Colleges in Chaos The Consequences of Abandoning Truth - Part 1 with Guest Dr. Everett Piper
Romans 1:25 says, “They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served the created things rather than the Creator.” In our culture today, absolute truth is being replaced by moral relativism, especially on our college campuses. Unfortunately, many young people are believing the lies wholeheartedly. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson interviews author and speaker, Dr. Everett Piper, about the consequences our culture is experiencing as many fall victim to the deception being disseminated throughout society today.

On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. Tim Clinton interviewed Eric Metaxas to discuss his latest book, Letter to the American Church. Eric stated that one of the central ideas in his book is that the Church must not remain silent. We are to stand up and fight for the suffering of human beings whenever we have the ability and the opportunity to do so. Eric stated, “When believers, out of pure fear, try to avoid politics, you’re going to allow evil forces to triumph in politics.”

Father-Father Daughter Memories with Guest Danae Dobson Memories
What are some of the earliest memories you have from your childhood? Were they learning to ride a bike or tie your shoelaces? Maybe it was a special song or playing games in the car on the way to school. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson takes a walk down memory lane with his daughter, Danae, as they also discuss what Dr. Dobson counts as the number one job we have as parents. That responsibility is to teach our children, from an early age, who Jesus is. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 declares, “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
About Today's Guest: Danae Dobson
Danae Dobson is an established author who also maintains a speaking ministry, addressing women at church-related events. Danae was born in Southern California and wrote her first children's manuscript at the age of 12. The book was entitled Woof! A Bedtime Story About A Dog. Upon its publication, she became the youngest author in the history of the renowned publishing house, Word, Inc. It's a distinction that she still holds today. In 1990, Danae received her bachelor's degree in communication from Azusa Pacific University. She has authored 24 books to date, including the popular "Woof" series. These best-selling books have sold over 400,000 copies and have also been released in the United Kingdom and Indonesia. Her other works include "Parables For Kids (co-authored with Dr. James Dobson)," the "Forest Friends" series and the "Sunny Street Kids' Club" series. Danae has also written two inspirational books for adolescent girls entitled, "Let's Talk!" and "Let's Walk the Talk!" She and her mother, Shirley Dobson, have co-authored a book on hospitality entitled, "Welcome to Our Table." She has also been a featured speaker at the Christian Booksellers Association, Hawaiian Islands Ministries, Mothers of Preschoolers, also known as “MOPS,” and numerous Christian schools. Dr. Clinton opened the program talked about the state of our culture and what has occurred over the last few years. James explained that in the midst of our culture and, “... in times of turmoil, it can wake us up to this notion that wow, the world is not really on our side. The world is trying to make us disciples of the world. They want us to be disciples of the economy. They want us to be disciples of the government and they want us to learn to live according to the rules that those systems really set up for us. Christian resistance is the term that I use to help Christians understand that we have to retain our shape in a world that is exerting pressures on us to form us into something other than Christ.”

Christian Resistance: Learning to Defy the World and Follow Jesus - Part 1 with Guest James Spencer
If your faith were a paper cup, would it be able to hold water? Or would you find that it would leak a little, or a lot? Today on Family Talk, Dr. Tim Clinton interviews James Spencer, Ph.D., to discuss his new book, "Christian Resistance: Learning to Defy the World and Follow Jesus." Listen as Dr. Spencer challenges us to examine our faith to ensure we are not losing our ability to testify for Christ in a world that tries to convert us and water down our own beliefs. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Teach Your Children Well The Lessons from the Greatest Generation - Part 2 with Guest Tom Rose
Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” On today’s edition of Family Talk, co-host Gary Bauer and his guest, Tom Rose, conclude their discussion on the imperative need to teach our children the biblical principles and values that our country was founded upon. Lest we forget that on this very day, in 1944, America and the allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy on what is known as D-Day, to preserve the freedom and liberty we all too often take for granted. We must never forget the brave and selfless soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting against an evil force who sought to conquer and control the world.

His duties entailed helping the Vice President implement the President’s “America First” agenda to keep the U.S. safe, prosperous and free. He spent two decades owning and/or managing newspapers in the U.S., U.K, Canada and Israel, including seven years as publisher and CEO of The Jerusalem Post. The Rise of Malevolent Compassion with Guest Dr. Del Tackett
Without biblical truth, there is no compass to guide us in the way we are to live. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. Del Tackett gives a moving presentation about our society and the spiritual war against God’s design—specifically, human sexuality. In a culture that wants to base facts on feelings, now is the time for Christians to “speak truth in love” to those around us.
About Today's Guest: Dr. Del Tackett
Dr. Del Tackett is the creator of the worldview curriculum, The Truth Project. He served more than 20 years as an officer in the United States Air Force. During the George H.W. Bush administration, Dr. Tackett served at the White House as director of technical planning for the National Security Council. He holds three earned degrees (D.M., Colorado Technical University; M.S., Auburn University; B.S., Kansas State University). Dr. Tackett and his wife, Melissa, have four grown children and make their home in Colorado.
