The GREATS of Debussy!
Did You Know..?
He shrugged off the traditional to embrace the ethereal, his works and nature seemed to go beyond the spiritual. He brought us the simple melodies of sea, nature, and moonlight, perfectly combining old and new to reunite. Debussy’s life was filled with pleasure and pain, that at times some could even believe Debussy was a little insane. However, Debussy’s style of music enabled us to truly see beyond the elusive and fleeting, so we can now appreciate everything has another meaning…
I hope you enjoy my pick of The Greats of Debussy!

The GREATS of Classical Music - Beethoven, Mozart and Handel
The BEST of BEETHOVEN, MOZART, and HANDEL with Soothing Nature Scenery provides a beautiful backdrop to the talented composer's pieces in this video. Each nature piece aids in invoking a deeper connection with what you are listening to - as though imagining the music notes flowing over you like a stream flows over stones. These are some of my favourites of Beethoven, Mozart and Handel.
Some of the greatest composers of all time – Beethoven, Mozart and Handel pioneered their own style of music. Still to this day, their music speaks to all of us in movies, theatre, or just in our living room for inspiration.
Songs:
00:00 Piano Sonata no. 15 in D major 'Pastoral', Op. 28 II Andante (Beethoven)
06:53 Piano Sonata no. 17 in B-Flat Major, K. 570 III_Allegretto_Grazioso (Mozart)
13:04 Suite No.2 in D Major (Handel)
24:50 Piano Sonata No.32 In C Minor, Op.111 - 2. Arietta (Adagio Molto Semplice E Cantabile) (Beethoven)

The GREATS of Beethoven, Mozart and Strauss!
Did You Know..?
Beethoven, Mozart and Strauss compositions have a calming effect which aids in releasing dopamine.
Dopamine prevents the release of stress hormones, and spikes feelings of pleasure and focus. From here, mood is improved - clarifying thinking, increasing the ability to absorb information, and see things from other perspectives.
A range of studies have been released showing that students that listened to classical music while studying performed better in exams.
Additionally, classical music can improve productivity and creativity in the work place, and for work projects.
I hope you enjoy my pick of The Greats of Beethoven, Mozart and Strauss!

The Greats of Chopin!
Did you Know…?
The combination of classical music and nature scenery aids in reducing stress hormones, and boosts a positive mindset. Classical music in-of-itself is stress-reducing; however, combined with watching calming water scenes increases the benefits of the music, along with providing a visual juxtaposition of the fluidity of the music notes with the gentleness of water.
Frédéric Chopin, the renowned Polish composer may not have made as many public appearances as some of the other classical composers that came before, during and after him; however, his pieces still hold the test of time – considered one of the great masters of the Romantic period.
These are my pick of The Greats of Chopin!
Songs:
00:00 E Minor Prelude
04:50 Nocturne in E flat major, Op. 9 no. 2
08:56 Nocturne in B Flat Minor, Op. 9 no. 1
14:31 Nocturne in B major, Op. 9 no. 3
21:20 Minute Waltz – Waltz in D-Flat Major
23:00 Waltz in C Sharp
26:21 Heroic Polonaise
32:48 Funeral March
42:10 Waltz in A minor, B. 150
44:19 Nocturnes, Op. 32 - No. 1. Nocturne in B major
49:16 Nocturnes, Op. 32 - No. 2. Nocturne in A♭ major
54:00 Fantaisie - Impromptu, Op. 66

Movie Trivia! The Naughty Christmas Movie with Chopin's Nocturne E Minor Op 9. #shorts
It might surprise you how often classical music appears in modern film, and Chopin’s pieces are no exception. Cropping up in a range of genres to invoke certain moods, how this piece was used in this film was rather creative, although, might have dismayed Chopin if he saw it today!

Chopin, Bach and Tchaikovsky compositions have a calming effect which aids in releasing dopamine.
