describe the growing ALT THC market as the nation gets flooded with all kinds of goodies imaginable.
It's hard to know if this was a good or bad decision and how it'll effect everything in this ALT THC world thats gaining steam. One thing is for sure Congress may take action what that'll look like it's anybody's guess. I personally think it may go too far in regulating things and my honest desire is to just let cannabis and all derivatives be, as is, enough with the constant regulation and prohibition.
If Congress did nothing about this that would be the most favorable outcome, as cannabis continues to go mainstream it would seem pointless to target ALT THC products for a nationwide ban.

Today we will discuss mental health and emotional health in our society with our special guest author Jill Sitnick, she has had quite the life and had been diagnosed with PTSD, she was reluctant to believe it but the evidence that continued to present itself was compelling enough to change her mind. In this episode she'll dive into her most intimate memories as a child to uncover traumas of the past, it is where she discovered for the first time that the PTSD diagnoses was in fact true.
Through the help of her care giver and medical professional she was turned on to the possibility of exploring psychedelics. She had never considered it an option but with time running out and the feeling of urgency increasing Jill finally took the leap and spent months researching and learning about this space before making the commitment.
Every day tens of millions of people around the world suffer from symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, suicidal tendencies, PTSD and more. For many of these individuals it's been a hopeless cycle of trialing new medicines that either help a little or make things worse. The underlying cause is never talked about, psychedelics offer that window into yourself that often is blocked off by emotional trauma or protective barriers. The experience with psychedelics for therapy is showing better and better results at doing just that, enabling those who seek it to discover for the fist time the route cause of their psychological and emotional pain.
Just like Jill many people are waking up to the possibility that they too can heal if the correct tools are provided. In the research studies shared by MAPS.org it clearly has some validity as many PTSD patients undergoing treatment are later in just a few sessions being declared as no longer qualifying for the program as their symptoms dissipate over time.
Remarkable to think that in a few sessions something like generational scars can be undone in less than a year. Painful scars from 20 years ago beginning to heal with a few sessions isn't the only thing thats notable, the fact that through integration many people can continue living productive happy lives after treatment and not requiring more speaks volumes too.

Welcome back everyone in today's episode we'll be diving into the world of pain management, I have a special guest who will guide us on this journey, Dr. Mitchell Yass. In this hour long conversation we discuss many things from the causes of pain, to differentiating the areas effected. In his long tenure Dr. Yass has helped thousands of people and has thirty years of experience on the topic. He has written 3 books and has had a PBS special on the matter.
You can find Dr. Mitchell on Youtube @Dr. Mitchell Yass where he talks about his method, you may also find his website useful @https://livewithoutpains.com/
I like many suffer from chronic pain, in the knees, lower back and shoulders. The number of Americans who can relate are staggering close to 130 million to be exact, statistic is provided by the NIH. What we've been taught and conditioned to accept is that pain is inevitable and forever. Our guest however will educate us like he has so many before about the nature of pain, the most likely causes, the inefficiencies of MRI to diagnose correctly the cause plus much more.
I managed to squeeze in some questions I was curious about because if we can reduce or eliminate pain before it gets worse we are less likely to end up in surgery later on in life, plus the learned skills of how to better identify the root of the pain when we experience something similar in the future, it's about preventative care because it's true medicine makes for a good business and sick people return more often than healthy ones.
Dr. Mitchell opened up with a quote from the father of medicine Hippocrates it went like this, "The cause of symptoms can easily be identified by interpreting the body's presentation of those symptoms" it is this and his great courage that led him to develop the Yass Method.
Thanks for watching or listening hope this has been useful in some way, if your one of the millions of people suffering from pain please hear him out it won't cost you anything but it may help.

Welcome back everyone today we are going to discuss the FDA warning issued to 5 company's that I've never heard of but the reasons are what are interesting.
By now you may have heard of alternative THC compounds available to consume via vapables, edibles and smokables all 100% hemp derived, if your wandering what the implications are it was established no too long ago that any by-product of hemp even variables of THC are legal in the market and have been stated so by the DEA several months ago.
So what is the FDA talking about and why are they issuing warnings to these 5 mentions company's well we are going to find out in today's episode, we'll talk about the the FDA's original warning issued months prior talking about what to know about these new compounds surrounding THC and talks about it's safety.
The questions and concerns they raise are interesting but as always they didn't provide enough data to warrant a concern it was just brushed off as unsafe that there supposed reports of incidents relating to it's use but no further information was provided about what incidents occurred or where. Such data is crucial for the public to know so they may make better decisions when exploring these products.
As always there many brands in the market and I always urge to stick with reputable brands that take the work seriously, there were other issues that the FDA mentioned with these company's they warned such as how it's being marketed and possibly packaging, furthermore the marketing issues they mentioned were said to be making claims that it can cure or treat medical issues and that is a big one that the FDA described as something they monitor often.
In other words the FDA is saying they are keeping an eye out on this industry as it expands into many different forms of products and are urging caution to all users.

Welcome back everyone thanks for joining me in today's Daily Dose we'll be going through rapid fire cannabis news now where several articles point towards a shift in global policy and pushing cannabis mainstream worldwide.
In the first bit of good news Connecticut residents will soon be able to order cannabis for delivery, happened to be one of the major headlines of the day. This is great for those who work all day and have no time but now with these recent developments in the state's policy it looks like it'll be solved soon so why go when it can come to you.
The next piece was quite interesting and along the way showed more evidence that something global is happening with cannabis, exactly what we won't know for some time but more countries are taking rapid action towards policy change surrounding cannabis, I mean major countries. This immediately had my attention and should grab yours too because this can lead to global acceptance by governments some day soon.
Had me wondering why it's all happening now, why are the efforts accelerating around the globe, could there be some unspoken coordination with other countries. To me it seemed like a possibility that we are on the verge of complete global reform with weed and that all roads lead to a world where cannabis and it's hemp by products become a major resource because of it's vast manufacturing possibilities, can cannabis and hemp lead us to a more sustainable future.
All this and more thanks for watching or listening to today's Daily Dose

Elon Musk Tweet Shakes Internet The Benefits Of Psychedelics In Society

A day or so ago Elon Musk tweeted a comment on the destructive nature of mental health care and the drugs associated with them. This ofcourse broke the internet once again as all major publications report on it in a negative light painting a picture that Elon is some how in the wrong for sharing an opinion.
Since when do we hold the authority to censor someone because they have an opinion or is this merely what happens to those who hold so much influence such as Musk to move markets in less than a day or to piss off the internet with his ideas of how things should be for the greater good. Not many can get away with these antics online but it seems Elon is well versed in the media and is able to dodge often times what would be considered a PR nightmare with great ease, he just shrugs it off like it's nothing.
In this instance there are a number of data points that show us he isn't wrong but in fact correct in the opinion he and many of us who are advocates for improving mental health and exploring alternatives share. The drugs associated with depression or anxiety are addictive and harmful and worse for some not effective at all.
He points this out in his tweet "I have spoken with many more people who have seen incredible results using ketamine therapy versus Wellbutrin" this did not go well for the internet as many people who are advocates of Big Pharma quickly took position against what he tweeted.
The data is available for everyone to see, these clinical trials of psychedelic therapy are proving to work far better, but the greater question is why isn't any of the multinational medicine company's jumping all over this opportunity to help people worldwide. It's been obvious for so long that we live in a sick care society where your well being is not the goal or objective it's profits it's always been profits, if we took the time to look around us it's visible everywhere.

Today we'll go over cannabis news the top headlines. The Possibility of having heart issues from smoking too much is a real thing thats why we've always been taught that smoking anything is bad. Well the study's data suggests that includes cannabis.
The dangers according to the growing data from research suggests perhaps we should all take a break from the bong and consider vaping weed or straight edibles long term.
That was the biggest question for me what happens if we stop smoking and we just ingest gummies and cookies what if any issues may arise terms of ones health. Naturally it'll take a while to find out as that is the only way to truly understand.
Ofcourse we all want the strongest bud we can find but guess who has the title for strongest THC content I bet you'll never guess who but you'll find out in the episode today.
The impending doom surrounding the cannabis industry as business struggle and cultivators struggle, shit everyone is struggling and that's no joke the suffering continues though for this industry too much cannabis not enough buyers as the states continue to over tax it. It may change at some point but not soon enough perhaps thats the idea behind it all squeeze everyone out who is too small and buy them out for pennies.
All this and more in today's episode of The Daily Dose where ever you maybe thank you for listening or watching have a fantastic day.

Welcome back every one today we have plenty happening in cannabis and some positive developments with kratom plus we'll dive into the growing popularity of nootropics. As I go through rapid fire news there wasn't anything that stood out as very important. Most notable I suppose was the truck chase with cannabis falling out of the back here in California last night some time.
Crazy to think that stuff like that is happening wouldn't you agree in a split second Congress can legalize it and make it safer under the law but there still illegal grows and the black market to contend with even after some thing like that happened. One of the headlines spoke of reaching a conclusion on legalization but I've seen articles saying that for months so it's hard to tell when or what it'll look like.
Funny enough we are all super excited about the prospect of legalization but I came across another piece talking about 4 cities in Colorado refusing to allow cannabis businesses into their community. Could it be the crime currently associated with it as I described above which happened last night here in California, I honestly don't know.
Now on to the main point of today's episode I've seen a growing interest in nootropics over the last 2 years, I've carried nootropics for years and few knew about it, but it's adoption and acceptance is an interesting insight as I continue to observe the space inside out.
I'll talk alittle about what it is, whether it's safe and what the internet has to say about it including the NIH (National Institute for Health)
Thanks for listening to today's episode I appreciate you.

A Deep Dive Into Pain Management How Medicine Should Do Right By Society

Hope everyone is having a fantastic day we'll be diving into various articles of news relating to the vape industry, individual wellness, discuss the issues surrounding the opioid crisis and how pain management by medical practitioners has changed over the years.
First up we have some of the vape related news recently the FDA was given serious authority and control over regulating all nicotine products. This new found authority gave them the ability to also reject over one million vape products creating deep uncertainty for the future of vaping in general. There is also the fact that the state of California has a initiative it wants to pass in November of this year banning all flavored vapes period. The effort has been on going for a while now and we saw how each major city was effected by the ban as the effort moved it's way across the state. It's unfortunate for many of us who will be effected by the ban and far worse for those who go back to smoking. The decision to ban all flavored vapes started from the idea that young teens were vaping because of the flavors and that if we remove flavors the use among young people would cease but it's a flawed argument because no one is considering that maybe the nicotine also plays a roll in increased use as it provides a buzz for new users.
Next there was a study shown that specific flavors of vape products increases inflammation in the brain, heart and lungs. It was quite a read and I found it to be interesting that the mice being tested on were showing elevated levels of inflammation, the study experimented with different brands of vape products and different flavors as well. I was really impressed at the depth it went and want to learn more about the findings I'll share more when I learn more about it.
Then we have ofcourse a simple way to reduce stress and improve a sense of wellness you carry day to day, it's being shown the forest bathing can do just this. I feel it's been known for some time that we as a species have a unique connection with the planet and everything else on it, I felt more confident about the idea as I began my journey with psilocybin mushrooms. The experience on mushrooms while in nature amplified the feelings of oneness and I took that feeling a step further to just make time to go out into nature.
As we all have heard the past months Purdue Pharma was fined a large sum of money by the Federal courts for their part in the manufacturing of the addictive pain killer Oxy theres even a documentary on it that was released not too long after the verdict was made. There is a serious need for medicine to do right by people and society.
Thank you for joining me today on The Daily Dose have a fantastic weekend everyone.
