How the Church Can Reach the Millennial Generation - Part 2 with Guest Jonathan Teague
What are the best ways for the Church to engage the millennial generation? On today’s Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson continues his interview with Pastor Jonathan Teague. They examine young adults and their disconnect with the concept of absolute truth. Jonathan has plenty of experience in dealing with this issue as a young adult minister who hears from restless students, post grads, newlyweds, and young professionals as part of the pastoral care he provides at Prestonwood Baptist Church in the Dallas area. He emphasizes why mature believers must disciple millennials, even when it's uncomfortable to do so. 1 Timothy 4:12 declares, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
About Today's Guest: Jonathan Teague
Jonathan Teague is the senior associate pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church, based in Plano, Texas. He also serves as the minister to married adults. Jonathan grew up a pastor's kid, and felt a call to full-time ministry at the age of 16. He received his bachelor's degree in speech communication and leadership from Hardin-Simmons University, and earned a master’s degree in Christian education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds a doctorate in educational ministry with an emphasis on leadership from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jonathan and his wife, Michelle, have five children.

Saving Aziz How the Mission to Help One Became a Calling to Rescue Thousands with Chad Robichaux
According to American warrior and retired serviceman, Chad Robichaux, “When God burdens our hearts to help His people, you don’t have a choice, you have to be obedient to what God is calling you to do!” On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. Tim Clinton interviews Chad, a proud former Marine, and his Afghan interpreter, Aziz, to discuss the unique calling the Lord placed in both of their lives. In 2021, when the U.S. government announced that their military would be withdrawing from Afghanistan, Chad knew that he had to return and rescue Aziz and his family. What Chad did not know at that time was that the mission to save Aziz was going to be so much bigger than anything he could have imagined.

Saving Aziz: How the Mission to Help One Became a Calling to Rescue Thousands
On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. Tim Clinton interviewed Chad Robichaux and his Afghan interpreter, Azizullah Aziz, prior to the Men’s Ignite Weekend at Thomas Road Baptist Church in March 2023. Dr. Clinton asked, “Chad, What’s in your heart? What are you going to share with these men tonight?” Chad replied, “I’m so excited for this, I love anytime to see men choosing to come to something like this to get together and be invested in one another. For me, I’m excited to be able to share the challenges and struggles out of my life and to make an impact in the world. I say that humbly, as God calls all of us, especially us men to make impacts in our homes, communities and this world, we have to be obedient to those callings and be mindful of them and have the courage to step out and serve.”
About Today's Guests:
Chad Robichaux (pronounced Ro-ba-show) is a highly decorated former U.S. Marine and Department of Defense contractor with eight deployments to Afghanistan as part of a Joint Special Operations Command Task Force. After overcoming his personal battles with PTSD and nearly becoming a veteran suicide statistic, Chad founded the Mighty Oaks Foundation, a non-profit serving the active duty, military veteran, and first responder communities around the world with faith-based combat trauma and resiliency programs. He is also the co-founder of Save Our Allies, a non-profit organization that focuses on the evacuation and recovery of Americans, our allies, and vulnerable people trapped in Afghanistan. Chad is a best-selling author and has written a number of books related to veteran care and overcoming life’s challenges. In addition to Chad’s military service, he has served our nation as a special agent with the U.S. Federal Air Marshal Service and the U.S. State Department as a surveillance detection senior program manager. Chad is a Medal of Valor recipient for his bravery beyond the call of duty in law enforcement. He has earned an MBA from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), and is a board-certified pastoral counselor with a focus on PTSD. Chad is married to Kathy, and they have one daughter, two sons and two granddaughters.
Azizullah (pronounced Ah-ze-zu-la) Aziz is an Afghan native who served as a combat interpreter and facilitator for a United States Special Operations unit in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, 2001-2021. He became a highly sought after interpreter within the special operations community and was selected to serve as part of the premiere Joint Special Operations Command for nearly a decade. During his time as a combat interpreter, Aziz served side-by-side with Chad Robichaux during Chad’s eight deployments, ultimately saving his life several times as well as the lives of many other servicemen around them. Aziz chose to work with the U.S. military because he had hopes for his beloved Afghanistan and countrymen. He wanted his children to grow up with the opportunities that freedom provides. However, following the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, Aziz and his family faced persecution. The U.S. departure sparked a multinational coalition led by Chad Robichaux to rescue Aziz and his family. After many months, they are now on American soil. As Aziz starts his new life as a Texan, he serves as the cultural advisor for Mighty Oaks International. He and his wife have six children.

Remaining You While Raising Them - Part 1 with Guest Alli Worthington
On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. Tim Clinton interviewed Alli Worthington at the Extraordinary Women Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Alli was a featured guest speaker. Dr. Clinton stated, “Alli, you have quite a story. God's put you in a place now where you're speaking across the country in front of a lot of audiences. You get to hear a lot of stories. What are you hearing primarily from women out on the frontline?” Alli remarked, “Women are worn down, really worn down from the last few years.” Dr. Clinton replied, “I just walked out on stage a few minutes ago and shared a piece from Dr. Dobson's heart. He said, ‘Tim, let them know that we see them, Shirley and I see them, and that they're loved and appreciated.’ I think in his heart, and I know he has been a champion from moms in particular saying, ‘Listen, what you do doesn't go unnoticed. It is everything.’” Dr. Clinton then said, “I want to introduce you a little bit more to our audience. Share a little bit about your upbringing, what kind of shaped that character and that fire that's inside of you.”
