‘You’re not going to believe this’: Trump’s words to Vance following 2nd assassination attempt
JD Vance has revealed details of the conversation he had with Donald Trump, just minutes after the former president was the target of an assassination attempt, the second in as many months.
Just 10 minutes after Ryan Wesley Routh was spotted in the bushes surrounding Trump’s Mar-a-Lago golf club, Vance reportedly got a call from his boss. ‘JD, you’re not going to believe this, but they tried to do it again,’ Trump reportedly said.
‘No, you’re joshing me. But, what’s going on here sir?’ Vance replied, to which Trump said, ‘I was playing golf and the Secret Service found somebody who was trying to shoot me,’ adding that he was fine but ‘pissed off’ that he hadn't been able to finish his golf game.

‘Migrant influencer’ may stay in US despite deportation order
Venezuelan ‘migrant influencer’ Leonel Moreno, known for encouraging illegal border crossers to squat in US homes and bragging how much free stuff he gets from the government, has been handed a deportation order by an Ohio-based immigration judge. Despite the ruling, Moreno is unlikely to be deported soon due to a diplomatic standoff. Venezuela’s government has halted deportation flights in retaliation for US sanctions, making it difficult for immigration authorities to enforce the judge’s order.
Moreno, who entered the US illegally in 2022 and was arrested in Ohio earlier this year, has stirred controversy with his online posts, where he bragged about avoiding work and using his US citizen child to gain benefits, thanking ‘Papa Biden.’ Despite remaining in custody, he claims to be a victim of ‘persecution’ and ‘misinformation,’ both in Venezuela and the US. Authorities have also linked him to military intelligence in Venezuela, though Moreno denies this, stating he merely served in the Venezuelan Navy. That’s not a euphemism for migrant boats.

Russian drone rams two Ukrainian drones out of the sky
Taking out two drones with two shots is difficult. Taking out two drones with one shot is impressive. But taking out two drones with no shots… Yet somehow this Russian drone operator managed to do just that. Spotting two Ukrainian quadcopters, the drone operator prepared for ramming speed, hoping to at least take one out. He rammed, and instead of his drone being smashed, it merely bounced off the Ukrainian drone, which became little more than a puff of dirt as it fell to the ground. Surprised, he did the same thing with the second one, and the same thing happened again.
Presumably very confused at this point, he flew the drone away, almost as if nothing had happened.

Macron jumps strangely in front of disabled Paralympic athletes
French President Emmanuel Macron decided to celebrate France’s success at the Paralympics by pretending to be a Wii Sports background character for some reason. The French Paralympic team, who won a combined 75 medals including 19 gold, gathered outside the Arc de Triomphe to celebrate their achievements alongside Macron, who unfortunately tried to do the most cringe thing a Western bureaucratic leader can do: pretend to be a real human. He began rhythmically jumping up and down, somehow barely moving anything at all despite jumping, chanting ‘qui ne saute pas n'est pas Français.’
‘If you don’t jump, you’re not French.’
The Paralympians, many of whom are permanently confined to wheelchairs, could only look on in a mixture of horror, disgust and pity as Macron kept gyrating like he was animated by broken 2006 Nintendo hardware.
