Badlands by Bruce Springsteen ~ We Must Face the Canaanite Desert by Trusting in God

First, anyone who thinks that Bruce Springsteen isn't a White Hat, simply does Not Know the Man, nor his Music...Springsteen is not only one of the preeminent Songwriters in Music History, he is also one of the most SELFLESS and Hardworking...the man has Dedicated his Life to Service of Mankind, both thru the litany of his Brilliant Albums, and thru his relentless touring...

When I was 17, I saw my first Springsteen concert in Seattle, Washington, at the Old Coliseum, right next to the Space Needle...the concert was 4 HOURS LONG, and at the end of the Incredible show, virtually every fan had to be Pried away by Security, as we simply did not want the Night to end...that is Bruce Springsteen...

This song, Badlands, is one of Bruce's best, and it comes from his Most Biblical Album of them all, one of the THE BEST Albums of all time, Darkness on the Edge of Town, and in the song, Bruce creates an Allegory for Jesus' 40 Days and 40 Nights being Tempted by Satan in the Desert, by Brilliantly applying it to OUR Current Journey of needing to renounce the Canaanite creation called, Organized Society, and indeed, we must Spit in the Face of this Evil Construct of Control, so that we may Bust Loose from their Collar, and become Sovereign once more...and we achieve all of this by Trusting in the Power of God, by Walking the Path of Discovery and Self-Righteousness laid out for us by Jesus the Christ...

In the First Verse, Springsteen sets all of this up...

'Lights out tonight, trouble in the heartland
Got a head-on collision smashin' in my guts, man
I'm caught in a crossfire that I don't understand
But there's one thing I know for sure, girl
I don't give a damn for the same old played-out scenes
Baby, I don't give a damn for just the in-betweens
Honey, I want the heart, I want the soul, I want control right now'

We must come to realize that they have caught in a Crossfire that we don't fully Innerstand, but that we must be willing to Bust Loose from their Evil grip, and take back our own Sovereignty by reclaiming our Heart, our Soul, our Control...and in the second verse, Springsteen speaks to Doing our own Research into who and what is behind our Enslavement so that we may Bust Down their Door...

'Workin' in the fields till you get your back burned
Workin' 'neath the wheel till you get your facts learned
Baby, I got my facts learned real good right now
You better get it straight, darling
Poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king
And a king ain't satisfied till he rules everything
I wanna go out tonight, I wanna find out what I got'

And when you come to this realization of the Canaanites, that even Kings aren't satisfied till they rule everything, then we Know that we are in a War for our very own Survival against an Enemy that wouldn't ever give us any quarter...

The Song is Epic, as is the entire Album...it is Biblical, it is Allegorical, and it is the Truth...that we must become STRONG within ourselves by learning to Trust in God, and then we must face this Enemy of ours, wearing the Armor of God, so that Free Will Sovereignty may Reign Supreme once more...
