Sam Bankman-Fried, self professed to only have $100,000 to his name, is fighting with the second most scummy trading platform, Robinhood, over a $450 Million stake. Creditors and the current FTX CEO John Ray are trying to get it to pay back the people defrauded, but it's funny how often all these less than reputable characters run in similar circles. Mitchell Miller was a ready made prospect going into the NHL Entry Draft in 2020. He was selected in the 4th Round by the Arizona Coyotes, but a short while later, the Arizona Republic released a story about things he had done to a classmate in 2016, when Miller was 14, that resulted in him being cut from the team. At the beginning of November, assuming the heat died down, the Boston Bruins signed Miller to an Entry Level contract, but the mob descended once again and within 48 hours, Miller was unemployed once again. Miller did regrettable things in his youth, things that he admitted to and took responsibility for in Juvenile court. But because it involved a disabled Black student, Mitchell Miller isn't allowed to participate in polite society. This is the most disgusting cancellation I have ever personally seen. The Midterm Elections happened November 8th, the counting in Arizona finished weeks later, on December 20th, there will finally be an answer as to what happened with the Gubernatorial Election between Katie Hobbs and Kari Lake. As things stand right now, Katie Hobbs is the Governor-Elect, as she defeated Kari Lake by a shade over 17,000 votes. She signed off on her victory, so it is all but certain that she will be sworn in as Arizona's new Governor in the New Year, but Kari Lake has an outside shot with a lawsuit that has legs that will be heard on December 20th. Kari Lake's team has taken one victory so far by being able to assess ballots from Maricopa County to assess discrepancies. 150 Randomly selected ballots from three different methods of collection will be assessed. Lake alleges that 135,000 votes were affected, so if she can get even a quarter, an interesting scenario will play out in the wake. What about other people on those ballots? Will this affect other races? Do the votes get tossed or will Arizona runback one or all the elections? These are interesting questions to be sorted in the coming days. The lauded Twitter Trust and Safety Board is no more! Elon Musk has done away with the censorship wing of the Social Media platform, perhaps due to the revelation that its former Director was a bit, well, eclectic. Yoel Roth, the former head of T&S has quite the checkered past in regards to spicy takes. His tweet history, if interpreted as such, can be a bit of a trip, but the real sauce is his 2016 doctoral dissertation. Titled "Gay Data," Roth probes the users of the hookup app Grindr, that services exclusively gay men. Roth asks what can be done for underage users, besides expelling any errant users from the platform. Enter Elon Musk. Tweeting out an excerpt from the paper, Musk highlighted how Roth pondered creating an underage section on the sexualy explicit app. Justifiably calling into question the legality and morality of such a claim, Roth shot back with claims of being victimized and taken out of context. That wasn't what happened though, and there is even more to understand, if you wish to look. It's not good and Twitter is better off with Yoel Roth on the outside looking in. Emily Blunt, while out promoting her new series "The English," told a funny story about working with Tom Cruise on "Edge of Tomorrow." A lot of people would have taken the statement and twisted it into something it clearly wasn't, instead Blunt took the off-handed remark from the legendary Cruise and embodied "not being a pu$$y" to heart and made a great film out of it. If you wanted to like her even more, how about dunking on the bland and generic sTrOnG fEmAlE archetype that is permeating Hollywood for the past decade or so. The most notable name to buck the trend of embracing the norm and submitting to the virtue signaling studio executives and instead advocating for interesting, insightful characters that don't have to be overt with their storytelling. Hours before he was supposed to testify before a House Committee, Sam Bankman-Fried was arrested on multiple charges of Fraud and Money Laundering in the Bahamas. All of the suspicion surrounding Deep State collusion to get the (at the time) sitting President of the United States removed from polite society was confirmed to be completely true. Dan Bongino, Charlie Kirk and the Libs of TikTok account were all under some sort of "ban." Search suppression, trending suppression, post suppression; you name it, they've got a ban for that. Do you recall any of the numerous times former CEO Jack Dorsey was dragged in front of Congress and specifically asked about being able to read Direct Messages and if there was a Blacklist? Remember him denying any knowledge? Well, my dude was straight up lying, BIG SHOCK! Will the Republicans follow up on these revelations? Time will tell, but the current Boss isn't so forgiving. Elon Musk went straight for Jack. Saying that Twitter wasn't doing a thing about child exploitation materials on their platform, Jack plead denial, so Elon brought receipts. He has made it priority number one to out the MAP's and scrub all that content from the platform, the proof is in the pudding.
