Finding the Purpose - Kyle, Gracie and Noah
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Everyone’s looking for a purpose in life—and sadly, a lot of people aren’t finding one. Is there no deeper meaning to be found, or are they just looking in the wrong places?
This week Kevin talks with several of his high school students about the question of purpose. According to the CDC, suicide is the second leading cause of death among Americans aged 15-34. If life has no point, it makes sense that many would not choose to go on living. But what is causing the young people of this nation have such an increasingly bleak outlook? Kevin’s students weigh in on the issue, sharing their firsthand knowledge of the crisis their generation faces.
People pursue all sorts of self-centered goals as their purpose, but in the end it’s always misguided. Odds are you won’t be able to achieve the level of money, fame and power that you desire—and even if you do, you’ll only end up feeling empty. Actor Jim Carrey once commented, “I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it’s not the answer.” Three thousand years ago, King Solomon said basically the same thing: “…whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them. I kept my heart from no pleasure… Then I considered all that my hands had done and the toil I had expended in doing it, and behold, all was vanity and a striving after wind…” (Ecclesiastes 2:10-11)
If self-gratification isn’t our purpose as humans, then what is? The only one qualified to tell us this is the one who created us in the first place. Fortunately, our Creator has done just that through His Word—but is this current generation willing to listen? Who will give them the news?
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” —Matthew 6:33

Evolution: Genetically Impossible - Dr. Jeffrey Tomkins
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Scientific advancement is making it harder and harder to believe in evolution. Kevin’s guest this week is Dr. Jeffrey Tomkins, Research Associate in the field of Genetics at the Institute for Creation Research. Dr. Tomkins is a living refutation of a common evolutionary claim, which states that the only reason anyone believes Creationism is because they were raised in it by their parents. Dr. Tomkins was in fact indoctrinated from a young age—but into evolution, not creation. He became a born-again Christian while in college, and realized he would have to reconcile his spiritual beliefs with his scientific ones. After recognizing quickly that attempts to reconcile biblical teachings with evolution are futile, he read Scientific Creationism by Dr. Henry Morris and saw how well it harmonized scientific findings with the Bible. As Dr. Tomkins continued his academic career (going on to earn a Ph.D. in genetics), everything he learned confirmed his biblical beliefs rather than contradicting them. In 2009 he joined up with ICR, one of the world’s foremost Creationist research organizations.
Kevin and Dr. Tomkins discuss evidence from the field of genetics that supports belief in God and the Bible. This includes “mitochondrial Eve,” the female ancestor to modern humans implied by mitochondrial DNA, who is thought to have lived only 5-7,000 years ago. Similarly, studies of the protein-coding “exome regions” of the human genome have provided a timeframe of only about 5-10,000 years. Ultimately, as the field of genetics advances scientists are realizing that a) the human genome is unfathomably complex, b) it is continually deteriorating rather than improving, and c) there is no possible unintelligent evolutionary mechanism that can explain its origin. This branch of biology provides even more reason to believe that God, not evolution, is our Creator.
“The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all the living.” —Genesis 3:20

Science and the Bible: Best Friends Forever
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Do you really have to turn off your brain to believe the Bible? It is a common myth that science and the Bible have always been in conflict, and the case of Galileo is often cited as proof. But not only is Galileo’s story misinterpreted to fit this agenda (see below for an explanation); there are numerous examples of the Bible being surprisingly consistent with, or even ahead of, scientific knowledge. In this episode, Kevin goes over some of these examples to show that in reality, science the Bible are best friends forever.
What accurate scientific information can be found in the Bible? For one, it acknowledges that the earth is resting on nothing (Job 26:7; yes it is supported by the invisible force of gravity, but it is not held up by any physical object). It states that the heavens are stretching out (Psalm 104:2 among others, in line with the expansion of the universe), and that all of creation is wearing out and will one day pass away (Psalm 102:25-27, in line with the laws of thermodynamics). The Bible has also recognized significant medical principles, such as the fact that “the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11; contrary to the once-scientific practice of bloodletting), the importance of washing the body and the hands (Leviticus 14:8-9 and others), and the practice of quarantining those with infectious diseases (Leviticus 13).
As Kevin demonstrates throughout the episode, Christians do not have to worry about whether science or the Bible is true; the Bible has repeatedly been vindicated, once science catches up to it.

The Riddle of Origins - Mike Riddle
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
As Christians, we believe that God created us. Does it really matter how he did it? This week Kevin talks to Mike Riddle, founder, and president of the Creation Training Initiative, who has been involved in creation ministry for over 30 years. As someone who grew up in a non-Christian home and accepted the theory of evolution from a young age, Mike brings a unique perspective to creationism. In this episode, he explains why both the Bible and logic tell us that evolution is not an adequate view of origins. He talks about why a Christian's view of Genesis matters, and addresses some common objections to creation science.
In his early education, Mike was taught that evolution was the only theory around, and didn't think to question it. It wasn't until his adulthood, while he was serving in the marines, that a stranger planted the seed that would transform his life. One day while Mike was at the gym, another marine approached him out of the blue and shared the gospel. Mike didn't listen to a word of what the man was trying to tell him... or so he thought. Seven years later, alone in a hotel room, the gospel message hit Mike in a powerful way (even though no one else had shared it with him since that day). He got saved the same night and instantly wanted to know what God teaches about our origins in the Bible.
That night started Mike down a long road of studying Biblical origins and questioning evolution, which eventually led him to found the Creation Training Initiative. This ministry exists to train believers in creation apologetics so that they can effectively share the truth with others and refute evolutionary misinformation. In addition to the dozens of free resources on their website, CreationTraining.org, CTI is hosting the week-long intensive Creation Apologetics Teachers College in Ridgecrest, NC, from August 1-6 (click here for more info). This training event is no walk in the park, but it can turn a lay person into an expert on creation. Space is limited, so sign up soon!

Can Marriage Beat Porn Addiction? - Tony and Alisa DiLorenzo
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
It’s not easy to keep a marriage healthy and vibrant for the long term, as anyone who has tried it can attest. There are so many things that can come between two spouses, like careers, overbooked schedules, family obligations… and pornography. Porn is a multi-billion dollar industry (more profitable than all the major league sports in the US), and it affects countless individuals, couples and families. There is a lot of misinformation about pornography: that it can be consumed without a negative impact, that it is not a real addiction, and that it does not harm marriages (and can even help them). But in reality, porn usage by either partner in a marriage causes them to find sexual fulfillment somewhere other than their spouse, and this has grave consequences. It drives a wedge between the two people, dissolving intimacy, communication, and trust. Often this damage is never undone: porn is a major factor in over half of divorces.
Kevin’s guests are Tony and Alisa DiLorenzo, creators of One Extraordinary Marriage (the number one marriage podcast on iTunes). Over 9 years ago, Tony admitted to Alisa that he had been addicted to pornography for 18 years. Rather than ending their marriage, this admission started them on a journey of restoring intimacy and trust, by removing all the things that had been getting in the way (including porn). Though the road was hard, their marriage became much stronger after than it was before. Now Tony and Alisa use their podcast and website (OneExtraordinaryMarriage.com) to help other couples work through struggles and restore/strengthen their intimacy. Tony and Alisa have resolved not to shy away from addressing the more personal or unpleasant struggles that come with marriage, including those relating to sex and pornography. Their hope is that the work they do can help millions of couples overcome hurdles like they did — one marriage at a time.

Human Trafficking in San Diego - D.A. Summer Stephan and Dr. Jamie Gates
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
In a previous show, Kevin took a look at the Bible's perspectives on slavery, which were written between 4500 and 2000 years ago. This time he addresses an incarnation of slavery that plagues the modern world, including our own communities and schools in the US: human trafficking.
Human trafficking can be defined as "the deprivation of a human being's liberty for the purpose of sexual exploitation or labor exploitation." Traffickers identify vulnerable people and gain control of them through physical force, fraud, or psychological coercion in order to use them for profit through commercial labor or sex acts. This ranges from forcing them to do excessive physical work for little or no pay, to making them participate in pornography or even prostitution against their will.
Kevin's guests are Chief Deputy District Attorney Summer Stephan and PLNU professor Dr. Jamie Gates. Both have been involved in efforts to end human trafficking for many years: Summer through the District Attorney's office and Jamie through his organization Churches Against Trafficking. They talk with Kevin about the causes of this problem, how to raise awareness and fight against it, and what warning signs to look for in order to recognize both perpetrators and victims.

Seeking the Messiah - Rabbi Joel Liberman
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
This week Kevin talks with Rabbi Joel Liberman, who in one important respect is different from most rabbis: he recognizes Jesus Christ as the Messiah whom God sent for the Jews and the world. Joel is a prominent member of the Messianic Jewish movement, and has been a part of it for the past 28 years. He has held leadership positions in multiple Messianic organizations (such as the MJAA and IMJA), has written multiple Bible commentaries from that perspective, and is the leader of a Messianic Congregation.
Kevin and Joel talk about a variety of topics related to Messianic Judaism, from its roots in the New Testament to the current issues faced by modern-day Israel. Joel explains what is at stake for Jews who turn to Jesus, as well as why and how Messianic Jews honor their heritage during their Saturday congregational meetings. They also discuss the Old Testament prophecies that reveal Jesus to be the true Messiah—some of which are no longer even read in Jewish synagogues. Joel makes a powerful case that all people, whether Jew or Gentile, must turn to the Messiah of God and be saved.
Rabbi Joel Liberman’s congregation meets Saturdays at 10 AM. Visit their website at TreeofLifeCA.org.

Hollywood Christians - Dr. Larry Poland
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
A great ideological chasm exists between the godlessness of Hollywood and the convictions of Christianity. How can believers bridge that gap to make a difference in the entertainment industry? Kevin talks with Dr. Larry Poland, who has had the rare privilege of ministering directly to the industry’s top executives for over 30 years. From his extensive experience, Dr. Poland shares what what works and what doesn’t when it comes to Christians expressing their concerns about movies and television.
Dr. Poland explains that anger-fueled protests are just what the industry leaders expect from the Christian community—and it doesn’t phase them. Rather than inspire them to take the feelings of millions of Christian consumers into consideration, this type of reaction only confirms their belief that Christians are generally irrational, hateful people. But there is one response that does make a difference: unconditional love. As Dr. Poland states, this is the offense for which there is no defense. The entertainment industry is led by powerful people who have a great influence on society, but they are ultimately human beings who need to be reached with the love of Jesus Christ just as much as anyone else. You can learn more about Dr. Poland’s perspectives on this critical issue at his website, MasterMediaIntl.org, and in his recent book Chasm: Crossing the Divide Between Hollywood and People of Faith.

As Young as the Dinosaurs - Mark Armitage
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
This week Kevin talks to Christian microscopist Mark Armitage. After discovering unfossilized dinosaur tissues, Armitage was suspiciously dismissed from his position as Manager for the Electron and Confocal Microscopy Suite at California State University, Northridge. His scientific resume is impressive: Armitage has a BS in education, an MS in biology, and an Ed.S. in science education. He has contributed micrographs and scholarly articles to scientific journals, and has taught at both Azusa Pacific University and CSUN. Armitage contends that he was terminated not for his performance, but for his religious views, and is in the process of suing for wrongful termination.
What’s the big deal about soft dinosaur tissues? The scientific establishment knows what is at stake with this issue, which is why other scientists (such as Mary Schweitzer) have offered feeble attempts to explain it away. As Armitage puts it, “If these fossils, these bones scattered across the earth are full of soft tissues, then they have to be young. And if they’re young, the deposits that they’re found in are young. And if the deposits are young, then the earth is young. And if the earth is young, suddenly Genesis becomes a believable account of real history, and that’s what the evolutionists are fearing.” Kevin and Mark talk about the scientific implications of these discoveries, and why they are significant to the gospel.
Find out what Mark is up to at his blog, facebook, and youtube pages. You can also look at his personal facebook and youtube accounts. Consider supporting his GoFundMe campaign to help him run his personal microscopy lab, so that he can continue to research soft dinosaur tissues.

Kevin Presents Young-Earth Creationsim to Atheists
This video is of a presentation that Kevin Conover made to the San Diego New Atheists and Agnostics in May 2012. He discusses intelligent design and the human genome, and specifically a) what intelligent design is, b) how we identify intelligent causation, and c) how evidence from the human genome supports young-earth creationism. There is also a Q&A session at the end.
Kevin invited John V., the speaker who introduces him in this video, to three of his apologetics classes to share his views on evolution, and John was gracious enough to set up this event for Kevin to share his views with John's group. There were about 30 atheists and agnostics in attendance.

Recent statistics have shown that approximately 70-80% of Christian teens are no longer practicing Christianity after leaving high school. It IS NOT because the Bible is false, it's because teens are not being provided the rational evidence that is available to answer the hard questions that come up in a society that is unaware and often uninterested in the facts that overwhelmingly support the truth of the Bible.

God is in your DNA
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Back in June 2008, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal signed the Louisiana Science Education Act into law, allowing public school science teachers to include information about Creationism in their lessons. In May 2015, he announced that he was launching an exploratory committee to determine whether he will be making a bid for the presidency in 2016. According to one Slate writer, the connection between these two events is clear: though Governor Jindal majored in biology at Brown University (and therefore knows better), he decided to abandon real science and embrace Creationism to gain support from conservatives and advance his political career.
To many people, it’s as simple as that: if you aren’t stupid or ignorant enough to actually fall for Creationism (which Governor Jindal can’t be, given his education), then you must only be pretending to believe it due to ulterior motives. But is it possible that a person’s decision to move from evolution to Creationism could be an intellectually honest one, based on sound evidence? That’s exactly what happened to Dr. John C. Sanford, PhD geneticist and Cornell University professor, who rejected evolution after spending decades at the top of his field. He reasons for doing so are detailed in his excellent book Genetic Entropy. This week Kevin takes a look at the inescapable genetic evidence for Creationism as explained by Dr. Sanford. If Creationists are the dogmatic ones, why do proponents of evolution go to such great lengths to prevent alternate ideas from getting any public hearing?

Fired for Faith - Jeremy Tedesco
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
In this episode Kevin talks with Jeremy Tedesco, Esq., a senior legal council for Alliance Defending Freedom who is currently representing Kelvin Cochran. In the United States of America in the 21st century, is it possible for a qualified individual to be fired from his job solely on the basis of his religious beliefs? We would all like to think that the answer is no, but this seems to be exactly what happened to Kelvin Cochran, former fire chief of Atlanta, GA.
After having achieved the highest possible position for a fireman in 2009 (US Fire Administrator), and being named Fire Chief of the Year in 2012, Cochran was dismissed from his position in Atlanta in 2014. Why? For writing and self-publishing a devotional, completely separate from his job as fire chief, which stated his Christian perspective on marriage and sexuality. When the devotional was first brought to public attention, Cochran was suspended without pay, and an investigation revealed that he had not treated anyone unfairly on the basis of their sexuality. Yet he was still fired, because of his beliefs rather than his actions. How could he be treated in a manner so completely contrary to America’s principles of freedom? The truth is that as society’s esteem for religion (specifically Christianity) diminishes, attacks on religious freedom increase. Can our First Amendment rights be defended, or will they soon be a happy memory? Learn more about Kelvin Cochran’s case at AllianceDefendingFreedom.org, and consider contributing to this fine organization as it fights to defend your rights!

End the Genocide! - Mark Arabo

Kevin talks with humanitarian Mark Arabo, who has been working tirelessly to garner US support for the Chaldean Christian community as they face the threat of ISIS. Arabo tells the sad tale of 150,000 displaced Christians (including 90,000 children), driven from their homes by violence. They have been forced to live in the desert without basic necessities, and last year over 12,500 people died in these conditions.
The Chaldeans are the oldest group of Christians, their heritage going all the way back to the patriarch Abraham (from Ur of the Chaldeans). They have long practiced Catholicism, refusing to give up their faith despite being surrounded by hostile Islamic groups. With the rise of ISIS they face a greater threat than ever before, and they are in desperate need of support from the global Christian community.
Arabo discusses what has already been accomplished to put an end to this ongoing genocide, and the great amount of work that still needs to be done. Visit his website, EndTheGenocide.com, to find out what you can do to help your brothers in Christ.

Biblical History: Digging Up The Truth - Dr. Scott Stripling
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Are the stories recorded in the Bible real history, or just mythology? There’s only one way to know for sure: through biblical archaeology. This week Kevin talks with archaeologist Dr. Scott Stripling of the Associates for Biblical Research, author of The Trowel and the Truth.
Dr. Stripling grew up in a Christian home, hearing the stories of the Bible from his mother. He became an avid Bible reader in his teen years, but was perplexed by the huge cultural divide between the biblical text and modern day readers such as himself. His desire to better understand the historical context of the Bible led him to study archaeology, and he went on to earn his Doctorate in Ministry with an emphasis in Ancient Near Eastern archaeology.
Today Dr. Stripling is the director of ABR’s excavation in Khirbet el-Maqatir, located 9 miles north of Jerusalem in the disputed territory of Security Zone C. Though excavation only takes place five weeks out of the year, his team has made many discoveries that verify biblical history. Dr. Stripling tells Kevin about some of the most significant of these finds, such as an Egyptian scarab that helps to verify biblical accounts of Israel’s exodus and the conquest of Canaan.
Christianity is not a religion of mythology and blind faith; biblical events really happened, and the evidence is out there. Some of it still needs to be unearthed, and the Associates for Biblical Research are doing just that. You can support their archeological mission to show the truth of the Bible at BibleArchaeology.org, and even volunteer to participate in a dig yourself!

Aliens: Scientific or Spiritual? - Gary Bates
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
According to NOVA, 20 million Americans claim to have seen a UFO, and 4 million claim to have been abducted! Are they all just liars (or insane)? How can Bible-believing Christians make sense of these claims? Kevin talks with Gary Bates, author of the Amazon best-seller Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection. Bates is also the CEO of Creation Ministries International, one of the world’s leading creationist organizations.
Kevin and Gary begin the discussion by talking about their own reasons for believing in creation over evolution, from the complex biological information in DNA, to the rapid formation of geologic strata through catastrophic events. Gary explains how the modern belief in alien life forms owes its existence to evolutionary theory: if the universe is 14 billion years old, and unguided evolutionary processes produced intelligent life here on Earth, then surely intelligent life evolved in other parts of the universe as well.
But even if belief in aliens is based on faulty evolutionary assumptions, it is clear that the millions of people who claim to have encountered them are seeing and experiencing something. And what’s more, throughout history there have been records of humans having interactions with otherworldly beings acknowledged by the culture of their day (such as faeries in the 1800s). Could it be that these sorts of encounters are actually instances of spiritual warfare, and that spiritual forces are now using “aliens” to infiltrate today’s scientific culture? Alien researchers provided further support for this perspective when they identified one particular group of people that seems to be immune to alien abduction: born-again Christians.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” —Ephesians 6:12

Easter with a Skeptic - Dr. Sean McDowell
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Kevin continues the discussion on the resurrection of Jesus, this time with two guests from opposing positions: Christian apologist Dr. Sean McDowell and atheist Sean Taylor.
Sean McDowell grew up in the home of eminent Christian apologist and author Joshua McDowell. As a young adult he began to explore religious questions for himself to come to his own answer. He is currently a professor at Biola University. Sean Taylor grew up in a non-religious home, and despite extensive exposure to Christian and Mormon ideas as a young man, never came to belief in any god. He currently identifies as an atheist, but has not done any personal research into the life of Jesus Christ.
Kevin moderates as Taylor states his concerns about the biblical account, and Dr. McDowell answers with historical evidence. They discuss issues from the variations in gospel accounts to the reliability of Jesus' reported appearances. Even if it is established that Jesus was real, is there any way of connecting the historical person to the supernatural claims? As Dr. McDowell shows, the evidence says yes.

Evidence For Easter - Dr. Clay Jones
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
How is it that one man—who possessed no political power, conquered no cities, and was publicly executed as a criminal—founded the largest and most persistent movement the world has ever seen? It all goes back to what happened on one fateful day: Easter Sunday. This week Kevin talks to Dr. Clay Jones, professor of Christian Apologetics at Biola University.
Having grown up with an atheist father and an occultist mother, Dr. Jones knows well that religious beliefs cannot just be based on feelings. All religions make truth claims, and it is important to evaluate such claims in light of actual facts. Can the resurrection of Jesus Christ hold up to such an evaluation? What about the people who say that Jesus never even existed? Isn’t it more likely that the disciples hallucinated about seeing the risen Jesus than it is that he actually raised? Kevin and Dr. Jones answer these questions and others using historical data.
“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.” –1 Corinthians 15:14 (NIV)

No God, No Science - Dr. Jason Lisle
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Kevin talks to astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lisle, not just about evidence for biblical creation, but about the even more foundational issue of worldview. Dr. Lisle explains that those who reject God have a bigger problem than evidence: they don’t even have a viable framework in which to interpret the evidence correctly. All of the knowledge modern people take for granted, from the laws of logic to the advances of science, are based on assumptions that are only valid in a theistic universe: that all of reality is consistent, that the future will be like the past, etc.
Dr. Lisle admits that all people, himself included, have problems to deal with in their worldview—but having good reasons for the worldview itself is key. In the final segment, Kevin and Dr. Lisle talk about specific evidence that fits within the worldview of biblical creation, but cannot be reconciled with the prevailing secular view: from the decay of Earth’s magnetic field, to the moon’s increasing distance from the earth, to the faint young sun paradox.

Why would God care if you're gay?

What, if anything, does the Bible have to say about homosexuality?
On April 28th, the Supreme Court will hear arguments regarding the ability of individual states to prohibit same-sex marriage. It may surprise you to learn that until 1961, long before the possibility of legally-recognized homosexual marriage was imagined, homosexual practice was prohibited by law in every state. And it was not until 2003 that the Supreme Court struck down all laws against homosexuality nationwide.
Needless to say, American’s views on homosexuality are rapidly changing. While a few decades ago it was only considered acceptable by a small minority, it is becoming the case that any negative view of homosexuality is equated with racism. This cultural climate puts biblically-based Christians in a tough position. Does the Bible really teach that homosexuality is wrong, and if so, why? Is it just some outdated, arbitrary rule (like “don’t wear a garment made of two different fabrics”), or are there valid reasons why God would warn mankind against this lifestyle? In this episode Kevin takes a look at both Old and New Testament verses that deal with this issue. He also shares statistical data that discredit the popular idea that the homosexual lifestyle holds no dangers—data our culture chooses to suppress in the name of “tolerance” rather than face head-on.
“Then he said to them, ‘The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.'” –Mark 2:27

Same-sex Parenting - Dawn Stefanowicz
Join our team, get educated, make a difference. http://join.educateforlife.org
Kevin talks with Dawn Stefanowicz, who shares her story of growing up in Canada with heavy exposure to the male homosexual lifestyle. When Dawn was still an infant, her father brought a homosexual partner to live in their home for the first time. Throughout her childhood she was introduced to other young men involved with her father, including minors and some who later committed suicide. Dawn was taken to places that no child should be exposed to, such as gay nude beaches and "sex shops." Dawn's father died from AIDS in 1991, and his last living partner died from AIDS in 1996.
Dawn was not comfortable with what she saw and experienced, but felt that she had no voice to speak her concerns until her late 20s. It was at this point in her life that she found healing through Christian counseling, and realized that she should speak out. She began to testify about the homosexual lifestyle in court cases regarding issues such as hate crime legislation, and wrote a book about her childhood. Since going public with her story, Dawn has been contacted by dozens of others raised by a homosexual parent and has found that her own experience was not unique.
Kevin and Dawn discuss many key issues in the current debate over sexuality, such as gender identity formation, transgenderism, same-sex marriage, freedom of speech/"hate speech", and same-sex parenting. They consider how the church can offer love and support to those who struggle with their sexuality, while also upholding the ideal pattern that God has provided for human relationships and families.
