Date – Monday, April 24th - 2023 – St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen
St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen was born as Mark Rey in 1577 in Sigmaringen, Prussia. He was a successful lawyer but disillusioned with the corruption and fraud in the legal system and society. Thus, he became a priest and joined the Capuchin Order at age 35, taking the name Fidelis. He was a remarkable orator and preached in various German, Austrian, and Swiss cities. His efforts were not confined to the pulpit, as he also wrote pamphlets against Calvinism and Zwinglianism. He was appointed as Superior at several monasteries and was also tasked by the Papal Nuncio to reform monasteries of other Orders. The Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith appointed the Capuchins to combat Calvinism in the region of Grisons, Switzerland, and Fr. Fidelis was chosen to lead the mission. He was so successful that the heretics became alarmed and spread rumors that he was preparing the way for the subjugation of the country by Austria. Despite this, he continued to preach, and in 1622, he was martyred by Calvinists who had surrounded him and offered to save his life if he would apostatize. He replied, "I came to extirpate your heresy, not to embrace it," and was killed with blows of swords. St. Fidelis presents an admirable example of fortitude and willingness to face martyrdom.
St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen, Pray for us.

Date – Friday, April 21st - 2023 – St. Anselm of Canterbury
St. Anselm of Canterbury (1033-c.1109) was a Benedictine Abbot who became Archbishop of Canterbury. He was intrepid in his combat for the Faith and the defense of the Church against King William II, also known as William Rufus. St. Anselm was reluctant to accept the position of Archbishop of Canterbury due to the problems that would arise from the king's stubborn encroachment into the affairs of the Church. He argued that he was barely able to bear the load of an entire church, let alone mingle in temporal affairs. The Bishops responded that they would take care of the temporal affairs, and Anselm raised new arguments that he could not abandon his many obligations. The King, gravely ill, urged him to accept, warning that his refusal would result in the king's death. Those present accused Anselm of cowardice, and a Crosier was placed in his hand. As he held it, they shouted, "Long live the Bishop!" and sang the Te Deum. This event illustrates the struggle between the Church and temporal power, with Anselm's reluctance highlighting the tension between the two.
St. Anselm of Canterbury, Pray for us.

Most Popular Kids in the World Support Transgenderism - Abortion Pill Update
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Monday, April 17th - 2023 – St. Stephen Harding
St. Stephen Harding was an English noble who consecrated himself to the monastic life in the Abbey of Sherbonne. He later joined the Abbey of Molesme in France under the direction of St. Robert and Blessed Alberic, but when the monastery declined, they left with St. Stephen and 18 other monks to establish a new abbey in Cîteaux, known as the Cistercians. St. Stephen became the abbot and wrote the statutes of the monastery, which were approved by Pope Paschal II. He fought to maintain strict observance and prayed for novices, and eventually St. Bernard and his companions arrived, leading to the establishment of the Abbey of Clairvaux. St. Stephen died in 1134, known for his humility and dedication to the monastic life.

Female Inmates Reveal Reality of Transgender Inmates - New Exhibit on the Shroud of Turin
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Friday, April 14th - 2023 – St. Benezet of Avignon
St. Benezet of Avignon, also known as "Little Benezet" due to his short stature, received a mission from Heaven in 1177 to build a bridge over the Rhône River in Avignon, France. Despite having no resources or knowledge, he courageously went to the Bishop to inform him of his mission. The Bishop thought he was mad and sent him to the Governor, who also doubted his abilities. However, Benezet easily moved a large stone that 30 men could not, proving his mission was possible. With the Governor's support, donations poured in, and a confraternity of lay brothers was founded to help build the bridge. St. Benezet, known for his gift of miracles, directed and helped the builders. The Avignon Bridge was completed in 11 years, and other bridges were subsequently built by the Brotherhood of the Bridge Builders to facilitate travel for pilgrims, travelers, and the poor. St. Benezet's body was buried on the bridge and remained incorrupt for about 500 years until it was transferred to Avignon Cathedral in 1669. Through his remarkable achievements, St. Benezet demonstrated the power of Divine Providence and the greatness of soul that can be found in humble and seemingly insignificant individuals chosen by God for great works.

The Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria - Gun Safety and Preparedness
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Thursday, April 13th - 2023 – St. Hermenegild
St. Hermenegild was a Visigoth prince in Spain during the dominance of Arianism in the year 550. He initially followed his father, King Leovigild, in professing Arianism and was appointed to the throne of Seville. However, he converted to Catholicism through the influence of his Catholic wife, Ingund. When King Leovigild demanded that Hermenegild return to Arianism, he refused and was besieged in Seville for almost two years before fleeing to Cordoba and then Osseto. Despite offers of reconciliation, Hermenegild remained steadfast in his Catholic faith and refused to renounce it, even refusing to receive the sacrilegious Paschal Communion from an Arian bishop. As a result, he was sentenced to death by his father and was beheaded on April 13, 586. King Leovigild later repented and asked for forgiveness on his deathbed, and the martyrdom of St. Hermenegild is considered the first step in the conversion of all of Spain to Catholicism.

John-Henry Westen Kicked Off of YouTube - Is COVID Finally Over?
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Wednesday, April 12th - 2023 – Pope St. Julius I
Pope St. Julius I (337-352) fought against the Arians and acquired a reputation for sanctity. He convened the Council of Sardica in Illyria in 343, where he supported St. Athanasius, Bishop of Alexandria, in his battle against the Arian heresy. The Council confirmed St. Athanasius' innocence and deposed eight Arian bishops. The Fathers of the Council sent Pope Julius I a letter expressing their unity with him and denouncing the enemies of the Church. This letter is seen as a powerful anti-ecumenical document, emphasizing the Pope's role in supporting and defending the Catholic Faith against heresy. Pope St. Julius I's unwavering stance against the Arians and his support of orthodox doctrine earned him a reputation for holiness and courageous leadership in defense of the Faith.

Problems with Marriage Prep - Trevor Alcron on the Problem with Bud Light
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Monday, April 10th - 2023 – St. Magdalene of Canossa
Wealth and privilege did nothing to prevent today’s saint from following her calling to serve Christ in the poor. Nor did the protests of her relatives, concerned that such work was beneath her.
Born in northern Italy in 1774, Magdalene knew her mind—and spoke it. At age 15 she announced she wished to become a nun. After trying out her vocation with the cloistered Carmelites, she realized her desire was to serve the needy without restriction. For years she worked among the poor and sick in hospitals and in their homes, and also among delinquent and abandoned girls.
In her mid-20s, Magdalene began offering lodging to poor girls in her own home. In time she opened a school, which offered practical training and religious instruction. As other women joined her in the work, the new Congregation of the Canossian Daughters of Charity—or Canossian Sisters—emerged. Over time, houses were opened throughout Italy.
Members of the new religious congregation focused on the educational and spiritual needs of women. Magdalene also founded a smaller congregation for priests and brothers. Both groups continue to this day.

Vatican Overturns Three Papal Bulls - Fulton Sheen Today
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Thursday, April 6th - 2023 – St. Aphraates
St. Aphraates, also known as Aphrahat, was born in Persia in 280 and died in 345. He was an anchorite and a sage who had the power of working miracles. He was a defender of the Catholic faith against the Arians in the fourth century. While the details of his miracles are unknown, it is fascinating to see a saint who used miracles as a form of apologetics. It is not clear why Our Lady does not give us the power to work miracles against today's heretics, but it is believed that the specific grace the counter-revolutionary receives is a special grace that gives him the possibility to see that the Holy, Roman, Catholic and Apostolic Church is the true Church and that the civil order based on Catholic doctrine is the true civil and temporal order. This grace relies, like any grace, on an acceptance of the will. These characteristics give us such clarity on what the True Religion is that we do not need to work miracles. St. Aphraates is a reminder that miracles are not necessary for our sanctification, and the miracle of faith is what is truly noble and beautiful.

Why are Leftist So Depressed? - The Shroud of Turin with Fr. Andrew Dalton
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Wednesday, April 5th - 2023 – St. Vincent Ferrer
Saint Vincent Ferrer was a Dominican friar born in Valencia, Spain, in 1350. At a young age, he showed a strong devotion to God and joined the Dominican order, where he later became a renowned preacher and missionary. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, preaching the gospel and converting thousands of people.
One of his most famous miracles occurred in 1411 when he was preaching in the city of Toledo, Spain. A group of Jews had challenged him to prove that Christianity was the true religion, and Vincent agreed to do so in front of a large crowd. As he spoke, a heavenly light shone down upon him, and the Jews fell to their knees and converted to Christianity.
Another notable miracle happened in 1413 when Vincent was called to the bedside of a dying woman who had been bedridden for 12 years. As he prayed over her, she suddenly got up and walked, completely healed.
Vincent was also known for his miraculous abilities to heal the sick and even bring the dead back to life. He was a prolific writer and composer of hymns, and his teachings on the end times and the Antichrist were highly influential.
Along with St. Thomas Aquinas, he is credited with being one of the "dikes" that held back the intellectual and moral corruption of his era. He died in 1419 at the age of 62.

Man to be Imprisoned for Creating a Meme - Is the USCCB Funding Trans Surgery?
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Holy Tuesday, April 4th - 2023 – St. Isidore of Seville
St. Isidore of Seville was a Bishop and Doctor of the Church, known for his zeal, Catholic faith, and observance of ecclesiastical discipline. He was a prolific writer and fought tenaciously against the Arians. In his Chosen Works, there is a text titled “Lamentations of a Sinner,” where he establishes a profound link between the moral conduct of a man and his exterior behavior. He emphasized that everyone should appear before others in accordance with a Catholic moral ideal. St. Isidore advises seeking good company and avoiding bad company, refuting the progressivist mentality that affirms that the good should mix with the bad in order to "do apostolate."

Born in Egypt, Mary became a public woman in Alexandria at the age of 12 and continued for 17 years before being moved by a force preventing her from entering the church during a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. She realized her impure life prevented her from seeing the life-giving cross and begged the Virgin Mary to obtain forgiveness for her sins, promising to renounce the world and live in chastity. With a renewed sense of hope, Mary crossed the Jordan and lived in the desert for 47 years, enduring extreme deprivation and temptations until her complete victory over them by the grace of God. A chance meeting with St. Zosimus led to her first reception of Holy Communion, which she had not received since her conversion. She asked him to bury her body in the sand when she passed away, which he did, and an inscription in the sand was found by her head. St. Mary of Egypt is a remarkable example of how no one is beyond redemption, and how true contrition and penance can lead to sainthood.
St. Mary of Egypt, Pray for us.

Date – Thursday, March 30th - 2023 – Bl. Amadeus, Duke of Savoy
Bl. Amadeus, Duke of Savoy, was born in 1435 and succeeded his father Louis as the Duke of Savoy. He married Yolanda of Valois, sister of Louis XI, King of France, and had 10 children. Despite his high position, he treated his subjects with kindness and did not exploit them or involve them in useless wars. He was severe with libertines, money changers, and blasphemers. He was known for his goodness to the poor and administered his state with a Christian spirit. He fasted rigorously, prayed, and did penance. He suffered from epilepsy and his health deteriorated in the last year of his life, but he saw his afflictions as a path to the Kingdom of God. He died in 1472 at the age of 37. Bl. Amadeus was a model ruler who demonstrated a balance of power and goodness. He was a father and protector of the people, and his actions did not promote revolutionary germs. He lived in accordance with his dignity and had a perfect balance of kindness and respect.

Skin Rotting Drug Arrives Across the Border - Taliban Showcase Seized US Weapons
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Tuesday, March 28th - 2023 – St. John of Capistrano
St. John of Capistrano was born in Italy in 1386 and entered the Franciscan Monastery of Monte after becoming disillusioned with the world. He was appointed governor of Perugia at the age of 26, and later became an Inquisitor and a great fighter against heretics on the doctrinal level, converting many of them. He was also a great orator who preached to audiences of 20-30,000 people and preached a Crusade against the Muslim Turks. He traveled to Belgrade to encourage the Catholic soldiers who were surrounded by Mohammed II and accompanied the troops in their more difficult maneuvers, which led to the salvation of Belgrade and stalled the Turkish invasion, thus saving all of Europe. He died in 1456 in the Franciscan Monastery of Villach, Austria, from bubonic plague.

The Heresy That All Sin is the Same - The Coming Christian Persecution - Tik Tok and China
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Monday, March 27th - 2023 – St. John Damascene
St. John Damascene was the grand vizir of the Caliph of Damascus when Emperor Leo the Isaurian began a campaign to destroy the Catholic statues, which began the iconoclast heresy. St. John immediately took up his pen to defend this ancient practice of Catholics, for which his hand was chopped off, but the Virgin Mary appeared and reattached the hand. He wrote numerous works and beautiful verses, and his style was vigorous and polemic. He argued that those who destroy statues but venerate the Bible are inconsistent in their position. He retired to the monastery of St. Sabas southeast of Jerusalem and died there as a monk dedicated to prayer and study.

So-Called Mayan Mass - Jose Antonio Ureta Reflects on the Francis pontificate
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Thursday, March 23rd - 2023 – St. Gabriel the Arch-Angel
St. Gabriel the Archangel is known for his role in delivering the message of the Annunciation to Mary and the foretelling of the birth of St. John the Baptist to Zachary. His name, fortitudo Dei, meaning the power of God, reflects the nature of his message, which announced the Incarnation of the Word and the victory over the Devil. St. Gabriel is also the devotee of Mary par excellence, revealing to her that she was to be the Mother of God and helping her understand her mission. The message he delivered is one of essential purity, announcing the virginal maternity of Mary and God's love for purity. St. Gabriel is also seen as a special protector of purity. On his feast day, March 24, we can ask him for the coming of the Reign of Mary and for a super-abundant devotion to Our Lady, as well as a love of purity.

The Chosen Teaching Heresy - Trump - Fr. Patrick McCain on the Seal of Confession
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Tuesday, March 21st - 2023 – St. Nicholas of Flue
St. Nicholas of Flue was born in Switzerland in 1417 and died in 1487. His parents were peasants who recognized his intelligence and piety, and they provided him with a better education. At age 23, he was called to arms against the canton of Zurich and eventually became a captain with 100 men under his command. However, he showed a profound spirit of hierarchy and declined an important public post, stating that he was from humble origins. He later became a hermit, and his body is preserved in the Church of Sachseln, decorated with gold and precious stones. He was known as Brother Klaus and was often called on by dignitaries to make peace between the cantons in their continuous disputes. Pilgrims came from distant parts to consult him. St. Nicholas was a great warrior who carried his sword in one hand and his shield and rosary in the other.

John of Parma was an Italian Franciscan friar and theologian who served as one of the first Ministers General of the Order of Friars Minor from 1247 to 1257. He was elected with the support of the rigorist branch of the Order, and he set out to visit every community of friars to know personally the state of the Order. He also traveled to Spain and the East for an embassy to the Eastern Orthodox Church. John retired to the hermitage at the village of Greccio after his generalate and lived in voluntary exile and complete solitude. However, he was later accused of Joachimism and was submitted to a canonical process.
Upon his acquittal, he returned to Greccio and continued his life of prayer and work. It was there, it is said, that an angel once served his Mass
