What is the Biblical Significance of the Deep State? - Alex Newman
The Deep State. Some say it is a conspiracy theory, while others fully believe in its existence. It’s hard to cut through the noise and determine what is fact and what is fiction. So is anything having to do with the deep state fact? What significance if anything does it have? Does the Bible have anything to say about it?
Today on Educate For Life, Kevin has as his guest Alex Newman. Alex Newman is an award-winning international journalist, educator, author, and consultant. Alex has written for a wide array of publications in the United States and abroad. He currently serves as a contributor to The Epoch Times, WND (World Net Daily), FreedomProject Media, The New American magazine, the Law Enforcement Intelligence Brief, and more.
Alex Newman has studied the Deep State for over 12 years. He has delved into the history and facts of the Deep State, a group of politicians, bureaucrats, and other government officials that use their influence and power to enact policies to gain even more influence and power. Alex sees a biblical connection when it comes to prophecies concerning the End Times and the governmental system of the Antichrist.

Contested Bones: Examining the Missing Link - Christopher Rupe
When “Lucy” was discovered, it was widely touted as a “missing link”. According to Evolution, the human species evolved from an ape-like ancestor about 6 million years ago. Lucy’s discovery was evidence that the evolutionary ape-to-man theory is scientifically correct. However, the validity of this missing link is now in question. Many other so-called missing links are also questionable or have been outright debunked. So are there any real missing links?
Today on Educate For Life, Kevin is talking with Christopher Rupe who co-authored the book “Contested Bones”. Chris Rupe is a biologist and graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2009. Since 2011 Chris has been a Research Associate at FMS Foundation. Chris has researched a broad range of biological topics—ranging from the origin of life, to bacterial evolution, to whale evolution, to the famous riddle of “Haldane’s Dilemma.” Chris has published numerous articles on these topics.
For the last 5 years, Chris has been researching human evolution and the hominin fossil record. Chris has been studying paleoanthropology in depth—which has required the study of hundreds of technical papers and dozens of related books. Contested Bones is the result of more than four years of intense research into the primary scientific literature concerning those bones that are thought to represent transitional forms between ape and man. This book’s title reflects the surprising reality that all the famous “hominin” bones continue to be fiercely contested today—even within the field of paleoanthropology.
This work is unique in that it is the most comprehensive, systematic, and up-to-date book available that critically examines the major claims about the various hominin fossils. Even though the topic is technical, the book is accessible for a broad audience and is reported to be engaging even for nontechnical people.
Chris Rupe is also working on a documentary called “Dismantled: A Scientific Deconstruction of the Theory of Evolution. It is premiering October 9-11. Find out more at https://www.back2genesis.org/. What is Critical Race Theory? - Dr. Joe Miller
Critical Race Theory, or CRT, is a theoretical and interpretive mode that examines the appearance of race and racism across dominant cultural modes of expression. In adopting this approach, CRT scholars attempt to understand how victims of systemic racism are affected by cultural perceptions of race and how they are able to represent themselves to counter prejudice.
So how does Critical Race Theory work in the real world? How does it compare to a worldview like the Christian worldview? Today on Educate For Life, Kevin has as his guest, Dr. Joe Miller. He has almost a decade of experience as a teacher and administrator in Christian higher education. He has a diverse educational background and 20+ years of pastoral experience. He has authored multiple books and journal articles on topics such as church construction, leadership, history, and biblical theology.
Understanding Critical Race Theory is crucial to understanding current events in the United States and around the world. According to CRT, only the minority truly understands the nature of race and oppression. The systems in place are forms of oppression and must be overthrown because they are inherently racist. Even the use of logic is a form of oppression.

Is Biblical Illiteracy the Church’s Biggest Problem - Kay Arthur
A 2016 LifeWay Research study found 1 in 5 Americans said they had read all of the Bible at least once. However, more than half said they have read little or none of it. “Churchgoers are ready to defend the Bible as true and as a faithful moral standard,” said Scott McConnell, executive director of LifeWay Research. “But most admit they stumble on understanding the specific meaning as they read.” So, how can you study the Bible effectively and gain understanding?
Today on Educate For Life, Kevin has as his guest Kay Arthur. Kay Lee Arthur (born November 11, 1933) is an international Bible teacher, four-time ECPA Christian Book Award-winning author, and co-founder of Precept Ministries International. Kay teaches inductive Bible study and has authored many inductive Bible study workbooks. The Inductive method of studying the Bible is a set of steps to follow to "mine" the details of the given book under study.
Kay Arthur’s exciting, practical approach to studying the Bible has helped millions of people discover the truth of God’s Word for themselves over the past five decades. Tune in to hear more about effective ways to study the Bible and learn about Kay’s own journey to faith. To find out more, check out https://www.precept.org/

If everyone came from Adam and Eve, why are there different races?
Some people think the different "races" of humans are evidence for evolution, not creation. In reality, the ONE human race is explained perfectly by Biblical Creation, and supported by GOOD science—not Darwinian Evolution.
I teach an entire class series on Creation vs. Evolution. One of the classes is about the consequences of teaching false ideas like evolution (there are a lot). Check it out here: https://educateforlife.org/109preview

Hawk Nelson Singer Rejects God
Jon Steingard, the frontman of Christian rock group Hawk Nelson, has revealed that “he no longer believes in God” after spending his life as a devout Christian.
The Canadian musician went public with the revelation last week in a lengthy Instagram post admitting that he’d “been terrified” for a long time about being “transparent” with his fans about losing faith in his religion.
Today on Educate For Life, Kevin will tackle the questions that caused Jon Steingard to lose his faith. Why does God inflict pain on Job just to win a bet with Satan? Why does God order the Israelites to kill all the Canaanites? Isn’t that genocide? How could God ask Abraham to kill his son?
These are questions that many have and there are very good, logical answers. Tune in for the best episode yet and learn the answers you need to know.

The world is blind...then one boy is born with sight.
Nestled in a mountain haven, the remaining people of the world live in a village that is ordinary but strict. A severe peace must be kept severely, as they say. It's all that keeps them from descending into the chaos that claimed the world a hundred years ago.
Led by the Prophet Valdas and his Regents, the villagers work, play, marry, and have families. They gather in a ceremony once a year to celebrate their Day of Remembrance. Life is planned, precise, and predictable until the special abilities of eleven-year-old Andrius threaten to undermine it all.

Does the Soul Exist? - Eric Hernandez
Soul, in religion and philosophy, the immaterial aspect or essence of a human being, that which confers individuality and humanity, often considered to be synonymous with the mind or the self. In theology, the soul is further defined as that part of the individual which partakes of divinity and often is considered to survive the death of the body.
But how do we tell that the soul exists? Are we purely physical beings or is there some immaterial force that makes us who we are independent of our physical being? Today on Educate For Life to debate the existence of the soul, Kevin has as his guest, Eric Hernandez.
Eric Hernandez is a dynamic evangelist and apologist with a heart for proclaiming the gospel and defending his faith on theological and philosophical grounds. He is a licensed minister, certified formation therapist, and the Apologetics Lead for The Baptist General Convention of Texas. Eric is well respected and sought after for his evangelistic messages, expository ability, and insight into apologetics.
He has spoken and debated on a public level at university and college campuses where he adamantly and adequately defends the Christian faith against atheist, agnostic, and deistic professors of different worldviews. He holds an associate degree in social science, a bachelor's degree in theology, a certificate in apologetics from Biola University, and is currently enrolled at Dallas Baptist University. He is the founder of Eric Hernandez Ministries which encompasses speaking engagements, apologetic seminars, training courses, and debates. He is married to Kendall Hernandez, and the two are the proud parents of Adyson Grace and Hudson Ryan.

Are You a Harvester or Gardener? - Greg Koukl
Today on Educate For Life, Kevin interviews Greg Koukl. Greg started out thinking he was too smart to become a Christian and ended up giving his life for the defense of the Christian faith. A central theme of Greg's speaking and writing is that Christianity—if it's properly understood and properly communicated—makes the most sense of the world as we find it.
Greg is the author of Tactics: A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions. In a world increasingly indifferent to Christian truth, followers of Christ need to be equipped to communicate with those who do not speak their language or accept their source of authority. In Tactics, 10th Anniversary Edition, Gregory Koukl demonstrates how to artfully regain control of conversations, keeping them moving forward in constructive ways through thoughtful diplomacy. You'll learn how to stop challengers in their tracks and how to turn the tables on questions or provocative statements. Most important, you'll learn how to get people thinking about Jesus. Tactics provide the game plan for communicating the compelling truth about Christianity with confidence and grace.

At the age of 13 as a rising surf star, Bethany lost her left arm to a 14-foot tiger shark, which seemed to end her dream career. However, one month after the attack, Bethany returned to surfing and within two years had won her first national surfing title.
Bethany’s foundation of faith has been her backbone; her source of truth, hope, and strength. At 17 years old, she realized her dream of surfing professionally and she is still an active surf competitor to this day. Bethany has been able to touch a large number of people with her faith message, charitable efforts, and overall spirit. Her greatest joy is being a wife and mother, and she continues to touch and inspire lives globally as a professional surfer, author, and motivational speaker. She currently has her own blog and online course on helping others become unstoppable.

Consistency gets results
Last Saturday I was down at Mission Beach giving out free hot dogs and witnessing to people. Our group has been doing this once a month for years. Sometimes it goes great! ...Other times, so-so. But the key to getting results is consistency.
