We snorkeled and urbex explored an abandoned island fort in Florida! This is Fort Dade on Egmont Key, located on the edge of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Egmont key is a beautiful location for snorkeling, boating, exploring and hanging on the beach. It also is home to Egmont Key Lighthouse. We ran our boat about 8 miles to the beach on Egmont Key, I got out to snorkel around the outer ruins of the fort. I saw tropical fish, coral and ruins of the fort in the sand. Afterwards I beached the boat on the island and found the largest portion of the fort ruins. We urbex explored the abandoned ruins of the fort, found where the cannons and guns were mounted, we found the storage rooms where the shells were kept. We also explored around the Egmont Key light house that lights the way into Tampa Bay Florida. In this video we go cave exploring and freediving deep inside a Florida cave and Florida Spring. This is Gator Hole a Florida Spring that is a part of Merritt's Mill Pond in Marianna Florida. Gator hole cave and spring is not normally accessible to freediving and cave exploring, however Merritt's Mill pond has been temporarily drained lower and this has exposed Gator Hole cave and Spring. This Cave exploring and freediving in this cave was a once in a lifetime experience. I have been freediving in other Florida Springs like Ginnie Springs, Weeki Wachee, and Alexander Springs, but this is the most unique Florida Spring free dive experience I have ever had. This location is very close to Florida Caverns State Park as well. We stayed at Florida Cavers RV resort which is located on Merrit's Mill Pond. We went freediving and underwater metal detecting at Alexander Springs in Florida. While freediving and metal detecting for lost treasure we came across snakes, turtles and other animals that are native to Florida Springs. We found lost treasure while metal detecting including Jewelry, lost ring and money. Diving in Florida Springs is one of the most exciting ways to experience natural Florida. We were freediving to about 25 feet deep in Alexander springs. Alexander springs is a beautiful location and the water year round is a cool 72 degrees and crystal clear. It is an amazing place to freedive. We were using the Nokta Makro pulse dive underwater metal detector. We found alot of lost money and some lost jewelry. We went Scuba diving at the Blue Heron Bridge and got lost underwater. My buddies @Rich Aloha and @WorldofColton teamed up to go Scuba diving and take some video at the Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera beach Florida. Blue Heron Bridge is normally an incredible place to go scuba diving, snorkeling and freediving. However lately we have had a hurricane and terrible weather. So conditions at the scuba diving location were absolutely terrible. We made it out safely and were happy to be back on land after scuba diving in the soup. I was underwater metal detecting and treasure hunting when I found a guys $500 designer wallet. I was scuba diving using the Nemo by BLU3 a battery powered underwater diving system. The Nemo by BLU3 is the perfect diving system for shallow underwater treasure hunting and metal detecting. I was diving at Lake Boca, a popular party spot for boaters in South Florida. In this video I used the Nemo by BLU3 to dive at the Blue Heron Bridge Snorkel Trail in Riviera Beach Florida. Normally at the Blue Heron Bridge Snorkel Trail (Phil Foster park) I would be snorkeling, freediving or Scuba Diving, but today I have the BLU3 Nemo. The BLU3 Nemo is a battery powered hookah diving system, it uses a rechargeable battery to allow you to dive for 60 - 90 minutes at 10 feet deep. The Nemo by BLU3 is lightweight and stores compact into a backpack, it is easy to travel with and is airline friendly so it is perfect to take traveling to tropical destinations! The Nemo by BLU3 is not really a replacement for scuba diving or freediving since it only can be used down to 10 feet deep, but is an awesome for shallow snorkel locations or shallow dive locations. It is so mush easier to carry and travel with than a Scuba tank and scuba diving equipment. I was very impressed by how easy the Nemo was to setup and use and how long the battery lasted while I was diving. The Nemo has a 10 foot hose and has the innovative "Smart Reg" at the end for breathing, the Smart Reg turns the Nemo air pump on and off when you inhale. Since the Nemo only pumps when you need the air it is able to last incredibly long while you are out diving. While I was diving at the Blue Heron Bridge I saw eels, crabs, angelfish, grouper, snapper, tang and many other tropical fish. I also saw a sunken boat and beautiful coral reefs. It was an awesome dive at the Snorkeling trail. In this video we do a test of the Feiyutech G6 gimbal for the Gopro Hero 8. There is a version of the Feiyutech G6 gimbal also for the Gopro Hero 7 and 6. This Gopro gimbal makes the Hero 8 the smoothest camera out there. We do several stabilization tests with and without the Gimbal, we compare the Gopro Hypersmooth to the Gopro on a gimbal also with Hypersmooth. The results are pretty incredible. In this video I use the PowerRay underwater drone from Powervision to explore the waters underneath the Blue Heron Bridge and the Snorkel trail at Phil Foster Park. We went cave diving in the Blue Grotto in Florida. The Blue Grotto Dive Resort is a Scuba Diving destination in Williston Florida. It is located very close to the Devils Den Prehistoric Spring in Florida. Scuba Diving in the Blue Grotto is a very unique experience, it is a very easy cave to Scuba dive in, there is one way in and one way out. You do not need a cave diving certification to go Scuba Diving in the Blue Grotto. The blue Grotto is a natural freshwater spring that flows out of the ground. The blue grotto cavern is about 100 feet deep at its deepest point. It is a very unique spot among Florida's Springs. Around 30 feet deep in the cave is an airbell. The air bell is a chamber that has fresh air continuously pumped down into it. You can dive down and enter the bell and remove your scuba mask and talk! It is a very strange feeling to be deep underwater and able to talk in open air. There is also fish and turtles in the Blue Grotto. The Grotto also has docks and tables and a staging area for prepping your Scuba gear as you go in and out of the spring. We went Lobstering in South Florida for the 2020 Lobster mini season. Lobster mini season is the best time of year to catch Lobster. Lobstering in Florida is alot of fun and Florida is one of the few places in the world you can catch lobster on a Scuba tank legally. In the video I talk you through how to catch Lobster using a net and tickle stick as well as a Lobster snare. I also show you how to clean the Lobster and remove the Lobster tail from the body. We went deep into Wekiwa Springs State Park, after paddling in a canoe up the Wekiva river. We rented a canoe from Wekiva Island, we paddled up into Rock Springs run a bit then turned around and went up the Wekiva river. Along the way we saw some of the most beautful nature in Florida, turtles, fish, alligators and more. Wekiwa Springs and Wekiva River is one of the most beautiful places in Florida and definitely ranks among Florida's top springs. We went free diving in Ginnie Springs Florida. Ginnie Springs is the clearest water I have ever seen and might be the clearest place to snorkel, dive or freedive on earth! There are several separate springs at Ginnie Springs. We started our freediving in the "Little Devil" it is a spring that flows up through a 4 foot wide crack in the ground. I dove to about 50 feet at the bottom of the spring. We also saw a snake swimming nearby in the spring. Our second dive was at the "Devils Eye" it is a round spring about 25 feet deep that has an entrance to a complex underwater cave system. I did not dive into the cave as you would need a dive light and a cave diver certification to safely enter. Our third dive was at the "Devils Ear" a very unique spring. The spring is unique because it gets partially covered with the brown water from the Santa Fe River. The darker tannin stained water casts a strange colored glow onto the clear water coming out of the Devils Ear Spring. We went on to snorkel the dark water in the Santa Fe river and then on to Freedive in the Ginnie Spring itself. The Ginnie Spring is the clearest water I have ever seen! Gopro Hero 8 red filter is a good quick way to color correct your underwater videos and underwater photos. In this video I compare underwater footage between a Gopro Hero 8 and a Gopro Hero 8 with a red filter. I also compare the red filter footage to footage fixed in the Dive plus app. The Dive plus app is an incredibly easy and great way to color correct underwater videos and photos. Many underwater video enthusiasts swear by a red filter, after comparing the Gopro underwater video with red filter vs fixed in Dive plus app I am not so sure which one is better. I went cave scuba diving in Hospital Hole on the Weeki Wachee river in Florida. Hospital hole is a 130 foot deep natural underwater cavern on the Weeki Wachee river, the river is fed from Weeki Wachee Springs state park and is crystal clear cool fresh water. Scuba diving in the hole is a little scary and can be very dangerous if one is not careful. As you dive deeper into the hole the water changes clarity in differing layers. At about 75 feet deep you almost completely lose visibility. Florida has so many unique dive spots and is filled with natural beauty like the Weeki Wachee river. While I was getting ready to scuba dive the hole I met Brandon Jordan from one of my favorite Youtube channels @JigginWithJordan .
