Why You Should NOT Pay Off Your Mortgage Early

Savings SHOOTOUT - High Yield Savings, Bank CDs, Treasury Bonds, or Money Market?
With interest rates at historical highs, investors often ask, should I keep my funds in my high yield savings, lock them up in a bank CD for a year or more, or invest in a Treasury Bond?
Another option, money market funds, are often overlooked by investors and may be worth exploring too.
In this live, I will explain what locking up your money in a CD or treasury bond may mean. I will answer the questions: What if you need the funds early? What are the potential penalties? How much should you lock up and at what maturity?
We will talk about where you can invest your cash for the short and long term and earn a competitive interest rate.

Why The FIRE Movement Is NOT a Recipe For Success
If you've found this video, you've probably heard of or are in the FIRE movement. If not, don't worry! I explain what it is, what's good about it, and why I don't think FIRE is ultimately a recipe for success
FIRE stands for Financial Independence Retire Early. The FIRE movement encourages adherents to save 50-75% of their income to retire by their late 30s.
There are good principles within the movement, but ultimately, I don't believe the demands of FIRE are a recipe for success in life and don't recommend it to my clients.

Robert Kiyosaki Is CRAZY
Robert Kiyosaki is an investment influencer best known for writing the personal finance book Rich Dad Poor Dad, which advocates for financial education, investing in assets, and creating passive income as keys to achieving financial success.
There is no doubt that Robert Kiyosaki's teachings and financial philosophy have helped thousands of people. But more recently his financial outlook has taken a doomsday spin. Viral clips are now seen spreading information that, in many ways, are a complete contrast to the advice he originally popularized.
Should we take this new Robert Kiosaki seriously? In this video, I dive into my thoughts and where I agree with him, and where I would warn the average investor to take with a grain of salt.

Confused about permanent life insurance? This video is for you! In 30 minutes, I explain the ins and outs of whole life insurance, universal life insurance, variable universal life insurance, and indexed life insurance so you can understand the benefits and drawbacks of each. I also introduce you the 5 terms you need to understand when evaluating permanent life insurance policies, including death benefit, beneficiary, premium, cash value, and cash surrender value. After watching, you should also understand how the premium, cost of insurance, and cash value work together to provide you a life insurance policy.
I'm a financial planner with my own "opinion" of these products and their purported benefits to policy holders, but my intention here is to provide you all of the facts so you can make your own decision. At the end of the video, I give you 5 reasons why I do not recommend permanent life insurance to my clients and also provide 3 exceptions where a professional might recommend permanent life insurance.
Use the timestamps to help guide yourself through the video! I hope you come away with a better understanding of these products and their applicability as both a safety net for you and your family and investment vehicles. If you have had any personal experience with these products or have some reason to have a different perspective please share in the comments!

How To Get Started With Roth Money (Roth IRA Learning Tools)
Wondering what is a Roth IRA or how to get started with Roth IRA investing? Over my career as a financial planner I've helped countless investors and families maximize their retirement, college, and inheritance savings through the power of Roth money. A Roth IRA can be one of the most powerful tools in your financial planning arsenal, but between the regulatory red tap, ira contribution limits, and various administrative structures (employer sponsored plan, roth conversions, backdoor roth ira etc.), figuring out how to best setup up a Roth IRA, much less maximize your contributions, can be overwhelming.
In this video, my intent is to provide a framework for your Roth Money learning. Think of this as a clear and concise "table of contents" for your roth studies, whether you choose to take advantage of my Roth education eCourse (https://bit.ly/rothmoney) or choose to self-educate.
If you are looking for a tool that will help you get from 0 through opening and contributing to a Roth IRA savings account, my eCourse is exactly that. You can enroll on Gumroad for lifetime access to the course contents + exclusive office hour streams to help students through any questions or issues they run into.
