Bob Chiaradio Addresses Several Issues For Westerly, RI School Committee On Lack Of Transparency - APRA Responses - Unwillingness To Serve The Public
Bob Chiaradio once again asks for clarification on staff hiring of policy 4145. He has three questions regarding the hiring practices. First, is race and/or gender a criteria for hiring.
Second, are students on the SIT team involved with the selection of a candidate? Third, if a candidate is qualified, what is meant by student need to determine that qualification?
Bob has requested several times for a list of Title IX violations in the Westerly school district and no answers have been given in any form. The committee is required to report those violations.
He finally received a response to his APRA submitted in July. He had asked the school department provide a list of committee members that review books for the school system libraries. No response given nor can they provide minutes of any meetings that have taken place.
Mr. Chiaradio is furious that the school system lax transparency and willingness to work with the public they serve giving the appearance they have something to hide.

Dr. McDonald's Deposition By Parents United RI Lawyer Gregory P. Piccirilli
Dr. McDonald clearly did not come prepared for his deposition by Parents United RI vs. McKee and others.
It is painful to listen to a man who was once the interim director for the Rhode Island Department of Health spend endless minutes to answer simple questions. One might suppose he was trained in the art of delay tactics to kill the two and half hour clock.

Nicole Solas, one of Rhode Island’s supermoms, appeared on America’s Newsroom of the FoxNews Channel to discuss the latest attempts by one of the largest teacher’s unions in the country, the NEA, to replace the word ‘mother’ with ‘birthing person’ in an attempt to be more inclusive and appease the sex alphabet mob.
Nicole points out the NEA’s woke attempts are actually going to do the exact opposite because it’ll exclude some while trying to include everyone the LGBTQIA+ believes everyone can identify as a birthing person.
This woke agenda begins with the mentally ill transgender community that are obsessed with genitals and sex and are pushing their illness to students.

Rhode Island Supermom Nicole Solas Appears On Fox News Over Extraordinary Fees For Public School Curriculum Information
Nicole Solas is a South Kingstown, RI mom who simply wanted to know what would be taught to her child in their school system.
One would think it seemed to be a reasonable request but was met with unreasonable, extraordinary fees. The high hurdle gives the appearance that the school system simply doesn’t want parents to know what children are to be taught.
She was threatened with lawsuit for simply following instructions given to her by the school committee and then sued by the NEA.
To this date, 6-28-22, the information requested has not been given to Nicole Solas.

Bob Chiaradio Addresses Westerly RI Town Council On School Committee Obscenity Complaint Filed With AG And Removal Of Zoom From Meetings
Bob Chiaradio, a solid citizen of Westerly, RI, addresses the town council on two key issues.
The first is the removal of Zoom from town council and school committee meetings that might stifle resident attendance and participation. The reasons given that some cannot attend might be due to illness, vacation of travel but these very same people would still like to join in through Zoom. Zoom cost $250 per meeting while Westerly is third in per pupil expenditure in Rhode Island at $26K per student.
The second point of order is the ongoing battle with the school committee to remove some books from the school’s libraries and in some case, a teacher’s classroom. These books often depicts pornographic, obscene and in some cartoon depictions, what might be viewed as pedophilia.
He brings up the numerous times he’s addressed the school committee, went through the required obstacle courses, filed a complaint with the town manager and most recently, a criminal complaint with the attorney general’s office which has sat on hands.

It didn’t matter that S2653 failed to come out of committee because the Senate took up H6614 Sub A because they knew it had a majority to accept and pass H6614 Sub A sponsored by Rep. Justine Caldwell.
