In this Brilliant Song, Destroyer, Davies sets out a character that we have ALL Known at times in our Life, it's a Self Destructing Man because he lives in FEAR; thus, he's not really living at all, rather he is only ever REACTING to what Life has to offer him, which is constant problems and endless moments where Left Brain Paranoia can reign Supreme, causing us to do countless insane things, all in the name of Paranoia, and believe me, if you allow to, it WILL DESTROY YOU... This may be the Best Roll the Rock Video I have ever created, and it is fitting, as this may be one of the Truly Finest Songs ever Written and Recorded, as Bruce Springsteen's Rock Opera, Jungleland, is a Journey Within the Imaginarium of the Mind; and where your Frequency is located, will determine the 'Ride' you go on... Jungleland is on par with the Pure Descriptive Genius of Bob Dylan, as Springsteen takes the Listener on the Journey of a Lifetime, DEEP within his own Mind, via Meditation, and what plays out in the Story, represents the Hopes, Desires, Fears and Pitfalls of this Man, in his Most Vulnerable state...as here, within Bruce Springsteen's own interpretation of this 'Out There' World, the Jungleland, lays his most Deep-Seated Feelings and Emotions, which makes Jungleland one of the Most HONEST and Vivid Songs you will Ever listen to... And this is the Kind of Man that Bruce Springsteen has always been, showing Strength and Courage, in Ways that most would never consider revealing, making his Legacy of Music one of the Best, and most Authentic that Mankind has ever had the privilege of Knowing... Heroes was a breakthrough album for Bowie, as he got himself away from observing Satanism in the City of Angels, and broke Free to Germany where he cleansed himself from the Evils of the West Coast, cleared his mind of the Darkness that lurked there, and then wrote about mattered the most to him, which was FREEDOM and SOVEREIGNTY... First, anyone who thinks that Bruce Springsteen isn't a White Hat, simply does Not Know the Man, nor his Music...Springsteen is not only one of the preeminent Songwriters in Music History, he is also one of the most SELFLESS and Hardworking...the man has Dedicated his Life to Service of Mankind, both thru the litany of his Brilliant Albums, and thru his relentless touring... When I was 17, I saw my first Springsteen concert in Seattle, Washington, at the Old Coliseum, right next to the Space Needle...the concert was 4 HOURS LONG, and at the end of the Incredible show, virtually every fan had to be Pried away by Security, as we simply did not want the Night to end...that is Bruce Springsteen... This song, Badlands, is one of Bruce's best, and it comes from his Most Biblical Album of them all, one of the THE BEST Albums of all time, Darkness on the Edge of Town, and in the song, Bruce creates an Allegory for Jesus' 40 Days and 40 Nights being Tempted by Satan in the Desert, by Brilliantly applying it to OUR Current Journey of needing to renounce the Canaanite creation called, Organized Society, and indeed, we must Spit in the Face of this Evil Construct of Control, so that we may Bust Loose from their Collar, and become Sovereign once more...and we achieve all of this by Trusting in the Power of God, by Walking the Path of Discovery and Self-Righteousness laid out for us by Jesus the Christ... In the First Verse, Springsteen sets all of this up... 'Lights out tonight, trouble in the heartland Got a head-on collision smashin' in my guts, man I'm caught in a crossfire that I don't understand But there's one thing I know for sure, girl I don't give a damn for the same old played-out scenes Baby, I don't give a damn for just the in-betweens Honey, I want the heart, I want the soul, I want control right now' We must come to realize that they have caught in a Crossfire that we don't fully Innerstand, but that we must be willing to Bust Loose from their Evil grip, and take back our own Sovereignty by reclaiming our Heart, our Soul, our Control...and in the second verse, Springsteen speaks to Doing our own Research into who and what is behind our Enslavement so that we may Bust Down their Door... 'Workin' in the fields till you get your back burned Workin' 'neath the wheel till you get your facts learned Baby, I got my facts learned real good right now You better get it straight, darling Poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king And a king ain't satisfied till he rules everything I wanna go out tonight, I wanna find out what I got' And when you come to this realization of the Canaanites, that even Kings aren't satisfied till they rule everything, then we Know that we are in a War for our very own Survival against an Enemy that wouldn't ever give us any quarter... As great as Roxy Music was, as a band, Bryan Ferry's Solo career produced even better Albums than Roxy Music's Classic period, which is saying a lot... Don't Stop the Dance was from Bryan Ferry's Brilliant 1985 Album (#1 in the UK), Boys and Girls, an entire album about the Sacred Importance of Relationships between Men and Wombmen...where the overall premise to the album was that we have been MISLED about both ourselves and Relationships...so much so, that Ferry accurately described us as mere Boys and Girls, attempting to make Sacred Love work, without knowing a single thing about this most important of Subjects... In this song, Don't Stop the Dance, the Song teaches what Colleen and I both practice and Teach, which is, that to make ANY relationship work, both Partners must place God Front and Center in their own Lives...as without this Penitence to God, we, Boys and Girls, simply become Bored, Distracted and Disloyal to each other, resulting in a host of negative and complicated outcomes... Let's Dance is a 'Biblical' David Bowie Song, from his Brilliant Album by the same name, where Bowie sang the entire song FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF GOD... And throughout the Lyrics, God is saying to us that either we are Dancing in UNISON with HIM, in Perfection and Grace, or we are Dancing Without Him and FOR the Cabal, in Slavery...and Bowie's Video makes this point very, very clear, as he used an Aboriginal Boy and Girl from Australia, trying on 'The Red Shoes' of the Cabal, only to become Urban Slaves...whereupon, they threw Away the Canaanite Slippers and went back to the Land where they had Once Belonged to... This song is Brilliant for so many reasons, but two to focus upon are the fact that Randy lays out for us that we have All been TAUGHT to go the Wrong Way in our Lives, and still Randy writes with such Sympathy and Empathy, because he knows that it not only happened to him as well, but to ALL of us, and from our Born Date, as we have been LIED to about everything in our Lives... In 1971 I was 8, and my Mom had to have a surgery in the Victoria General Hospital...Dad told us that it was serious, so I spent quite a bit of time at the Hospital, during the surgery and then afterwards during recovery...and during that time, McCartney's Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey came out and went to #1 in both Canada and the US... It was a song, musically, that captured my Mind as the subdued tone matched how I was feeling inside, being concerned about my Brilliant Mother...and as I sat there in the Hospital, waiting for news, this song came on via a Radio Station, and the announcer said that the song was written by Paul McCartney as a Message of Peace and Brotherhood, across All Waters, after the Insanity of the Robert Kennedy Assassination at the Ambassador Hotel in LA, in 1968...and being so consumed Inside, from an early age, by both JFK and RFK, this song just Latched on to me, as has always been a part of my Psyche, and a Message of HOPE that if we could just come to Reach our Hands across the Waters, and our Heads across the Skies, that we would finally end all of these Wars, and Stop all of this Killing in the name of God, and thus, Love... Simply put, there are lines in Life that we do NOT cross, and this references staying in Virtue, as a Child, versus becoming a Demon running Amok, or an Adult, in this Diseased World... Daryl Hall and John Oates were MASTERS of Music, and Two Good Men, with Good Souls, and in All of their Brilliant songs, they constantly referenced what was Wrong within the World of Men (Ego) and what was Right...and what is Right is staying upon that Path that is Strait and Narrow, in Virtue, and NOT committing Sin...and this incredible song is no different... One of the very best Songs to come out of the 1980's was the composition by Bruce Hornsby (Music) and Don Henley (Lyrics), known as the End of the Innocence...but the song was Not a Depressing composition, far from it, it was in fact, very Inspiring, because within the Song both Men made it very clear that our Stolen Innocence (perpetrated by Organized Society, the Cabal) was only Lost, but it could be easily found...
